Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Such a great addition to our honeymoon"

Review by: Amy B | Source: Trip Advisor
What an amazing experience, and so great to see that everywhere we turned, the camp was working to conserve the environment. Whether it be the tents surrounded by trees or the supply of clean drinking water into glass bottles, it is visible to see that Noel, Cecile and the team are really working alongside our environment, not against it. We were able to see all animals, except the sloth bear (which we didn't mind missing out on, due to their elusive nature), and only participated in 3 of the 4 game drives (due to wanting quiet time during our honeymoon). The staff are amazingly helpful and courteous and knowledgeable, and will even run to your rescue at midnight if you hear something in the bushes as there's mobile phones provided for anything of the like. The traditional food is nothing short of AMAZING! My husband is the fussiest eater and was a tad worried beforehand to say the least, but enjoyed almost everything put in front of him and not once went hungry (quite the opposite!). The honeymoon tent was a little out of our budget, so we chose to stay in the 'normal' couple tent, however were definitely not disappointed. I'm definitely going to have trouble getting my husband to come 'normal' camping again! It's very comfortable, spacious and 'glamorous' for bush standards! And perhaps the coolest part was meeting so many incredible people from around the world who were there too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As you can see - highly recommend for anyone visiting Sri Lanka :)

Satri House: "Charming and Excellent"

Review by: GeraldSingapore | Source: Trip Advisor
"I've not had such a great hotel experience in a long time, and considering at the pace i'd been travelling in the past 2 months to UK, Africa and Singapore, the staff at Satri house was a great respite in making me enjoy travelling again. I'm sure the magical town has its own charms too, but this great boutique really made the trip much more magical. The location is very good, although not smacked in the middle of the old town, you can get there by foot easily, with just a 10 minute stroll, or 2 minutes on the hotel's bicycle (traffic in Luang Prabang is so light, you'll fell safe even on the main roads). The building itself is a gorgeous colonial building and it's as if you've stepped back in time when you enter the hotel through the corridor of bamboo tress in the walk way. My room was on the ground floor, and was charmingly appointed in a classical style with four poster bed that staff will drape over with the mosquito net during turn down. The bed was firm and comfortable, and there was a pillow menu available too. In room, there were plenty of bottled mineral water to let you stay hydrated. i also like the lack of a TV in the room so you have no choice but to linger in the amazing lawn or pool side, or explore the town. The bathroom has a nice rain shower and another hand held shower faucet, and is spacious. Everywhere you walk on this property, staffs will smile and ask how your day is. Even the property manager, is constantly seen moving around, chatting and talking to guests. One afternoon, I was walking and saw him form a distance - he immediately ended his call on his cell while i was still 50 meters away and greeted me when I approached. It's this little touched that makes one feel so valued as a guest. When I checked in, the staff was so eager to tell me the sights I should visit and offered to help me plan a day trip to the waterfalls, which I had given up trying to go prior to my arrival as it seemed so far, and had it not been the help and information offered, I'd be so sad to pass the trip to witness the amazing falls. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone as it's a great place to stay in Luang Prabang!"

The Hue House: "Amazing food!"

Review by: marcstussak | Source: Trip Advisor
"The hue house is absolutely amazing restaurant! It is hard to find as it is located on the 10th floor of the bussiness buildig/ hotel and has no advertisement leading you to the restaurant. Due to this, the place is still undiscovered from tourists and there are always available tables( even for big groups). Regarding to the food- it is the best place in saigon to eat viatnameese food! Strongly recomended! Staff is increably polite and friendly and the view from the rooftop is outstanding! If you are in saigon- you should definitely come here to get the hue exerience!"

Rachamankha: "The definition of perfection"

Review by: Jonathan D | Source: Trip Advisor
This hotel was a sight in itself. It was absolutely stunning, the service was fantastic, and the restaurant's food was some of the best that we had in all of Thailand. We would highly recommend this hotel, and pray to be able to return sometime in the near future.

Reverie Siam Pai: "Oasisd"

Review by: Giggelsteiner | Source: Trip Advisor
We’ve stayed for 2 nights @ Reverie Siam Resort and all of us truly enjoyed it. We booked a Villa Family which was enormous in size. The Villa was well maintained, clean and equipped with a super comparable mattress. 👍👍👍👍👍

Dewakan: "Molecular gastronomy and haute cuisine for traditional Malay flavours"

Review by: LondonConyers | Source: Trip Advisor
"The best meal I have ever eaten, and my wife thought the same. And we have eaten in a lot of excellent restaurants around the world. This relatively new restaurant must be heading for a Michelin star before very long. The 10 course tasting menu included some of the finest and most surprising dishes I have ever tasted. Outrageously bold and delicious flavour and texture combinations using traditional Malay flavours and local ingredients, served with genuine flair for presentation. The staff provide wonderful service in this small restaurant currently housed in KDU university buildings. Go. Go soon before it becomes impossible to get a table. Go so you can tell people you supported this chef and this restaurant before they were famous."

Cuca: "Wow, wow and wow"

Review by: metters1 | Source: Trip Advisor
This is an amazing restaurant. The location, the atmosphere, the simple yet classy architecture and the wonderful knowledgeable staff. The food is to die for and Chef Kevin Churkas has assembled a classy team in the kitchen to deliver outstanding food. This restaurant will stay in the memory bank for a very long time.

Villa Song Saigon: "Beautiful Hotel"

Review by: nigelwelch | Source: Trip Advisor
"We had a great stay here. The best bed we have ever had in a hotel.A lovely tranquil place on the river. Very friendly staff, nice rooms and public areas. Excellent breakfast and dinner. In district 2 about 30 mins from the centre of town. Regular free boat service in to town. A perfect place to stay just a little way from a very busy, noisy and bustling city. Would love to go back "

Rachamankha: "Great spot in Chiang Mai"

Review by: AndyLosAltos | Source: Trip Advisor
"The Rachmanka is a small, beautiful, relaxing spot in the middle of bustling Chiang Mai. It's walking distance to the temples, night markets and restaurants, yet quiet and serene once you enter the gates. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable, the pool a perfect temperature and the breakfast in the restaurant (included in the rate) was fantastic. They make great lattes. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the New Year's Eve party was amazing! The only suggestions I'd make to the management (which other reviewers have also made) are: 1) Station a bell clerk out front so that when guests arrive someone is there to help them with their bags and show them where to check in. It's quite confusing to find the front desk as it's around the corner from the courtyard entrance. There's a bell clerk sitting at the front desk, but he should be sitting out front, greeting guests. 2) The hotel needs a concierge. The front desk staff were friendly and nice, and answered questions well, but it would have been nice to have one person on staff responsible for helping with trip and restaurant reservations. We were never sure who to ask for help with those things. Those two things aside, our experience was great, and we'd definitely stay there again vs. one of the high rise or away from town hotels."

Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Fantastic"

Review by: Geoff T | Source: Trip Advisor
Delighted with our stay here. It only has 6 rooms, so the service is very personal, compounded by the fact it is also a hospitality school so you are helping students learn. The room was large and luxurious and the food was the best we had eaten in Myanmar by far.
