Pindaya Farm House: "Excellent warm and cozy boutique hotel with amazing food"

Review by: TalEven | Source: Trip Advisor
"My wife and I stayed at Thahara in Pindaya on our last night in Myanmar. What a delightful end to such an enjoyable trip. Thahara is situated on a private farmhouse, providing such a warm and cozy feeling to guests. The hosts were very gracious and warm. The views of the surrounding fields - especially during sunset and sunrise - are breathtaking. The host family prepares delicious meals and use produce and herbs from their garden, taking ""farm to table"" to a whole new level. The food was absolutely spectacular, as not only is it so fresh, but the hosts are amazing cooks. The rooms were all modern and in great condition. We highly recommend staying here!"

The Cabochon Hotel and Residence: "Perfect escape"

Review by: Lexi M | Source: Trip Advisor
This hotel was the perfect way to end our trip in Thailand. The hotel was even better than described/pictured. It is in a great area, close to the sky train but secluded and peaceful. Definitely a beautiful boutique hotel with amazing service. I only wish we had stayed longer to take advantage of the pool and the restaurant, but the bar and breakfast were wonderful! Our room was picturesque (in addition to the rest of the hotel). We will definitely be back and would recommend the Cabochon to anyone!

Tugu Lombok: "Never been anywhere like this before"

Review by: yourfather | Source: Trip Advisor
My wife and I loved it. It was like being welcomed back to the family home that I never grew up in. The delicious food, the quiet pools, the sunrise over the beach. I write from Villa 2 dreading having to check out in 4 hours. We spent three beautiful nights here. Our daughter was treated like royalty, given a crown and sceptre made from leaves. The pools with green tiles are beautiful and luxurious and as we floated together in the tranquil surroundings all thoughts about the rest of the world disappeared. We ate mahi mahi and lobster on a bamboo bed lit by candles and decorated with ketupat. If you can come here, please do. You will remember it forever.

Muang La Lodge: "Special property is a special part of Laos"

Review by: pam10000 | Source: Trip Advisor
"The resort is beautiful. Each detail has been well thought out. The staff is professional and wonderfully trained. The property is maintained well and offers ""serious"" food - all beautifully presented. My cottage/room was lovely. I enjoyed everything about the property and would highly recommend a visit. There is a great deal to do in the area and they staff have beautifully organized excursions on which you take a picnic lunch. Hair dryer, robe, safe in room, great laundry service, and great service in general - the staff are very sweet, kind, and professional. Again, each detail is beautiful and appropriate."

Locavore: "good food and great service"

Review by: kalena_jehan09 | Source: Trip Advisor
We had an incredible experience at this restaurant. The food was flawless, but we were truly impressed with the ease, welcoming, and fluidity of the staff. They thought of everything. From greeting us as we walked in. It is clear that they are as passionate about the guests' experience as much as the food they're creating. Do yourself a favour and go visit. Enjoy the grandeur, you will not be disappointed.

Tugu Bali: "Amazing! Best Hotel and the original hotel in canggu"

Review by: Victor H | Source: Trip Advisor
"Wow what a place this hotel is very very special... the rooms are incredible! The whole hotel is like a Indonesian museum, it's got some amazing artefacts and antique furnishings throughout the whole place, the owner is the largest collector of Indonesian artefacts and antiques in the world, its such a special place to just walk around... part of the restaurant is made out of a 300 year old beautifully carved family temple that was saved by the founder of Tugu hotels dismantled then shipped to Tugu Canggu where it was restricted and became the interior of one of their fabulous restaurants within the hotel... the hotel is as much a museum as it is a hotel... We stayed in the rejang suite which has a awesome bath and views over the sea... the bed is one of the comfiest beds I've slept in I love the pillows, they equal the standard of the four seasons or ritz Carlton bedding... basically it's more than comfortable!! :) We loved the grounds which are all beautifully kept as is the Lilly ponds and there's large beautiful fish swimming through the little rivers that run throughout the hotel grounds... it’s very calming and peaceful environment. The staff were all so kind and friendly we were given a full tour of the hotel and showed around all of the Indonesian artefacts and antiques that the owner of Tugu hotels has tirelessly collected over years... there’s some really amazing things here if your into your culture and history this is a really special treat! The JI restaurant has some awesome sushi we had a evening snack and then came back lunch the next day as the sushi is just amazing! On our 2nd night we attended their cultural evening and had dinner in front of the whole performance it was amazing, the show was beautifully performed and the food was to die for! Cocktails are pretty decent too!! We had a fantastic two days at the Tugu hotel and were really taken back by the beauty of this hotel it’s just really stunning! I you want something unique and special but also luxurious then Tugu Canggu is your best bet! Thanks to everyone who made our stay so special at Tugu Hotel! Victor & Emma x"

Samanea Beach Resort: "“Girls Trip in Cambodia”"

Review by: goadkimberly | Source: Trip Advisor
Beautiful, secluded resort. The hospitality and atmosphere is beyond expectations. We arrived in early afternoon to welcoming arms and were escorted to our villa. We enjoyed the delicious lunch and partook in 2 for 1 drinks at happy hour. When the bar tender discovered I preferred Bacardi Rum to what they offered, he went to a market and purchased it for my next drink! Unbelievable people! The servers gladly held our second round of drinks for after we returned from dinner. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and kind. The outdoor bath and shower were a perfect ending to serene and peaceful day.

Dewakan: "An Absolute Must Visit"

Review by: Christian B | Source: Trip Advisor
"If there is only one restaurant you can go to while you are in KL, then make it this one! I don't usually gush lyrical, but here is a young chef who combines well rehearsed classical technique with inventiveness and an open mind. Added to this is a philosophy that is not floridly wordy, but very much bound to the earth and to his own family traditions. Chef Darren sources his ingredients locally and lets his family recipes be part of his inspiration. So what should you expect? Beautifully prepared dishes with a distinct, sometimes subtle, sometimes strong local flavour, lots of freshness and a little playful fun. Overall, great, great food that you definitely must not miss out on."

Tugu Bali: "Unexpected elegance"

Review by: jsseelye | Source: Trip Advisor
Surrounded by antiques from all over Asia, Tugu Canggu was a haven of casual elegance, great dining and easy access to beaches, surfing and shopping. The manager, Jenny, was especially helpful in guiding us to our surroundings and anticipating our needs. The rest of the staff were warm, thoughtful and delightfully pleasant.

Mie Cafe: "Fantastic fusion"

Review by: John M | Source: Trip Advisor
"My wife and I had dinner and we were there in the early evening so had no trouble getting a table. This restaurant serves Khmer fusion which took us by surprise in that the dishes were visually stunning and amazing to eat - flavoursome with texture things going on, just brilliant. Not to be missed."
