Tugu Bali: "Old world charm with the location to match"
"We asked for a beach view and we definitely received one. Great view of the beach/sunset with the sound of the waves constantly crashing in. The room had so much old world charm about it that it really makes you wonder what has happened to the current state of hotels. The entrance hall was breathtaking with the high ceilings and the massive timber beams scattered throughout. Staff were second to none and all the Indonesian/Balinese inspired meals were also a highlight. We left as relaxed and refreshed as we ever have after a few weeks in Bali. We will be back in again in a few months."Sanak Retreat Bali: "Entspannung in wunderschöner Umgebung"
Manukan Island Resort: "Paradise"
We booked for one night as a last minute treat during our stay in Borneo. We were overwhelmed by what we got. We originally booked the cheapest double room, but when we arrived and was shown to our room, even though we were before the check in time, we were flabbergasted that we were given a beach villa over looking the private beach and sea. The room was luxurious, the staff were attentive and our over night stay was romantic. The only problem we encountered was the restaurant staff, who forget to bring us our drinks and the food wasn't that great. Over all a fabulous place for that romantic get away.Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Amazing safari"
We stayed at Noel's Safari for two nights in a family tent (2 adults and 2 kids) and had a great time. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and were absolute experts when it came to the animals and their habitat. We saw so many amazing wild animals and learned so many things about them. Back at the camp, the food was absolutely phenomenal - so delicious and an amazing array of dishes. We all had a fantastic time and would recommend this to any animal lover!!!Jing’s Residence: "Stunning"
An architectural gem--courtyard privacy and elegant spacious public rooms, with grand comfortable bedrooms, a management and wait staff that are friendly, helpful with great suggestions-- amazing hotel by any standardRachamankha: "Another romantic evening"
We come back to this romantic place twice within a week. Always enchanted! We had our Valentine dinner there. Scallops, tiger prawns, fish with Thai herbs, veggie with Myanmar curry, all perfect, accompanied by attentive service and the lotus candle lights. Can't be better!Le Calao: "Superb service, lovely view and delicious dishes."
Can't rate this place highly enough, it was just a perfect evening and that's saying a lot, given how picky I am about service & presentation. Service was attentive and earnest but not overbearing. Food was delicious and well-presented. Wine list was quite sufficient to meet our tastes and the dishes we'd ordered. Finally the view was lovely towards the river, the fairy lights were pretty and the building itself is quite something. We wanted a nice, hassle-free romantic dinner and Le Calao delivered a truly lovely evening.Tugu Lombok: "Perfect honeymoon"
Hotel Tugu is the most perfect location for a relaxed honeymoon. The location is incredible. Beautiful white sandy beaches and warm crystal blue sea. The facilities are great and there's an incredible sense of space. The food is extremely good. We came away knowing we had eaten amazing tasty and healthy food. Above all though the staff at Tugu make it really special. Everyone is happy and friendly and they really cant do enough to make you feel welcome.Rachamankha: "Calm, cool haven. Love"
We loved Chiang Mai and loved our stay at the Rachamankha! The wonderful service began when we were picked up at the airport with ease and check in was a breeze. We were in room 10 which was nice and roomy. We were a little surprised that there wasn't more light in the room-- a bit of a medieval vibe-- but we slept well and after 3 days in Bangkok that's what we needed. The breakfasts were delicious and the grounds were nice and quiet. The pool was wonderful after exploring Chiang Mai and surroundings. It was our 10 year anniversary and the hotel treated us to champagne. Nice touch. We drank it lounging by the pool. The hotel is in walking distance to great temples and fun bars and restaurants. If you want to explore further, the hotel will arrange a Tuk Tuk or taxi to wherever you want to go. Be sure not to miss the night market and all the fun surrounding. I booked this hotel based on the Trip Advisor reviews and I was not disappointed. I pass my review on to the next traveler to Chiang Mai. Stay at the Rachamankha!Sanak Retreat Bali: "Parfait"
"Très belle endroit pour se ressourcer, un lieu paisible, proche de la nature et classe à la fois. Le service est efficace et très sympathique ( accueil, resto, massage et guide) Très très bon moments Merci,"
