We stayed in the village bungalows with our two sons. Room was fantastic, hotel exceptional and staff amazing. Well worth the money. Great position in sanur. "We visited for 7 nights and had a wonderful time. The diving was exceptional. My wife and I have about 80 dives from Fiji, Bali and the Caribbean, so we are experienced but not experts. The dive team was fantastic and the sites themselves were the best we have been to by far. All close by. The resort does much more than talk about ""eco"" . They are dedicated and it shows in almost all that goes on. Food was great, accommodations were comfortable and the staff is very helpful, I went and got a pot of coffee the first morning to bring back to our porch and the next day they brought it to us at 6:30 am. It is not a luxurious, stuffy, place but very comfortable and unique in the world. We had water cabin 5 and I think it would be my choice in the future because it is sheltered from the afternoon sun but my wife thought water cabin 8 would be preferable because it is a little more private ( it gets the sun in the afternoon though) We will go back sometime for sure."Villa Song Saigon: "Super Boutique Hotel"
"We stayed four nights in the Art Suite as a family of four with two younger children over looking the Saigon River - Yaeger and his staff were attentive without being intrusive, always on hand to offer help and suggestions. Villa Song is located in the less hectic District 2 of Saigon and 15/20mins taxi and boat ride into District 1 - most attractions are in District 1 but the enclave of District 2 is also interesting with shops and restaurants (catering to the expat community of the area). We did a Saigon Hotpot city tour (highly recommended) and Saigon Street Eats Seafood Tour amongst other major Saigon attractions. Breakfast was sensational with choice of western and Vietnamese by the water and under umbrellas. Do try their Pho Bo and in luxury settings. Didn't eat dinner there but the chef is amazing and menu looks legit. Front desk staff aim to please service even went out of the way with personal help for a out of normal request - exceptional service. "Manukan Island Resort: "Superb"
Amazing scenery, excellent beach, brilliantly designed tree houses, very good foods and well trained employees. Manukan island has the best beach in the area in terms of soil and snorkelling and this resort makes the experience even better oneDavid’s Kitchen: "Sublime"
I assumed any restaurant in Thailand called David's would be french considering. I was a bit surprised when I met David as he met us at the door. I won't let my expectations ruin yours. He was so delightful on so many levels.But that was was just the meet and greet.The waiting staff were absolutely fantastic. Their english was wonderfu and the service was very very pleasantl. But the food. The food was fantastic.I would have to rate this as one of the best meals of my life. From the moment it starts to the end, everything is just little bits of perfection. Gegrillte rinderhüftsteak mit Huesate ist sehr begeistert mich!(Salat,sauer Karotten,Stern früit,gemischt Gemüse und Reife Bananen in Reis Papier rollen).So amazing! Außerdem das view ist voll natürlich,man kann vier Seiten von Saigon umschauen und Sonnen genießen. Werde mich nochmal kommen,ich bin der Koch auch. What a great surprise this little boutique hotel. All staff absolutely polite and very kind. The Restaurant at the top of the building is a great place to enjoy sunset with a beautiful view of the river just in front of you . Our suite was very spacious with all the amenities available at the bathroom and a unexpected plate of fresh fruits was awaiting for us at the suite. We were offered the suite with a large balcony and seeing the night life of the city from the balcony was an unforgettable experience. Strongly recommend the Nam Bo which is a delicious place to stay at Can ThoSukoon Houseboat: "Perfect place for honeymoon"

"I had a wonderful time during my short stay last week at Tugu Bali. When I return to, I'll certainly be staying again, and this time longer. Tugu Bali a beautiful and authentic hotel with a wonderful staff. I was traveling alone on this trip and I was truly sad my wife didn't get to experience this special hotel with me. From amazing breakfast to even better sunsets, if you're headed to Canggu Bali you want to go here. The experience was truly exceptional and one I will take with me forever... or at least until I return to Tugu."
