Villa Mathis: "Married at La Villa Mathis"
I got married here in 2011. We had checked in late as we had to drop our guests off to another hotel they were staying at. However when we checked in, Bruno had actually called in to see how we were and if we had any question or queries to let him know and he'll be in the following day to meet us (my husband & I). This whole place was amazing! We loved the food and also note that this was our first time to Bali as well. Our room was amazing with alot of room and I loved how we entered and the bath tub was filled with flowers. It did get dark at night as our room was at the bottom and when we would come back from excursions, we would have a guard walk us back to our room but after a night or two we were confident to go on our own. The night before our wedding, I had asked if the ladies from our wedding guests could stay the night and the staff organised rooms quickly for them. Our wedding day, Bruno's wife (sorry I forgot your name! lovely lady) had met up with me to see how I was feeling and making sure everything was getting organised as planned. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our first time to Bali and to have our wedding here was amazing! I would be coming back here hopefully on our fifth year anniversary! Sorry for the late post but thank you La Villa Mathis.4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "A night to remember <3 <3 <3"
"I stayed at 4 rivers three weeks ago but I can still remember how amazing the place is. It was a long drive but when you reached the 4th bridge which the reception is located you will be amazed by the surroundings . I'm typically not a nature lover but when the boat started to pass by the river surrounded by mountains it took my breath away :D When I arrived at the resort the staff and crew gave me a very warm welcome . The resort facilities are outstanding .You’ll get the chance to use the kayak and fishing rod for free. also love the library which has a good collection of books and even board games for kids and kids at heart . The manager (Adonis) is so approachable and very kind not only to the guest but also to his staff. 4 RIVERS is the PERFECT PLACE to unwind and be with nature :D Looking forward on coming back there sooonnnnnnn!!! :D"The Cabochon Hotel and Residence: "Amazing vintage style hotel"
"The hotel is just amazing! The rooms are nice and neat. Air-con is good and the bath tub is just so relaxing!!! The hotel itself is decorated in a vintage style and it is just lovely. The environment is quiet and peaceful. Thinking of a quiet and peaceful holiday escape? This is the place you would want to go to! The staff is very helpful. They show us the neighbourhood and help us to get transportation."Amata Lanna: "Beautiful Amata Lanna"
Amazing staff. Very poilte and helpful. Hotel has bikes to ride to the city and other helpful items such as umbrellas. Hotel is very peaceful and spa like with beautiful wooden features. Delicious breakfast. Well worth the price. Would highly recommend!Supanniga Cruise: "Bangkok dinner cruise"
"The Supanniga experience was outstanding! The food service and ambiance was excellent: well presented, creative and tasty. A lovely intimate evening on the river. Don't waste your time on those huge floating buffet cruises. Review collected in partnership with this attraction "The Cabochon Hotel: "a Heaven in Bangkok"
"it is no doubt my most favorite hotel in the globe. there are anything in here which I expect for shelter escape from daily hard work, nice and beautiful building by style of old era, the high quality amenity , exotic smell from Lemongrass aromatic oil, charm of china ware , beautiful view of orchid flower ,and many many, but the best point for me, a smile , grace , warm coming from all of hotel staffs, it is friendly keeping polite manner . Cabochon it is my home in Bangkok , staffs also my family in Thailand. Room Tip: every rooms are charming , choose it by occasion ,purpose etc"The Island Lodge: "Peak into the Mekong Delta While Sitting in Luxury"
This is a special place, sitting in the middle of the river at the end of an island. It is right in the middle of endless groves of Longan and other fruit trees. The breeze from the river keeps you naturally cool as you enjoy some of the freshly baked goods and/or fresh Vietnamese food. Everything about this place was excellent: rooms, facilities, service, food. Just a couple hours from Saigon, this is a great getaway from the city. Plan to go back often.Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "wonderful place to stay"
A friend and I just had a wonderful 4 night stay in one of the two bedroomed residences in this charming quirky colonial style hotel. It's filled with beautiful things that are either saved over much time or recently acquired by someone with seriously good taste.(...)The staff were friendly and helpful at all times and it was a treat to sit out on the balcony in total peace each morning reading the daily paper and enjoying being looked after with a (complimentary) breakfast before heading into the madness that is Bangkok. This hotel is down a quiet street (ski) in a lovely part of town, so peaceful yet so close to almost everything one needs to see and do.It also has complimentary phones calls to anywhere in the world - I'm a frequent traveller and this is a first for me.Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "There is more to see than leopards"
"An efficient and comfortable campsite in Yala Park. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful and the food prepared is varied and in great quantity at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The location of the meal moves around the camp, so there is always a new view. There seems to be almost as much wildlife in and around the camp as there is in the park, with water monitors below the walkways, all kinds of birdlife in the bushes and trees and elephants visiting to the edge of the camp. We visited blocks 1 and 5 and yes, we did see a couple of leopards in block 5, but for me the glory was the stunning birdlife and incredible scenery of block 1. An excellent 2-3 night break. Room Tip: Go for the luxury tent (tusker) if you can."Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "A gem of a hotel"
Beautiful quiet resort not far from the liveliness of Chaweng. A very personal service from the best staff ever, who used our first names. Great breakfast & fabulous food, especially the set menu on Weds.
