NOEL RODRIGO’S LEOPARD SAFARIS: "Happy memories for life"
"Warmest of welcomes to the campsite from Dhanu and the crew Superb accomodation combining outdoors and luxury The best food we ate (and we had a lot to compare to!) in fantastic setting outdoors with just the right amount of background to the ingredients. We were also made to feel very special as it was our honeymoon And of course, what we came for was the safari and it far exceeded expectations. Not only were we lucky enough to see a leopard, but we were given so much time and care to ensure we got the big picture and could enjoy the breathtaking wildlife and scenery We will be talking about this short trip for days!! Thank you "Neeleshwar Hermitage: "For the rest of your life"
"""For the rest of your life"" is quite a claim. We were both frazzled and so it was an easy claim to sign up for. Neeleshwar Hermitage totally delivered. The setting on the edge of the Arabian Sea is pretty special: for miles and miles of sandy beach and the rhythm of the waves wherever you are, enjoying yoga, breakfast at the beach restaurant or the infinity pool that looks out over the sea. The Ayurvedic Spa is where the relaxation really delivers with the spa team providing the best massages and treatments totally restoring mind, body, and spirit which were far from balanced on arrival. Having warm oil gently running on my forehead took me gently into a very deep sleep. The detox package we had opted for prescribed vegetarian food which Is not my usual menu, but the North Kerala recipes mixing spices and herbs were excellent. The whole experience was delivered by a delightful team throughout the resort. Sadly we had to leave after our allotted week and did so in a very different state than when we arrived. ""For the rest of your life"" indeed. "Le Calao: "Lovely place, delicious food"
Oh yes, and a great spot, excellent cocktails and perfect service. We’re just back from a wonderful dinner there, and very pleased. We had exclusively Lao food, and loved it. Good luck with the new endeavor.Rachamankha: "Real and Unique Lanna"
"The hotel was very nice with the unique Lanna combining with Chinois design and decoration. The place is clean, serene and peaceful. Just like i was walking in another world and time paused. The staffs were so helpful and gave me very warm welcome. The hotel is located behind Phra Singh temple where is the heart of old city area in central Chiang Mai. It's very to promenade the cultural sight-seeing. Also it's very easy to go to Sunday weekend market for your intersting Thai and handcrafted arts snd souvenirs. If i have a chance, i surely go back to stay here."Cuca: "Deserves 2 Michelin stars – Outstanding"
"We had a fantastic culinary experience at Cuca. The flavours, textures, aromas and presentation were an impressive mix. The staff were very atentative and their product knowledge was amazing. We sat at the bar watching the Chefs work which brought back memories for me. We liked how different people brought us our dishes - Chefs and our waitress, who explained what we were about to enjoy. As recommended we choose 6 tapas style dishes which was just enough for both of us to feel full and not left hungry. The choice is well balanced and it was difficult to choose which 6 dishes to enjoy, saying that we couldn't resist trying 2 of their desserts too!! We don't normally take dessert but on this occasion we really enjoyed the Bali breakfast and their ice cream dish with 98% coco mass organic chocolate ganash just made for them. Their brigade is headed up by an energetic Canadian Chef called Kevin Cherkas who I would pair with Heston Blumenthal using modern techniques to improve your culinary experience. So we liked it so much we are going to return to enjoy a different 6 dishes and another culinary journey at Cuca. "Tugu Lombok: "Lovely paradise"
Went here one weekend for lunch and to stroll around the place. The moment walked in I fell in love with the beauty and serenity of this place. Food was also good and well cooked. Everything about this hotel is lovely. Perfect for a quiet get away.Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Perfect peace and relaxation"
"After a hectic 2 week tour in India and Nepal this was a perfect place to relax and unwind before returning to UK. Perched on the top of a steep hill the location is amazing with fantastic views over the Annapurna mountain range and down into the Pokhara valley. One didn't mind getting up at 0545 to watch the sun rise over the mountain range, having been woken by the staff with a pot of tea delivered to the room. At the other end of the day sit on the terrace with tea and home made cakes and biscuits to watch the sun set over the mountains. In between very knowledgeable nature guides cater for all abilities with short or long walks bird and butterfly spotting. Alternatively, relax by the infinity pool gazing across to the mountains. Simple but well cooked and presented food with choice between Nepalese or Continental with most of the food grown locally or on site. All waiter served, hot and fresh from the kitchen. Tea and coffee with home made cake and biscuits on tap whenever you want. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and could not do enough for you. Marcus, the manager took the time to meet and get to know all the guests. It was such a shame that I only had 3 nights there, I would have liked to spend so much longer and experience more nature walks. Fantastic"Sandat Glamping Tents: "Stupendo"
"Struttura meravigliosa , immerso all'interno delle risaie . Entrando nel sandat sembra di entrare in un mondo zen , tranquillità , pace e meraviglia ! Sono stati 4 giorni stupendi abbiamo conosciuto Buda una ragazzo fantastico e simpatico come il resto del personale ! Consiglio di visitare la città con un autista della struttura praticamente un escursione privata ( ovviamente dovete sapere l' inglese) . Stupendo Stayed September 2016, traveled as a couple"Satri House: "Perfection"
"We loved this small hotel only a ten minute walk in to town to reach the start of the night market. It is full of wonderful artefacts and curios and lovely nooks with comfy seating to curl up with a book. The junior suite we occupied was wonderful with a fabulous shower and bath and separate w.c.. The two swimming pools were lovely each with its own character. Sweet and comfy bar available and we thought the restaurant was good although we mostly ate in town. Delicious breakfasts. Charming service. The hotel was very helpful organising reservations in local restaurants too. Could have stayed much longer and definitely will return to this haven if we come back to Laos."Rachamankha: "Secluded heaven"
This hotel is wonderful. Although Chiang Mai is nothing like Bangkok in terms of traffic it is Thailand's second largest city and can be very busy in places. This hotel in the old town is down a really quiet street yet you can walk to the temples, shopping areas etc very easily. It is beautiful - you can tell that it has been designed by architects. The staff are helpful and polite. The whole place exudes calm. Our room was lovely and the pool area is just stunning and never seems to be that busy. Breakfast was fantastic and we ate there one night and had a great dinner too. I would definitely stay here again when in Chiang Mai.
