Tugu Lombok: "Hotel o museo ????"

Review by: buby p | Source: Trip Advisor
Brava , bravissima Hanny , Elly e tutto il personale ! Grazie"

Sukoon Houseboat: "A special and memorable experience"

Review by: Chris B | Source: Trip Advisor
"Even before we stepped aboard people we met were in awe of Sukoon. It is held in such high regard. The staff are exceptional and go out of their way to please and cater for your every need. We relaxed upstairs on the roof where tea and delicious homemade biscuits were served. Once you have pre-ordered the choice for dinner, it is bought locally and cooked to order in the evening. Delicious. The rooms were extraordinary with their rich wood carving and offered every modern convenience. A most memorable and special experience."

The Island Lodge: "Excellent River-front Boutique Resort!"

Review by: LamNguyenHP | Source: Trip Advisor
Stayed for one night, very nice hand-made decoration everywhere. Long swimming pool. The room is spacious and convenient. Very quite. Exclusive feeling. The Owner and the staff are wonderful. Ms. Ngoc was willing to help for even any smallest details. Highly recommended!.

Tugu Malang: "Great stay"

Review by: Ajiijic | Source: Trip Advisor
"I stayed here recently for three nights over the weekend and really enjoyed my stay. The staff were wonderful and helpful especially Lina and M. and John. Even though the hotel purposely appears older, it's actually a much younger building but they do a good job scattering antiques and various Java artifacts around the hotel giving the grounds and public areas a venerable appearance. The bar is especially charming and interesting and even serves decent wine by the glass; not so easy to find in Java. Wifi worked well and afternoon tea was a nice touch. The location is quite close to the train station and also faces a scenic park where frequent cultural events take place. There are several restaurants nearby and the hotel restaurant is prob the best in the city. A nice coffee shop across the street called Java Dancer was also worth a visit. Stayed May 2016, travelled solo"

The Island Lodge: "The perfect oasis of calm and relaxation"

Review by: wineguru_12 | Source: Trip Advisor
This hotel really is a gem, yes the rooms are lovely, the pool is delightful, and the setting overlooking the Mekong is second to none, but the real quality of the island lodge is in it's staff. The owner personally greets each guest, and the Vietnamese staff, from the manageress to the security guard were all friendly, and incredibly helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast is excellent and the lunch and dinner menu is varied. Prices are relatively high for Vietnam, but not for a hotel of this class. If I had one suggestion, it would be to add a snack or sandwich menu to the food options, there are no alternative restaurants nearby, and sometimes we wanted to just eat something light by the pool.

Manukan Island Resort: "10 idyllic days in paradise"

Review by: juniorBrighton | Source: Trip Advisor
"Hillside villas: fantastic, bright, airy, separate bedroom and lounge, satellite tv incl movies, huge bathroom with waterfall tap over bath, good warm showers, lovely little touches like slippers, bathrobes, 2 complimentary waters, 2 cokes, and 2 sprites per day. For cheaper and no steps the beach suites are newly renovated, very nice, a couple of minutes walk from the private beach area, 5 minutes walk max from restaurant, view nice but is on edge of busy public beach. Wi-fi was assigned to each room and worked all the time for me. 27 rooms/villas total now. Beach: We stayed on private beach for 10 days - wow! Gorgeous, soft white sand and lovely warm sea, palm trees full of coconuts, views of the rainforest, sunsets, monitor lizard takes a nightly swim. The beach is cleaned immaculately daily. But the seabed does need to be cleaned more from odd bits of rubbish - we mentioned to Ben, the Manager, who is talking with Sabah Parks about it. It did NOT put us off sea swimming. Facilities: huge varied breakfast outside with fans, we had all meals outside with fans - perfect, even on the beach! 16 choices on the menu but Joey the chef made a different vegetarian menu for me every night, at a very good price, our maximum bills were 65MR pp for huge buffet , most meals were less than this, even with starters. We spent under £300 for the 10 nights on food and drink! A bargain. Alcohol expensive, as per Borneo. This is indicative of the personalised service at Manukan - everything is possible, just ask! Quiet bar, pool area very quiet but nice, small parties come for an evening meal from the mainland some nights. 3 piece acoustic & bass band serenade you every night too. Staff: EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE. Friendly, not intrusive, really care about all the clients and their happiness. Small and informal with very high standards of cleanliness and service. Thank you Ben, Welther, Joey, Sabre, Frederick, Yazid, Shima, Jessica, the new Mazilla, Nora, the band,.... The monitor lizards are safe and lovely to watch, hardly any spiders at all, but we used lots of deet against the mosquitoes (not too bad) and sand flies. There are mosquito plug-ins in the villa and a coil is lit at the evening turn-down service so you can continue to sit on the balcony at night. Things to do: we went on a day trip to Kota Kinabalu to see the City Mosque and do some shopping in one of the malls. Management and reception will arrange a boat at a good price 65 mr pp return (£13) or you can use the public one, slightly cheaper. It is only 10 minutes. From Manukan - There are watersports - thankfully they go offshore so it is not noisy, the sea-walking looked amazing, trips to other islands, snorkelling trips (there are not many fish jsut off the beach in comparison to the Maldives but other guests said the 3 island trip was good for fish). Cafe and shop run independently too if you need, but Manukan also sells the necessities, toiletries, drinks, crisps, beer in their shop too. A longer stay, 10 nights, allowed us to really appreciate this island. We had been to Sepilok Sanctuaries and also Turtle island before and were glad to have such peace in magical surroundings. Our memories will last forever. Do not hesitate to ask questions. Jayne and Mark"

The Hue House: "Delicious food and nice atmosphere"

Review by: oliverAustralia | Source: Trip Advisor
This restaurant is only about a four minutes walk from the M Gallery Arts Hotel. The food was tasty and a little different from the Southern cuisine. We really enjoyed the experience and it was also very reasonable. Top marks to the chef and the waiting staff.

Tugu Bali: "Beachside Balinese Bliss"

Review by: Sharper28 | Source: Trip Advisor
We wanted to spend sometime on the beach in Bali before heading inland and our stay at Tugu was exactly what we had hoped for and more! Within close reach of nearby cafes and beach clubs for surfing and drinks; the hotel is beautifully decorated, well maintained and has an authentic Balinese style. Canggu is a much quieter beach location than Kuta and Seminyak and the waves are more suitable for beginners. The service was superb, our room was beautiful with a massive comfy bed and the food was amongst the best I have ever eaten. I cannot stress enough how good the breakfast was!! Yum! Whilst the location was a bonus for us, it is important to note that it is in a bustling area and as such you can hear some noise on a weekend. The spa services are on the expensive side and pretty average, but this didn’t bother us too much as the food and everything else was so reasonably priced. The free Balinese dance night was our favourite evening in Bali and the staff were all so friendly and helpful, we would recommend to others and come back in a heartbeat!
