MesaStila: "Super attentive staff!"
"I rarely write a review for hotels but MesaStila definitely deserves an excellent review! You can read others' review about the breathtaking views and comfortable villas but here i want to praise the staff for how attentive they are! I lost a ring there and just realized it after i left MesaStila and arrived in Semarang. So i called them and i didn't even ask them to look for my ring (because it's very silly to bother the staffs to look for a ring in a 22 hectares estate), i only told them that i lost my ring and just in case anyone sees it, i would appreciate if they let me know, so i left my number. An hour after that, they called me and they said they looked everywhere and found my ring on a floor at the club house! I don't even know how they managed to find it but they did, and they couriered it to me the next day. Can you believe... Would totally recommend MesaStila for everyone, especially for those who often left their stuffs at hotels ;)"The River Resort: "Perfect Accommodation"
My husband and I stayed there for 4 nights whilst touring through Laos. It has the perfect location being situatyed n the Mekong River. From 5pm to 7pm cocktails are cheaper. The service and the food was excellent. You could even eat down in the garden although a little dark with dim lighting but still very nice.Samanea Beach Resort: "It’s gorgeous place!"
Manager who was very kindly friendly with their guests. The room look like older but seems to be based traditional structure of the local citizen. The outside bathroom is definitely a unique feature. The resort was very silence that you could heard some songs from insects in night time hi hi hi. The beach that where you maybe swim but watch sunrise or sunset then that is a great experience. The long wharves that made me better feeling as on the sea by my foot. The food was so good. There are not many rooms in this resort with their large site, almost of them for tree, swimming pool. With kindly noted, the resort must control better against mosquito. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay.Slow Villas and Spa: "So well thought"
"This place is extraordinary. We stayed for 4 nights. We are a family of 4, 2 adults and an almost 5 yr and an almost 2 yr old. We stayed in the 1 room villa with a baby cod. The almost 5 yr old slept in the big bed with us. Not ideal but it was ok. Slow did offer a separate additional bed for the 5 yr old but it would have taken up quite some space, leaving almost none left. We would go back anytime and even stay as we did of that is the only option. Indoor outdoor melts together when sliding up the 3 big glass doors facing the pool. The garden is big and leaves you with the impression that it could have been smaller without reducing your feeling of it being spacious. The bath room is outdoors. Nicely build and designed as the rest."Rak Ko Jae Seoul: "Traditional Exotic Hotel Perfect Location"
"My son (16) and I stayed in this traditionally styled hotel. We were seeking a 'real Korean experience' and that is what we received during our stay and didn't want to be stuck in a western hotel. We chose traditional style bedding but could have selected western style and they would have switched beds. We chose western style breakfasts and they were first class (complimentary). My son looked forward to breakfast everyday. Our washing was done everyday (complimentary), fridge in room with 4xdrinks (complimentary each day), wifi (complimentary). Aircon was fine as was the bathroom, perhaps a bit tricky for elderly to get into the bath/shower if not so nimble - we had no issues! The hotel owner Mr Kim and his staff met all our needs and requests in an instant. Only 4 or 5 groups of guests at anytime and they all received the same level of service. The hotel is just a few hundred metres from the subway, airport bus and very close to all the main tourist areas (although study map before to be sure of directions - we used iPhone maps rather than google maps as it was superior). Tourist information centres were in each tourist district and near our the subway. We ate vegetarian (and fish) and preferred to eat in Japanese styled restaurants when Korean food got a little complicated or just meat/spicy. The hotel is not far from a few 'local styled' supermarkets that are in the main tourist strip in the adjacent street/lane nearby with all the restaurants and lots of tourists. Just one of many tourist options in the vicinity. We stayed 5 nights but I think we could have achieved a great insight into Seoul in 3 or at most 4 nights max."4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Relaxing break after siem Reap"
"Lovely break after the heat of the temples. About 4-5 hours trip by car from Phnom Penh but worth the journey From the welcome drink on arrival to the staff coming to the jetty to wave us goodbye when we left it was a great few days. Lovely staff and great food. The tents are very large and very well fitted out. (Nothing like the tents I remember from girl guiding)We had intended to go to the waterfall but it was so relaxing sitting on our deck watching the river we did not bother but everyone else really enjoyed the trip. We had a massage which was very reasonable, ask for the gentle version!!! The staff were lovely my husband has mobility problems and everyone was really helpful If you visit Cambodia and have the time visit Four Rivers you will have a great time"Blackitch Artisan Kitchen: "Great evening! great dinner"
"David takes pride in his small restaurant, making everything from scratch, you can see a lot of what he is working on on shelves next to the walls. Not only did we have an excellent 10 course meal - which was fairly priced considering the care and dedication that he put in, but he made sure to call us a cab (himself!) and make sure we got off in the direction of our hotel...."THE SAMAR: "Idyllic oasis perfect recovery for Angkor wat visitors"
We visited Cambodia for the sole purpose of seeing the historic and amazing Angkor wat sites. Thankfully we chose a gem of a hotel in the Samar. This is the perfect hidden gem, it is an oasis of peace and tranquility, and a unique boutique hotel. The hotel is of a high standard, with friendly helpful staff who can arrange your trips and ensure your stay is excellent. The pool is quiet and essential to aid recovery from the heat and busyness of visiting popular historic sites. Food was excellent with prompt service when required to catch your transport for touring. Rooms were clean, comfortable, peaceful and unique making your stay special. This is definitely a luxury hotel where you are made to feel special with excellent service and standards. This is a perfect special place to stay and I would definitely recommend it and will definitely return.Tugu Bali: "Beautiful hotel. Great service"
We spent 2 nights at the hotel for our honeymoon at the incredible Puri Le Mayeur suite...which was essentially a single-story house that has its foundation lying over a pretty lotus pond. The suite itself was huge (probably much more than the 2 of us needed)--but we made the most of it! The staff provided top-notch service from beginning to end, from welcome drinks to breakfast in our rooms. We also received a 15-20 minute "welcome massage" at the spa, and frequented the private plunge pool in our room! The hotel itself also has a very nice pool. The hotel provides ocean-views from many of its rooms (the view from the Puri suite was a partial, but still breathtaking), as well as from the common areas. There is a bar at the hotel itself, as well as many restaurants. Regarding the food, the breakfast we ordered to our rooms (Indonesian breakfast) was so delicious that we ordered it again! We also did the "dinner in bed" for our Christmas honeymoon night! The dinner took place on the hotel's lawn, which overlooks the ocean and provides an unparalleled view of the sunset all while being served drinks, food, and dessert. Overall it was a relaxing stay and the perfect place for a romantic getaway.Villa Mathis: "GEM IN PARADISE"
Everything from team reception, through spa trials, surounding gardens, restaurants, was a dream. Coctails weere impressive and delicious, food once for lunch and onece for dinner was outstanding. The decoration is amazing and comfortable, very cozy at same time. Pity being on biz trip that I dint have much more time to enjoy full relaxation apart from a candle treatment which was very cool and efficiently relaxing at the spa. I'll be back
