Muang La Lodge: "formidable"

Great room overlooking the river. Magnificent bathroom. Raphael and Mathilde are enough for their guests. high-end kitchen, we feasted. The activities are very interesting, beautiful walks in the forest, great track for minority ethnic groups and the descent of the river Nam Ouh is superb. Dream stay at this property which employs people from surrounding villages.

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Great trip – high school principal and a few students"

"I am the principal of an international school in Phnom Penh. Our school collaborated with 4Rivers to raise funds for a school they are sponsoring near 4Rivers, so we were invited out to see it. First of all, the area is great, and lovely fresh air. All of the staff at 4Rivers were very attentive with no communication difficulties. The rooms were positively luxurious, especially considering we were just floating on a river. Beds were very comfortable, everything was prompt, food was delicious. I had a great time relaxing and would recommend it to anyone. Only downside is the sketchy internet, but they make that abundantly clear on the website, so bring a book! It's not really within the hotel's control, anyway, as it has to do with coverage in the area."

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Fantastic!"

"We had a wonderful time at the resort. Beautiful setting, gorgeous views, excellent service and delicious food every day. Best place for relaxing including great Ayurveda treatments. Highly recommendable! Hermann&Monika Neumann"

The Village House: "Great great Staff and Hotel out of Kuching"

"We stayed at village house for 3 night for the ester week end. First the place is charming, tastily decorated and the room and bathroom are really clean. But the second point and what made this stay so great was the service and the staff! A big thank you to Alifa, Flora and Eleesa for taking such a good care of us! Great advice and help to visit around Santubong village and some talk about the culture of Borneo. And a big congrats to the Chef (that call him just a cook, you should not when you are serving a 8 course menu ...) really talented and worth paying more than the Food court few km from the hotel (by the way run away from damai beach resort). So to sum up, definitely a place that i recommend 100%, great for a week end gateway from Singapore or as a step into your travel in Asia! "

Reverie Siam: "All you need to relax in style"

"I stayed here with my wife for 3 nights and must say that it was a very pleasant experience. From beginning to end excellent service and very good professional staff/personel. It's a retro style resort with a tasty tappas restaurant. Good bartenders and the food is excellent and fresh. We felt very welcome and the breakfast is the best we had in Thailand. 2 dishes to choose from and fresh juice and good coffee. And refills all the time! The room was perfect, bed was big and comfortable. Fresh bottles of water and fresh towels every day. Swimmingpool is nice and calm. Free transport to center of Pai (fun in the evening). Also good live music at the river bar and in the restaurant. The whole experiance is great and relaxed. That's the holiday feeling! Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"

Villa Song Saigon: "Best staycation"

River view, love garden, boutique pool, and of course must mention the beautiful villa where accommodate 10+ rooms in colonial designs. We stayed in 3 different types of rooms at Villa Song & all have its own uniqueness.

Manda De Laos: "Amazing restaurant"

This is the most beautiful restaurant that we've been. Very nice set up with a beautiful garden. Relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. The food is so delicious and tasty with traditional flavor.

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Too bad there are no 6 star ratings"

"We stayed at 4 Rivers for a week, and wish we could have stayed for a month. As the boat arrives and the machine is turned off, you look around and you know you are going to spend an incredible time. This place is like no other: not only it has reached perfection in service, style, cleanliness and comfort, but also it allows you to rest and relax while appreciating all the beauties of the region. Yet the most exceptional thing about this resort is the staff. They have been caring, extraordinary helpful from the beginning until the very last moments. We cannot thank you enough for what you've done… but we'll try ;) First, thank you Bona for giving us the warmest greeting, making sure to explain everything, and taking on board with us to the resort (plus, your cocktails are delicious). Then, a big thanks to the tour guides, Vy, Sambo and Naren, you are great people and the funniest guys. Thank you to the restaurant team, Kenneth and E-J, you were adorable and always smiling. Thank you Adonis for your constant good mood, your big smile and your fun personality. Last but not least, thank you Anna for your precious time and for being the most amazing encounter we had in Cambodia. Satri House: "serene-gem-with asian art and antiques and large rooms among asian gardens"

This property is a gem. It is close enough to town to walk yet far enough to provide quiet in a hidden beautifully decorated (with art and antiques) colonial landmarked property. The service was sublime - and I wish I could have just stayed for a few more days - or moved in..... The pool is set among the gardens - and the rooms are large, clean, and the decor makes one feel as if you are staying in a prince's palace. This is the opposite of a large cold global branded hotel. Thank you to Satri House for a fantastic holiday.

Rachamankha: "a superb accommodation in CM"

"We held our wedding and stayed at this beautiful property last month. We have booked two suite rooms facing the library garden (if you know where the hidden library is) and a few superior rooms. Our family and guests loved the peaceful and oriental ambience of the property. Located in the old city, waling distance to Wat Pra Singh, Oasis Spa Lanna and Sunday night market. only 10-15mins drive to the airport. If you would like to stay away heavy touristy area and would like to enjoy the resort indulgence and retreat, this could be an option. If anyone is also considering a destination wedding at non-beach location in Thailand, highly recommended!! The hotel does not offer a package but will customise according to your needs and preference. We would like to thank you for Rachamankha to have made our big day successful and memorable! We would love to visit and stay on our anniversary day again! Please note that the hotel does not allow a child under 12 years though. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"
