4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Floating Paradise in the Jungle – Outstanding Service and Amazing Location"
"There are so many wonderful things about this hotel; the location, the staff, the activities, the atmosphere…. (…)The rooms are beautiful – poshest tent I have ever stayed in, and it really is floating – you can feel a gentle movement at night time and when people walk past – which I really liked. The people that work at the hotel and as trip guides are all mostly all from the local island opposite and surrounding village area which gave the whole experience a real charm. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful - it really was a perfect paradise. The hotel manager arranged our transport back to Phomn Penh for us (we opted for a shared VIP bus on the way back - which was $15 each and took about 5 hours). One of the members of staff waited with us in Tatai village until the mini bus arrived and loaded our bags etc… - truly exceptional and helpful service. One of the main highlights has to be waking up and diving straight into the river from your personal deck and also kayaking around the islands! This is an incredible experience not to be missed! "Misool Eco Resort: "Paradise Found"
"After learning of Misool almost four years ago, we had a dream come true when we visited in June 2015. Misool is one of the few places on earth where the natural world has largely been untouched by man and is now being protected from any further degradation. It is as close as any of us can come to paradise above and below water. It is worth every minute of the long journey to reach it. This resort is primarily focused on diving because of the unmatched marine diversity in the Raja Ampat islands. But there is excellent snorkeling on the house reef (which is very accessible and teaming with fish) as well as at sites very close by. We were very fortunate to have Bram as our dive master on all dives. He listened carefully and did an excellent job on finding the pygmy seahorses, nudibranchs, crabs, giant clams and a wide variety of fish we hoped to see. He was always patient and always very helpful. We were very fortunate to have dived with only the two of us on every dive. In addition, we had to opportunities to snorkel with Herry, Ferry and Daddy in the house reef and other reefs nearby with our non-diver family member and other guests. Each was an excellent guide always attuned to our requests. Among the many positives to this resort is the quality of the Dive Center staff which helped our stay exceed our expectations for our dives and snorkeling excursions. (...) We are very honored to have visited Misool and will always carry great memories of the location and the staff. We hope that we can return to Misool again. It is paradise and is the most peaceful place that we have ever visited."Rachamankha: "Pearl of Chiang Mai"
A beautiful hotel. Tucked away in its more hectic surroundings of Chiang Mai. Rachamankha gives you the opportunity to step away into a very peaceful and tranquil environment. Surrounded by Chinese antique and great architecture it is easy to feel at home. The swimmingpool is clean, well maintained and again well designed. There is a library to dive into the background of Rachamankha's lay out, its design and architecture. The staff, so helpful, generous, professional and friendly. They even sent us - in no time - our daughters' birthday presents we forgot in the hotel room. High quality service, great food and better wine, a delight. We don't like to visit the same place twice, but this hotel will be the exception.CABOCHON: "The Friendliest place in BKK"
"I do not have enough words for how much I liked this hotel. I was traveling alone with a 10 month old baby (something that can be a bit hard from time to time as you have noone to share the work with). At Cabochon we had a great shelter to return to from the busy streets. Even though I love the whole style of this hotel I still think that the team is what makes it really really special. They are genuine friendly and independent and cared so much for us. Everyone is child friendly. I was able to arrange babysitting with them to go to a spa one evening. On top of this they have a great restaurant attached to the hotel which I can highly recommend. Since everyone wanted to play with my son I was also able to enjoy a peaceful dinner on my own which was quite nice. Breakfast is a treat and you can choose from a selection of breakfast types. We enjoyed an asian breakfast and it was my favourite on this journey. Apart from this the hotel is just beautiful and has a calm and cool colonial flair in the middle of the hot and dirty city. We enjoyed our stay at Cabochon so much that I can not praise this hotel enough! "Heritage Suites Hotel: "Incredible genuineness, a real gem!"
The Heritage came up in almost list of top boutique hotels to stay at in Cambodia, so I knew it would be a good choice. Getting picked up at the airport in a vintage Mercedes was amazing, such a great way to start off the experience. Having the adventure company in the hotel helped a lot, they organised 3 customised tours for me which were all equally amazing. All three were well worth it. I stayed in the Orchid suite, which I could of hid in during my entire stay and would of been really happy, the steam room was a pleasant surprise. Had breakfast and two dinners at the hotel which was also very good. The thing that left such an impression on me was the staff. There was this incredible genuineness to everyone I met. The hotel supports Sala Baï, a hospitality school for young underprivileged Cambodians, which they also helped organise a visit to. Heritage helps train and hire students from the school and offers them placement at the hotel, with everyone I met there, especially the students coming from Sala Bai, there was this genuine pride in working in hospitality and at the Heritage. As a guest you felt not only very welcomed, but that you also contributed to giving back to the community and not just taking from it. Kudos to the entire team at Heritage. I work in travel and hospitality and can honestly say this is one of the most unique and best offerings I’ve come across. I can’t wait to visit again.Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Wonderful beach haven"
Returned after visiting last year.Every bit as good if not better. The location on the beach is idyllic. The rooms in bungalows are outstanding. The staff go out of their way to look after you. The food is delicious. We went on 2 excursions- the hotel house boat and a local village tour- both excellent. The pool is lovely .We intend to return!Mie Cafe: "One of our favorites in Siem Reap"
We had lunch three times at this wonderful restaurant. It was critiqued in an article by Lawrence Osborne at saver.com, and what a find it was. We loved the tuna tartare with mango, the stuffed ravioli, grilled eggplant with pork, the mango passionfruit sorbet, and a chocolate cake to die for. Also their iced lattes are delicious.Tugu Lombok: "Magical – Inspiring – Spiritual Almost."
"This was a trip we took with the family. One big room for my sisters and me and the rents in another. The place, from the minute you walk in you are greeted by kind staff, and the door grabs young transports you to another time! The little things like going in at night and preparing your room is just one of those things that make the trip extra special. By the second day they know how you like your tea, what your child wants, and how you take your eggs. If you are looking for a true eco-touristic place that is honest about what it presents, this is the place! There is so much more than a simple hotel! Its a true experience!"Sea Dance Resort: "Excellent resort."
Sea dance is a beatiful intimate resort. If you want to relax in a nice comfortable cottage away from the noisy tourist areas of Ko Samui this is the place for you. Ideally located, a short drive from the airport and a short drive to the best beaches, shops and nightlife but in a very quiet setting. The ideal place to relax and unwind. The customer service is excellent. All the staff are trying their best to make you feel at home. We will definitely stay there again on a next visit to Samui.Supanniga Luxury Bangkok River Cruises: "Just beautiful!"
Top Service, very good and sufficient Thai Food, the view is beautiful. We enjoyed this nearly perfect Cruise very much and can recommend it. Very familiar athmosphere.
