Samanea Beach Resort: "Wonderful setting"
We stayed for 4 nights, and could not fault it, the staff were friendly and helpful, Jonathan one of the hotel managers was very helpful in his knowledge of Kep and the surrounding area. We only ate one evening meal in the restaurant but it was exceptional and the choice of breakfast menus good. The restaurant and bar staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was fantastic and we loved the bathroom. We came in each day to a clean room with fresh towels everyday. Even down to the security at the hotel entrance all the staff were very friendly. The setting was lovely and peaceful, and the grounds kept in tip top condition. Lovely to walk along the pier at sunset. We could not fault this hotel and I would highly recommend it.Talabgaon Castle: "fantastically beautiful place"
We stayed in the hotel in March 2016 with friends. it is absolutely awesome place, the building of the hotel unimaginable beauty, vast numbers itself, a large area, the silence all around, a large outdoor pool with a mini-waterfall and fountains nearby, peacocks walk, chipmunks running around, there are stables and a golf polo. I liked very much. Clean, quiet, the staff is calm, friendly, home, too. Atmospheric and quiet.Supanniga Luxury Bangkok River Cruises: "A ‘must do’ — Incredible food, with a beautiful view."
"This was my first visit to BKK, and I had heard Supanniga was one of the best Thai restaurants in the city and was high on my list. What a wonderful day when we discovered that they offered a Cruise! The cruise itself is very tasteful — comfortable seating, cool music and excellent service. The views were wonderful; it was such a great way to experience the city. But the food! I don’t eat meat, but ate along side meat eaters and I was served a beautiful and flavourful vegetarian menu of home-style Thai food! Completely full to the brim by the end of service, we sat on the pillow-filled lounge at the front of the boat to digest our dinner and soak up the scenery over a few glasses of champagne! Would highly recommend."4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Serenity at its best!"
I stayed at 4 Rivers for 3D/2N and it was really an extraordinary experience! Going to 4 Rivers was a long drive yet it was worth it! During our night time check in, my partner and I were able to see the adorable fireflies! They are so plenty that they look like Christmas lights! They are stunning and shines like a star. Though it is raining during my stay, it was a wonderful time to relax and leave the stress and get refreshed with the outstanding view of mountains and trees plus the friendly staff and Adonis who’s very attentive with our needs. I also want to give cheers to the Chef for the most unforgettable Crème Caramel I tasted during dinner! How I wish I could eat and bring home the whole piece! It is so delicious that I can’t resist to eat! Memorable experience, soothing ambiance, charming staff and thoughtful managers, appetizing food – perfecto!Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "A Wonderful Wildlife Safari ro remember forever"
"We were a big family comprising 3 generations, mostly inexperienced campers plus one passionate elephant keeper/ animal conservationist,,and we arrived to a warm welcome which included delicious cold drinks and towels. Very welcome after a long drive from Ella .Right from the start of my research into a safari into Yala NP over a year ago, I had a special feeling that this safari was going to be a huge highlight of our big family trip to Sri Lanka. Wonderful pre trip communication with Sophie and Noel, and then we met Sajit, Praneeth , Damien and the rest of the wonderful team. Our great, comfortable tents ( I could even use the outdoor shower at first go ), delicious, varied food. We had 3 picky children, a 15 yr old vegan and all the rest, and we loved ALL the food. Great get togethers in the communal areas, with those G&Ts and Tiger beer. What can I say about the fantastic expertise of Sajit and his team. We learnt about animal alarm calls, Sajit provided us with a priceless example of using them to spot a glorious leopard in the fading dusk light. Of course when you go on safari you hope to see the prized animals, and we sure did, but we also learnt about the expertise and experience required to locate these majestic creatures. We also loved the colourful birds, mongoose, jackals , peacocks and the stunning varied landscapes. 2 dawn safaris, 2 dusk safaris, a bear, elephants, numerous deer, families of monkeys, and miraculously a few sightings of leopards. An experience of a lifetime, We Thank you All from the bottom of our hearts, A true highlight of our trip, and we hope to return and have recommended you to family and friends. Kind Regards from Jennifer, Juris and family. Room Tip: The best safari tents, great beds and very adequate amenities."Slow Villas and Spa: "An absolute treatment"
"Staying at Slow Villas is such an experience ! I've been lucky enough to spend a few days there - and that was definitely too short. The villas are beautiful, solid construction, tastefully decorated, spacious, clean. The open air bathroom is beautiful, and the private swimming pool just in front of the bedroom is great, and even I didn't think it was really useful at Gili Air (the sea is less than 10 minutes away along a cute pathway), it's nice to cool off a bit that easily. Plus, breakfasts are awesome ! And the spa, God ! Clean, spacious rooms, a great choice of treatments to choose from, a professional service that considers your expectations and level of habit in massage, people are treating you with such a sweet care and a good professionalism at the same time, such a treatment ! The staff is so lovely as well, from Julie to her partners and all the team working on making you have such a great experience. No hesitation here : if you can afford it, even for 2 days, that will stay engraved in your memory for a loooong time ! Stayed April 2017, traveled as a couple"4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "A piece of paradise"
"I discovered a wild place, where nature and silence seem like paradise. Large and confortable rooms so well integrated in the nature, without hurting it. My stay was so enjoyable : place is very clean, confortable, and staff so attentive and friendly. I enjoyed relaxation, water, fine food and wines, all these brought together by the kind and competent managers Anna and Valentin, dedicated to their customers. I will return for sure, temptation is not a sin !"Manda De Laos: "Be cautious"
"First of all the place is lovely, set around 3 Lilly ponds. At night the lights are magical.try and book a pond side booth or table. The food: the portions are very large, the menu tempting but try not to over order. Food highlights: the Luang Prabang salad with Scott egg( a perfect one plate lunch in itself.the tanguy duck was perfectly cooked but the tarmarind sauce could have been richer. The pork and watercress soup was devine. Service was spot on and the new French manager was delightful. Budget on 850,000 for 2 with wine water and service Perfect for a romantic dinner/ celebration"Villa Song Saigon: "Amazing stay"
"No more to say. Just stay there. The location is a bit far away from the hustle, but that's what we wanted. The nice thing is the hotel provides a free shuttle to the downtown area, which is great because you can come back and retreat to a more chill location and enjoy an afternoon by the pool. Not cheap, but worth the price. We were very happy with Villa Song."Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Hauntingly beautiful"
"Staying at the Blue Mansion was an experience in itself! One of the highlights of our time in Penang! This courtyard house is exquisite beyond words, from the lobby to its inner courtyards. Calm and quiet, we were immediately transported to another century. Guests can join any of the daily tours for free. The guides were fantastic in explaining the history of Cheong Fatt Tze, the man and the house. There are small displays that remain open throughout the day that guests can browse at leisure. The mansion is bright and open in during the day. And turns mysterious and haunting at night with its glowing red lanterns. One of the most romantic places we've ever stayed. Breakfast was simple and elegant, with a la carte options as well. We had dinner at the restaurant which was good but not particularly memorable. Everyday, the staff will bring some small desserts for afternoon tea (always different and carefully created!). The location is also very central. Right next to a large covered open air food market with every type of cuisine imaginable (and very cheap). The hotel also provides bikes for rent for free but bikes are not all well maintained. We will never forget our stay at the Blue Mansion and if we return to Penang, we will not stay anywhere else."
