Sanak Retreat Bali: "Family vacation"
"What a wonderful stay / experience - We just love Sanak Retreat Bali. After travelling around asia for 2 months We arrived at this wonderful, beautiful and most quiet place at Bali. We had a lovely and warm greeting by the staff / No I Will not Call it staff but the Sanak Family. Due our stay they where all so kind, helpful and aware of every guest. The surroundings are breathtaking and even in rain season this is the perfect place to be for exploring and relaxing. We are looking forward to come back!"The Apsara Rive Droite: "Fantasic"
"We had tried Tamarind a few yards along the road but they were fully booked so we walked on and found this place which seemed better. Took a great table on the terrace, plenty of room and overlooking the Mekong, couldn't have bee better! We enjoyed a really fabulous meal, plenty to eat and drink with the most sublime dessert. Two beer Lao, one vodka tonic, Khan Soy, Fried Mushrooms, Fish Cak, Tapioca, green veg for 363,000. Totally awesome with great service. Stayed December 2016, traveled with family"Slow Villas and Spa: "So well thought"
"This place is extraordinary. We stayed for 4 nights. We are a family of 4, 2 adults and an almost 5 yr and an almost 2 yr old. We stayed in the 1 room villa with a baby cod. The almost 5 yr old slept in the big bed with us. Not ideal but it was ok. Slow did offer a separate additional bed for the 5 yr old but it would have taken up quite some space, leaving almost none left. We would go back anytime and even stay as we did of that is the only option. Indoor outdoor melts together when sliding up the 3 big glass doors facing the pool. The garden is big and leaves you with the impression that it could have been smaller without reducing your feeling of it being spacious. The bath room is outdoors. Nicely build and designed as the rest."Tugu Bali: "Old world charm with the location to match"
"We asked for a beach view and we definitely received one. Great view of the beach/sunset with the sound of the waves constantly crashing in. The room had so much old world charm about it that it really makes you wonder what has happened to the current state of hotels. The entrance hall was breathtaking with the high ceilings and the massive timber beams scattered throughout. Staff were second to none and all the Indonesian/Balinese inspired meals were also a highlight. We left as relaxed and refreshed as we ever have after a few weeks in Bali. We will be back in again in a few months."Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Quiet, restful luxury"
"Located on a beautiful stretch of beach, the Hermitage is perfect for a relaxed stay. The staff is excellent - very courteous, attentive & helpful. It was a pleasure to be able to have all our meals by the ocean as one of the restaurants is on the beach. We had a very large room & a gorgeous open-to-sky bathroom. Definitely going back! Stayed December 2016, traveled with family"MesaStila: "Number 1, 2 and 3 on my list"
"Breathtaking. Wonderful room with wonderful views. Great staff. Wonderful dinner and breakfast. Not too many guests, which we did not mind. Mother and sister went for a couple of treatments at the spa and were impressed. Brother and I had a 06.30 trailrun with our guide Augus, probably the best morning of our holiday!"Flower Island: "Fabulous cook"
"We stayed 4 nights on flower island in Bungalow number 5. The room was very clean and spacious, a few meters from the sea, under some trees; perfect for a nap under the shade of palms. The island is small but not tiny, and there are quite a few options for activities: snorkling, kayak, etc. Stuck on an island is nice to know you'll have a good meal, and what a cook they have! The food was delicious, lots of options with fish, meat, and veggies. We loved it! The staff is super nice and very helpful. They organized a show for Chinese New Year, and your could see how they enjoyed entertaining their guests, it was really nice. Highly recommended place to stay in Palawan. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"muang la: "Most charming Xmas Eve ever"
We stayed in this absolutely beautiful small resort for two nights. We were fortunate that we had a short journey, having flown to the nearest town and been picked up by the resort's car and our guide. We thought the location absolutely stunning and the staff even more fabulous. Our trek into the hills on Christmas Eve could not have been better (even down to the picnic lunch we carried with us from the resort) and the Christmas Eve entertainment which ended with us lighting Chinese lanterns was just magic. Thanks to everyone at the resort who made our stay so very special.NEELESHWAR: "Stunning"
"We were quite surprised to one minute being surrounded by urban India then suddenly in this idyllic small resort type hotel on the Coast of the Arabian Sea. Fabulous clean beach, perfect facilities, Yoga Room, Spa, 2 restaurants our favourite being right in the beach and large infinity pool. The accommodation is self contained little cottages. Just perfect. "Cuisine Wat Damnak: "A must if visiting Angkor Wat"
We had a recommendation and made a reservation (recommended as the restaurant was full). We each had different tasting menus and both were excellent - great flavours and well presented. A good and not too expensive complimentary wine list so for the quality it was well priced. The staff were friendly and interesting to talk to the owner/chef whi visited all the tables.
