Satri House: "Just wonderful and charming"
"Excellent in every way! Top in quality of the rooms decorated with local and colonial furniture, the staff is helpful, the spa was really agreeable, the restaurant is top even if the staff is still lacking a bit of experience in the way of taking orders. For sure, this will be the place I will go back to next time I am in Luang Prabang."Les Maisons Wat Ko: "Highly Recommended"
The resort is located in local village just about 10 mins drive to the famous Bamboo train and downtown. Lush tropical garden with big beautiful lotus pond and the traditional wooden houses made a perfect combination that create a sense of peace and relaxation. The room is very clean, cozy and comfortable. Free high speed WIFI in room and public area. Highly recommended for couple, family and individuals looking for good resort, privacy and cultural experience in Battambong. Will sure to stay there again if we returGlenburn Tea Estate: "Absolute gem in the Himalayas"
"My mum and I spent a wonderful, serene few days at Glenburn and we absolutely loved it. Each (huge) room was quaint and charming in old Colonial style, all with their own unique theme - ours was the Rose Room. We went at the recommendation of two friends, who also stayed at Glenburn together with us, and we even made new friends over the communal dinner table. The staff were helpful with everything from making a cup of the delicious home grown tea to organising hikes and day trips. They prepared three meals a day, of various Indian and western cuisines, and even packed delicious picnics that were brought to us on our hikes. They were also very accommodating with food allergies. The surrounding gardens and tea plantations are absolutely exquisite, and it is definitely worth going on hikes around the area, especially the hikes down to the river through Darjeeling's own plantation, and up through the local village to the neighbouring plantations in Kalimpong. There is free wifi but the signal isn't too strong in the rooms - leave the laptop behind and bring a couple of books to read while soaking in the view on the terrace. Be prepared for an extremely bumpy and windy ride from Bagdogra airport. If you are at all prone to motion sickness then I would strongly recommend bringing a motion sickness armband or tablets, and ask the driver to take the calmer road through Darjeeling town rather than the precarious ""highway"" that passes the Bhutanese border."Villa Song Saigon: "A place to relax"
"We visited Villa Song on our last night in Vietnam. What a wonderful boutique Hotel. The staff could not be more helpful The room we had was on the ground floor with access to the pool area, the room was spacious and very comfortable. The manager was so good he let us purchase an item from his hotel entrance as he said he could get a replacement from Hanoi. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"The Cabochon Hotel and Residence: "Excellent Boutique Hotel and Amazing Staff"
"This was the first stop on our honeymoon and the Cabochon was an excellent hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and helped answer any questions we had, including recommendations for restaurants and nearby spas. They even helped arrange shipping a package of souvenirs we had purchased back home to the USA. The food at the hotel is great, especially the free breakfast. The location of the hotel is very central but also tucked away on a side street, a nice quiet escape from the busy streets of Bangkok."The Village House: "Peaceful location"
"If you're looking for an action packed location then this is not your place but if you're looking for a quiet and peaceful place to unwind then this is the perfect. The Village House is about a 40 minute drive from Kuching in the village of Santubong. It's a beautiful place with nicely designed and comfortable rooms and great bathroom. There's a beautiful pool area to relax in and the food here is very good. I spent two nights here where i relaxed by the pool, read a couple of books, enjoyed the food on offer, drank some wine and just enjoyed this lovely place. When I felt energetic i walked through the village and down to the beach to watch the sun set. The staff can arrange tours and transport if you do want to get out and do things but it is a great place to relax. Beautiful! Peaceful! Relaxing!"Reverie Siam: "Fabulous honeymoon stay"
My husband and I spent 5 nights at this hotel and it was wonderful. The hotel has been opened less than a year and feels immaculate. There are so many positives about this place. The design of the hotel and gardens, the very conscientious staff that make you feel special, the high quality finish of the rooms and the superb breakfasts. The hotel is not crowded and so the swimming pool area is very private we often had the pool entirely to ourselves. A nice touch was a free glass of wine or bubbly during some of our evening meals. There was live music on 3 nights of the five we stayed which we enjoyed. We had a fantastic chef board one evening in the restaurant which was delicious. The only thing that would make this hotel even better would perhaps be spa or massage treatments. There aren't fantastic spas in the area and as the hotel has such pretty gardens that would have been lovely. A wonderful hotel, stay here you won't regret it!Tugu Bali: "Romantic getaway"
"We were so impressed with everything at Tugu, Bali. Jenny and the team made us so welcome and the service throughout our stay was excellent. The Cultural Evening was an insight into the traditional Balinese culture, the tour of the antiques and artwork around the hotel was really interesting and the romantic bed picnic was a unique dining experience, really memorable. Thanks to all the team for everything. We hope to return soon. Kind regards, Maggie and Kieran Tangerang."4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Serene retreat away from the city"
We had a wonderful stay - the staff were fantastic and made us very welcome on this floating camp. My partner celebrated her birthday and as a surprise they prepared one tent for our evening meal, complete with soft lighting, sweet music and then at the end they came to serenade us - very special!!The Hue House: "A charming secret place for a great Hue cuisine!"
Not easy to find... and that makes it intriguing...beautiful setting and view from the roof top (10F) of a building with a lovely garden and decoration. Warm and friendly service. and great traditional dishes from Hue... a Must try experience if you like secret places !
