"We stayed at Hotel Tugu for 4 nights and we both came away saying it was easily the best hotel we had ever stayed in! Every whim is catered for, anything you could imagine they make possible, and always with a smile. The food is outstanding, and the location of the hotel is fantastic with a stunning white sand beach and views of the mountains. Its hard to imagine that this secret retreat is in the heart of Chaing Mai - The hotel is absolutely gorgeous - exquisite - so charming - the furniture is to die for - so tasteful - my husband and I adored our stay there - and because it was so central - we were able to visit the market by foot just 5 mins away. What a gem this place is - and I loved the symmetry - wow just awesome. Food was fab - and every afternoon my hubby and I would just sit and drink tea and soak it all in. "Abbiamo soggiornato a Bali in diversi hotel e ville, ma Villa Mathis ci è rimasta nel cuore. Lo staff di Villa Mathis è stato gentilissimo e disponibilissimo durante le nostre tre notti di soggiorno. La villa è bellissima, in stile balinese e sebbene la nostra fosse vicino ad un'altra la privacy è garantita. Il servizio, ogni sera, di disinfestazione ci ha permesso di dormire sonni tranquilli. We stayed at the villa song hotel for two nights. It's a beautiful boutique hotel with tasteful decorations and outfits. We enjoyed the pool area very much. Service was excellent and staff were attentive. Breakfast was okay. The pho we had was too soft though but the food quality is still pretty nice overall. The only thing is we won't recommend it if you travel with elderly and young children. We got in at 3am with two young kids; they cried for bath and people next door were banging on the divided door complaining about our noise which we had hard time to control. One other minor complaint is the smell of the hotel. The sewage system of the pool area isn't designed well enough that from time to time there's off putting smell coming from the fence area. If they could fix that, the place is really a gem for couples!Talabgaon Castle: "Hidden Treasure"
A little outside Jaipur this polo retreat is definitely a must visit resort. If you are a group of travellers then your search for perfect escape from city is over. From food to service to privacy this resort has everything that a traveler requires. "We stayed here for 2 nights in February and could have stayed a bit longer to explore the area more. This a lovely resort and the lake villa we had was really comfortable, clean with lovely bathroom and great outside shower. The food was great with lots of local dishes on the menu, using fresh produce. Service was excellent and the position of the restaurant just perfect. We organised a half day tour of the lake through the resort and this was certainly a highlight of our visit. A short drive from Pindaya and Shwe Oo Min, this lovely place has high quality well appointed bedrooms, each with a small balcony with great views across the countryside. The dinners and breakfast were delicious, and staff very friendly. (It would be amazing if the fishpond were actually a small swimming pool, but you can't have everything!)4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Maybe one of the best over the world"
"I stayed two nights at Four Rivers and it was a nice dream. This floating hotel is located in a beautiful jungle's river far away from everywhere. The rooms/tents are luxurious but not fancy. With private terrace over the river, you can swim in the fresh and clean water of Tatai's river. Also you can drink a beer while you're watching the jungle, the birds and the fishes. Food in 4 rivers is 5 stars and the staff also. Everybody is very professional and try to explain you everything about the jungle, the life in the nearest villages etc. They have many trips to discover the area. Don't miss the fireflies trip during the night, kayaking in the mangrove and the sunset cruise. So, everything is perfect in this ecolodge."The River Resort: "Magnificent"
We had booked a garden view room but when we arrived there were few people staying and we were upgraded at no cost to a River Front room. The room was very nice with a lovely outlook over the river. We enjoyed the infinity swimming pools and the natural landscaping of the resort. All staff were extremely helpful and polite. The restaurant served excellent meals including breakfast. We enjoyed our stay and extended. Everything is very clean. Highly recommended.
