Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Khmai food and hospitality at its best"
A really good restaurant. The food was top notch - Khmai food with an added twist. The service was first rate and the setting very conducive to a wonderful evening - highly recommended and not too costlyLe Calao: "Lovely place, delicious food"
Oh yes, and a great spot, excellent cocktails and perfect service. We’re just back from a wonderful dinner there, and very pleased. We had exclusively Lao food, and loved it. Good luck with the new endeavor.Bassac Cruises: "Fascinating and beautiful cruise"
This is such a great way to explore the Mekong Delta. The boat gives a comfortable experience as you sail by fabulous scenery , observing families and enjoying delicious food. Our guide , An, was a delight. She shared with us how people live in the Delta villages including first hand experiences and such interesting information. Visit to rice factory and floating market great!Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Long quite beach in a relaxing resort"
"if you like a relaxing place and walk for miles on a quite beach without seeing anybody, this place is for you. The Resort is located at the northern end of the Ko Phra Thong island. It is pretty much isolated from the rest of the island. The guests and supplies are usually dropped by boats on the beach. The resort is nice and quite, usually not full. On site restaurant is pretty good and reasonably priced (half board is a good value) so you really don't need to go anywhere to eat. However, you do have to rely on the resort for everything from food to transportation. I would suggest if you have any favorite drink or snack, try to bring them to the island since there is no place to purchase anything except the resort which may not have the items you want. The island itself has no place for snorkeling but you can rent a kayak from the resort and a 10 min. rowing will bring you to a small snorkeling beach on a nearby island. For world class snorkeling, the resort can arrange a full day trip to the nearby Surin island. If you plan to snorkel quite a bit, considering bring your own snorkel since the equipment in the resort is in bad shape. There staff of the resort are friendly and service is excellent. Overall, I would highly recommend the resort. Stayed March 2017, traveled with family"Tugu Malang: "Love this piece of Gem"
My second visit. Staff remembered and adressed me with my name. Arrived 5 mins to high tea but was accommodated. Rooms uniquely decorated. As the common room with peranakan-javanese style furnitures and paintings. ENJOYED SO MUCH....The Cabochon Hotel: "Stylish Boutique hotel"
In the middle of Bangkok we found this stylish Hotel in an old Colonial style Building. The staff was very friendly and after running around in Bangkok the Swimmingpool on the rooftop was a blessing. The room was huge and the furniture very stylish like the Hotel. A must stay for people who like to be in the middle of this city and want to enjoy the amenities of a quite Boutique Hotel. A lot of good Bars and Restaurants are just around the corner.Maison Polanka: "Outstanding boutique hotel"
Great quality hotel with exceptional staff who could went out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable. The grounds are delightful and the rooms spacious. The hotel is in easy reach of the town yet far enough out to offer a peaceful setting.Rak Ko Jae Seoul: "Amazing Hanok"
It was our first time to Seoul and my friend and I decided to spend the first 2 nights in a Hanok. We chose this place based on the pictures and reviews people posted here. It turned out to be the best experience ever. We had lots of fun and al Mr.Kim was a lot of help. He helped pointed us to a great restaurant for buddaejjigae. And also helped us with any questions we had. We would totally recommend this Hanok. They cleaned the room everyday and it was well kept. Thanks again Mr. Kim with all your help and hospitality. "We received a gracious welcome with fresh juice & traditional snacks as we checked in. The staff were helpful, respectful & kind. Rooms were lovely, and the hotel is filled with wonderful museum quality antiquity. Every meal was delicious. Prices were great. Enjoyed high tea, multiple Spa treatments, both a cooking class and a ""beauty class"". The classes (one each day) included tours to local markets to gather the ingredients. So interesting and both guides were knowledgeable and informative. We weren't rushed and allowed time to shop & see how Indonesians ""grocery shop"". Staff seemed to anticipate our needs and were always one step ahead making sure our comfort was always a top priority. We highly recommend this hotel!"
