Review by: CharmBrisbane | Source: Trip Advisor
"Amazing hotel and not that far from the centre. Perfect for a getaway if you live in Vietnam and also if you want to stay out of the hustle of the main centre. Gorgeous river location and fantastic staff. Caters for Asian and Western customers. The pool and surrounds are very relaxing."

Reverie Siam: "Antiques! Truly amazing"

Review by: Hublescope | Source: Trip Advisor
Stayed here one night with my friend and we did enjoy much! A little bit expensive but it pays back a great experience.i love those decorations, antiques! It's hard to find old machines as of these days, if you wish to feel like travel back time, visit this hotel! I love our huge rooms just open your door and jump in to the pool! Thanks for the birthday present! Foods is fabulous, restaurant is very romantic for couples! Very serene and quite place. If you love nature here in Asia this is the best. And oh! There is a gazebo located into the river bank! I love it!

Maison Polanka: "An oasis indeed"

Review by: zachykings | Source: Trip Advisor
This lovely sweet hotel is indeed an oasis. It's location is so strategically located to give us the best night sleep. Waking up in a garden made us feel at home. Value for the money is backed up by the very professional service. I personally like the service the Khmer staffs rendered to us. Amazing pool too! Try the food they serve. Amazing

Muang La Lodge: "Dream Boutique Hotel in Great Location"

Review by: RichardAscot | Source: Trip Advisor
"The trip to this resort from Luang Prabang is defintely worth doing. The rooms are fantastic with great views and a fantastic pool. The service is 5 star and charming and Rui the General Manager was really friendly and could not do enough to make our stay memorable. The food each night was fantasic and we loved the tasting menu approach -breakfasts were also great. Our best day was the visit to 3 hill tribes in the mountains, with a brilliant local guide. We brought balloons for the kids who were really pleased, had a picnic at a local school and even visited the local Shamens hut. In the last village there wasno photography as the villagers still believe it ""steals your soul""! When we came back to the hotel, we walked across the bridge and took a punt back across the river, visited the local monastry where we got a blessing from a local monk and had a beer at a small hut hanging over the river. Local village and market are also a short walk from the hotel. All in all this place was faultless and a trip here twinned with Luang Prabang is a superb holiday (althiygh Luang Prabang will feel touristy after here). Hope to get back sonn Rui and thanks for making sure we had such a great time. Richard "

SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Michelin star quality lakeside Yangon"

Review by: Glen C | Source: Trip Advisor
My second time to Yangon and this is the best ! Sensational food and wine set in amazing gardens on the lake. I recommend arriving before dinner for a cocktail in the stunning lounge area. It’s so beautiful to sit under the outside terrace or if you want something super romantic and private choose one of the private dining options (see photo ) or there is one lakeside. Service was impeccable. Must do !

Anopura: "Juste ouahhh"

Review by: ladies a | Source: Trip Advisor

The Cabochon Hotel: "An oasis in the middle of chaotic Bangkok"

Review by: Tawnessa C | Source: Trip Advisor
The Cabochon was heaven. The hotel is wonderfully decorated with antique items and gorgeous little nooks and crannies that make you want to photograph everything. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, catering to anything we needed. The breakfast was scrumptious - great way to start your day touring around Bangkok. The restaurant served the best food we had during our entire stay in Thailand.

Sea Dance Resort: "Amazing and personalized service, and beautiful resort! Home away from home."

Review by: Edna_on_vacation | Source: Trip Advisor
"From the start to the end, they helped us devise up a great schedule for the days we were present. We were visiting with young children and elderly parents. We had already done our research on the things we wanted to see but they suggested even more and put it altogether to make our stay unforgettable. Service: This is not one of the huge hotels where you get robotic service. All the staff know you, remember your names and what you like! A special Thanks to Faith for organizing and following up with all our needs and wants during our stay. It was wonderful to meet the kind and talented (guitar player) Poy who made our stay heavenly. Location: the hotel is located in a quiet area of the town and not on the busy streets. You can get to busy streets from where they are located though on foot or by using one of the pick up taxis'. Rooms: we loved the rustic feel of the rooms and the fact that we had our own small pool where the kids could swim and play whenever they wanted. The rooms were clean and spacious. They provide bathrobes and flip flops to walk around and welcome food. Water is provided everyday. They also provide a kind of electric zapper looking like a tennis racket (which we had never seen before) and this soon became my husband's new pass time... Amenities: we went snorkeling with the kids and although it can be hard at first to wade into the water with the rocks, they provide the perfect refuge to admire all the colorful fish in their habitat. The hotel has a couple of kayaks and provided life jackets and even crocs. Food: DELICIOUS! Definitely recommend the Thai cooking class. Not only was it so instructive for my kids and fun, but the result was absolutely delicious. The cooks/chefs were the sweetest with my children and we were able to adapt the spices to our liking. We discovered new fruits and the kids loved chopping the fruit and mixing it all in! The highlight of my trip! All in all: Definitely recommend if you want a quiet trip with elderly family or young children as they cater for all. You can get the excitement needed with all the activities onsite or in town which they organize. Tip on Koh Samui: On a Friday night visit the Fisherman's market. When doing activities around Koh Samui, I suggest to put on insect repellent as we did get bitten quite a bit and we had put on repellent and wore long pants! Not in the hotel but when we were out doing excursions whether it be at the fish market, the elephant safari...etc."

Kinabalu Park: "A Paradise up in the hills"

Review by: ngsuaneng | Source: Trip Advisor
My cousin and I stayed at one of the units in Nepenthes Lodges managed by Sutera Sanctuary Lodges. The lodges are located right in the heart of the Unesco World Heritage Site. We had the luxury of a two storey lodge with two bed rooms, a balcony, a nice sitting room with a fire place and a kitchen. The place is well run. I would like to commend the manager, Alvina, who was very concerned about us after we checked in, as it was raining heavily. She made sure that our small requests, including room service, were met with great efficiency. From the lodge, we could see Mount Kinabalu, the highest mountain in Southeast Asia, and misty rain forest around us. It was so relaxing staying in the lodge and taking cool walks to see the flora and fauna in a natural setting. Temperature at this 5,200ft highland was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciate the good service.
