Jing’s Residence: "Historical Treat in the old town of Pinyao"

Review by: Stuart L | Source: Trip Advisor
"As soon as we stepped in the door we knew that this was going to be a wonderful experience. Imam the Manager gave us a warm welcome. Every room is unique and in traditional style set around numerous courtyards with wonderful decorative detail. Breakfast is waitress served by professional staff at all levels. There is a menu with a wide range of choices. Afternoon tea is served with a selection of treats. Attention to detail is given and nothing is too much trouble. A wonderful stay and a wonderful memory of Pingyao."

Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "Sounds like a cliche but this really is a hidden gem"

Review by: Kay F | Source: tripadvisor.com
"Really great characterful and classy colonial style hotel. Very comfortable, friendly helpful staff and a very good Thai restaurant. Somebody with a lot of money and style has set this hotel up. Lots of lounge areas with interesting trinkets and there's a full shared kitchen on the second floor. A short walk from the sky train so easy to get to other parts of the city."

Nimmu House: "Unfrogettable experience"

Review by: Boris A | Source: Trip Advisor
"We were therefrom May 12 to 15th 2017. If you like authenticity, hospitality, getting a sense about how live Laddak people, be part of a sustainable way to travel, it is THE place to be. Not a 5* hotel; you have to switch on your hot water boiler! But you will like sleeping and eating in a old, refurbished Laddaki house; seating on the terrasse under the stars and around the fire; enjoying talks with the locals. Food is excellent; and they 'll organize touring, rafting, trekking if you have not. And you will love the warming pan the staff would have put in your bed while having your diner. Just awesome! Refreshing, relaxing, out of time...... and deconnected. Do not expect a regular WiFi internet connection, but this has nothing to do with the lodge management. Local telecoms company issue!!!!"

Hotel Tugu Lombok: "Heavenly"

Review by: Liza D | Source: Trip Advisor
My husband and I recently spent three nights at Tugu Lombok, and we are already planning our next trip back - this time for at least a week! Although we were only there for a couple of days, the time that we spent there was incredibly restorative. The hotel's location, on the peninsula and away from other hotels, makes it truly feel like you've escaped from real life. The staff heightens this experience, by catering to your every need with a smile and impeccable service. When we asked the front desk where we might be able to purchase some aloe nearby, they responded that they would deliver some freshly crushed aloe to our room shortly. Lo and behold, fresh aloe arrived and it did wonders for our sunburnt skin. The food was delicious. We particularly appreciated that, in addition to their standard menu, they offered a supplementary menu that changed daily. The day of our departure was quite windy, and the staff helped us coordinate potential alternate ferry options for our trip back to Bali. Our driver also stayed with us at the port until our ferry departed, to ensure that we got on board safely. The staff truly goes the extra mile. We cannot wait for our next visit to Tugu Lombok!

MesaStila: "Boutique Villa in Javanese Style"

Review by: AnneHu | Source: Trip Advisor
Heard the story from staff that a Spanish lady built this place and all the villas were moved from somewhere in Central Java so that all villas are unique. I joined the coffee plantation trip and liked it. Also I bought one pack of coffee beans from gift shop, which was quite nice actually.

The River Resort: "Magical Mekong River views – with good food and a spa!"

Review by: Ann B | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed three nights at this lush and green, rather smart resort, arranged for us by Selective Asia. Our family villa room was upstairs, with a balcony and absolutely wonderful views over the Mekong. Great to watch the fishermen at sunrise from the balcony or from bed, with a cup of tea made in our room, or enjoy a drink from the minibar listening to the crickets as the sun set. A magical spot indeed. You’ll need your anti mosquito lotion for sitting out in this location, but the resort villa rooms have good nets and our room was realatively easy to keep mosquito free! We ate at the hotel open air restaurant every evening and found plenty to choose from, with a good range of western and Asian options. We enjoyed all our meals, and service was excellent. Breakfast was good too, but we would have liked some more bread options as well as the rather sweet slices there were to toast (e.g. brown?) - but maybe that’s not available at this slightly remote location. One of us had a massage at the spa, which was great and a lovely option to have right on site. Hotel provided us with a boat crossing to meet our guide at the opposite river bank, which was ideal and very prompt and comfortable. We also had laundry done, which was not expensive and very convenient. Sadly we didn’t get chance to use the free bikes. All in all a wonderful spot and a lovely exclusive hotel, and we loved having it as our base for exploring the Mekong River and the nearby Wat Phou UNESCO Site."

Villa Song Saigon: "Fantastic boutique hotel on the river"

Review by: Traveler2129 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We had 2 rooms and both were great. They are a little small but enough space for luggage. The room was well appointed. Mini bar and breakfast are included and if you are hungry you can have multiple breakfasts. The food was excellent. The outdoor dining area is beautiful and you don't feel like your are in the middle of the city. The staff are attentive and go out of their way to accommodate. We will definitely return. "

The Cabochon Hotel and Residence: "Chic Boutique."

Review by: Jhan R | Source: Trip Advisor
Lovely eight room residence. Staff super helpful and friendly. Beautiful interior design. Easy access to Sky Train and the "cool" area of Thong Lo. Amazing shower. I would recommend a stay here. Roof top pool. Great fun and tonics in the evening with an excellent array of find to chose from.
