The Hue House: "Áwesome dining experience"
super delicious foods, beautiful rooftop settings, lovely attentive staff... a wonderful luncheon experience... Will definitely be back!Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Amazing social impact work and experience"
"Reflecting on the amazing past weeks in Myanmar. I arrived enamored by the strength of its people (especially its women) amidst its sour history of civil war and political unrest. I leave impressed by people and organizations like Yin Myo Su and Inle Heritage who have a vision that holds in balance the need to have Myanmar operate on a global platform but done in a way that preserves and cherishes its rich heritage, culture and environment. After three days of social impact workshops, we are excited by the thoughtful and intentional process that Inle Heritage Foundation and its team are making in using ecotourism as a powerful tool for good. Inle Heritage not only role models what a social business can operate like in Myanmar, but also trains its people to think differently, be curious, and challenge prevailing status quos, while also advocating for the preservation of the rich heritage and ecosystem endemic of the Inle Lake region. Thank you for your immense hospitality Missu, you and your team are an inspiration! We look forward to keeping in touch and following your social change progress!"Neeleshwar Hermitage: "A piece of paradise"
"Our stay at Neeleshwar was pure pleasure. The bungalow style rooms were wonderfully comfortable with views overlooking the sea - well spaced with lovely verandah and hammock. The service was excellent - the friendly and attentive staff made the stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. Breakfast and dinner by the beach overlooking the Arabian Sea was delicious and the infinity pool and setting invited stunning photographs. Yoga in the morning was an added bonus as was the very experienced tailor who turned around your order in double quick time. The style of the Hermitage is intimate and focuses on excellent service and it is small enough to be able to deliver for each guest. A perfect end to a perfect holiday. Stayed January 2017"Rachamankha: "Lovely boutique hotel"
The rooms, courtyards and pool area are absolutely fantastic. The hotel is very mordern and has a nice oriental atmosphere. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly! It's a must, when you are in Chiang Mai!Muang La Lodge: "A surreal dream in the midst of rural Laos – and so child-friendly"
"We absolutely LOVED it! Room with river-view was wonderfully serene, the 5-course dinner was thoughtful and delicious (loved their vegetarian versions, so flexible!), and our hearts were warmed by the sincere care and support the whole team - from guard to managers - showed towards (us and) our almost 2-yr-old son. We can whole-heartedly recommend the hotel to other families with small children. Also, we were really astonished by the loving thoughtfulness which was put into every detail of our stay, starting with flowers and a hand-written note for our wedding anniversary and ending with an email to check if our flight really worked out...just amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We´ll come back! Stayed March 2017, traveled with family"Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "Absolutely Outstanding"
"Seadance is a very special place indeed. As has been said in lots of other reviews - the staff are amazing- so very friendly and helpful. It is very peaceful here, so much so that we didn't venture far from the resort during our 6 day stay, which is unusual for us. The rooms are great and we loved the semi-outdoor nature of the bathrooms which gave it a very special feel. The food in the restaurant is fantastic - yes it is more than you would pay in local restaurants - but it is definitely worth it. We would definitely recommend the Wednesday night buffet - with complimentary drinks beforehand. We also took advantage of the happy hour (5-7pm) most evenings with 2 for 1 cocktails which were great. Thank you Poy, Faith and the rest of the team for ensuring we had the best holiday ever. We will be recommending Seadance to everyone we know. Best regards , Chris and Sue Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"Inle Princess Resort: "Wonderfull days"
We hade two days at this amazing Hotel resort😘and we can recommand the Hotel. Beautiful spa and cottages verry nice food and friendly staff. We loved every minut. The lake and The resort are special and very ecological. Please preserve your beautiful nature and enviroment.Mrauk U Princess Resort: "Best in Mrauk-U"
"Excellent rustic hotel in Mrauk U. The hotel has its own jetty that takes about 4:30 hours from Sittwe airport. Sunrise breakfast charge 150 for 5 people to watch the sunrise in the the mountain and have breakfast there. Bicycles are available for rent for $5 for full day and $3 for half day. The pool in the middle of the lotus flower lake is great but the water is cold. Breakfast is included; for other meals the restaurant has a vast menu priced in USD. Can't go wrong with the curry, coconut rice (not found on the menu) and the lentil soup . The Internet rarely works but then again who cares when you are immersed in history. "I had my 2nd fabulous stay at Reverie Siam, in as many months, and cannot add anything that has not already been said in the other reviews, except for the fact that everything was consistently great for my 2nd stay as for my 1st (see my 1st review) (…) The resort is definitely a gem, a serene & luxurious oasis, that is equally perfect for couples or singles looking for a relaxing, or romantic get-away. (...) The background music & nightly live music adds an intimate enjoyment while enjoying a refreshing cocktail or a glass (or 2!) of wine. All of these things, and the too-many-special-added-touches to mention, creates a wonderful ambience of peace, serenity, intimacy, romance, and enjoyment for discerning couples & singles. I cannot recommend this resort enough, but on the other hand, I would like to keep it my secret! I am already planning my 3rd stay soon at my home-away-from-home!"Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Special dinner at a special place. You’ll need a reservation"
"No need to consider twice. Make sure you make a reservation, and go. 6-course trail of amazingness and a great selection of drinks (we had wine for this visit, but the cocktail menu also seemed fantastic). The vibe is cozy/intimate, with some personal touch of the owners. Two thumbs up!"
