Villa Song Saigon: "Must stay"

Review by: t0kid0ki | Source: Trip Advisor
"I had a chance to come across this hotel as I was sourcing an outdoor venue for a corporate event. Everyone at Villa Song was very helpful with our event. For those looking for a place to have an outdoor wedding, look no further - Villa Song is the place to go to! I had the chance to stay there for a night and I regretted as it's too short!!! I will definitely be back! The room is huge and the bed is very comfortable. They have a great restaurant that is just by the Saigon river that offers 2 completely different views for day and night. Food is awesome as well and you have the choice of either Vietnamese or Western - both are great. They have a great pool as well - though they don't offer any view but they have make the pool very cosy. Just a look at the pool and you will want to stay there. Spa was great too! I had a 75min massage - price is cheaper than the 5-star hotels in District 1. Although the location is at District 2, it is not far from other places. I would recommend staying here for 1-2N for some quiet moments before staying at the downtown area. Just a note that I don't think there is any elevator. Thus if you have problems walking up the stairs, you can request for rooms that are at the ground level."

Manda De Laos: "Wonderful Location and Cuisine"

Review by: Elaine C | Source: Trip Advisor
"Laotian cuisine is generally nice. I appreciate the taste and variety. But in Manda de Laos, the food taste great add it with amazing presentation. Most recommended dishes are Mok Pa (local fish dish), and Phed Makham (their signature duck dish)! Everything we ordered from starters to dessert are just great. The location is very serene overlooking lily ponds. Just lovely and relaxing."

Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "Stop Searching….Seadance is PERFECT"

Review by: shaycat | Source: Trip Advisor
"Stayed here for 4 nights in March 2017. From our pick-up by Tum at Samui airport to drop-off by Poy at the ferry, everything was five star. Poy, Faith, Tum and all the Seadance team are true professionals of the hospitality trade. Seadance has luxurious beachfront villas, amenities are excellent with a great infinity pool which has a swim-up bar. Food here is top class and is very reasonably priced as are drinks. Beautiful and secluded coral beach with real crystal clear water. You should book this resort. I would definitely stay here again. Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"

SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Way above the standard expected in Yangon"

Review by: mfranks911 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Felix and Lucia Eppiser have many years experience in the restaurant industry coming from a Michelin star background in Switzerland, on to Le Planteur also in Yangon and then time in Malaysia until they have settled again in Yangon. Seeds is a relatively newcomer on the fine dining scene here and there are some great menu options, we chose ""Lotus"". From the time we arrived till we left we were treated like very valued guests. Serve was impeccable and we had a vast array of appetisers before we even started. We had a table on the terrace and if we have one criticism we thought the lighting level not quite adequate (we also ate outside at Le Planteur where the lighting was better) but otherwise it was faultless. Excellent tasting menu using mostly local ingredients, great presentation, textures and flavours. Both Felix and Lucia spoke to us several times and we liked their approach to staff training. There is also a nice wine list, obviously well chosen, and a bottle of nice Alsace Riesling was $43 which was pretty reasonable. At a touch over $200 all in for the two of us, plus a small cash tip, it is obviously top end for Yangon but not for the likes of Western diners. I hope Seeds goes from strength to strength and if we are ever in Yangon again we will return, I agree if ever Michelin get there it is star quality."

The River Resort: "Mekong glorious"

Review by: 張 亭 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We got upgraded for being the first Taiwanese visitors in its much venerated history (lol) and the river view is so very good, even a terrible photographer could shoot a photo with hues like Apocalypse Now or King Kong. Food is actually unexpectedly good, all the staff are wonderful people, I could not come up with anything to complain except that it's kinda weird with hotel this big and visitors this scarce, a bit ""Get Out"" as my friends and I had consensus upon."

Rak Ko Jae Seoul: "Perfect last 2 nights in Seoul at this hidden gem"

Review by: SandilaEkaputri | Source: Trip dvisor
"I stumbled upon RakKoJae as I was searching for unique experiences in Seoul. Sure enough, staying at RakKoJae was one of the highlights of my first trip to South Korea. I thought spending my last 2 nights here before I fly home would wrap up my travel great, and it did. Now where do I begin? The hanok guesthouse - Simply beautiful, tasteful, and serene. First night I stayed in Master bedroom, second night in Far bedroom. I love both rooms. But beyond the rooms, RakKoJae really gives you a wholesome experience. You aren’t staying in rooms. You are staying in a beautiful hanok house The experience - The natural jade flooring is awesome. It gives you the cool relaxing feel, especially in spring/summer season. The hinoki wooden bathtub is also great. The Korean breakfast is one you have to try in the morning (it’s really good). You could also try on hanbok during breakfast time. Fun to wear it, take photos, with hanok environment as Instagram-worthy-background. Don’t forget to try out the yellow mud sauna. I stayed for about 30 mins, sweating but feeling anxious at the same time. It was really soothing that I almost fell asleep! The staff - Mr. Kim, the General Manager, was really attentive and helpful since the beginning of reservation, during my stay, until bidding me farewell as I leave RakKoJae for the airport. Thank you for your kindness and your hospitality On my last night, it was drizzling in Seoul. Relaxing on RakKoJae’s patio, reading a book, and enjoying the house’s evening view? Couldn’t ask for a better experience. I shall return one day and try Patio Room next time :)"

Babe: "Awesome dinner for couple"

Review by: Lola C | Source: Trip Advisor
This place is awesome for anyone looking to have dinner with a view (not so great but pass lah) and not having to go downtown kl. From food presentation to food line up and wine pairing, it is perfect. Also they have special arrangement for special occasion, so make sure you inform them earlier.

Rachamankha: "Old City Oasis"

Review by: PaulSmithiii | Source: Trip Advisor
Traveling from the Chiang Mai Airport we encountered a buzz of traffic including autos, tuk-tuks and a swarm of scooters and small motorcycles. Crowded, bussling, narrow streets apperared to be the norm. Then our driver turned onto a side street and pulled into the calm and quiet of Rachamankha. The staff of the hotel and the restaurant where gracious and attentive. The grounds are gorgeous and peaceful. We spent a few quiet hours by the tranquil pool. Great experince.

Tugu Lombok: "Wow"

Review by: threepwood86 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Initially we were planning to stay at another hotel for our 3 night stay in Lombok, but then I came across the reviews of this hotel, and I could not believe all the 5 stars. However, after our 3 nights were over, Tugu Lombok TRULY deserves all the 5 star reviews. Basically the hotel is situated next to its own private 900metre beach. Although we were there after a tide, the staff did its best to clean the beach every day. All along the beach there are deckchairs, open-air cabins chairs etc Rooms: We stayed during Ramadan, and our room was close to a mosque. The praying could be heard throughout the night. When we talked about this to the GM, they immediately did their best to accomodate us in a new room, which was farther from the mosque and its sound could not be heard. The rooms are clean, and service is twice a day, morning and evenings. Our first room had a semi-open-air bathroom (still very private), which was something we never came across, but enjoyed. Hotel grounds: Hotel grounds are magnificent. Clean cut green grass, sandy beach and sea. The hotel offers free snorkeling equipment, free canoes and also other sea amenities. Staff: The staff were incredible. They really go out of their way to make your stay great. We were on our honeymoon, and they brought a cake for us in the last night, and decorated our room (whilst we were dining) with various 'towel animals'. We were super delighted to see it and could not believe our eyes. Since the hotel has limited rooms, staff knows you on a personal basis, and it really makes you feel more at home. Excursions: We took 2 excursions from the hotel. One was to Gili islands and the other to the waterfalls. Both were a little bit pricey, but we enjoyed both of them. The Gili islands one was exceptionally good..they literally give you a boat to use at your own leisure with your own captain and his helper :) They suggested good snorkeling spots etc. Dining: Since there are no restaurants nearby, we took dinner at the restaurants hotels. Food was really really good, especially the fish, but a little expensive. For our last night, we also had the opportunity to dine on the sand and under the stars, surrounded by candle light. Truly one in a lifetime romantic experience. Conclusion: This was one of the best hotels we have stayed into in our 3 week Bali honeymoon. The 5 star reviews are really well deserved. IF we are ever back to Lombok, we will surely stay there again!!"

David’s Kitchen: "Fine dining at its best"

Review by: Humbletraveler1 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Davids kitchen enjoys a great reputation in Chiang Mai and richly deserves it. You will walk away happy after eating here. The menu is superb and the service exceptional. They brought a long stem rose to the table for my wife, a nice gesture. I have also been to a few charity events here as David supports good causes. A must if you come to Chiang Mai."
