Cuisine Wat Damnak: "New Year Eve treat"

We loved our meal on new years eve. Great value for 6 courses of quality food, particularly loved the Amuse Bouche. Staff were very nice and the chef visited each table. Made the evening special.

The Cabochon Hotel: "Boutique hotel in the middle of Bangkok"

Bangkok is filled with excellent five star international hotels. Here's something completely different. Small, boutique tucked away in a small Soi off Sukhumvit. The service levels are warm friendly with a touch of classic Thai friendliness. The hotel is only 5 years old but has been created for yesteryear. Food is lovely and the atmosphere unique.

Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "A little piece of heaven"

"Only for who is looking for relax and real contact with nature. No windows, doors or keys, forget shoes and phones, bathroom is openair. Andamane sea in front, savannah behind, mangroves canal, jungle around you. Typical and excellent dishes served for breakfast and dinner. Opportunity to make some really thrilling experiences with a thai guide. Thai original massages in a beautiful setting on the beach. Staff is really nice and helpfull and give you all the privacy needed. We were there for new years eve and was a wonderful beginning with bonfire on the beach, fireworks, lanterns throw. As I said a little piece of heaven!"

Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Make reservations way in advance"

I was warned to make reservations in advance (which I did) as the restaurant is small. Boy was I glad. It is a wonderful set menu in an intimate restaurant where the chef actually comes to meet the diners. My 10 y/o daughter did not finish her last dish (but of course she had the dessert) and they charged us only for 5 dishes for her instead of the set 6 dish menu. So very nice of them. Each dish was well presented and was delicious. A must try when in Siem Reap.

Glenburn Tea Estate: "All you need to know about tea"

A fantastic three night stay on the Glenburn Tea Estate. Amazing, sumptuous suite with fabulous views of Kanchanjunga, Sikkim and Darjeeling. Delightful guide lead walks around the tea plantations and a very interesting tour of the tea factory complete with tea tasting.The food was exquisite, the setting dreamlike and the service second to none. The 40 minute jeep drive from the main road down a very bumpy, twisty track descending 3000 ft is not for the feint hearted, but for others it may add to the adventure. The drivers were marvellous. We never fealt unsafe.

Villa Song Saigon: "Absolutely Beautiful"

"We arrived at Villa Song late at night and staff where more than happy to accommodate our request for food and drinks. Situated right on the river this small hotel is amazing Located in district 1 it is about 30 minutes from the airport in peak time. This is a bonus as you like you are a million miles away. Mr Yega Thiyagarajan the General Manager is a wealth of knowledge from places to eat or things to do he is more than happy to help Villa Song is a special place that I know we will visit again and again"

Misool Eco Resort: "🌴☀️🐟 Рай на земле 🌴☀️🐟"

"Это действительно райское место, земной рай именно там! Отдыхали здесь с мужем и друзьями, первый раз мне не хотелось уезжать домой Отель великолепный, номера - это бунгало на воде, под тобой снуют маленькие акулки и множество прекрасных рыбок. В номере есть все необходимое, холодильник, сейф, кондиционер. Убираются несколько раз в день. Кухня заслуживает особого внимания, завтрак обед и ужин включены в программу. Есть еще второй завтрак и перекус в 5 часов, повар виртуоз, меню за 7 дней нашего пребывания ни разу не повторилось, все очень вкусно и красиво. Блюда приготовлены и оформлены как в хороших ресторанах. Всегда большое количество овощей, для вегетарианцев тоже раздолье. Всегда есть фреши и фрукты в вазе, можно перекусить по дороге на дайвинг:) Между дайвами можно сходить на традиционный массаж, 90 минут релакса и кайфа, мы оттуда выползали совершенно счастливыми:) Подводный мир, наверное, самый красивый в мире. Манты, черепахи, акулы, наполеоны, огромное разнообразие кораллов и губок, величайшее разнообразие мелких и крупных рыбешек, ну очень красиво. Отдых был великолепен, недели оказалось маловато:( Но мы обязательно повторим эту поездку. Огромное спасибо всему персоналу, каждый старался сделать наш отдых прекрасным и незабываемым. Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Amazing food and service"

The chef was amazing, very personable and greeted all his guests. The food was amazing and we tried both menus. I have to follow a gluten free diet and the chef made sure that some elements were changed for me. However, saying that there was very little on the menu I couldn't eat. Very fresh tasting food and good value. The service was amazing and we had a very relaxed meal. Will definitely be visiting again,

Manda De Laos: "Great experience, great celebration and great food"

"Went there yesterday evening for my wife secret birthday so emailed the restaurant few weeks ago as we knew we would be in Luang Prabang that specific day. The restaurant manager replied really promptly confirming dates hours etc. The restaurant looks stunning and give you a first great impression. Our good surprise was to find out that the restaurant manager gave us the special table in the middle of the pond so you get your privacy. I didn't know even myself so was really impressed and happy. Makes it quite romantic and perfect for the occasion. Food also was great, we had lao pork meatballs to start to share, for main we had the ribs and duck, was delicious. For desert we were full so shared a lovely coconut creme brulee. Then came another surprise after our desert with staff bringing another desert with candle and singing happy birthday. Such a nice and sweet attention mainly when I did not ask for anything but manager had the note from my reservation it was special occasion. We truly enjoyed our dinner and can only recommend it. Not a criticism as it did not affect our happiness but small constructive information, the cocktail menu has lots of vodka based drinks (all expect one based on whisky). Unfortunately that's the only alcohol my wife does not drink so would be nice to have other cocktail options. The other thing more informative for people who have never been, the food is quite refine and we would usually not go when travelling in South East Asia. It was mainly because it was special occasion for us so if you are like us you might not enjoy it but again all was amazing. It is definitely more expensive than average Lao prices but not overpriced for the service and food we had. Just thought I would mention this as I saw some bad reviews on this place which I think is more due to choosing not suitable place than the restaurant itself not being great. Hope that make sense. Basically just enjoy this amazing restaurant."

Nam Bo Boutique Hotel: "Superb hitel"

Stayed here for 2 nights in a corner suite. These are the best as they have brilliant views with 3 sets of doors onto balconies. Absolutely fantastic hotel and very helpful staff. Our breakfast was served in the restaurant on the top floor, where we could sit outside. The quality of the food was excellent. Although it was extremely hot the staff found fans to cool us down. I would definitely recommend it and would gladly return.
