Mie Cafe: "my number two in Siem Reap"
nice, small restaurant with friendly staff and good, innovative food. We were very well taken care of and left the restaurant happy. And for all those Swiss who know what a "Röstiraffel" is, watch out for some of the lamps. Very nice and an excellent idea which I will copy at home! I can highly recommend this restaurant and I am happy that the owner of Wat Damrak told us to go there.Mudanwan Villa: "Tranquil and GREAT hot spring facilities"
"I have stayed in Mudanwan for 2 night with my family. We got a big room on the ground floor with our own hot spring pool and swimming pool in the back yard (privacy guaranteed), a large bathroom with another indoor hot spring pool, two king size beds, and it was just fabulous!!! We went for a full board package and the food was just gorgeous and fresh! There's a 24 hr juice/snack bar too. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and the services were just great. We really had a fantastic time there. Although the location is really in the middle of nowhere, they do offer a nice shuttle service. "Locavore: "Best dining experience ever had"
Perfection! Each course was an explosion of color and flavor. True art. Though small portions, this allowed you to try each dish without getting full and get to enjoy to the end. In the end, you were satiated with a 2 1/2hr performance. The kitchen had more chefs than customers. Each with own role and working calmly and harmoniously as a team. This was very impressive how they created art! Would definitely go again.Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Fantastic Stay"
"Four of us stayed at Neeleshwar over the new year period. Staff are amazing and the spa fabulous. The resort does its best to make your stay peaceful. The pool is a very good size and the beach breathtaking. Our cottages were beautiful, clean and in very good condition. We absolutely loved the seafood restaurant on the beach. It is an adult environment so sometimes noisy children can distract from this. The resort probably needs to be MORE clear with parents that only well behaved children and parents who take responsibility for their children should stay here."Slow Villas and Spa: "Hidden little secret"
"Slow is located on the eastern part of Gili Air - it s a small island, but this area is still quiet, with many coconuts and few construction. Each villa is a little private sanctuary, with a large garden, a nice pool, a terrace. charming decoration, quality linen... and the possibility if you like to have a chef to come and cook a BBQ just for you. Very friendly team, happy to share their favorite spots around the island. it's not right on the beach... but this is why also it's so quiet... and beach is 2mn walk! recommended: take a bike and go around the island by bike!"Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Perfect end to an unforgettable Kerala tour"
Perfect sea view villa, blissful pool, deserted beach, breakfast on the beach, fabulous fresh fish dinners. Every effort was made by the staff to make our stay perfect. Great Ayurvedic massages by polite considerate staff. Loved the incense lit in the room at sundown. Even had a shirt made! We will definitely return.Jing’s Residence: "Terrific stay, best in Pingyao"
My family of four stayed 2 terrific nights at Jing's Residence in November 2016. The staff was incredibly attentive, and very engaging and friendly to our two young children. The hotel is beautiful, clean and well appointed. Wonderful atmosphere. Fantastic food, also. Location is perfect for exploring Pingyao, and the hotel can arrange a reasonably priced car and driver to nearby attractions. Highly recommend this hotel to stay, and the restaurant also. Pingyao - due in part to how much we liked Jing's Residence - was one of my favorite experiences in China over four years living here.4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Relaxation at its best!"
"In real estate it all about location location and location. My husband and I stayed for three days escaping the hustle of Shanghai. Once you arrive at the lodge you realize all the troubles of modern city life just doesn't matter. Each guest becomes a member of your extended family as you hold exciting conversations about their travels over a delicious dinner that changes everyday. Around 9pm everything just goes silent and you will get some of the best sleep you ever had in your life. If you can rise in the morning as the sun climbs over the mountain and enjoy the coolness of the start of the day. Breakfast have a stabled set but staff is willing to alternate for your taste. We decided to see a local school along the river and it makes you appreciate the efforts of the teachers and students to make their society a better place. There are other trips like to the waterfalls and fisherman village that we did on previous visits. A note to travelers, the Tatai waterfalls isnt as strong in Feb due to it not being raining season (we also visited 4Rivers in Sept of 2013 and you get a wonderful natural massage as the water cascades on your body). Visiting 4Rivers gives you an added perspective of life in Cambodia and is a must see on your life list! Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Beautiful retreat, great staff, fabulous food!"
The Hermitage is that rare perfect mix of relaxation & activities . The spa is second to none, but also be sure to do the free yoga each morning at 8am- and book a package to include meditation and extra yoga if you can. Go to the temple trip one evening and also the plantation walk.Rachamankha: "Secluded heaven"
This hotel is wonderful. Although Chiang Mai is nothing like Bangkok in terms of traffic it is Thailand's second largest city and can be very busy in places. This hotel in the old town is down a really quiet street yet you can walk to the temples, shopping areas etc very easily. It is beautiful - you can tell that it has been designed by architects. The staff are helpful and polite. The whole place exudes calm. Our room was lovely and the pool area is just stunning and never seems to be that busy. Breakfast was fantastic and we ate there one night and had a great dinner too. I would definitely stay here again when in Chiang Mai.Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
