David’s Kitchen: "The BEST pumpkin soap EVER"
"After reading the reviews on TripAdvisor, I made a reservation online for celebrating my sister's birthday. It is simple and convenient. That night was fully booked, David greeted me and my sisters on self, then the receptionist brought us to the table immediately. It was so sweet that a greeting card with our names and a birthday card was prepared. We ordered three dinner set and oysters. The serving speed was just right. There are three types of bread, which you can refill. Started with The Salmon Gravlax and Oysters and then the Pumpkin soup. The Pumpkin soup is definitely a highlight!! It has rich pumpkin taste and creamy. The fried sweet potato ball was perfectly matched with the soup. I was surprised with the soup, which was the BEST pumpkin soup EVER! After that, a lemon sorbet was served to clean up the aftertaste. It was so considerate. The main dishes are also tasty, while, the Paris mash is really great. It has a strong taste of truffles. LOVE it. The team sang a birthday song to my sister before the desserts were served, highly recommended the Sticky toffee pudding with vanilla bean ice cream. David was nice, he kept chatting with the guests for the whole night. The little details showed his caring and respect. I feel so warm. Just wanna thanks the whole DK team, giving us a perfect night! If you have any doubts, just don't hesitate to make an online reservation and try it yourself."Reverie Siam Pai: "A Truly Relaxing Paradise in Pai"
Our stay at Revere Siam was exactly what we needed. It was the perfect getaway, surrounded by nature with a mountain backdrop in a peaceful area of Pai! We went with the elegantly designed villa that had a Jacuzzi in the bathroom, and a big private garden. From the second we entered our villa we could clearly see they put some love and serious thought into designing this stunning hotel. To be honest the entire property was just breathtaking! The staff are friendly and the environment is peaceful! We spent most of our time in Pai at Revere Siam relaxing by the pool, enjoying the Jacuzzi and eating delicious meals (Lamb & Salmon dishes are top notch delicious, so is the breakfast) at their Mediterranean restaurant instead of exploring Pai. This resort is truly a paradise. We will definitely come back here again, no doubt about it!Mudanwan Villa: "Tranquil and GREAT hot spring facilities!"
"I have stayed in Mudanwan for 2 night with my family. We got a big room on the ground floor with our own hot spring pool and swimming pool in the back yard (privacy guaranteed), a large bathroom with another indoor hot spring pool, two king size beds, and it was just fabulous!!! We went for a full board package and the food was just gorgeous and fresh! There's a 24 hr juice/snack bar too. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and the services were just great. We really had a fantastic time there. Although the location is really in the middle of nowhere, they do offer a nice shuttle service."Villa Song Saigon: "Sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle"
My sister and I ducked over from Singapore for two full days.We were always treated like we were the only ones there. In fact we were the only ones on the motel speedboat on both days in and out of the city at the times we requested to leave and get picked up,maybe busier in the high season. We felt we got to feel the entire vibe of Ho Chi Minh City between the taxi from the airport, the boat into town and nearly two full days just walking(without getting run over) around. The pool is great and the day spa compared to Aud standards was more than affordable .It may not be the cheapest accomodation in town but treat yourselfTugu Lombok: "A slice of tropical paradise"
"In a 3-week adventure around Bali and Lombok, the Tugu Lombok was our absolute favourite place that we stayed, hands down. The resort is stunning, the grounds are impeccable, the rooms are extraordinarily beautiful. The beach is white sand and turquoise waters. Every meal we ate (in both restaurants) was absolutely delicious. The breakfast spread is fantastic (with a particularly amazing fruit plate) and the assortment of snorkelling equipment, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards is a great way to pass afternoons on the water. Things are laid out so that you never feel crowded. But by far the best thing about Tugu Lombok is the staff. Everyone, from Sharon, the GM, and Henry, her right hand man, to the spectacular restaurant staff, spa team, housekeeping staff, and security, were the epitome of hospitality. The staff are professional, knowledgeable, and polite, and everything they do is heartfelt and done with a smile. They anticipated our every need before we even expressed them and made us feel enormously welcome during our entire stay. We can't recommend this spot enough to anyone travelling to Lombok (and even if you're not, you might want to change your plans to include the Tugu). One small note on rooms - we had read through previous TripAdvisor reviews and decided to take the overwhelmingly consistent advice to splurge on a Bhagavat Gita suite and we were completely blown away by the beauty and design of these extraordinary villas. "Rahai'i Pangun Wildlife River Cruises: "a dive in pure nature"
"AMAZING! this is the feeling when you are on the beautiful Sekonyer Boat by Wow Borneo. In the middle of the jungle, with its humidity, light, sounds, colors, yet you feel comfortable on the boat, pampered by the crew... from food, to attentions ... and their eyes are so used to spot any animals that we managed to see orangutans, crocodiles, many birds and moneys, irrawaddy dolphins..."Tugu Malang: "Fantastisch"
Have fallen in love with the Tugu Malang. Received at check-in sincerely and could choose a room. The service was 1A. The facility is decorated with enormously wide variety of artifacts. The breakfast (included) was indescribably good. From more than 15 (!) Pages we could choose our wide variety of dishes. only the hotel would come back due to Malang.Sandat Glamping Tents: "The best accommodation I have ever experienced, bar none"
"Where to start? I was a bit uncertain about the 'glamping' concept. But upon arrival I was instantly won over. My fiance and I were blown away by the design, comfort, beauty and cleanliness of the 'tent' we stayed in (the word scarcely does it justice). We stayed in the 'Ylang-Ylang' suite. Our own plunge pool, isolated from the world and facing deep into the jungle was perfect for quick dips to cool down from sunbathing, reading and generally relaxing. The wonderful staff even added rose petals in the evening of our last night, which was very romantic and an incredible touch. The circular bed was supremely comfortable and a great size (surprisingly - I'm 6'3). Every detail of the room was beautiful and perfectly presented. The area is a short drive from Ubud. The free shuttle service into and out of Ubud worked seamlessly, and the drivers were very happy, friendly and great to talk to. The breakfast was amazing. There were hot savoury Indonesian options, freshly brewed Kopi Bali (Balinese coffee), fresh pastries and muffins, incredible spreads (like local mango honey and coffee honey), and more. Breakfast is available from 7.30 - 11.30 - which suited us perfectly for our lazy, relaxing stay. Other reviews have mentioned insects and wildlife, so I will add that we didn't have any issues whatsoever. You should of course apply sunscreen and bug spray liberally whenever you go outside in Bali, and then you'll be fine. Lastly the staff here were just incredible. From Buda, our shuttle driver, to Wayan the yoga instructor who gave us our own personal lesson in the most incredible setting amongst the rice fields, to the amazing receptionist who after we complimented her on her local jewellery offered for us to take it(!!), to Tengo, the lovely manager who drove us all the way to the airport on our last day when the resort was short-staffed due to a religious festival. Please extend our personal thanks to everyone! This review might sound over the top, but I really am wondering how I will find another resort, ever, that will match Sandat. We absolutely adored the comfort, ambiance and the incredibly friendly staff. We will definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone."4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "<3"
A few days before the trip, I happened to feel insecure about the trip. Because it was my first time to go such an adventurous place without my family members. As the day came, i still joined with my friends. My first impression about the hotel was the "Security" that they gave to me. I was actually over thinking about how dangerous it was to visit a place located in the middle of the river surrounded by the forest. But I felt relieved as they did everything they could to have my trust. My second impression was the interaction between the people and the environment. It was so refreshing and beautiful. That's how the nature is supposed to be like. My third impression would be the hotel, 4 Rivers Floating Lodge itself. It was incredibly amazing how the products that were placed in the hotel were actually could be decomposed and not going to effect the environment. The facilities that we needed in our daily life were placed in the hotel too even though it's on the river. I felt so safe and secure because they provided materials that could save us in some cases. The people were so nice and polite. The foods was great in every meals and the transportation was good too. I've learned something new there. I hope to visit that place again <3Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "paradise found"
we as a family of 4 (kids 9 & &) spent 3 nights at Golden Buddha over Thai New Year. We were all completely blown away by the natural beauty of the island and its wildlife. It was a trek to get there but was a price well worth paying. We stayed in Tongsai which was a charming house at the beach front. It is old fashioned luxury minus air con or electricity at night! The service was excellent as you would expect from the Thai people as well as Massi from Italy. We did a jeep safari which I would definitely recommend. We had a very knowledgeable and personable American guide called Brennan. The whole experience was just magical and one we shall never forget.
