Sukoon Houseboat: "Best Houseboat Experience"

The place is extremely peaceful Lives upto the name sukoon = peace The food is exceptional and staff is very helpful. The service is better than five star hotels. The upper deck is great for experiencing the calm Dal lake. This is my second stay here... And totally recommend it.

Rachamankha: "An oasis of tranquilliy"

"The Rachamankha hotel is a true gem, an oasis of peace right in the city of Chiang Mai. We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, and it was a perfect stay. The hotel is located just a few minutes walk from the Wat Phra Singh temple, and close to the Sunday Night Market. Taking a taxi from the airport takes only 15 minutes, and the everywhere inside the old center of Chiang Mai is walking distant. The rooms are located inside a courtyard that is secluded from the busy street outside, and it is very quite and peaceful. The staff is incredibly attentive and helpful, and guests are felt welcome from the moment they step inside. The architecture of the hotel is very elegant yet understated, and so are the rooms, which face the inner courtyard. The rooms have ample space, and complimentary amenities include slippers, bathrobe, umbrellas for the rainy days, fruit, and water bottles which are refilled daily. The breakfast is very good, with a buffet of bread, fruit, pastries and cereal, and the choice of items from an a la carte menu such as eggs, omelette, waffles and french toast. The quality of the breakfast and the service at the table is excellent. The swimming pool, located at the back of the hotel is big enough considering the smaller number of rooms, and was never too crowded during our stay. It is possible to also get massages in a building next to the pool, and the prices for poolside drinks are very competitive for Western standards. Overall our stay at Rachamankha was great, and it is hard to find a negative about the hotel. The price is high compared to the average room priced in Chiang Mai, but the quality is more than enough to justify it. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my fiends and family for their future travel plans."

Rachamankha: "An Oasis of Peace"

"My wife and I stayed for just one night at the Rachamankha hotel at the end of our wonderful holiday in Laos (courtesy of Pandaw) and Northern Thailand. It was just perfect, from the large beautiful room, to the restful swimming pool, to the bar and dining room. Its close to the main temple, and also for last minute souvenir shopping, the ""walking street"". The quality of service was outstanding, and our evening meal, just a light one, tasted amazing. I almost didn't want to write a review, as I would like this place to stay as it is, an oasis in the midst of a vibrant city. When we come back to ChiangMai, as I hope we will, this hotel will be a no-brainer of a choice."

Manda De Laos: "Be cautious"

"First of all the place is lovely, set around 3 Lilly ponds. At night the lights are magical.try and book a pond side booth or table. The food: the portions are very large, the menu tempting but try not to over order. Food highlights: the Luang Prabang salad with Scott egg( a perfect one plate lunch in itself.the tanguy duck was perfectly cooked but the tarmarind sauce could have been richer. The pork and watercress soup was devine. Service was spot on and the new French manager was delightful. Budget on 850,000 for 2 with wine water and service Perfect for a romantic dinner/ celebration"

Mume: "Exquisite"

We arrived for the early sitting on a Monday evening, and were struck again by the understated mood lighting and spare design and furnishing. There was an exciting bustle from the wait staff and chefs and everyone seemed genuinely energized to engineer a great experience for the customers. As expected, the options were exotic, yet approachable and we each chose a perfect fit for our four courses. The food was exquisitely presented, so much so that we were disappointed to disturb each artwork to consume it. The staff took the time to explain each course as it was offered, just enough information to enhance the experience, but not too much: all delivered in perfect English for us. A taste sensation and a very enjoyable ambiance. Thanks, Mume, once again!

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Amazing hotel"

We spent 3 nights here at the beginning of August and the whole experience was fantastic. The tents are incredible and I love the fact there are no TVs or ACs. The staff were excellent, and really went above and beyond. The location is stunning and we really enjoyed the trip to the waterfall and kayaking around. I would definitely go back in a heartbeat

The Village House: "Best homestay in Kuching, Sarawak"

"Approximately 40 mins from Kuching International airport to The Village House (taxi ride is about MYR60/ car). This place is a total gem, very well hidden (no kidding as there's nothing much to explore around this homestay except for a quiet beach). If you're going for a short weekend to relax & chill with friends or couple, then this would probably be the best choice but if you're thinking to have a party there, maybe not unless you've pre-booked all their rooms! Food and drinks (Tiger/ Heineken beer per bottle is about MYR15 each) are available from morning till 10:30pm at night only (so pre-ordered your food/ drinks before they closed). Staff will clocked off after 10:30pm (Bar/ Cafe will be closed) but 1 of the staff who's staying next to this place is easily located incase of any emergency. I must say their sandwiches & Nasi Goreng Kampung is amazing but Potato wedges (do not try this if you're a big fan of wedges!) & Sarawak Curry Laksa definitely needs some improvement. Prices are affordable. (You can have your food billed to your room & make payment only when you check-out. Visa/ Master card accepted but with 3% surcharge incurred. AMEX not acceptable unfortunately). Rooms & bathroom (attached) are very clean and the air-condition can get pretty strong if you've it switched on the whole day (warning!). The only problem is they've very thin walls if you do not want to be heard by next door or anyone downstairs! They've extremely helpful and attentive staff here named Ms.Aliffah and Flora as they've helped us get our missing mobile phones (left it near the pool area at night), call and arrange our transportation. If you're not a local like me, you can even get some travel tips from them! The nearest sightseeing place is Sarawak Culture Village which is about 10 mins drive away (Daytime transportation is about MYR5/ way by car). If you want to explore downtown city centre, it'll be about 30 mins car ride (that'll cost you MYR60/ car per way). Do ensure you make prior transportation arrangement with the staff as there's seriously no transportation available there. I'm already missing this place and just can't wait to be back!"

The Hue House: "Excellent service and food"

This was my first visit to Ho Chi Minh and been to this restaurant 3 times for dinner during my stay of 5 nights there. The food was fantastic, price reasonable, excellent and friendly service from crews especially crew name Anh Phuc. My family has good time here. Appreciated. Definately will visit again on my next trip.

Maduzi Hotel: "A hidden gem – excellent in its way"

"This is a beautiful place, hidden next to the Exchange Tower. The location is quite convenient with walking distance to nearby shopping mall and the train station. We were greeted by friendly and staff members with an attitude of ever wanting to help, so the check in process was easy. The rooms were big and great. Extremely large bed and comfortable bed. It is truly a hidden gem. I would recommend this place and would certainly book again if I were to go to Bangkok. Stayed April 2017, traveled with friends"

Anopura: "A lovely escape"

My mother and I had one of the nicest stays of our trip to India here. The food is excellent. The staff are lovely and the location is peaceful.It was a nice break from the frenetic cities of Rajasthan. The accommodation is excellent. The decor is very tasteful. We regretted not being able to stay a second night. The staff are very well trained. They are helpful without being intrusive.
