Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Just Fantastic"
"My mum and I stayed here in the luxury tent and it was fantastic. I poked my nose in the more Safari style tent and it was too basic for me but other people seemed to enjoy the adventure. The luxury lodge was air conditioned, spacious, comfortable, ensuite, hot water etc... the lounge for pre and post dinner drinks was welcoming and friendly, the food was AMAZING and the chef will do a cooking demo if you ask. We saw six leopards over four drives, just delighted. We used the back gate of block one and also block five. Such a pleasant experience, not crowded and very successful. When we checked out they asked for feedback, I said a pool would be good - half joking! It's coming! But it's fantastic without anyway. Go go go! Stayed March 2017, traveled with family"Chakrabongse Villas: "Off the Scale !"
We arrived in Bangkok with a few hours to discover the city and enjoy the hotel. Wow - there are not enough words except to say Thank you Paul Walker at Secret - Retreats - what a place and what an amazing hotel. This is not a hotel its an experience and without doubt the best place to stay in Bangkok ! A royal palace with a difference, ooozing style, charm and service you cannot ask for anything better ! Thank you xxxjing: "Fabulous hotel"
"Jing's Residence is in the medieval part of PingYao and is beautifully restored. The staff was very gracious and attentive and the food was delicious. I had a wonderful massage that I thoroughly enjoyed. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to PingYao. "The Cabochon Hotel: "Beautiful place, lovely stay"
Had a wonderful stay here recently. The building itself was a wonder, and the rooftop pool a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Breakfast was excellent, as were the staff. Wish we had stayed more than the one night, so will have to return next time we are in Bangkok.Jings Residence: "Clear winner"
"In 5 weeks of travel across mainland China, this is the standout, hands down, fantastic winner. The staff, guided by the competent and gracious host, Imam, are truly unique for their hospitality within China. Everything was meticulously prepared and organized, from check in to tea service to additional activities within the hotel. Keep up the great work and the friendly hospitality."Villa Mathis: "Best luxury hotel i ever experienced"
"I travel a lot to thousands of destinations but this one is absolutely incredible. I never had a feeling like i am in paradise the music , the food , the atmosphere everything is perfect I recommend to everyone to go there you will not be disappointed If i could put a 10 star i definitely would"Tugu Bali: "Aesthetic delights"
"Hotel Tugu is a different hotel than most, and for me - better. Why? I stayed in a suite, more expensive than my custom but I loved the space, the views, the lily pond below and the style of accommodation. The idea of Tugu is that it houses a collection of antique Indonesia art - which I loved - and the hotel itself is designed to be congruent with the art it houses. So you have a place with a quality of history, of character and of class - all at the same time. It is comfortable, the facilities are excellent, I ate extremely well and most noticeably, I was so well looked after by all of the staff there. I would happily return, and that is my best recommendation."Bassac Cruises: "A “must-do” to really see the Mekong in style"
We took the one night cruise on Bassac 2. The programme is lunch and afternoon cruise, visit to local village, dinner and evening cruise to anchorage, breakfast and morning cruise to disembarkation point with visit to floating market and noodle making. For us this was a perfect itinerary and duration and a great insight into life in this enormous and important area of Vietnam. The food, particularly lunch was fantastic. Continental breakfast also had hot food. The boat is a joy with plenty of seating space even though the boat was full. The guide, An, was brilliant.Mathis Retreat: "Lovely boutique hotel – perfect hideaway"
"I stayed here for a week and I miss it everyday! For the first part of the week, it was me and a girlfriend who came to Ubud to get away from the city, do a little exploring and do some yoga. We weren't sure if we wanted to stay in Ubud the whole time or go somewhere else in Bali, but after two nights, we extended our stay. One of our favourite things was having breakfast looking at out the private rice fields every morning, it was so relaxing. The pool had the perfect view. The hotel had a really good balance between a tranquil relaxed vibe, without being sleepy, and had some really good tunes throughout the day by the pool too (I ended up asking them for their playlist). The hotel was just a 10 minute scooter ride into town, which meant everything was really accessible without it being crazy all the time. My friend ended up going home early and I stayed on for an extra 2 days. The staff took such good care of me. And as a solo female traveler, safety is extremely important. They was so lovely and even taught me some Indonesian. The GM was super lovely and very hands on, she would come by and chat with the guests, without being intrusive. It was such a wonderful trip and the hotel was a huge part of it. Seriously, great rooms, great resto (really good food!), great view and great staff. I would definitely come back!"Chakrabongse Villas: "Wow!"
This must be one of the finest residences I have ever stayed in. Imagine you are in the centre of Bangkok right by Wat Pho (totally frenetic) but inside the hotels grounds is a sea of calm and tranquility and right in front you have your own deck right on the banks of the Chao Praya river. Fantastic. We also chose to eat at their restaurant one night, for non residents there's a 3 month waiting list. The food and service were superb. The hotel also has its own long tail boat on which we had a 2 hour sunset trip, bumpy but amazing!
