Sandat Glamping Tents: "Best service – they go the distance every time"

Review by: TiaraEffendi | Source: Trip Advisor
"I can't say enough for Pak Tengo, Pak Made and the team at Sandat Glamping. They went out of their way to make our stay the most memorable ever. We were here during the month of Ramadan and were observing the Muslim fast, and needed to have our breakfast before sunrise each morning, at 4am, each day of our stay. The chef and wait staff stayed overnight everyday just to be able to prepare our meals for us, which was really very kind of them. They would go out of their way to organise anything at any time, for their guests - we had a massage for all 4 of us set up in the comfort of our rooms, with portable air conditioning upon request as well. I love the views of the vast paddy fields around Sandat, and waking up to the crowing of a cockerel, which just takes you to such a happy peaceful place, far from the madness of Monkey Forest Road and all the other more ""touristy"" parts of Ubud. Emanuela and Federico have done a super job setting up this ""Glamp"" so tastefully, from the unique bamboo structures and the trendy decor throughout the resort (I especially LOVE the ultra long table and wall of mirrors at the restaurant), and they have assembled a team of front office, housekeeping and kitchen staff well worthy of winning many, many more awards. If you've never experienced glamping, you should give it a go here, at least once in your lifetime. It's well worth the trek."

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Historical beauty"

Review by: 22112-mlmm | Source: Trip Advisor
What a special and unique place to stay. Amazing high ceilings and fabulous architecture. VERY hot water in the shower and the nicest linen I’ve slept on in a long time. Breakfast was delicious. Didn’t eat other meals in the hotel but the menu looked great. The pool is in a sweet back garden which we had all to ourselves. No good for exercise but perfect for dipping, splashing and cooling off. Well located for a wonder to Love Lane and a gentle walk home after too much hawker food. I love this place. Staff were friendly and helpful but their English (although infinitely better than my Malay) not great.

Supanniga Eating Room: "Best Thai food in Thailand!"

Review by: Ryan M | Source: Trip Advisor
I realize my title is a bold claim. This is the food capital of the world, after all. (OK maybe NYC). But the passion for quality here is simply remarkable. The cabbage with fish sauce dish, for example, is so simple and yet mind-blowingly delicious. I believe this chef has another restaurant in BKK and one in NYC - both of which also get unbelievable reviews.

Kinabalu Park: "Charming"

Review by: khuzaimi2015 | Source: Trip Advisor
It was still cool but not as cool compared to a few years ago. The view near the foot of the Mount Kinabalu was nothing short of spectacular. There is a little gift shop that double as a little convenient store. Locals have to pay RM3 as an entrance fee.

tugu bali: "Special Place"

Review by: carolterry2016 | Source: tripadvisor.com
"We recently enjoyed an exceptional stay at the Tugu Bali with our family. Every element of our stay was outstanding starting with the most friendly staff. Always with a smile, going beyond to ensure our total satisfaction and understanding of this unique cultural hotel. We highly recommend the Tugu Bali, a very special place to stay ! "

Mathis Retreat: "Superbe Hotel, Un sejour memorable a Ubud"

Review by: Ben-Indo | Source: Trip Advisor
Everything was perfect, always smiling and helpful staff, infinity pool overlooking the rice fields, the breakfast very good and plentiful, the rooms beautifully decorated and arranged are very comfortable, fast WiFi throughout the hotel. Some rooms offer views breathtaking of rice fields, a beautiful sight to wake up! The hotel is quiet and intimate. This is a no-fault you can go for it.

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Idyllic Ayervedic break by the Arabian Sea"

Review by: Truth S | Source: Trip Advisor
This is a wonderful place to rejuvenate: attractive, comfortably furnished cottages, welcoming & helpful staff, excellent food prepared by highly skilled chef, superb treatments organised to address specific needs all set in a beautiful location. Excellent library. Great trips & events e.g Theyam, birdwatching, ashrams & temples.

The Village House: "Hidden Gem"

Review by: melanie o | Source: Trip Advisor
"Being a local, coming here felt like an 'easy escape.' Not much travelling needed but gives every good feeling a getaway would. Room is clean, tastefully decorated. The place felt very private which is perfect for if you want to 'escape' from people and just have a me time with yourself and your partner. Food is decent but don't expect much. However, having a quiet dinner by the pool and a rustic wooden decorated place helps a lot in adding the 'taste' to the food - in a good way. There isn't really much to do there - but that's what getaway are all about - you really just want to spent time in the room, doing nothing. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Stayed May 2016, traveled as a couple"

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Amazing"

Review by: ellycmc7 | Source: Trip Advisor
"The Mansion is divided into 3 parts - the boutique hotel, the heritage museum and the restaurant. We stayed there for 2 two nights and totally enjoyed it. Good: 1. Location of the Mansion is inside the UNESCO heritage site and very near other attractions. 2. Complimentary parking is available inside the compound of the Mansion. 3. Complimentary guided tour is available 3 times a day if you stay at the Mansion. 4. Rooms are huge and comfortable. 5. The swimming pool area is so relaxing and it's new! 6. Amenities provided are well thought of and of quality. 7. TV with 11 channels and WiFi in the room also available. 8. Check-in and check-out were easy and fast. 9. Security was good. Visitors not staying at the Mansion are not allowed access to the wings where the rooms are located during their tour of the Mansion. Needs attention/improvement: 1. Mosquitos in the room - mosquito repellant is provided in the room for you to use. 2. Breakfast was late on the day we were leaving. We rushed through breakfast. Additional info: 1. The tour was informative. Our guide mentioned almost everything that was in the book about the Mansion that we purchased from the gift shop after the tour. 2. The Indigo restaurant was really good. We love the food so much and the service was excellent."
