Maisons Wat Kor: "Beautiful hidden gem – perfect for a relaxing getaway"
Sadly we only stayed for one night, it is the perfect place to relax especially since it is a little out of town. The Cambodian style villas are cozy with a good range of amenities (just wish they provided some shampoo and shower gel in the bathrooms), the pool and pond areas are lovely with all the tropical plants and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the morning sitting on the deck overlooking the lotus flower pond and the afternoon swimming in the pool (surprisingly the water was cool despite the heat). The food in the restaurant was fresh and delicious. The server went out of his way to cut us fresh coconuts from the tree. Definitely a place to return to for another weekend getaway.4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "A Wonderful Experience"
We stayed here recently for 3 nights at the end of a month long tour of Vietnam and Cambodia.Everything about it was fantastic. The location, the wonderful luxurious tents, the food, the friendly helpful service by all of the staff, the excursions...it was all magical. We did the early morning jungle trek and the boat trip to a remote village and kayaking in the mangroves. Our guide was so helpful and interesting (sorry can't remember his name) and it was lovely to see his family waving from their home just over the river. We also took kayaks (my first ever venture) and crossed the river to visit the local village. We were greeted by one of the families, given a tour around by foot to some of the villagers homes and they went out of their way to get fresh coconuts down for us to drink. The whole setting is wonderful and was such a relaxing treat after such a hectic holiday. We would thoroughly recommend 4 Rivers, we only wish we could returnCABOCHON: "The Friendliest place in BKK"
"I do not have enough words for how much I liked this hotel. I was traveling alone with a 10 month old baby (something that can be a bit hard from time to time as you have noone to share the work with). At Cabochon we had a great shelter to return to from the busy streets. Even though I love the whole style of this hotel I still think that the team is what makes it really really special. They are genuine friendly and independent and cared so much for us. Everyone is child friendly. I was able to arrange babysitting with them to go to a spa one evening. On top of this they have a great restaurant attached to the hotel which I can highly recommend. Since everyone wanted to play with my son I was also able to enjoy a peaceful dinner on my own which was quite nice. Breakfast is a treat and you can choose from a selection of breakfast types. We enjoyed an asian breakfast and it was my favourite on this journey. Apart from this the hotel is just beautiful and has a calm and cool colonial flair in the middle of the hot and dirty city. We enjoyed our stay at Cabochon so much that I can not praise this hotel enough! "Supanniga Eating Room: "Nice atmosphere with great service"
Nice food! And drinks! With a great service staff from the restaurant, and a very conducive environment for gatherings, a must go place for a catch-up for friends and families.Kinabalu Park: "Best place to stay when visiting Kinabalu"
Yes, Sutera is expensive--but in this case, it's worth it. It is by far the nicest accommodation close to the park, and so convenient being inside the park. The rooms are beautiful, with nice views and ample amenities. Breakfast is included, you only have to pay park entry for your first day at the park if you're staying overnight, and wifi is available for in-house guests at Liwagu Restaurant.Babe: "Market Malaysia"
Amazing experience. Incredible food, presentation and service. The creativity was out of this world. An experience that everyone should experience.Slow Villas and Spa: "Book it now, its amazing!"
"We spent the first week of our honeymoon here. Its a really well thought through place with plenty of attention to details and a eco- thinking. The staff is super friendly. Since the beaches in Gili air is not that great, we really enjoyed having a private pool. It was the best stay during our Gili-Bali round trip and we would give our recommendations to go here, you will not be disappointed by Slow Villas"Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "The most amazing experience"
"O h my goodness! These people know about customer service! Not only the nicest people running this but really smart too. Knew everything about the wildlife so it was a great learning experience and so interesting. The level of detail they have gone into to make this a truly exceptional experience is unbelievable. The food is probably the best I've had in Sri Lanka and that's saying something! The accommodation is clean and so well designed. We were lucky enough to be staying in the beautiful master bedroom tent which is truly exquisite. Showering under the stars in complete privacy and safety is something I will remember forever. Our two teenage sons found this to be an awesome experience and as we know, teenagers can be a tough crowd to please! Sadly, we didn't see any leopards on either of the two drives but we did see plenty of other interesting wildlife. Others we met had seen some leopards on their drives so we were just unlucky and that can't be helped. None the less it was the highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka without question."The Cabochon Hotel: "To date, my favourite hotel in the world"
"Simply put, you won't want to leave. Cabochon feels every inch a five star boutique hotel - the staff know your name, the barmen know your orders and the exquisite rooftop pool calls daily. Well situated close to transport and nightlife, but situated back away from the madness - this really is the best way to experience the city."Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Easter holida"
Our stay at the Golden Buddha Resort was magnificent, truly magical. We knew getting there was going to be a bit of a trek, but it was really worth it. The location by the sea is great, the beach was vast and empty, each tree-house beautifully furnished and our son liked it too (the pool table, the pizzas at the beach-bar and wifi at the clubhouse especially) It's a place to enjoy nature, where you can reflect, breathe and simply live. With a few added bits of luxury the resort had the perfect balance for us. We stayed at Baan Marina which was beautiful, spent most of our days at the resort (close to the beach bar) and the club house in the evening, playing pool, cards or reading after food. The staff were ever so friendly, Massi and Pena were the perfect hosts. If we would recommend anything, it would be good to offer a few alternative dishes in the evening for kids although saying that we thought the chef was really excellent. Breakfast was a treat too! Thanks to everyone at Golden Buddha for the lovely memories, we loved it!
