Heritage Suites Hotel: "Best hotel of our trip"
Our guide told us there are 400 hotels in Siem Reap, well I am pleased we stayed at heritage suites. We enjoyed the pick up in the old car and the welcome drink and towels. I had booked the basic room as we did not expect to spend much time in the room and was delighted to to escorted to one of the garden suites. We voted it the best room we had of all the rooms on our trip. The service of the staff was excellent. Enjoyed happy hour and a light lunch by the pool. We booked our tour of Angkor wat through the hotel and it was well worth it our guide was excellent and managed to make the tour as individual as possible and I did not feel one of the masses and his knowledge of the temples and his insight into Cambodia was superb. A wonderful end to our trip around Vietnam and Cambodia my only regret was that we only had two nights .Manda De Laos: "Mesmerizing setting at night, great cuisine"
Manda de Laos sits on the sides of a beautiful pond, with lilies and fairy lights, that give a close to magical atmosphere to your dinner. Lovely (and delicious).Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Not Just A Hotel But An Experience"
"GOOD: -historical and cultural hotel with a vast Chinese history -price is relatively high in Penang but it is worthy definitely -huge room, clean washroom even it looks old (looks old, not physically old) -consistent and thoughtful interior from the lobby to the stairs, from the atrium to the room, you will feel you are in the old China -nice place for breakfast BAD: -as there is a lot of open area and trees, do expect there will be mosquito in your room, you better check once otherwise you will be bitten like a fresh meat that I experienced Room Tip: Old but Not Physically Old"Supanniga Eating Room: "Great Food that makes me wanna be a Thai"
I just can't take my eyes off the menu, huge variety of dishes and hold on, what is this? How come I have never seen such kind of food in BKK restaurants? My eyes just open wide when the friendly staffs serve the dishes on the table. Just love how the food is arranged meticulously on Thai-style plate. Truly authentic Thai recipes, simple ingredients but overwhelming taste. Could suppaniga launch cooking class? :PSatri House: "Best Hotel Ever!"
"Perfect hotel for who want very private & relaxing place. You will feel that you're perfectly cared by entire hotel associates and that will surely make you big fan of Satri. I would give 10 Stars Satri if I could! ^_^ Perfect room condition. Tasteful foods. Relaxing garden. Satri is not large but it has everything perfect."Labyrinth: "Revisit"
I love the food here for its creativity and presentation. Unfortunately both times that I came, I was barely satiated and had to look for “proper” food after the meal to fill me up. Always an interesting experience dining here, just wished the portions were bigger.SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Exceptional service"
The waiters were very helpful and explained in details on the dishes. Food was delicious and well prepared. Atmosphere was good. Chef personally greeted us a few times at the table and even walked us to the door when we left.Hotel Tugu Bali: "Hotel with Soul"
"If you are an art lover, history lover or luxury lover.. better yet... all three - THIS is your hotel. The minute you walk down the wooden planked front entrance, you know this is a special place. The hotel has been furnished from the owners private collection of antiques. Each piece has a story and specially placed on the property preserving his love of Balinese history. The antiques may be old, but the hotel has all modern wants for luxury but with the a unique touch in their boutique rooms. The baths & plunge pools are the highlight with tubs that you will want to build in your own home. This place is an oasis in Canggu."Maison Polanka: "A welcoming oasis with boutique charm"
Great for families and couples who are looking for tranquility and excellent service after long days at the temples. The rooms are clean, charming and tastefully appointed (we were 2 couples, we had the Khmer House for our parents and stayed in the Orange Room just across the way), and the pool and grounds are tidy and inviting. We enjoyed a couple of breakfasts and a dinner there -- the food was delicious and the setting so peaceful. I might only suggest that the early morning to-go breakfast be amended to forgo the heavy full sets of flatware and replace the bread slices for an omelet option or something. The generous coffee and hot chocolate thermoses were genius, though. My highest starts for this stay was for the service -- we were made to feel like we were the only guests there, though we weren't. Francis was a particular gem: so helpful over email before we arrived and exceedingly courteous and thoughtful about arrangements throughout our stay (important since my father-in-law has a prosthetic leg and doesn't fit well in small cars, and none of us are accustomed to humidity). I would return to Maison Polanka in an instant and already have recommended it to friends. I have no doubt it is one of the most special hotels in Siem Reap -- we enjoyed it even more than our consequent stays at luxury properties like the iconic Metropole Legend in Hanoi, Vietnam. It's just a lovely place with lovely people. The Village House: "Juweeltje , aanrader"
"We hebben hier 3 nachten vertoefd. Een oase van rust ( behalve de moskee met de roep voor het gebed ) Wij hadden de suite, met zeer groot balkon. Het eten is zeer goed. Personeel uitermate vriendelijk. Het internet is traag en niet op de kamer. Aanrader!"
