Jing’s Residence: "Live like a weathly merchant in Ancient China! The Real Experience!"
"I was a wealthy merchant 500 years ago...my home was full of carved wood and art and lavish fabrics..I had a staff eager to please my every need..I sat in my warm lush living room looking at the last bits of the sun as it set over my ornate terra cotta roof... This is a review of Mr Jings Residence..where you get to pretend to live in another time and place... Pingyao is an ancient walled city cut off from car traffic that looks and operates as it has for a thousand years. If you want to experience historical China this is the place to visit! It's crowded with Chinese tourists in spring and summer but still a must see. In a day you can do a quick tour and see the many restored museums, temples and explore the nooks and and secret walkways that make up this city. (...)The courtyards and sitting spaces laced into the ancient buildings..all your own private sanctuary in warmer weather... The restaurant chef and Jing's Restaurant staff were excellent. Unlike a lot of problems with service in China, the folks at Jing's were helpful, friendly and eager to please. A diverse menu of Thai, Chinese and western food was great. Their spring rolls were light, crispy and perfect!!! My Thai peanut chicken was sooo good! I wondered how the chef could source food in the dead of winter..but amazingly he did!My husband had pork that was fresh and savory. The folks at Jing's were always there to help..they even packed us a picnic of banana chocolate bread for our train ride to Beijing. This place is ancient, quiet and yet modern and luxurious. A must do for any visit to China! Bluntly, I would put Pingyao on any travel plan just to stay at Jing's Residence...It was that good!"The Island Lodge: "A bijou at the Mekong Delta"
Our stay at The Island Lodge was simply awesome. The food is great and the service is extremely polite and attentive. Michel has taken his time to personally talk to us and make guests feel welcome which is much appreciated and adds to the warm experience we had. The whole experience is rounded up with the nice swimming pool at the Mekong river and the Spa which invite to some relaxing moments.Mathis Retreat: "Le Must"
What happiness to have chosen this hotel for 3 nights in Ubud. I had heard so much noise in the city that I had decided to be a bit outside. Beautiful views of the rice fields. I stayed in a deluxe room. All rooms have views of the rice fields. Lots of charm in decoration. Warning only bathtub in the bathroom if He is apparently so go to the bungalow (shower and bath). A small dej to die. jams to die for .... The restaurant is excellent too. A very good chef director Karine fuss of these customers A short ParadisMie Cafe: "Charming, Delicious and Pretty"
We had a wonderful dinner here. Glad we made reservations as people were turned away. I had the vegetarian price fixe. It was perfect. Nice flavors and charming setting. we sat outside and could still see the prep work in the kitchen. I would highly recommend.tugu bali: "My Tugu Hotel Experience was nothing short of amazing"
"I am very late writing this review, but i have stayed at the Tugu Hotel in Bali a few times now. and it is nothing short of paradise. The hotel itself is made up of a number of villas scattered in a tropical garden and each one i have stayed in was very comfortable and extremely well facilitated, the main lobby, restaurant and each room is full of beautiful and traditional antiques from around Indonesia. The location is great, its in Canggu away from the Kuta and Seminyak areas, located next to Batu Bolong Beach, with Old Mans Bar opposite, for me it is the perfect location and setting. Dining at the Tugu is also an experience in itself, the menu is extensive, from traditional Balinese, Indonesian and Asian dishes to a full Western menu. everything (including Breakfast) was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The staff have always been nothing but friendly, happy to greet you and nothing is too much to ask. I really do not have one negative comment about this wonderful boutique hotel. Great place, i will continue to stay and dine there each time i head to Bali. Thank you Tugu Hotel for making my stays perfect :) "Slow Villas and Spa: "You have to stay there ! Perfect"

We really enjoyed our stay here. Really friendly staff, from the GM downwards. They couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Stunning property, and well placed for exploring Luang Prabang, which is easily the nicest place we visited in Laos. We can't recommend this hotel too highly - it's a great stay.Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "The Best"
"Just go! It's THE Best. I would suggest spending at least a week. We only got 4 days, and it wasn't enough. I can't wait to go back. The staff, food, and rooms were all wonderful. As far as Baans go, I'd recommend Baan Tamarind. It's location is awesome, and it's very private. Also if you like to snack get some from the mainland to bring. There isn't much snack wise, and it can get expensive to buy what snacks there are. "Villa Song Saigon: "So friendly it feels like home"
"HCMC is chaotic and after a day in the city it is so nice to come ""home"" to this wonderful place. The shuttleboat is great and so is the food and the poolarea. Perfect for families as well as for couples. Stayed February 2017, traveled with family"Manda De Laos: "Beautiful Dinner"
We visited this restaurant recently and had a beautiful meal of Buffalo Steak and Tamarind Duck. Great meal , service in a beautiful Lotus Pond backdrop. Thoroughly enjoyed the night outTravel Asia with Secret Retreats
