"The Princess Resort is a lovely place to simply unwind after sight seeing around Mrauk Oo. There is a pool, spa, walking areas and wonderful resturaunt. The property is quiet with lovely tropical flowers and the staff very attentive. It is accessible by boat, which when the tide is against you is a long ride. But, the scenery on the way is wonderful. "The Hotel is Magic. We were picked up by a boat and slowly brought into this paradise. The room was fantastic, the Food and Drinks to match. We were so happy there that we decided to Skip a few temples to be able to enjoy this resort. The sunset on the terrace with a drink is fabulous. At first blush I didn’t think I would enjoy this refined restaurant experience. But what an amazing evening it turned out to be. We chose the seven course meal without the wine pairing but we only made it through the first five before we were too full to continue. The waitress talked us into the five or six part dessert which was unbelievable. Please refer to their website for a complete description of the courses I would never do it justice. It is a must stop if you visit ubud Bali. thank you so much to the chef for all his hard work and to the waitresses for the service beyond compare.4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Paradise!"
We stayed 4 days in those amazing ecolodges. You are in the middle of the jungle and the hotel is sustainable, eco friendly + has the best staff ever. You are taking part of a big project that is trying to preserve and maintain the local ecosystem. Anna (the owner), you are the perfect host and what you are doing is remarkable. Please try your best to keep this place away from mass tourism. The food, massage and the facilities are 5 stars. A big shout out to Chef Kevin Cherkas and his brilliant team! Had the privilege to watch them in action from the Food Bar as they prepared each dish from the Tasting Menu with utmost passion. "We saw a leopard! What an amazing experience that was. Having slept in one of the most luxurious ""tents"" Ive ever stayed in, we wined and dined under the stars, had our own personal safari with a fantastic guide. He really knew his stuff and we saw beautiful birds and many other creatures. He showed respect to the animals by keeping back and not 'chasing' them in the jeep like we saw others do. The jeep was great fun and comfortable considering the terrain. The food was fantastic as well. We spent one week in August at Sea Dance Resort and enjoyed every minute of it. The whole resort is in excellent condition, which includes the rooms, the garden and the pool area. The team was very friendly, helpful and always available to answer questions and offer support. We would definitely choose Sea Dance again. From the journey to the Island and everything during our stay to the time we had to leave was simply amazing. The fantastic approach by boat, the welcome, the staff, the food, the serenity, the views, snorkelling, canoeing, the beach, the bar, the rooms and the dog. We absolutely loved the whole experience. No TV, WiFi, unless at the reception, traffic, hustle and bustle. A most perfect few days of sheer basic bliss in simple true rustic charm. Total chill out.
