Rachamankha: "Haven of tranquility…"

Review by: Jch12345 | Source: tripadvisor.com
We stayed here for 5 nights in July 2015, and can honestly say what a magical place it is. It’s in a brilliant location within the old town, and yet is so peaceful and tranquil. The layout of the hotel feels beautifully designed and considered. The service and staff and are very professional, helpful and friendly, in particularly Paul the manager. If you have chance to stay here then do - it really is unique and we couldn’t recommend it more!

The Village House: "Amazing retreat!"

Review by: louisaclack | Source: Trip Advisor
I stayed here with my boyfriend for two weeks, using it as a base for our day trips around the area. The hotel is gorgeous, very quiet and secluded. The staff were wonderful very thoughtful and very happy to help. Food was also fab, I would recommend doing the Taste of Borneo! xx

Rachamankha: "Really beautiful hotel in a nice location"

Review by: FengCao | Source: Trip Advisor
First of all, this hotel really takes me back in time with a Chinese courtyard style layout which oozes culture and character. Sitting in the chairs in the common area, I felt like I was in a different era enjoying a slow afternoon tea. Hidden in a quiet secluded corner of the Chiang Mai old town, it was the perfect place to be after the craziness of Bangkok. The location of hotel is very convenient to all the temples and the night markets. The hotel restaurant offered very tasty breakfast and dinner.

Rachamankha: "Lovely hotel"

Review by: Mary Kate M | Source: Trip Advisor
We stayed here 3 nights during our time in Chiang Mai. It’s a wonderful hotel, beautiful decor and love all the flowers and natural elements. Room was great and maid service was excellent. Enjoyed the common areas as well - outdoor sitting areas, garden, and amazing pool!! Breakfast was delicious, our booking included the daily breakfast (we booked using Chase reward points). There is a buffet with a variety of breads, pastries, meat, cheese, fruit, juices and more. Also includes a menu with a variety of western and Thai dishes that you can have prepared on the spot. Best coffee we had during our entire vacation. Great location in the old city and close walking distance to everything. As soon as you walk into the hotel gate, you have a tranquil and relaxing escape from the bustle of the city.

MesaStila: "An amazing holiday"

Review by: Gzreviewer | Source: Trip Advisor
"We live in Jakarta and were in desperate need of nature. We travel a lot, both for work and leisure and are quite picky with accommodation. For our holidays, we like to stay away from soulless big chains without having to compromise on comfort and quality. Mesa Stila did not disappoint: from start to finish, everything was perfect. The hotel itself and the grounds are magical, and the mountain views from the rooms are spectacular. Even the hotel's website doesn't do justice. Thanks to the activities, we never got bored during our 3 day stay and never got out of the hotel. We made full use of the facilities on site (spa, pool, restaurant, kid indoor playground) and of the complementary activities (yoga, jungle gym, coffee tour plantation). Considering the remote location of the hotel, we were very impressed by the level of professionalism and skill of the staff (I practice yoga twice a week, and my husband is very athletic and both instructors were really good). Unfortunately we didn't have time to try horseriding but the horses looked very well cared for and the man in charge told us he was an ex-jockey. Our visit happened during rainy season and although it rained most afternoons, we always found something to do (hanging out with our friends in the main house enjoying the complementary afternoon tea, taking turns going to the spa...). We found the hotel very kid friendly (traveling with 3 kids: 3, 1, and 6 months): indoor playroom, shallow kid pool, accommodating restaurant and good kids menu... A few packing tips: clothes for slightly cooler weather (the hotel is located 700m above sea level and it can get chilly in the evenings during rainny season), plastic flip flops in case you are visiting during rainy season"

Talabgaon Castle: "Very beautiful resort, amazing hospitality overall an awesome experience"

Review by: Purvaa90 | Source: Trip Advisor
This place is just fab, very well maintained heritage castle. The property is beautiful and takes you back to the royal living. Hospitality of the staff is just amazing. Mr. Harminder Singh's hospitality was just out of the world. Meals were authentic Rajasthani cuisine, made with lot of love and served with even more love :-) Overall me and my family had a wonderful experience which we will never forget. Hope to visit this awesome place again!!

Inle Princess Resort: "Lake-side retreat"

Review by: Kathy C | Source: Trip Advisor
"From the breath-taking sunrises and sunsets over the lake to the wonderful massages, this is a place to relax and enjoy yourself. Our lakeside cottage was huge and well appointed...couldn't ask for more. Quiet, peaceful grounds. A bit of a hike from our cottage to the restaurant...if you are mobility challenged, you might want to ask for a closer cottage; was not a problem at all for us, however. Would return in a heart-beat. Be sure to allow enough time to explore the lake and its villages by boat...an experience not to be missed! We were there mid-January, and the weather was perfect, and no major mosquito problems. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"

Samanea Beach Resort: "Perfect for Honeymoon!"

Review by: Prerna M | Source: Trip Advisor
"This resort has everything you can ask for! An amazing, comfortable room with four poster bed, a small lounge and an open bath! The food is superb. the resort is just next to the sea ( though you cant get inside the water, but the beautiful shore and pier make up for it). Slightly away from the city centre, since you need to take a tuk tuk to the crab market or the beach. Overall it is quiet, peaceful and ultra romantic! Stayed March 2016, traveled as a couple"

Muang La Lodge: "Idyllic Setting"

Review by: PaCyclist | Source: Trip Advisor
"This property is magical. It is a small boutique property offering outstanding service. While the English of some of the staff is limited, Rafael or one of his assistants is always there to make sure you have what you need and to make sure you have an outstanding experience. The guide Rafael arranged for our trip to visit surrounding villages was the best of our Lao trip. The breakfast and dinner were both top notch. Innovative, high quality really good food. The hotel also offers a hot spring, spa and private island with swimming pool. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"
