The Cabochon Hotel: "Beautiful place, lovely stay"

Review by: Andrew S | Source: Trip Advisor
Had a wonderful stay here recently. The building itself was a wonder, and the rooftop pool a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Breakfast was excellent, as were the staff. Wish we had stayed more than the one night, so will have to return next time we are in Bangkok.

Reverie Siam: "4th visit"

Review by: Valentin S | Source: Trip Advisor
Would you go a 4th time to a hotel which you don't like? Certainly not. The Reverie Siam Resort in Pai is our preferred place to go if we don't want to spend more than 2 hours in the car from our domicile in Chiang Mai. The winding road has just been renovated and is a pleasure to drive now. In the hotel, the rooms, in particular the villas are great, and so are the 2 pools. The almost historic restaurant is a "must see experience", the food is Western but great, the wine list large and the staff very friendly and attentive. And for what if offers, the prices are fair, and on occasion of our 4th visit we even got a 35 % discount. The only downside this time was that we booked our preferred table for a big birthday, which was confirmed in the booking confirmation as well as upon check-in. When we came to the restaurant in the evening, however, "our" table was given away. It is obvious that the communication between reception and restaurant manager didn't work, at least not this time. The 35 % discount was possible a fair compensation for this mishap. But no reason for us not to come back again and again.

Reverie Siam: "Nostalgia at its best"

Review by: bchaug | Source: tripadvisor.com
This place is so dreamy, everything about the resort screams perfection. Magnificent staff treat you like family! Upon arrival we were greeted with ornaments to hang on their Christmas tree. The staff took care of us when we got sick, delivering medicine to bedside as well as cold water & other herbal remedies. Honestly.. If you stay here the only problem is you may never want to leave! Brilliant!!!!!!

Flower Island: "Relaxing in paradise!"

Review by: NomadicBoys | Source: tripadvisor.com
"Staying here was like being in paradise- your own tropical heaven away from everything. There's some incredible coral reef around which makes for some excellent snorkelling: we saw turtles on a number of occasions as well as a plethora of tropical fish. They also have some giant clams in the coral right in front of the beach. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and on one day took us to a pearl farm. I highly recommend a visit to the pearl farm - it's so fascinating to see this industry at work (not to mention more amazing snorkelling opportunities along the way!) (...) You can also hike up to the light house (around 10-15 mins) to get some lovely 360 degrees views. And there is a stone path going around the island for running: a complete cycle is around 1.7km, so 3 rounds, we did 5.5km ish. Oh - and did I mention those stunning sunsets...?"

Tugu Bali: "Great service great location"

Review by: shakabanana | Source: Trip Advisor
"The hotel is beautiful. The breakfast was superb. The spa had so many choices. Jenny the manager went out of her way and doubled as a concierge. I would highly recommend this Resort good food good character and good people what more could you want"

Villa Song Saigon: "Charming Boutique Hotel"

Review by: Stephen A | Source: Trip Advisor
We loved this place. It's a stunning villa with a gorgeous pool which is open late into the evening. The highlight for us was the breakfast which can be taken any time of day - who knew beef pho and French toast go so well together?! The area is a bit sterile (lots of international schools and expat compounds) but we just wanted to chill by the pool so this was a perfect end to our short stay in Vietnam. Particularly grateful for accommodating our request for a late checkout. Nice little gym too. Would love to return.

Satri House: "A real colonial retreat in beautiful Laos"

Review by: Curthofmann | Source: Trip Advisor
We enjoyed 4 days at Satri House for a legal conference and seemed to have the run of this elegant colonial rambling manor house which previously served as the Summer house for the prince. It is a unique blend of a the past with modern comforts .

Tugu Bali: "Like a honey moon again!"

Review by: GlobalJ10 | Source: tripadvisor.com
"This was our second time in Tugu and we were again mesmerized by the magic of the place and charm of the staff. With all the changes that is happening in Bali - we were here 4 years ago, Tugu is like a bubble of culture, peace and happiness. The rooms are simply palatial - don't remember seeing hotel rooms as large and majestic as these. They are decorated with astonishing pieces of Indonesian art and a bed so comfortable it was hard to leave the room. The menu of Indonesian food is simply amazing, a gourmet journey around Indonesia. If you feel like a western fare there are probably cheaper options in the area. I strongly recommend the spa and if you can, try Ms. Kadek, she is amazing! Above all the staff is what really makes the difference. It was great to see that many of them are still working there and they remembered my name after 4 years. Thank you Sri, Ari, Dewi, Wayan, Made Adi! They go the extra mile to make your stay the best one. It was like honey moon again."

The Apsara Rive Droite: "One of the best values in old Luang Prabang"

Review by: BKKPeter | Source: Trip Advisor
"The Apsara is my go to place for trips to Luang Prabang. It has a history (as opposed to the pop up colonial places built nearby in the past few years), excellent staff, and an appropriate level of comfort that's just right for LP. You're on the Nam Khaen, so you avoid a lot of the tourist noise, but you're only a block away. And their kitchen is good, too. Stayed September 2016"

David’s Kitchen: "Dining Does Not Get Better Than At David’s Kitchen"

Review by: frankfrank05 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Dining is not just eating food - it is an experience that should involve delicious food/drinks, gracious hospitality, a pleasing ambiance and the generation of plenty of memories to smile back on for years to come. My girlfriend and I had the dining experience of a lifetime last night at the new location of David's Kitchen - and this experience afforded us all of those things that I mentioned above at an unparalleled level! I had the very best tuna dish that I have ever had - highly recommended for if/when you make the brilliant decision to try David's Kitchen yourself. David was strolling around the very pleasant dining area while we ate and he spoke to us on a few different occasions as we enjoyed our meal. He is a very kind and interesting man that brings wonderful conversation to the table - pun intended. I had the pleasure of expressing my love for the tuna dish and he was gracious enough to invite us back into his kitchen to meet the head chef and the rest of the kitchen staff - this just took what was already an incredible evening to the kind of experience that my girlfriend and I will look back on for decades with nothing but smiles! And, to top it all off, the dining room manager brought my girlfriend a beautiful rose as we were walking into the parking lot to our taxi. It was like the evening couldn't stop getting better! So, there you have it. Some of the best food we have ever eaten. Certainly the best hospitality we have ever experienced at a restaurant. An ambiance that promotes a delightful meal. And memories that I will now have to cherish for the rest of my life. David's Kitchen provides the epitome of what dining should be. And, not to forget, at an EXTREMELY reasonable price! Nothing short of incredible. If you are EVER in Thailand - please, please do yourself and your traveling mates a huge favor and find time to make it into David's Kitchen! On my word - you will absolutely not regret it. Cheers!"
