We felt well taken care of by the staff - every time we arrived we were greeted with cold towels and a willingness to help with any details to make our trip more enjoyable. The property is utterly an oasis in the city - tons of greenery and the pool the perfect way to cool off on a hot afternoon. Since there are not many rooms, we felt like we had the place practically to ourselves and the peaceful atmosphere was most welcome.Villa Song Saigon: "very satisfied customer"
This is a great place to stay if you like being treated like royalty. The staff is all fabulous, the room was very comfortable, and the food and drinks were exceptional. The chef came out to greet us personally and discuss meal options. "Stayed for 2 nights at the charming colonial style Villa Song. Located in a rather quiet area, getting into the centre might have been a problem if not for the free river boat shuttle, which was a novel experience. The rooms were a good size, immaculate, tastefully decorated and the beds extremely comfortable (stayed as a family of 4 in two rooms). The pool looked very inviting, but unfortunately we didn't get a chance to take a dip. Breakfast was very good with a reasonable selection and the restaurant food was excellent if a bit on the pricey side, but worth it for a special occasion - A special thanks to the affable Kevin. He made us feel so welcome and his menu tips were spot on. Our final dinner was outstanding! However, all the staff were charming and very congenial. Checking in and out was easy and the help via email arranging airport transport prior to our stay was invaluable. Stayed November 2016"Satri House: "Extraordinario"

"It was a pre-birthday celebration from a good friend and I am so glad that I finally got to try the food at Babe. The highlight of the meal are the special chawanmushi, oyster with egg, Marble score 9 Wagyu and of course my surprised dessert. The ambience, food and service made my day. "This year I turned 60 and decided on a holiday in Thailand, of course I had to include Bangkok. I found this amazing small characterful place not far from the Royal Palace and Wat Pho. The staff are the most helpful I have come across on the holiday. The room is lovely, Moroccan in style, the Mali room, like home from home for me as I have a lot of Moroccan influence in my house. It is the best place of our holiday. The grounds are peaceful and well kept with a salt water swimming pool. There are wonderful small touches everywhere with orchids and water lilies. The dining area is in a pavilion next to the river with a view of Wat Arun. The food was excellent and the wine list very good. I would stay here every time in Bangkok. "We stayed for 2 nights and we're completely amazed by the special atmosphere of the Tugu Hotel Bali. This small museum of Indonesian art and history left us mesmerized. The lovely staff of the hotel made us feel at home and bringing hospitality to the next level. Our suite was wonderful, on the second floor with a huge Balinese style tub and great ocean view. Very rustic appearance, but with all modern conveniences and a very romantic and confy bed beautifully crafted . The natural beauty of the property gardens make it beautiful during the day and enchanting at night. We enjoyed the lush breakfast, with a wide variety of freshly made juices, that could be served anytime and anywhere we wanted. Every Thursday night the hotel has a cultural evening, with traditional dances what allowed us to know a little bit better the Balinese culture."Cuisine Wat Damnak: "French class comes to Khmer cooking"
We had a wonderful night at Cuisine Wat Damnak. The owner greeted us personally at the door and we had a brief conversation in Khmer. The food was exquisite and there was a choice of two degustation menus. In truth it was hard to choose because they were both so good. Great quality food and great value. Highly recommended.
