Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Dale"
2015 review, this place is heaven :)🎂 stayed in front left room was so nice I wonder if the original color was white but the blue is fine, it's peaceful but we did get hit by lightening the night before we left, well the mansion did and the paintings fell off the wall hehe☺Reverie Siam: "Quality hotel in Pai"
"Beautiful hotel just outside the village of Pai. It felt like a true oasis in Northern Thailand. Every morning we were served the most amazing a la carte breakfast, delicious. There are two beautiful swimming pools where we relaxed the first day after the long scooter ride from Chiang Mai. Very low prices for food and cocktails, you would expect to pay a lot more in a 5 star hotel ike this. Only a short scooter ride to the village with many restaurants and bars. Here we discovered Northern Thailands, in our opinion most delicious dish: Khao Soi Gai. It can found in the main street where the night market is: two people are cooking on the street and they have a 'restaurant' behind them. They only prepair Pad Thai & Khao Soi Gai. Only 50B! Amazing. Please note that in the hotel only Western style food is served, no Thai food. If you want to relax a little also this is the perfect hotel to stay at in Pai. "4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "An escape from city’s loudness to a haven of tranquility"
It is indeed a wonderful experience staying at 4 Rivers Floating Lodge. Beautiful location, professional and ecologically knowledgeable and concerned management team associated with very accommodating staffs, great foods and marvelous ambience. Kayaking around the resort, simply enjoying and appreciating the river and nature, fireflies, and waterfall experiences are rad!Le Calao: "Great food, excellent service"
This centrally located restaurant is set in a traditional merchant’s house right on the river. Fine food and deft service.Amata Lanna: "an oasis in the rush of Changmai"
If you believe that small is beautiful then you will love this niche hotel. Just twelve large rooms based on the old Northern Lana style - that is teak buildings and platforms around a central pool. The staff are charming and attentive. A place to chill and relax after a busy dayTiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Breathtaking views & impeccable service"
"Walking up the stairs, with Fishtail right in front of you is a great introduction to your stay. The service is exceptional, matched by the quality of the rooms and the views! We did a walk through the village, with out great guide, who was able to give us very interesting insights. An all round amazing experience, would highly recommend."Inle Princess Resort: "Perfekt"
"I loved staying at Sandat, the concept is really different and interesting, the tents are world class amazing, very very nicely decorated and neat, overlooking the jungle! The food was really good and the staff was really really helpful. I would def go back! "SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Exceptional service"
The waiters were very helpful and explained in details on the dishes. Food was delicious and well prepared. Atmosphere was good. Chef personally greeted us a few times at the table and even walked us to the door when we left. The Cabochon Hotel: "Romantic Colonial Hide-Away in the heart of Bangkok"
"Extremely jet-lagged my husband and I stepped out of our 20 hour flight from Los Angeles, and were met at the airport by the hotel's private driver. A 25 minute drive later, we were quickly checked into the lovely Cabochon. Immediately I felt better, surrounded by the cool marble, fragrant lush trees, and fascinating lobby decor of this renovated colonial mansion tucked down a small alley. We arrived rather early for check in, but they set us up with towels, exotic passion fruit cocktails and lounge chairs beside the roof-top pool and after a dip-- was immediately refreshed. Our room was simple, quiet, clean and romantic with high ceilings, and a columned balcony. Other than a few modern amenities (like powerful air conditioner, fast wifi, in room safe, and a TV we didn't use) it was like stepping into the past. The breakfast was delicious and we even had lunch there in between excursions. The proximity to the SkyTrain subway was very convenient and the fastest way to get around town, but the hotel is happy to call a taxi for you-- and give directions. As with everywhere in Thailand, the staff are extremely helpful, friendly and polite. You will be happy to tip for service. There are many extrodinary restaurants near by including ""Bo.Lam"" and ""Soul Food."" We throughly enjoyed our visit to Bangkok and it started with the Cabochon. Tip for all of South East Asia: Most people in the service industry speak english fairly well, but get a ""Directions Card"" from the hotel front desk and put it in your pocket for later-- it will have the hotel name/address written in Thai (not useless english) and is very valuable to get a taxi ride home at the end of your night out. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"
