Review by: llessurtx | Source: Trip Advisor
Found this gem just a few hundred feet from our hotel! From the Mekong cocktails to the deserts and everything in between... AMAZING! Flavors that will knock your socks off! Curry with mussels and pineapple... Crispy fish fried rice... Mushroom salad... Pad Thai with crab! Can't wait to come back!

Bassac Cruises: "Very interesting morning"

Review by: EmmaLalande | Source: Trip Advisor
First of all we took a small boat to the floating market with a lovely breakfast supplied on board. The boat lady was in exceptionally nice and we got some great photos that she pointed out to us. After the markets she dropped us off on the bank and we were met by a local guide and three bicycles. We then spent the next 2 hours gently cycling on small paths through villages in the forest between the small rivers. Very interesting guide who spoke excellent English. Delicious fruit and tea stop on route. Highly recommend both trips.

CABOCHON: "Excellent. A must stay while in Bangkok"

Review by: TerryMinuit | Source: tripadvison.com
"This hotel is small yet feels luxurious. The rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need. The staff were a delight - helpful, informative and friendly. The food at breakfast and at dinner was excellent - delicious, adventurous and beautifully presented. The restaurant and breakfast room are a treasure trove of artefacts. The roof top pool is a wonderful touch with views that give you a very good feel for Bangkok. "

Reverie Siam Pai: "BEAUTIFUL! AMAZING STAFF! SERENE! RIVER & MOUNTAIN VIEWS"

Review by: christiehiker | Source: Trip Advisor
We stayed for 5 days, occupying to of the large bungalows for our family of 5. we loved the gourmet food, the available shuttle into town, the rustic/antique vibe, the GORGEOUS ROOMS!!, the bean bag riverside loungers . The staff was amazing. Joy is an excellent person to recommend fun and exciting day tours. We've been to Thailand 8x, also living both in CR and Bangkok: this is by far one of the most kept up, luxury resort we've stayed in. Many couples were there for their honeymoons (we see one another at breakfast). Breakfast is HUGE and very very gourmet! Nice background music: Billie Holiday-ish and 40's vibe. They do not play annoying Thai Christmas songs. (been in an MK lately?! ugh) This resort was Amazing! The owner treated us to sparkling wine to celebrate my husbands 50th. The staff were amazing and their English is top notch. We cannot wait to come back! It keeps Pai town civilized . We also liked that we weren't required to purchase Christmas dinner (which most Thai resorts do) bc we love going out for Thai. (but if you do want true Christmas dinner it looked amazing). You must take the shuttle to Pai Canyon for the sunset, the rafts to the caves, and the rice field walks. If you come at Christmas please recognize it can get down to 45 Fahrenheit at night in northern Thailand . The staff gave us wool blankets to use each day (60-70 farenheit) while we sat in the common area (dining area) and read all day. Lovely people !

Maison Polanka: "Perfect."

Review by: MeursaultBerty | Source: Trip Advisor
Wonderful stay in the Yellow Room - quite, well appointed and spacious (much bigger than pictured). The owner cobbled together 6 or more properties to create a couple acre paradise. It's plenty close to downtown Siem Reap and down a sleepy side street so it is private and sees no traffic. Breakfast is quality - latte, fresh local fruit, freshly baked bread, eggs any way you like, etc. Toss in helpful staff (arranged tuk tuk to/from temples and car to PP, booked restaurants, even called airline on our behalf to inquire about changing flights), free bikes to tool around in, good library, and relaxing pool with excellent kitchen, and the choice is easy

Misool: "Snorkellers’ Paradise!"

Review by: Raincoast | Source: Trip Advisor
We spent 9 days at MER and loved it! The Water Cottage was fantastic. Snorkellers are looked after very well with Novi and Nelson guiding and Tahir driving, making sure we saw everything we could. The entire team made our experience unforgettable. Thanks to Sue and Mark, & Sabine for making everything run so smoothly.

MesaStila: "Java at its best"

Review by: guycross | Source: tripadvisor.com
"MesaStila is one of those places that blows you away. So many things about our trip far exceeded our expectations. The food was awesome. The rooms are beautiful. A highlight was the Easter Egg painting hunt that the staff ran for our two little boys. Yokyo (maybe not correct spelling) was sweet and made sure our little ones felt special. Thank you. We hope to be back. "

Rachamankha: "Excellent boutique hotel with great service"

Review by: Nigel W | Source: Trip Advisor
My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in November at this wonderful hotel and felt totally at home throughout. The ambiance of the hotel was perfect, very peaceful and serene. The whole layout of the building was beautiful with lovely antique Asian furniture, a nice outdoor swimming pool and a cosy library. The library was well stacked with books and also had the benefit of having 2 PC's where we were able to plan our trips and look up local restaurants, even printing out the information we needed on the spot. The bedroom was very comfortable with a spacious bathroom and free WiFi was available throughout the building. The hotel was perfectly located, a very close walk from the Old Town. It also had the added benefit (from our perspectives) of being a non-smoking establishment throughout. The service was first class from all the staff and the breakfasts were delicious. The hotel manager Paul Walker was especially helpful and proactive, giving us many useful tips both for our stay in Chiang Mai and also Bangkok. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Chiang Mai as it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your stay. We will definitely book there again the next time we visit.

Bassac Cruises: "Relaxing way to see the countryside and river"

Review by: Peter-Anagio | Source: Trip Advisor
"We booked a one night cruise and struck lucky as we were the only passengers on board. Even the 4 hour transfer on the first day was soon forgotten when we had lunch on board and cruised along the river and canals. In the afternoon we had a walk around the countryside and sampled some fruit. Everything was explained perfectly by An who gave us a lesson in everything Vietnamese, history, economy, education, social services, you name it, she explained it all to us. Back on board we had a drink followed by dinner. After a nightcap we retired to the small but comfortable a air conditioned cabin with ensuite. Early to rise, we had breakfast on board before transferring to a smaller boat for the final tours of local sugar factory, floating market and rice cake making. Again, expertly explained by An, we sadly said our goodbyes to face the 2 1/2 hour transfer back to Saigon. This was a great way to get to know a piece of the real Vietnam."
