I had to attend a business dinner and the hotel had kindly assisted me with ironing and pressing my clothes at such short notice and on time. This is not a hotel but Paradise. So beautiful with a nice garden. Room is very very big with simple decoration but very convenient. We love the scenery around the hotel, it is wonderful. We loved the hotel. Quiet, comfortable place where you can really relax from the worries. Fine cuisine! The chef prepared a special diet menus at our request. Competent and responsive staff. Especially impressed by the good Aliffa. We made friends with her. She is very friendly and hospitable answered all our questions, even with our incomprehensible English. How nice it was to see her friendly smile! Our conversations have helped us to better understand and love Malaysia. "I am the principal of an international school in Phnom Penh. Our school collaborated with 4Rivers to raise funds for a school they are sponsoring near 4Rivers, so we were invited out to see it. First of all, the area is great, and lovely fresh air. All of the staff at 4Rivers were very attentive with no communication difficulties. The rooms were positively luxurious, especially considering we were just floating on a river. Beds were very comfortable, everything was prompt, food was delicious. I had a great time relaxing and would recommend it to anyone. Only downside is the sketchy internet, but they make that abundantly clear on the website, so bring a book! "We stayed at Samanea for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. The resort is spacious, with a large swimming pool and a private beach. The villas are quite big, with a private patio and an outdoor shower and bath, which I really liked. The restaurant was good, we had daily breakfast and a few times lunch and dinner during our stay. I would say that Samanea is ideally located for a relaxing getaway, it's not in the center of town, but privately located at the edge of Kep. Still within walking distance to the crab market and to the Kep National Park, or alternatively the hotel can call a tuk tuk for your convenience. It is not a hotel; no room number, you take off your shoes before entering your room, someone comes to you with a cold scented towel when entering the property after a walk, a waiter brings you a glass of water when sitting in the garden... Everything is organized to make you feel like you are a special guest! Cathy the manager understands your expectations and is totally dedicated to her job and to make you feel special. (...) The house is authentic, full of charm and character. The garden is amazing and the large pool is warm and always clean. We first visited this resort two years ago. Our SECOND visit to this wonderful place included two nights on their houseboat The Lotus and four nights at the resort. It is very difficult to add to previous glowing reviews except to say that it still remains the most lovely experience. The staff are a delight, nothing is too much trouble, the food is of the highest standard and we think a privilege to be able to stay here. The attention to detail is a huge complement to the management.
