Cuisine Wat Damnak: "The Best – Delicious food, wine, amazing service"
"This was easily the best meal we ate in Cambodia. It was absolutely brilliant. The food was incredible. It uses Cambodian flavours with modern techniques and presentation. Most importantly though, everything tasted divine. Great wine list and excellent recommendations from the chef. Cocktails were also great. Service was perfect, friendly and helpful. Loved to see the chef speaking to people in the restaurant. Overall, cannot fault this meal and experience. Absolutely loved it."tugu malang: "Warm friendly and so much Character"
"From the moment we arrived ,we were greeted with the most warmest of smiles. It didn't take long before the staff greeted us by our Christian names. Our room was beautiful and on the bed a welcome post card, a nice touch. Everything about this hotel is amazing, the service the cleanliness, the amenities , and the spa was divine. We took an organised tour through the hotel as it is very much like a museum. So much art and wood carvings, the walk down ""The Love Avenue"" towards the Sahara room was simply beautiful. The food in the Resturant, you just cannot fault, 5 star all the way. Afternoon tea is provided each afternoon with some traditional Javanese sweets. We had booked for 2 nights only but extended another night , just really couldn't leave. If I could give this place 6 star, I would. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for making our stay in Malang very enjoyable. "Inle Princess Resort: "Relax and mellow in this beautiful setting"
"I rarely choose to review properties that have been so heavily reviewed by others -- but felt I had to given some of the absurd comments. No Wi-Fi! No TV! All I can say is YEAH!!! There are times to just get off the grid. You don't have to be connected 24-7. This is the magic of traveling to destinations such as Myanmar. We had a ""lake view"" bungalow which we enjoyed. The bird guide was nice, but the binoculars were poor (but we had brought our own, so no problem). The air conditioner struggled during the day but was fine at night. Breakfasts were solid, if somewhat uninspired. Dinners (and you're pretty much stuck here) were better than expected and more reasonably priced than we found at comparable sites (i.e. Bagan) in Myanmar. Wine selections, though, were quite limited and very costly. But the cocktails were interesting. The new swimming pool is a welcome addition. Without good road connections, you'll probably be booked here through a tour company. If not, boat access is a key and can be arranged through the hotel. Bottom line -- our favorite hotel of our 2-week trip in Myanmar"Hotel Tugu Malang: "Wonderful Magical and stunning afternoon tea"
I wouldn't say our room was the best, big but perhaps looking a bit tired and the electricals might need looking at but I still rate this hotel very highly as there really is no place like it for truly outstanding food (the menu takes a while to read and breakfast is marvellous but afternoon tea the best) and magical atmosphere, room after room of delightsSea Dance Resort: "Friendly paradise"
"We' ve been there for couple days. Bungalow, breakfast, pool, beach and staff-everything was perfect. We never had such a familiar feeling with the staff. They were so friendly and interested in our belongings. Exceptional was Dani from the front desk. Thank you seadance for the perfect time! Christian and Maike"Villa Song Saigon: "Villa Song, an oasis of calm in Saigon"
Beautiful hotel, luxurious rooms and facilities. All the staff are so friendly and take care to ensure your stay is perfect. To sit by the river for breakfast is magical; didn't want to leave. Everything they do, they do so, so well. Although a short stay, so memorable, wish I was still there Location rated as excellent, a bonus not to be right in the city centre. The hotel speed boat service to the city centre is fantastic. Taxis cheap and plentiful if it's not available.tugu bali: "Amazing experience!"
"From the moment we arrived we knew this was experience was going to be unique! the staff was more than fabulous and they truly made the difference here. The place has real magic around, our room had beautiful small details that we loved. We came to Bali to celebrate my birthday and they really made this experience wonderful. The food was delicious, the massage therapist were great, the tours and drivers were really nice and patient, the recommendations for places to visit and good restaurants as well. would definetly come back with my eyes closed. "Satri House: "Wonderful stay"
It was like paradise. So beautiful and peaceful. Lovely garden with a wonderful swimming pool. Room is huge with nice decoration and very comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and included.Inle Princess Resort: "Paradise in the middle of another paradise."
"The hotel lays on the lake, and you need to get there by boat. The trip is so relaxing you starting getting into the rythm. The last part of the trip, has to be done rowing, they do not allow the noise of the boat motors bother their customers. It is just incredible. They preserve the customer rest and we even got a note from the direction apologizing because a monastery nearby had night prayers due to some festivity. The room we got was facing the lake directly. We woke up in the morning with the amazing views, and even some ducks feeding right below us. We enjoyed the best sunsets and dawns from our room porch. We visited in December, one of the coldest months there (around 18-20 ºC) but we got the option to light our chimney (yes we had one) and warm up there. The restaurant was spacious and the food amazing. They service was super educated, we got a waiter very young that clearly was being trained and we could only praise the teacher and the pupil. We did not fully use the rest of installations, but we really enjoyed our stay. I would come back if I could."tugu lombok: "Magical place"
"I remember we arrived at Tugu around 9pm. While checking in two families arrived. They were on the same flight we were from Singapore. Looking all around I exclaimed ""What a beautiful place!""... And the guy next to me replied ""It's a magical place!"" That's what Tugu is. A magical place. It's not a luxury place, it may not be the best hotel you've ever been! But it may very well be an experience you will never forget. We enjoyed the Villa, the different places where we had dinners, the beach, the excursion to the Gili islands and overall we enjoyed the people. Thank you for let us fell so well! "
