Locavore: "A.M.A.Z.I.N.G"
"It's just crazy how the guys and gals in the kitchen put together the meals. We enjoyed every single bite of our 7 course meal which turned out to be something around 16 courses! The drink pairing was perfectly fitting to the dishes. Service was nice and we had a great talk with the chefs while they were cooking since we were sitting at the kitchen bar, which was also an amazing experience. Thanks to the whole team and we are definitely coming back if we ever go to Bali again (and that might happen as well)"SANAK RETREAT BALI: "The Best place I have ever stayed and i travel a lot"
"The setting, the ethos, the staff!!! Its dreamy and Its the real deal. A true eco luxury treat! The rooms are beautiful and in keeping with the land and nature. The food is exquisite. The views are stunning. I loved this place so much Ive been back twice and will return there whenever I am in Bali, its well worth the adventure up into the mountains for! I was made to feel like part of the community here and I am truly grateful to have felt this welcomed. Thank you all x x x see you again soon! "David’s Kitchen: "Best food and service!"
I would say this restaurant is the best restaurant that I ever had. I had a high expectation before I go because TripAdvisor award it as one of the best fine dining restaurant in the world. It ended up even exceed my expectation. I like every dishes that we ordered. All the waiters and waitress had very high standard of service. I will definitely come back again if I visit Chiang Mai again! And I would highly recommend my friends to go if they visit chiang Mai.The Apsara Rive Droite: "Great Location! Great Hotel"
"We had a main floor room. It was large and so was the bathroom. Both the bed and the bathtub were high so there may be a problem for persons with mobility problems. Air conditioned plus a fan. Well kept and clean. The hotel was one short block from the main street where the monks come every morning. It was a ten minute walk to the night market and easy walking distance to many wats nearby. Also close to boats for river trips, especially sunset cruises. Breakfast for westerners consisted of juice, fruit, bacon and eggs, local french inspired bread and coffee. highly recommended. We got a great deal at US70.00 per night. Was worth more than that. Room Tip: All rooms face the river and a busy street which is not noisy after 10:00 at night."Amata Lanna: "Just Perfect"
I cannot say enough about the property and the staff. It is incredibly beautiful and the team are BEYOND kind and accommodating. The hotel is small (14 rooms I believe) and has lovely teak wood accents - a great way to enjoy something off the beaten path. The true jewel of this hotel is the staff !!!Satri House: "Excellent 4 day stay"
Lovely 4 day stay here in May 2017. We had a lovely twin rooms, which was very well maintained. The staff was very good and very good at organising tours, restaurants etc. Breakfast was very nice, as was dinner. Excellent spa as well.Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "The most amazing experience"
"O h my goodness! These people know about customer service! Not only the nicest people running this but really smart too. Knew everything about the wildlife so it was a great learning experience and so interesting. The level of detail they have gone into to make this a truly exceptional experience is unbelievable. The food is probably the best I've had in Sri Lanka and that's saying something! The accommodation is clean and so well designed. We were lucky enough to be staying in the beautiful master bedroom tent which is truly exquisite. Showering under the stars in complete privacy and safety is something I will remember forever. Our two teenage sons found this to be an awesome experience and as we know, teenagers can be a tough crowd to please! Sadly, we didn't see any leopards on either of the two drives but we did see plenty of other interesting wildlife. Others we met had seen some leopards on their drives so we were just unlucky and that can't be helped. None the less it was the highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka without question."Inle Princess Resort: "A few suggestions"
"I don't need to say much more about the quality of this hotel or the beauty of its location. Go to Myanmar. Go to Inle Lake. Stay at the Inle Princess. Here, though, are a few tips for those who do follow the directives above: 1. Take advantage of the complimentary shoe shine. 2. There really isn't any charge for the beer in the mini-bar. 3. The hotel leaves earplugs in the room (presumably for those whose sleep might be disturbed by frogs and lizards). You may not need the earplugs during the night, but hold onto them, because they are very useful on the boats, which have very loud outboard motors. 4. The boat tour of the lake is essential. Make sure to include a visit to a local market. The basic boat tour lasts for one day, but it is a very long day (especially if you start with the market), so you should consider splitting the tour and doing it over two days. 5. When you visit the village of the silversmiths, avoid the large shop at the entrance to the village -- the one with the tiny workshop staffed by ""brothers"" who play with their cell phones until a tourist boat arrives and a large showroom stuffed with overpriced silver that must come from China. 6. The artisanal workshops on the village side of the hotel are definitely worth a visit. 7. Eat the Shan noodles for breakfast -- order them the evening before."Rachamankha: "PEACEFUL OASIS"
"We spent 4 nights at the Rachamanka hotel, a small boutique hotel in Chiang Mai. The staff was very friendly & helpful. Our room was large with comfortable beds & quality linens. Bathroom amenities, including a toothbrush/toothpaste & insect repellent, were replaced daily. Breakfast was served in a beautiful courtyard, with a wood burning fire to take the chill off those cool mornings. The grounds are beautifully manicured. Antique Burmese letter chest decorate the walkways. The pool has comfortable chaise lounges with large beach towels. I would definitely stay here again. "We spent 3 nights at the beginning of our stay here. Its been said before but this place really does treat you like royalty. We arrived, tired and sticky from two very long flights, and were checked in quickly while sipping cold watermelon juice. Our luggage was whisked upstairs then so were we. We had a lovely large room with a veranda and a view of the Mekong. The first afternoon was spent by the pool, and we even had impeccable service there! We had breakfast included, and could eat as much as we wanted from the menu. They have an excellent selection of both western and Vietnamese breakfasts, so we sampled several during our stay. All delicious. We also appreciated the cocktail happy hour, as well as the free mini bar in the room. It was warm enough during our stay to eat and drink outside, but I noticed an interior dining space if required. The best thing is the boat shuttle service, which handily drops you down town and picks you up, all with no charge. This is an excellent feature as the hotel is a bit out of the main city area. The room was large, clean, and roomy, and the bathroom was well stocked with toiletries and towels. The staff were all lovely, and we even had the manager checking we were happy at one point. It really seemed nothing was too much trouble. It was lovely to just relax without worrying about anything. Highly recommended! Stayed February 2017, traveled with friends"
