Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Get away from it all"
We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. There were only 4 other couples staying, we had the pool to ourselves most of the time, the hotel is surrounded by lovely gardens/plants/trees with a giant lily pond in the grounds. Food was very nice but it is cambodian only, if you want western then you will have to go into battambang. Unfortunately you cannot get away from the party/religious music that goes on at night and early morning from the village (April is party/wedding season) but keeping the air con on all night helps to drown it out. Also dont worry about creatures jumping on the roof in the night - not sure what they were but you get used to it. Lovely staff. Would not say this is a place for families just couples.KHWAN BEACH RESORT: "Awesome rooms"
"We selected this place Bcoz it was very near to beach nd plus every room had it's own private pool The best part is they serve the breakfast in your own villa Room wise I would rate it 5/5 Bcoz of pool and staff here is very very polite nd helpful Over experience was awesome Cheers ?!!!! "Sandat Glamping Tents: "Amazing experience"
Our first glamping experience and it was amazing! I love how they are eco friendly and surrounded by nature. We loved the private pool and the big tents, they also don't get hot inside as they have the fans and it's really comfortable. Lovely staff, very welcoming :)Sanak Retreat: "Tranquil oasis amidst the rice paddies"
My wife and I and two adult children had a great stay in one of the lovely bungalows overlooking the rice paddies. The accommodations were very comfortable and the food was good. Both days we toured the area, one day by van and the second day by ATV’s. This is a very relaxing, serene and pleasant spot.Yandabo Home: "takes your breath away"
"when u travel frequently and to many places, u become immune to surprises in hotels..and then something like the yandabo home comes your way..and just blows you away..the product is impeccable..in design, materials and extreme good taste..the location is exceptional..on a bend of a large river..the high roofs..the glass roof light in the shower...and the service and food are great..not to mention the enthusiasm with which the staff takes u around a remarkable remote village of skilled potters..ideal for what is increasingly rare in international travel..a look at the skills of artisans in a genuine surrounding.. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"Locavore: "The best food ever"
This is my first time! And I'm super loved it! Really2 good and the service really 👏🏼👍🏼 You guys should try it! I'm not disappointed of this restaurant. The Twelve Hotel: "Très bonne étape"
"Très bon accueil et très bel établissement! Rafraîchissement à l'arrivée, gentillesse et disponibilité en sus! Petit déjeuner extra (baguette, confiture de fruits de la passion et jolie salle) Enjoy"Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Excellent! Just Excellent"
"I visited the Blue Mansion during one of the tour groups, and I was simply captivated by the rich story behind the building. Every single detail of the mansion was explained meticulously by the guides. I did the guided tour twice, and I was very impressed by the fact that the guides were genuinely passionate about the history of the building, as well as the history of George Town. I went back to the Blue Mansion for dinner at the restaurant upstairs. Again, I was impressed. the food was spectacular, the decor is kept minimal, so the natural beauty of the building can be appreciated. I particularly love that I get to have a drink at the balcony and stare at the beautiful sculptures up close! Definitely worth visiting. Again and again and again and again. Stayed September 2016, traveled with friends"The Twelve Hotel: "Nice quiet hotel with reception at the top"
A nice hotel located in a quiet residential area of Bangkok. Few rooms (ten, only 6 were open during our visit), junior nice very spacious and bright with views of the pool. The reception is great, either by the owners or other employees, plus help organize our daily outings: tuktuk reservation, restaurant recommendations. Very good breakfast. The hotel is located a bit far to walk to public transport (and almost no sidewalk lend itself to long walks especially in our case with a small child), but some supermarkets and restot good practices within 10 min, and 40 baht (€ 1) a tuktuk takes you to the nearest BTS station or water taxi. We would definitely return if we have the chance to return!Blackitch Artisan Kitchen: "An unforgettable experience"
A truly unique and distinctive experience at Blackitch Artisan Kitchen. Chef Black's philosophy around food and ethics comes through in all his dishes - local, creative, artisan and balanced. His food is innovative, experimental and he has a real flair for flavours. Chef Black explained each of his dishes as they came to the table and the processes - the majority of the food is organic and handmade. I was fascinated to hear about the fermentation processes and work he'd gone through to create the dishes - an unforgettable evening !Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
