The Hue House: "The best Hue food in HCMC"

The location is a bit hidden on top of office building on roof top. You will need to take the office lift to 10th floor. It is a bit hot in the afternooon, although they have fan there. Perfect for dinner. The food is super good. I love the bun bo hue.. the best I ever tasted. I came here twice this week. The place is still quiet, but I suspect won't be for long when the secret is out. The only area of improvement is to have better desert menu, especially sweet desert from central region.

Maduzi Hotel: "Amazing"

I stayed 3 nights at the Maduzi hotel and it was an incredible experience. The silk sheets are unlike anything I have ever slept on and alone are worth staying here. Bangkok is always steamy hot and the AC cooled the sheets making the room all the more appealing after a day in the sun. The hotel is conveniently located to the train and abundant restaurants and pubs (though the restaurant serves fantastic food so if you're tired there's absolutely no need to venture out). The Maduzi is the quintessential boutique hotel with a staff that is unfailingly pleasant and helpful. The mini-bar is free and plentiful water is provided upon request. I would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to returning to the Maduzi. PS - if you need anything during your stay Nui is THE MAN.

The Apsara Rive Droite: "Start and end your day with a boat ride, what could be better"

Stayed here with friends for a business meeting and leisure trip last September. What a find! Perfectly located a short boat ride (1 minute) across the Nam Khan river from old town Luang Prabang with river views from the rooms, this is a really charming property offering all you need for a great Luang Prabang stay. By the way, it is owned by the owner of The Apsara (a hotel/restaurant) which is on the opposite side of the river and has just the best dining for authentic, and delicious Luang Prabang cuisine...not to be missed! I cannot fault my stay at the Apsara Rive Droite. The room was a highlight - big airy rooms tastefully and purposefully decorated (loved the coffee percolator with local fresh ground coffee), big balcony to sit and enjoy the peaceful river scene below, and super comfortable big bed (a lot of bigs there for a boutique hotel!...who says size isn't everything, you cannot beat a nice spacious room and bathroom). But the top highlight for me at Rive Droite was the staff, from the owner to the boatman (yes the Rive Droite boat is on call at all times and just part of the service for their guests) warm, friendly and always ready with a tip on how to get the best from your stay from recommending me a bicycle ride to sourcing some Luang Prabang sausage for me to take home, it really was like staying amongst friends. I have to say, there really cannot be a better way to start and end any day than a slow boat ride across a lazy river...

Tugu Lombok: "Bliss Bliss Bliss"

One of our favourite hotels we have ever been to. The staff are so friendly and sincere and make you feel so welcome. The ambiance is spectacular with all the antiques, open areas, blue ocean, just breathtaking. We recommend the fresh caught fish of the day Indonesian style. Great food! Thank you so much and we will definitely be coming back again.

The Island Lodge: "Mekong trip or Saigon escape? This is your place!"

"When you arrive on the small road you may wonder if you got lost, in fact you just found a secret gem! Beautiful surroundings (pool and river on one side, gorgeous garden on the other side) Tasteful design and decoration everywhere around Lovely and helpful team Nice mix of Vietnamese and French food Large choice of activities/tours to visit the area by boat, bike or scooter. We will definitely be back for the Mekong and for the Hotel!"

Villa Mathis: "MAGNIFIQUE SEJOUR"

nous sommes venu a bali pour feter nos 10 ans de mariage et il n'est pas possible d'avoir plus bel endroit que cet hotel . LA VILLAS MATHIS est un hotel splendide a taille humaine ou tout le personnel et d'une tres tres grande gentilesse , du personnels de l'acceuil au serveurs tous sont adorables avec nous . les chambres sont magnifiques et sont decorées avec un tel bon gout comme le reste de l'hotel . LE DINER ROMENTIQUE etait formidable merci merci encore a cyril pour tous ses bons conseils ( bon j'attends toujours ma plongée , non je rigole) avoir quelqu'un qui parle francais nous a rassurés et nous a beaucoup aidés , vous avez été parfait alors encore merci et bonne continuation

Sandat Glamping Tents: "Assolutamente meraviglioso"

Abbiamo trascorso al Sandat una magica settimana sperimentando sia l'esperienza in tenda che nel caratteristico lumbung. Entrambe le sistemazioni eccellenti, a contatto con una natura meravigliosa e lussureggiante. Accoglienza di una gentilezza estrema, location perfetta, navetta gratuita per il centro di Ubud, colazione ricca con ingredienti freschi e locali. Struttura rispettosa dell'ambiente, lussuosa, confortevole, discreta e con ottimi servizi (lezioni di yoga, escursioni, massaggi). Tugu Bali: "Most romantic stay ever"

This hotel soothes and satisfies every sense. The breeze flowing through the mostly open air lobby (if you can call this beautiful, former Palace of Harmony a "lobby!") The air lightly scented with jasmine and other growing flowers. The very softly playing gamelon music. The ocean views and sound of waves. The partially open-air stone bathtub and shower with candles and incense. The wonderful food. Enchanting and serene. And if you want to be entertained, head to the beach, which is known for its surfing.

Chakrabongse Villas: "A gourmet REAL THAI meal"

This traditional Thai décor restaurant near Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha) on the Chao Phraya River has both indoor, air-conditioned, tables and, if the weather cooperates, outdoor tables. Reservations are a must, online if you like, as this pricey, high-end traditional Thai food service only serves 30 diners a night ! The menu is fixed, it's pricey by Thai standards but not foreign standards and it is well worth a special visit, romantic or best friends. Not suitable for young kids: no place to romp, lengthy multiple course service. The menu changes daily depending on what the chef can find, and you'll only be able to modestly substitute for allergies or strong dislikes. For those looking for exquisitely prepared Thai cuisine in a set menu, multiple course, fixed price dining experience you should not miss this wonderful food!

Muang La Lodge: "C’était parfait"

"A friendly welcome, everyone is attentive, the atmosphere is excellent, the service is perfect. The mountain hiking alone justifies to stay. The landscape is beautiful. Alas, what destitution in populations. Thank you for allowing us to see this reality. "
