I recently experienced a safari that lived up to its expectations. I am a birder and saw 100 species of birds with Saj , an experienced guide in the birding world and animals alike. We had 5 sightings of leopards, elephants, jackal, spotted deer, water buffalo, monkeys and mongoose . The food was beautifully presented and was nutritious. At the end of each safari we were greeted with a cold drink and a refreshing cold cloth with lemongrass. This was a safari that I wished would never end.kenanga ubud : "Fantastic property"

She will help you plan your entire trip, from great bike tour, to restaurant suggestions and even massage booking.. She will tell you the best places.. And then just enjoy your trip.. The staff is attentive and pampers you.. The rooms are big and perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure around Ubud.. We stopped in Cambodia for five days on the way back to Australia from Europe. We wanted a few relaxing days in a warm climate to beat the jet lag and wind down from a busy family-oriented trip to the UK. Maison Polanka was everything we had hoped for from the friendly greeting at the airport from Sopharin, the beautiful compound, stylish and comfortable room and the fantastic staff, including Francis and Cathy . It really is a special place that comes to feel like it might be your very own! The food is wonderful, which can be unusual for in-house hotel kitchens, and we ate in several times as a result. Maison Polanka organised a full day temple tour for us with the delightful and knowledgeable guide Mr Kim Chour and our inimitable tuk tuk driver for the week, Mr Binthoun. Both were friendly and just great. The Blue Mansion is such an amazing place to stay. You feel as though you've stepped back in time, while taking all the comforts from modern society with you. "I had my 2nd fabulous stay at Reverie Siam, in as many months, and cannot add anything that has not already been said in the other reviews, except for the fact that everything was consistently great for my 2nd stay as for my 1st (see my 1st review) (…) The resort is definitely a gem, a serene & luxurious oasis, that is equally perfect for couples or singles looking for a relaxing, or romantic get-away. (...) The background music & nightly live music adds an intimate enjoyment while enjoying a refreshing cocktail or a glass (or 2!) of wine. All of these things, and the too-many-special-added-touches to mention, creates a wonderful ambience of peace, serenity, intimacy, romance, and enjoyment for discerning couples & singles. I cannot recommend this resort enough, but on the other hand, I would like to keep it my secret! If it is total relaxation you are after then this hotel is perfect. The massage facilities are superb and very reasonably priced, breakfast on the beach or dinner watching the magnificent sunsets all add to the enjoyment. With ample space in the pleasant grounds for all guests to either be alone or in the company of fellow guests, this hotel offers a totally relaxing experience. This hotel is truly a little gem! We were glad to be close to the city when we chose to go in, but so glad to be able to come back to the peaceful and beautiful grounds of the Villa Song. From the time we checked in until we left, the staff was attentive, professional and very friendly. Excellent customer service! The room/bathroom was spacious, well decorated, spotless and had all the modern amenities. We ate several meals there and in each instance they were very good and the kitchen went out of their way in the presentation of the food. The menu was diverse and wine list comprehensive. A special shout out to Kevin who went out of his way to accommodate our special menu requests plus genuinely take an interest in the guests. This hotel truly deserves an excellent rating in all areas of operation!Dewakan: "Top of the World"
3 Michelin stars ! We ordered only the 5 course menu, but they served at least 4 more dishes as complimentary. Dewakan is a must, if you have the opportunity to visit. My pictures shall tell the rest …
