You must visit this place if you can afford to and can get a table; delicious food that is a cut above the rest, successfully fusing traditional Khmer cuisine with all sorts of other influences. Atmosphere can be a bit stuffy, mainly due to the type of customer it attracts, but come for the food and enjoy yourselves. Is actually good value given the quality of cooking when you compare with typical costs of other tourist oriented restaurants in town. We visited with young children and they were very accommodating doing the full menu with smaller portions for our 9 year old and some chicken fried rice for our 5 year old; both kids declared the food delicious and ate everything in sight. Some very good wines as well. We managed to get an outside table at quite short notice despite them saying they were fully booked for months; if you don't ask you don't get!Locavore: "One of the best restaurants in Bali"
In short, Locavore is one of the best restaurants in Bali and in Indonesia. Just fantastic on every level and it offers some unique dining experiences. It really is a fun and interesting restaurant with a cool atmosphere. The food is delicious and it manages to tickle all your senses and taste buds. The only option here is the tasting menu (5 or 7 dishes) as there is no a la carte menu as far as I know. All the dishes were unique and creative and combined modern cooking with local and traditional cuisines. I think my favourite was the “Let’s call it a ceviche” fish dish and the “Into the sawah” duck egg dish. Both looked so beautiful and tasted terrific. In short, we all very much enjoyed our dinner here. The only thing that disappointed me was a cocktail that I had ordered, because I think it contained too much bitters. I couldn’t finish it. The food and presentation was amazing though. So, I think I’ll be back when they change their menu.Satri House: "One of the best"
We really loved this hotel and definitely one of the best we've ever visited. From the staff, to the rooms, to the gardens, to the food, to the amenities... They were really polished in every aspect. We can easily imagine spending a relaxing month pottering about the town and surrounds of Luang Prabang and staying at Satri House. There is a lap pool and a main pool which is a very calm and cool place to enjoy a book and a snack or a beer. The room was a suite (4.2.1) which was beautifully appointed and very spacious overlooking the main pool. There was plenty of storage, a sitting area, a large bathroom, desk, etc and good wifi. We wondered if it might be a throwback to 1920s Indochine.Manukan Island Resort: "Superb"

We came to David's after a long day at the elephant sanctuary in search of a little pampering, and David's did not disappoint. They kindly picked us up from our hotel which was very nice and convenient. The ambiance is very peaceful and beautifully decorated. It is apparent that David cares very much about each guest's experience and there is much attention to detail. Cocktails were amazing! The staff are very attentive and I would recommend coming here for a special evening you won't forget. "Amazing dinner at Akame! A modern Taiwanese aboriginal cuisine restaurant in Pingtung, the two chefs Alex and Sky are both Rukai people, creating new styles of aboriginal grilled cuisine. We were meeting friends in Nong Khai and they asked us to go to their favourite restaurant in the area. We were not disappointed and can fully understand why they enjoy it so much. It's a narrow restaurant with a sort of mezzanine that allows you to overlook the restaurant and see the food being prepared and cooked from upstairs. It does not hold too many customers. The staff were very friendly, but the food is the real star of the show. It is fresh, tasty and well presented. A real surprise was the lovely desserts. "We didn't know what to expect - having been recommended by a friend who recently moved to HCM City to work as a teacher but we were very pleasantly surprised! The menu was in both languages and also had photos also! The employees had been extremely patient and useful and also showed us how you can come several of the meals into the Vietnamese like rolls! The portions were huge and also the food was tastey. "We loved 4 Rivers - it was so tranquil and away from it all (including the Internet!) and after a frenetic few days at Siem Reap and in Phnom Penh it was just amazing to spend time relaxing. The tents are great fun, especially the barrel showers and the rooms are comfortable. The food was really tasty and the young chef is very talented and artistic. All the staff are very friendly and obliging. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"
