Flower Island: "Fabulous cook"

Review by: Julievhl | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed 4 nights on flower island in Bungalow number 5. The room was very clean and spacious, a few meters from the sea, under some trees; perfect for a nap under the shade of palms. The island is small but not tiny, and there are quite a few options for activities: snorkling, kayak, etc. Stuck on an island is nice to know you'll have a good meal, and what a cook they have! The food was delicious, lots of options with fish, meat, and veggies. We loved it! The staff is super nice and very helpful. They organized a show for Chinese New Year, and your could see how they enjoyed entertaining their guests, it was really nice. Highly recommended place to stay in Palawan. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"

Tugu Bali: "A slice of Heaven"

Review by: 4AfricanGypsy | Source: Trip Advisor
"The great service started at the airport when we met our smiling driver Dewo! Had no idea how crazy the streets around Bali could be and was thankful to be driven by a local :) We arrived at Hotel Tugu mid evening to a beautiful lights and warm atmosphere and friendly welcome and shown to our beautiful charming room - we had a family suit with inter leading doors and a GREAT bath! We loved all our time at Tugu and am just sorry not to have tried out all their ""experience"" suggestions - next time dinner on the beach! This was out first trip to Bali and we could come back here - we had a drive over to the South Kuta side and although they have nicer beaches we felt the intimate setting of Tugu so much nicer than the sprawling mass hotel feel of somewhere like Ayodya! Breakfast could be eaten at the pool or dining area overlooking the ocean and the kids loved the banana pancakes. We all loved the food at the Japanese restaurant on site and had fun exploring the area up to Echo Beach and LOVED the visit to Tanah Lot (best at high tide for photos). Driving anywhere takes a lot of time so it was lovely to be able to have a good choice of things to do (surfing lessons, swimming, cooking etc) right on the doorstep. LOVED this place!"

Rahai’i Pangun: "Absolutely fantastic!"

Review by: aerete | Source: Trip Advisor
"We took the two night cruise to see the orangutans and visit the local Dayak river villages. Wow Borneo responded promptly to every question we had. Making reservations was very simple. Top deck of the boat allows a lot of space to walk about and to sit in comfortable deck chairs to enjoy the river cruise. The dining area was at the back on the top deck as well. They have a great cook who prepared wonderful, tasty, local foods. I would say it’s some of the best food we’ve had in the two years we’ve lived in Indonesia. The rooms were basic and the bed was very comfortable. We splurged on a room with air conditioning, which was well worth the added cost after an active hot day in Borneo. While there is no hot water for the showers, that’s not a real problem given that the water temperature was about 28 to 32 Celsius…It felt good to cool off a bit. The visits to the Dayak villages were enjoyable. We took motorized canoes up the tributaries to access the villages, which added to the adventure. The villagers were very welcoming and you could tell that they were proud of their communities. They had a local group of dancers and performers come right onto the ship in the afternoon. They were very proud of the dances that they performed. In fact, there are spirited competitions that the local community group had won several times. They were all wonderful. The orangutans were a blast! We went to the orangutan rehabilitation center to learn about their initiative to return orangutans back into the wild. We took small motorized canoes up the tributaries to access the islands that the orangutans live on. They would come down by the river to watch us as we passed by. It was amazing to watch them as they would swing through the trees. Truly amazing creatures. It was nice to get away from Jakarta to enjoy the beautiful scenery of this still wild area of Indonesia. It was great to stand out on the deck at night and watch all the stars. Ah, and what beautiful sunsets! We had several hours between when the cruise ended and when our flight departed. We asked the crew if they could recommend places to visit in Palangkaraya. They called ahead to their friends and relatives and spontaneously made arrangements to tour the city for a nominal fee. They brought us to the old part of the city, which was fascinating to walk through. This trip was great value for the money. It was an incredible memorable experience. One of the highlights of our stay in Indonesia."

Tugu Bali: "High quality hotel with strong historical identity"

Review by: yvesballe | Source: Trip Advisor
"We enjoyed very much Tugu Hotel for the beginning of our honeymoon with my wife, through a three nights stay. The particularity of Tugu Hotel is that it is also a kind of museum with valuable and well designed pieces of furniture, decorations and paintings. Rooms are like small houses with an internal private courtyard and a swimming pool. The garden is also well designed with nice statues coming from ages. The staff is nice: everyone in the hotel knew our names since the beginning for instance. "

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Blue Heaven”“Blue Heaven"

Review by: Claudia B | Source: Trip Advisor
Calm, spacious, ultimate attention to detail. The blue lime washed walls fill your vision. The very high ceilings leave room for generous breeze ways. It is residing in your personal but extravagant fantasy. And it is a very shot walk to Red Garden, the outdoor food hall of your dreams.

Tugu Malang: "Best hotel in Malang"

Review by: Afifa A | Source: Trip Advisor
"Everytime i go to Malang, East Java, Indonesia, I always stay at this hotel. This hotel has a really different atmosphere with so much acculturation of javanese, dutch colonialism as well as chinese. All of the decorations were pretty, and photo spot-worthy. Facility is also very nice. Food and service are also excellent. Don't forget to attend the tea time service in the second floor every afternoon. Such a wonderful experience with all the traditional teas, mini cakes and sweets."

Villa Song Saigon: "Hotel de charme"

Review by: Fabienne V | Source: Trip Advisor
Situated in a very quiet area in HCMC (District 2), the Villa Song is a magnificent colonial style hotel. The view to the river is just an enchantment for the eyes. The services provided in the spa are really excellent. If you can't afford to stay at the hotel, just go and have a drink or a lunch, it's a nice experience!

Reverie Siam Pai: "Best of the best"

Review by: TannatTan27 | Source: Trip Advisor
"I have been to Reverie Siam for dinner every time I went to Pai. And, this time I decided to stay overnight with my family in 2 rooms. That is NOT disappointing at all. I love the place, staff, service and food. My father is in wheelchair and it is convenient for us to get to the room and restaurant. Even there is step at entrance to the restaurant, staff always offered help to carry our wheelchair when my father went up/down the steps. Staff were friendly and genuine. Service is 5-star. The guestroom is spacious, nice decorated and comfortable. There are plenty of rooms for you to put your stuff. The bathroom is spacious, they have shower room and bath tub in separate areas. Water pressure of shower is very good and temperature is stable. They don't have iron for you to borrow. But they offer to iron your cloth for free and it will be done in 5 minutes and delivered to your room. We had dinner at Silhouette restaurant that was lovely as always. The gentleman who runs the restaurant greeted us and recommended food & drinks. Food was delicious and tasty. After dinner, we went to the walking street by hotel's shuttle tuk tuk that was very convenient and when returned, driver came to pick us up on time as per their schedule. I love everything at this hotel and will definitely return for longer stay really soon."

David’s Kitchen: "Can I find some original words to express our satisfaction for dinner at David’s Kitchen?"

Review by: pachen | Source: Trip Advisor
"Arrived in Chang Mai just 4 hours prior to walking into David's Kitchen, no reservation nor any idea of how popular and fully booked the place always is....never mind, David and his staff welcomed us very kindly and did the miracle: few minutes later a table with personalized welcome card was waiting for us :) The environment is very pleasant, dinner at DK is more than just food: lights, music, smells, all senses are pleased at David's. Menu is very interesting and variated. DIshes are elegantly presented, I recommend the pomelo salad and the duck breast with orange sauce, both excellent, but I would say that every dish we chose has been very good. The wine list is very complete and desserts suggestions are very inviting. Finally the staff has been very professional and kind all the way through, including the lift back they gave us in the restaurant's car at the end of dinner. So, maybe I did not manage to say many new things on David's place and I will finish with another obvious one: we are going to go back there before we leave from Chang Mai!"
