The Governor’s House: "Oasis of calm"
I have to say, for the first time in many years, all the team at The Governors House made my wife and I feel so welcome, that we did, dab our eyes a little as we left. It really is somewhere special amongst the chaos and mayhem that is Phnom Penh. There was the comfortable room, the excellent restaurant (the best John Dory I have eaten since leaving Europe), the marvels of the wine cellar, the refreshing pool, however, the crowning glory is the human touch, so good that we declined to go anywhere else during our 4 night stay, except for sight seeing. Alain and his team, Francois, Samlot, Mary and Kim and the others all touched our life in a way that is uniquely Cambodian, when we return it is because of them, not because of the amazing temples, fantastic pagodas and jaw dropping scenery. Thank you to you all.SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Fine Dining In Yangon"
This place is run by a charming and experienced Swiss couple who clearly know what they are doing - the ambience is great the food excellent and the service is good. We meant to go back again for lunch but sadly were not able to fit it in. Well worth a visit and highly recommendedRachamankha: "Haven of tranquility…"
We stayed here for 5 nights in July 2015, and can honestly say what a magical place it is. It’s in a brilliant location within the old town, and yet is so peaceful and tranquil. The layout of the hotel feels beautifully designed and considered. The service and staff and are very professional, helpful and friendly, in particularly Paul the manager. If you have chance to stay here then do - it really is unique and we couldn’t recommend it more!FLOWER ISLAND: "Tropical Island Paradise"
"My wife and I sent several wonderful days at Flower Island Resort. We made the special trip to see the Jewelmer Golden Pearl Farm on our second day. There we were shown how the oysters are propagated and grown. The crew there showed us the process of grafting oysters(where the bead is inserted in to the gonad) as while as the harvesting of the lustrous Golden Pearls. Our room was very comfortable traditional native hut with modern conveniences such as air conditioning and hot running water. We really enjoyed the wide variety of meals especially the pearl meat salad. There is a trail to a tower at the top of the island that gives you a 360 degree view. Another path takes you all the way around the island in about 35 minutes. "VILLA SONG SAIGON: "The Gem on the riverside"
"I can just agree with other reviewers, this place is lovely ....a quiet haven after hours in the city of HCMC with noise, traffic, and stress. Just relax in the shade by the pool with a nice book,or have a drink by the riverside watching the boats passing. Very confy bed and pillows.Lovely breakfast and lunch. The staff very helpful sorting out some issues with my airline for the returnflight. I have already reserved my next stay at Villa Song. See you in november.Thank you. "Villa Song Saigon: "The best hotet ever"
This is the most amazing hotel I have stayed in Asia! Excellent service, friendly people, design and style, real french charm! Michelin level restaurant, high call massage, boutique gym and beautiful pool!4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Excellent place to relax"
4 Rivers Floating lodge was an excellent place to relax. Calm, peaceful and blissful. A large variety of activities, from kayaking, jungle trekking etc. The staff and manager were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely visit again.Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Fantastic"
Delighted with our stay here. It only has 6 rooms, so the service is very personal, compounded by the fact it is also a hospitality school so you are helping students learn. The room was large and luxurious and the food was the best we had eaten in Myanmar by far.Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Free & Ease to Penang"
My friend & I had enjoyed to stay at The Blue Mansion. Staff are helpful & friendly, hotel room is big and comfortable and you can place order for your breakfast. For Dinner, you can walk to Red Garden Food Centre next door, there are wide ranges of food for your selections.Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Get away from it all"
We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. There were only 4 other couples staying, we had the pool to ourselves most of the time, the hotel is surrounded by lovely gardens/plants/trees with a giant lily pond in the grounds. Food was very nice but it is cambodian only, if you want western then you will have to go into battambang. Unfortunately you cannot get away from the party/religious music that goes on at night and early morning from the village (April is party/wedding season) but keeping the air con on all night helps to drown it out. Also dont worry about creatures jumping on the roof in the night - not sure what they were but you get used to it. Lovely staff. Would not say this is a place for families just couples.
