MesaStila Resort and Spa: "Best Honeymoon spot"
"My husband and i have literally just left the resort and i want to go back. I have had an amazing time. 1. The place was beautiful 2. The facilities were amazing. 3. The staff were very attentive, friendly and made our stay memerabe. 4. Very luxurious We traveled for 24 hours and as the drove us through the front gates we saw the beautiful building (old stationhouse) they use as a lobby. All the buildings on the site were rescued from destruction and given new life. The detail even down to the hot towels on arrival made us feel so welcome. That little touch helped wipe our travels off our face. The spa treatments are very well priced. Our hamam with a body scrub was very needed, and part of the reason i want to go back. The food were great and the breakfast veey yummy. My favorite part was watching my husbands face drinking the tonic at breakfast. They offer various brews that help clease the body. As i worked at a head office for organic juicing i know that all are very healthy and great quality. There was a previous comment by someone about things taking longer. Yes they do because the staff take care to make sure things are right. If you stayed as long as we did(6 days/5night) then you would know they take just as much pride in the place as the owners must do. Plenty of activites to satisfy."Supanniga Eating Room: "Very yummy"
Really lovely restaurant with great food, polite service and ambience. We came here for dinner and the staffs were so attentive. The space is quite small so there is only a limited number of tables, so I would suggest you book in advance. I saw about 5 groups of walk ins get turned away during dinner. The Apsara Rive Droite: "A real gem!"
The Apsara rive droite is a lovely small friendly and luxurios hotel. We loved it and had a river view room with a nice terrass overlooking the river. The staff was nice and especially the assistant manager who was so helpsome and kind. We borrowed bikes during the day and took the hotels river boat in the evening. We relaxed around the pool and most of the time it was peaceful and quiet. I was surprised to ser that there were small kids since I had seen on the internet that kids under 12 were not allowed! Of course it 's hard for young kids to talk quitely and not to yell and laugh loudly so I think it would be better in such a quiet place not to let kids stay there. When you travel without your kids you don't want to be awakened by other kids and you want to have breakfast and other meals in quiet surroundings. It could be old information but there still is information on certain sites that kids are not allowed. It's a super nice place and I really recommended it!Les Maisons d’Itac: "Quiet retreat in top notch accomodations"
My wife and I spent 6 nights at Maison D'Itac in the lovely Bamboo room. We took a Ceres line aircon bus (105 pesos per person) from Cebu City and arrived 3 hours later. Bryon picked us up in Ronda, the nearest city - about 5 minutes from the Maison. Bryon and his staff were excellent during our stay and we enjoyed a very peaceful and relaxing time there. We even got to a wonderful pig roasted lunch that Bryon provided in a celebration of the baptism of his baby boy. and the daily breakfast is quite filling wo we ended up eating only one more meal (dinner) each day. We rented a motor bike in Moalboal (15 minutes away) as local transportation is limited. We enjoyed several nice dinners in Panagsama Beach, a divers resort area, as well as a day snorkeling, another day canyoning, and one day at the White beach. The area is somewhat laid back and not highly developed yet. It is a wonderful area to hang out and enjoy warm waters, warm days and nights. We were there in December and the temperatures were perfect, sunny days with a mild wind everyday.Mathis Retreat: "Great stay"
"We spent four nights at Ubud in Kenanga Hotel during our August visit to Bali & Lombok. This has been our preferred location of our full holiday. Ubud is brilliant and Kenanga absolutely perfect. Once you are in the hotel you are out of the Ubud chaos and you can really relax. Wonderful view and extreme kindness the two top factors. My son (5 years old) enjoyed so much beeing free and look at ducks or walk on the small tracks through the rice fields. Karine, the hotel manager, has been very helpful with a lot of suggestions on how to use at the best our available days. We also tried a cooking lesson organized in the hotel just for us and we really enjoyed it too. The hotel restaurant is very good also for the demanding Italian tastes. Go there !!!"Reverie Siam Pai: "A distinguished retreat amongst the charm of Pai"
"An excellently laid out design and interior, which evokes an aristocratic air of elegance. A few friends and I came here mid afternoon after a little sightseeing and were treated with great care and attention by the staff. After feasting over a few shared Chef and Mediterranean Vegetable boards, we all left in the highest of spirits."Villa Mathis: "Romantic Experience"

Room Tip: Perfect Romantic Experience place for couple to be intimate , very safe"Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "The most amazing experience"
"O h my goodness! These people know about customer service! Not only the nicest people running this but really smart too. Knew everything about the wildlife so it was a great learning experience and so interesting. The level of detail they have gone into to make this a truly exceptional experience is unbelievable. The food is probably the best I've had in Sri Lanka and that's saying something! The accommodation is clean and so well designed. We were lucky enough to be staying in the beautiful master bedroom tent which is truly exquisite. Showering under the stars in complete privacy and safety is something I will remember forever. Our two teenage sons found this to be an awesome experience and as we know, teenagers can be a tough crowd to please! Sadly, we didn't see any leopards on either of the two drives but we did see plenty of other interesting wildlife. Others we met had seen some leopards on their drives so we were just unlucky and that can't be helped. None the less it was the highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka without question."Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Spa/restaurant/beach"
This place is one of a kind. The location is beautiful. The seafood is excellent with authentic Kerala food. Our room is awesome and very rustic. The beach was beautiful. We were surrounded by wild life and everything was wonderful.Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "The Best Experience"
While we were a bit unlucky in the leopard spotting - though we did see one for a split second as it flashed across the track, we had a fantastic time at this extremely professionally run operation. Our only wish was that we could have had some more time there. It wasn't just the safari experience which was excellent, with a real passion to show the big and small animals and birds, but the camp was extremely comfortable with some of the best food we encountered in Sri Lanka. Noel & Cecile and their team also are very knowledgeable and could clearly explain many issues related to cultural and historical aspects of Sri Lanka that we were interested in as well.
