Maisons Wat Kor: "The most charming hotel"
We stayed here for 3 nights during our honeymoon recently and it was a highlight! What a beautiful hidden gem, we just loved it. The staff here are so incredibly friendly, we were sad to say goodbye to them. The whole place was very relaxing and we enjoyed spending some time by the peaceful swimming pool area, as well as enjoying a massage in the serene pavilion that overlooks the pond. The food choices were a little bit limited, but we understand that this is only a small hotel and they take great pride in creating local dishes from home-grown produce etc. We visited Battambang town several times during our stay by tuk tuk, which only cost a few dollars and could be easily arranged from the property. We can see what Angelina Jolie stayed here - we can't wait until we can come and stay again!tugu lombok: "Beautiful location, excellent service"
"Spent six nights at Tugu Lombok and can thoroughly recommend it. The beach location is fantastic and the staff at the hotel couldn't do enough for us. If you want a real get-away-from-it-all holiday it would be hard to beat, you can just enjoy the views, swim and laze. But if you want more activity you can go on excursions - the snorkelling trip to the Gilis is probably essential for most, but we did decide against the trekking! The rooms are amazing, we had our own 'bungalow' with a huge double bed, veranda for sitting outside and a small private courtyard if required. But best of all was the bathroom open to the outdoors! The restaurants offer great food and plenty of variety, and we must thank the staff for their friendliness, and helpful service, they made us feel very welcome. The last night send-off was most unexpected and touching. We've stayed in some lovely places but this is hard to beat. "Labyrinth: "Wonderful and Playful interpretation of Singaporen cuisine"
Restaurant Labyrinth has successfully took interpretation of Singaporean cuisine to the next level. From start to finish, every dish is made with a purpose to bring you back to Singaporean food memories typical of everyone living in this city. The tasting menu consists of a great amount of food and will definitely leave you satisfied. The Apsara Rive Droite: "Fantastic stay"
"Had a beautiful second floor room, facing the river with a balcony. Location was perfect (little bit quieter part of town but easy to walk everywhere). Comfortable room, comfortable hotel, great for a relaxing vacation. Really enjoyed all interaction with all staff, everyone was helpful and welcoming. Included breakfast was delicious, ample free water was provided. We had a couple of yummy meals in the restaurant. Highly recommend staying here. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"Samanea Beach Resort: "A lovely place fr a hideway"
"Second visit to Samanea, and the gardens have grown, the views from the jetty still amazing, the mangrove project ambitious and fascinating... and the team and service much better than the first time. Congratulation for the good work!"Samanea Beach Resort: "Great relaxing time"
spent a few days in the resort and it was very relaxing. The pool is very big and the nature is everywhere. We really enjoyed the quiet area surrounding the resort. The beach is not that big but the view was very peaceful.Cuca: "Worth the hype. Great lunch – next time dinner"
"We went here after getting a recommendation from someone staying at our hotel in Nusa Dua. We went for lunch and it was. Wet quiet on the midweek day that we went. I think the place would be buzzing for dinner. We sat inside in the Air-conditioning and we were served by great staff who explore menu very well and gave recommendations on how to get the best out of our experience. Drinks and cocktails were awesome and the food was perfect. My 8 year old was well catered for and we had ample food, cocktails and a couple of beers, kids meal which came to about $130. We will definitely go back but for dinner next time."Tugu Malang: "A unique museum hotel"
I was staying here after a long motor ride from Surabaya and spoiled myself with all the beautiful interior furniture that has been chosen carefully. Some vintage and antique wall wood working and painting make this hotel looks like a museum with all the art being put there. Every room and chamber has its own design. Mixture between Javanese, Balinese wood furniture and old colonial building. A unique bathroom with vintage stainless bath tub and sink, also nice packaging of the amenities put another credit for this hotel. Some of the room is made for a real museum with all the ancient chinese ceramic pottery, bronze sculptures, silver dining set, small statue aged hundreds years which decribe the owner must be a filthy rich collectors. But I don't really like the part of the hotel which made as mediteranian middle east concept that seems bland and unmatch comparing to the other parts of the hotel. In the afternoon they serve various local tea and coffee, herbal drink and traditional snack for free for the guest staying in the hotel. Overall, I am quite satisfied staying there even only one night. Worth the value of money.Jing’s Residence: "Paradise in Pingyao"
While Pingyao did not blow me away - this hotel sure did! My husband and I were helped with the trains by the staff, and they graciously extended our checkout to protect us from the rain. Iman is absolutely wonderful and all the staff treat you amazingly. The breakfast was the best we had in China and all the little touches really made our stay memorable. If you're going to Pingyao, stay here!!MesaStila: "Super attentive staff!"
"I rarely write a review for hotels but MesaStila definitely deserves an excellent review! You can read others' review about the breathtaking views and comfortable villas but here i want to praise the staff for how attentive they are! I lost a ring there and just realized it after i left MesaStila and arrived in Semarang. So i called them and i didn't even ask them to look for my ring (because it's very silly to bother the staffs to look for a ring in a 22 hectares estate), i only told them that i lost my ring and just in case anyone sees it, i would appreciate if they let me know, so i left my number. An hour after that, they called me and they said they looked everywhere and found my ring on a floor at the club house! I don't even know how they managed to find it but they did, and they couriered it to me the next day. Can you believe... Would totally recommend MesaStila for everyone, especially for those who often left their stuffs at hotels ;)"
