NOEL RODRIGO’S LEOPARD SAFARIS: "Superb experience"
"Had an amazing time, even though it was just for one night, it was a memorable time for me and my family. In general it's quite difficult to find fault with any aspect of it. From the tent and the facilities therein, the service and attentiveness of the staff, the layout of the campsite itself, and the attention to detail in every aspect was looked into. For anyone interested in enjoying an authentic Sri Lankan spread, this is the place to go to, a good variety of local fruit and vegetables... In terms of the safari into the park, the vehicle is well equipped and comfortable. Most notable however is the expertise and knowledge imparted to us by the the managers, Sajith and Danushka with regard to the animals, bird life etc making the experience all the more enjoyable. Overall a worthwhile visit, which you will not be disappointed by, five stars across the board. "Manukan Island Resort: "Just best!"
"It's an amazing place! Peaceful, quiet! Excellent staff, organized such a great bday celebration! Resort has kind of ""a private beach"" with umbrellas and chairs. Houses are away one from each other, so you have a great view from your accommodation. Food at the resort is just the best - the best one I've tried in Malaysia! And very inexpensive! Prices for accommodation is cheaper during the weekdays. To get to the island you can by boat from a pier in KK."Flower Island Resort: "Excelente!!"
"We were 4 families that stayed in Glenburn Tea Estate for 4 days from 26 th Dec to 30th Dec 2015. It was a SUPERB holiday. The property is awesome... Both the colonial bungalows are tastefully furnished.....we were blessed with clear skies on all the days and thus we were awed by the magnificent views of the Himalayas, of course the highlight being the Kanchenjunga....you feel one with nature here... The rooms are spotlessly clean and spacious. They've retained their old world charm. The food was great with a different cuisine being served everyday. Breakfast and lunch in the outdoors and dinner in a beautiful dining room. They even organised a lovely bonfire for us one evening! Faye and Will are lovely hosts. The staff which includes their guides, drivers, cooks, housekeeping staff... Just about everyone are fabulous. The personal attention to detail was impressive. The service faultless!!!! We spent our days hiking, fishing and just languishing on the verandah or the gardens absorbing the gorgeous view and the tranquility of Glenburn. Both our hikes, one to the suspension bridge to Sikkim and the other to the campsite at the river followed by a barbecue lunch and a game of cricket were great. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners Anshuman and Husna Tara Prakash while we were in residence. They are a super couple and their all round supervision and dedication to maintaining the high standards is evident when one talks to them. The roads to and around the tea estate are bumpy but once there it is PARADISE ON EARTH. We are all looking forward to returning to Glenburn soon. A must visit for families, friends, couples or even solo travellers. Stayed December 2015, traveled with friends"Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "OMG"
I cannot say enough good things about the Golden Buddha Beach Resort. I wanted a beach hotel that was secluded, just-the-right-amount-of-rustic, stylish, and on a deserted beach. We got it! The hotel’s website is intelligently discrete but its description is correct. Highlights: meeting the hotel manager (Massi), the hotel's French owner (so friendly!), the New Years Eve dinner buffet, and the massage. The only recommendation I would make: the main dishes at lunch and dinner could benefit from a vegetable side dish; vegetable side dishes should be offered on the menu; the pricing of food could be a tad more reasonable.Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Beautiful, unspoilt, far flung"
It's a bit a trek to get to (4.5 hours from Phuket airport) but it's worth it. A set of individual villas for rent next to the deserted beach with monkeys, hornbills, butterflies and pigs for company. The staff, particularly Massi, are super friendly.misool: "Wonderful vacation"
"We visited for 7 nights and had a wonderful time. The diving was exceptional. My wife and I have about 80 dives from Fiji, Bali and the Caribbean, so we are experienced but not experts. The dive team was fantastic and the sites themselves were the best we have been to by far. All close by. The resort does much more than talk about ""eco"" . They are dedicated and it shows in almost all that goes on. Food was great, accommodations were comfortable and the staff is very helpful, I went and got a pot of coffee the first morning to bring back to our porch and the next day they brought it to us at 6:30 am. It is not a luxurious, stuffy, place but very comfortable and unique in the world. We had water cabin 5 and I think it would be my choice in the future because it is sheltered from the afternoon sun but my wife thought water cabin 8 would be preferable because it is a little more private ( it gets the sun in the afternoon though) We will go back sometime for sure."SANAK RETREAT BALI: "Heaven"
"We visited as a family and had a wonderful time. The villas are super comfy as is the bedding! Food amazing...good wine list...wonderful staff...divine setting...what more could one ask for?Would most def visit again! "Muang La Lodge: "Belle adresse"
Here every detail is a plus that adds to our well-being ... The first place along the river, the garden, pavilions, swimming pool, warm pool .... Breakfast and good and well presented dinner. I enjoyed a nice massage. Small various attentions provide comfort (brazier, fruit in the room, tea and water available in various places) rewarding excursion in the villages. Welcome by Raphael and Mathilde.Supanniga Eating Room: "Excellent Local Cuisine"
Great restaurant offering local cuisine in a comfortable & stylish environment. Easy walk from several hotels. We arrived without a reservation & a table was quickly found for us despite it being busy. The service was good & fairly prompt. The menu has a nice variety of meat, fish & veg options. A great choice & good evening.Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
