Review by: Devin W | Source: Trip Advisor
"Arumdalu is the best place to get a little getaway from your hustle and bustles in daily life. This is the ultimate destination to connect with the nature, enjoy the calm beach, catch the sunset, and to touch base with the unexplored. Sahang Beachfront, their in-house restaurant is one of the best restaurant on earth, where they serve delicious fusion culinary using their natural and organic ingredients. Overall, Arumdalu Private Resort Belitung is a must-visit place in your lifetime, it will be much worth it. Stayed March 2017, traveled on business"

Tugu Bali: "Excellent performance"

Review by: Monique I | Source: Trip Advisor
"We didn't stay at this hotel. We walked in off the street and were completely drawn in by the decor. It's gorgeous! We walked around, saw the store downstairs, the beautiful swimming pool and grounds, walked around every floor and saw the amazing views. There were lovely air-conditioned rooms with individuals working at their computers so I think this would be a great place for folks with computer work to do. We were told there was a free performance with dinner so we stayed. The performance was 3 different dances with men playing gongs and the gamelan. It was a wonderful evening in a fabulous space. We met an Australian couple who were staying there and chatted with them for a while. They said the rooms were wonderful too. Also a great place to stay or for a special evening for couples. Thank you Hotel Tugu for a wonderful evening and for the photos! Room Tip: Stay for the performance"

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Very tranquil visit"

Review by: Sarah O | Source: Trip Advisor
"We had a great time at 4 Rivers Koh Kong. There is no air conditioning or wifi here, but they had enough fans in the room that it really wasn't much of an issue. They did not provide lotion in their toiletries. When I asked if they had any, they let me borrow some of the staffs personal lotion for my skin. The resort is very remote and charming. One of the chairs and the umbrella were broken on our patio, but it didn't hamper our stay. We really enjoyed our tours with Robbie and Wee, many of the guides are local and still learning English, so it was fun to talk with them! Everyone was so friendly! They had a good selection of food options. The food ranged from average, to good, but nothing was exceptional. My only disappointment was that they have so many local fruits, but only offered orange juice from a box for breakfast. I think that if they had a juicer and could offer an option of local fruit juices that would be a nice touch. I'd highly recommend spending 2-3 days here and just enjoying the beautiful sunsets, and swimming in the river and just being ""off the grid"". The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"

Stayed December 2016, traveled solo"

Mrauk U Princess Resort: "Best in Mrauk-U"

Review by: Daniel M | Source: Trip Advisor
"Excellent rustic hotel in Mrauk U. The hotel has its own jetty that takes about 4:30 hours from Sittwe airport. Sunrise breakfast charge 150 for 5 people to watch the sunrise in the the mountain and have breakfast there. Bicycles are available for rent for $5 for full day and $3 for half day. The pool in the middle of the lotus flower lake is great but the water is cold. Breakfast is included; for other meals the restaurant has a vast menu priced in USD. Can't go wrong with the curry, coconut rice (not found on the menu) and the lentil soup . The Internet rarely works but then again who cares when you are immersed in history. Stayed January 2017, traveled with friends"

Slow Villas and Spa: "Le paradis sur terre"

Review by: Marie M | Source: Trip Advisor

Discover Muang La | Visit Laos | Luxury & Boutique Hotel: "A very special place"

Review by: Tim L | Source: Trip Advisor
I would echo Meredith, Dan and others who have given this a rating of five - or more. We enjoyed every minute of our time at Muang La Lodge and would have stayed longer if we could have. From the moment we walked through the gates, we felt well cared for and knew we were in good hands at a very special location. The care they take, not only with their guests but with the local villagers, is palpable. We had a room overlooking the river - and the "public" hot springs used the the villagers (which the hotel built for them in exchange for the villagers allowing the hotel to use water from the hot springs). While I was initially concerned upon hearing this, it ended up being a great thing to watch villagers young and old come and use it in the later afternoon. Staff was incredible and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and well cared for. Both breakfast and dinner were fabulous. The grounds were beautiful and well cared for. Our room was well appointed and very comfortable. The quality of sleep was wonderful: the bed was great with high-quality pillows, and the room was quiet with only a hint of sound from the river outside, which made it even easier to sleep. What are you waiting for - book now!

Supanniga Eating Room: "Consistantly good"

Review by: Aureliochine1 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We've hit Supanniga again last night. Every time (twice a year) we come to Bangkok we make sure to have dinner there and have always been rewarded for sticking to good old habits. Last night was no exception. We tried to innovate choosing dishes we'd never tried before and were pleased with every single taste. Service was as always attentive. Supanigga remains a good destination for whoever is looking for good thai food with a twist in a cozy yet animated environment"

Satri House: "Absolutely wonderful"

Review by: julie c | Source: Trip Advisor
"Have been to LP many times, this is a top pick if you can afford it. The place is absolutely gorgeous with great decoration, super comfortable rooms and bed, beautiful gardens and pool, very helpful staff. The spa is also great as is the breakfast and homemade jams! Well located too. It’s a treat!"

Tugu Bali: "A+ Service. Beautiful Rooms"

Review by: sarahhelenreynolds | Source: Trip Advisor
So happy we found this beautiful hotel. We were blown away from the moment we walked in. The staff was delightful and very welcoming. The rooms were absolutely stunning, huge comfortable bed, gorgeous plunge pool, excellent AC, luxurious Balinese tub, and beautifully crafted local furniture and art. We also took a cooking class while staying, it was lovely. We'd recommend skipping the market visit, it was a long drive for such a quick stop. Regardless, it was a great way to spend one of our mornings in Canggu. We made enough food to enjoy for lunch and dinner. We definitely enjoyed our stay!
