The Hue House: "So glad i found here"
"This place is a must . Quality food at exceptional prices . Servive top notch . Im cautious when trying viet food even though its spectacular and unique with so much goodness some places tend to use too much oil as i have encountered on a few occasions with mi quang and bo kho when you see the ""yellowish"" oil sticking to the side or floating on the top of the broth but the vietnamese like it this way. The food here is unique to the central of vietnam and omg absolutely minimal use of oil in the broth and dishes and incredibly cooked to perfection. Not only that but so tasty with lots of goodness . The price of the food for the quality made it that more special . This will be my go to place for traditional healthy ""Hue"" food! Be sure to check this place out and make sure you have a big appetite before going as there are so many different unique wonderful healthy dishes"Manda De Laos: "Most treasured dinner in Luang Prabang"
"This is a highlight of any visit to Luang Prabang! We had to cancel our Romantic Menu dinner reservation at the table in the middle of the UNESCO classified Lilly Pond due to unforeseen circumstances, but Manda de Laos was kind enough to move our reservation to the following night, albeit with losing our spot on the island. No problem! They seated us on the open terrace directly adjacent to the pond - an exquisite setting! While the Amuse Bouche was a nice touch, the hors d'oeuvre raised the experience even further: Laab Moo Ping (BBQ pork balls with lemongrass and coriander), Neam Jeun (crispy spring rolls), Ping Kai (BBQ chicken) and Koi Pa (fish salad). While it would have been more of a fine dining experience to received these appetizers individually, it was still delicious. The main course consisted of Or Lam (a Laotian chicken stew with the fascinating ingredient Sakhane, which when bitten into leaves a distinct tingling sensation on the tongue!), Mok Pa (deliciously aromatic fish steamed in banana leaves), Ping Sin (buffalo steak), Ping Dook Moo (spare ribs), Pak (stir-fried vegetables, delicious!) and Khao Khati (crunchy coconut rice). For desert, we had Choux Kuay (a banana cream pie), followed by a delicious coffee. We paired with the house Chardonnay and a Syrah. Manda de Laos also included two cocktails with the menu. It was a thoroughly spectacular evening!"Cuca: "Exceptional!"
"This was easily ranked one of, if not, the best meals we've had in Bali. The property sits on a beautiful idyllic garden surrounded by coconut trees. It has an open concept kitchen and I diners sat by the kitchen counter. Service was excellent, in fact, more than excellent. So much attention to details without being intrusive. Food was an explosion of Flavours. I'm not going to list what we ate but everything we had was amazing. It's the first time I went to a restaurant and not take pics of the food as pics will not justify the experience. Like it says in the menu, come with an open mind and an empty stomach! Totally worth it!"tugu malang: "My brother’s wedding"
"Ok, first review for lodging I've ever written. First of all, this place is amazing I would highly recommend anybody visiting Malang to come here. The accommodations are first class the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Just to mention a few....Dina, Lina, Niluh, Jhon, Nita, Sigit, Hernawan, Wawan, Budi, Yidi, Novi, & Eko all represent this gracious Indonesian culture in the most professional way. Thank you for putting up with the crazy Americans, we will miss you ALL!!!!! CST & Family! "Locavore: "Amazing"
"Quite a different experience of food made with local ingredients, but in a modern way. When you first enter, you can choose from the 5-course menu or 7-course menu, but don't be fooled - there are many more appetizers and desserts that they sneak into the menu. There was also a vegetarian menu, as well as some raw dishes. I don't eat raw stuff, so the waitress advised that I could substitute the items from the vegetarian menu, or other items from the 7 course menu. There is no a la carte menu. As each dish is presented, the waitress will explain briefly about the ingredients and how you are supposed to eat it. I think there are already many pictures of the dishes, so I don't have to go into them in detail. Sufficient to say, each dish is made of a complex and interesting symphony of flavours, so your tongue in for a major treat. The entire 5-course meal took 2 hours, so be sure to budget sufficient time for this experience. Service was friendly and attentive throughout. To book, you can go through the website, and be sure to book 2-3 months in advance to ensure that you can get a slot you want. The restaurant is usually fully booked. Also, if you do book - make sure that you do not get your booking wrong. They are serious about charging USD60 per person for no-shows."Mie Cafe: "Sophisticated dining"
This charming restaurant ticks all the boxes. Service is efficient, friendly and knowledgeable, the food is local but with a modern twist, and beautifully presented, and the setting is in a pretty garden. The tonle sap fish salad, and the frozen lime pie were particularly good.Mume: "Food is very delicious! I will visit again!"
Currently ranked #43 on the Asia Top 50 Restaurants, food at Mume is very delicious. The menu is ala carte, and the selections are short and easy to decide. The cooking is European-Asian fusion. Using a combination of Taiwanese ingredients and Nordic influences to deliver a modern, light cuisine. All the dishes I ordered were very good. I wish to order more, but I had a big lunch and dinner at Mume was early at 6pm. Great service. Will visit again. The restaurant is small. Please make reservation ahead.Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Glorious in every way"
"Well, probably our sixth review of this place over past 10 years and it continues to amaze us, and is better each time. You know already what this place offers, so briefly this time a huge pat on the back for every member of staff; and a warm embrace for Alex who continues to plough his own yoga furrow, teaches beautifully and cocks a snook at modern middle class yoga cultists! Go, before places like this become inaccessible or even slightly over developed. It remains unique. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"Mathis Retreat: "Little gem in Ubud"
We spent 4 nights in Mathis Retreat in April 2017. It was perfect. Excellent service, great restaurant with endless view over the rice fields, owner who is taking care of each guest and make him feel special. Organization of any tour or transport you need. Shuttle to the town every hour. Stylish rooms, great pool..... Highly recommendedDavid’s Kitchen: "Amazing"
Delicious food, great wine, and amazing staff. Went in for dinner twice in one week! Will keep coming back for sure.Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
