Hotel Tugu Lombok: "Idilic Tugu"
What a wonderful Aloon Aloon room we chose with a partly outside bathroom - which did tend to get a little wet in parts due to a deluge of rain at times but we had plenty of towels to mop up with if needed - well it was the rainy season-Many rooms to choose from - The hotel is approx an hour and a half from the airport - but the last half an hour has very winding roads which have amazing views but I felt quite sick sitting in the back of their private taxi - the driver was very good and stopped for me when needed - on the return journey I sat in the front and was much better - we had a lovely welcome from Mr Lin - we sat in front of the wonderful pond with the fish to greet us - Mr Lin let me feed them a few times which was very nice of him - All the staff were very helpful indeed and special thanks to Ellie - sorry if spelt name wrong - enjoyed our chats etc - I couldn't believe the vast grounds of the hotel - you have to see it to believe it - and two amazing swimming pools -not the best beach Ive been to swim in - but you could get their dragon boat which was fun over to the Gillies for half or a day - so comfortable - I could go on and on about Tugu but all in all had a fabulous time so again thank you to everyone - just one thing - the hotel does not have hair dryers which I did find out about before I come after reading trip advisor so I took my own - but it wouldn't hurt to have one for the ladies.Tugu Bali: "Super excellent"
"That was so awesome to stay there with the warm atmosphere The staff so friendly and very helpfull I can feel comfort with the music, food and about the colection I'll be back next time and i'll tell to all of my friends if they visiting bali they must to try stay at hotel tugu bali"Les Maisons d’Itac: "Surprising quality"
We took our staff for a company outing to this property over 3 nights. We are surprised with the quality of the villas, cabanas and pools and the amazing service that was provided. They are really lovely people and Bryan manages the place very well. We had no complaints and nothing went wrong,We purchased our foods and they cooked for us. Its a very quiet and peaceful location which is hard to find in Philippines. The only downsides are the long trip to get there which is about 3 hours and the lack of a beach to swim. On the plus side there are interesting activities around the place like kawasan falls and oslob whale watch, Ideal for people needing such a holiday or company affairs.MAISONS WAT KOR: "Calming and traquil setting"
"Beautiful gardens wrapped around central pond/lake overflowing with blossoming lotus flowers ... truly beautiful. Salt water pool, good kitchen and friendly staff. Beautiful rooms but shower recess could be better. Photos evidence a visit by Brad and Angelina Jolie staying here ... this speaks for itself. Quiet retreat at the end of sometimes frantic days. "Locavore: "A wonderful experience."
"Fantastic fine dinning in the heart of Ubud. The seven courses plus matching drinks were excellent and delicious, as was the pre dinner 'snacks'. The highlights for me were 'into the sawah' and 'bubur sumsum'. The service was outstanding with each dish and drink fully explained by the waitress. My partner and I left full and very satisfied. The experience is not cheap by any means but certainly worth treating yourself when in Ubud or Bali."The Tiger’s Eye: "The attention to detail and clear passion for food is impressive!"
After a day of bustling around Cambodia, sitting down to a long dinner with a friend at The Tigers Eye was just the sanctuary we needed. Not at all stuffy, but definitely an air of simple elegance. The staff are friendly and attentive and clearly are committed to the product that is coming to your table. The menu satisfies all range of happy consumers. This is one menu that certainly does not leave vegetarians as an after thought! The home made tofu and fresh egg noodle dish was sublime and a true indication of the love and pride Chef Tim has for the treats coming from his kitchen. My more carniverous partner in food, was equally as impressed with her confit duck curry. An indication of the scope of what is availble here.As for my dessert.... The much maligned jackfruit combined with other tropical fruit shines in this icecream combination with honey and subtle earthy (and so on trend) tumeric icecream and sticky rice donuts complete the dish perfectly. Very much looking forward to my return here!Neeleshwar Hermitage: "The place to ‘be"
My husband and I have just spent a week at Neeleshwar and had a VERY relaxing time. The accommodation is fab-u-lous (the bathroom being semi-outdoors with tropical planting - thank goodness for the fan as it felt much hotter out there than in our air conditioned room). We had an Ayurvedic massage each day. I could get used to having a daily massage! It was wonderful! Mr Jayan and his staff were very respectful and couldn't do enough for you. Credit must go to the designer of Neeleshwar Hermitage who has landscaped the resort impeccably, with great accommodation and exotic planting. There are lots of resident birds. Breakfast and lunch were taken at their beach cafe, and dinner in the restaurant. The food was fresh and flavoursome. We even had a traditional Keralan meal one evening which was served on a banana leaf and eaten with your hands. There is an infinity pool where you can order drinks and snacks. I loved the trip on the houseboat. If I'm ever lucky enough to return, I would like to spend a night (or two) on it.Reverie Siam Pai: "Glad we stayed here!"
It was a great place to come back to from busy Pai. Just 5 mins from Main St by free shuttle service. Fabulous room with mountain views, private terrace. Loved the garden setting and pool areas. Excellent varied breakfast is made to order. We had pre-dinner drinks each evening but didn't have dinner there as it was Spanish-Italian food. Was hoping for upscale Thai. They also have a cute shop onsite but it was usually closed with no signage. Lovely staff. Wasn't crazy about a Pai but this hotel made our stay worthwhile.NOEL RODRIGO’S LEOPARD SAFARIS: "Amazing stay in Yala"
"My girlfriend and I stayed for 2 nights in February as part of a bigger trip around this amazing Island. The stay was excellent, the boys really looked after us and ensured we had the best safari experience. We were extremely lucky enough to see leopards on 3 out of our 4 drives! We didn't spot one on our last drive but we saw a bear instead which made up for it! On top of all the wildlife the food was incredible, definately one of the big plus points! Huge thanks to Danu, Saj and Praneeth for all the knowledge and experience they contributed - it made the trip even more special. "Inle Princess Resort: "Amazing Inle Lake"
"This hotel was pretty special, we had a chalet style room with a verandah overlooking the lake with sun loungers, chairs and table. The room was excellent and the bathroom had ""his & her"" wash basins, a bath and an outside shower. There was a good restaurant, bar and swimming pool and we arrived by boat being rowed by the distinctive local leg rowing method. Wifi only obtainable in reception and restaurant/bar areas "
