Satri House: "Marvellous holidays"
"Satri House, a Prince's house with style, elegance and charm. Delightful garden. Spacious room with private terrace and garden. The fresh mandarine juice, the croissants and the jams made by the "" Satri's Mother "" are unforgettable. The service is irreproachable. Simply marvellous. Simply Lao. Philippe from belgium"Rachamankha: "Truly Fantastic Hotel"
"This was our second stay at this wonderful boutique hotel in Chiang Mai. This time we stayed for seven nights and our intention was to rest and relax in this haven in the the old part of the city. The location is fantastic. It is only a quick 15 minute drive from the airport and it is situated down a quiet side street that is an easy walk to shops, bars and restaurants and also to the night walking market. Its location means that is is quiet. If you have an interest or appreciation for great architecture then you will really love the way that this hotel has been designed. The bedrooms are large, beautifully furnished and have very comfortable beds. The lobby and outdoors areas are stunning. The pool area is wonderful. The pool is large and very clean.(..) The Rachamankha has a beautiful dining room and it is here that they serve an a la carte breakfast which is top notch. We also had a number of evening meals here and they were great too. This hotel is stunning. Great facilities, beautiful environment, fantastic location - all topped off by outstanding service which is very attentive without being intrusive. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough"4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Become one with the jungle"
"This was really good: you are picked up by a boat where the road crosses the river and then you get 30 minutes to slow-down and get into the rhythm of the jungle. Each room is a huge double tent on a floating dock, connected to each other via a walking bridge. The tents have a luxury interior: double bed, closets, TV set - although not working, but who cares? - a lot of fans (no airco) and a jungle-shower. But the most pleasant is the terrace from which you can jump in the water for a swim. Diner is at the riverside or in the tent-restaurant, with super quality food and drinks. Breakfast idem: super! From this place you must visit the waterfalls of Tatai where you can jump of a cliff, swim and get nice food, prepared by the guys on the boat, Room Tip: If you are looking for a place to get some rest, go here"The Island Lodge: "Calm, quiet and very very nice"
"This is a secret paradise with french couple Michel and Francoise being the perfect hosts. Service is extremely friendly, present and polite. Rooms are clean and very very cosy all having a great view over pool and the river. "Sea Dance Resort: "Glad to be back"

"Words cannot describe how amazing this hotel is. The service is unparalleled. Everyone is so attentive and friendly. I felt so special to each one of them. They really go above and beyond to make your stay excellent. The ""tents"" are fabulous. They are quaint, clean and quiet. The barrel tub is super cute and fun to use. There are lots of exertions you can experience or just relax. It truly is the most relaxing place I've ever experienced. Once you get over the initial shock of no internet, it was magical how much of the world you connect with. We chatted with the other guests, the staff and each other. We just sat and enjoyed the tranquility of the place. It's the most peaceful place we've ever seen. In addition, we went hiking (with Rovie guiding us), kayaking, and the waterfall trip. The fireflies are so pretty also, and after a day of all this relaxing, we had the best meals. Every plate would impress Martha Stewart and the quality is even better. It is the perfect way to end an exciting and busy trip to Cambodia. Thanks to everyone for making this the most memorable experience! Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"Tugu Lombok: "One of the best hotels I have ever been in!"
I can absolutely recommend the Tugu Hotel Lombok! The staff was extremely nice and helpful! The rooms and hotel area is very beautiful! You can book diving and snorkeling trip, have long and nice walks on the beach and they will even organize you a lovely dinner on the beach. Thank you again for everything, I will come back.Cuca: "Foodies: move over to this place"
"""It is all about the taste"" is Cuca's slogan and that is exactly what they offer. We had the chef's selection menu (9 dishes) and we loved every dish. Our favorites were the smoked butterfish and the roasted pork buns. To be honest, it was a very long time ago that I used my fingers to scrape the last bit of sauce of the plate after we finished the dish but here I just had to do it; so delicious! It's a pity that they do not offer matching wines with every dish (what we would have loved) but maybe it is better not to drink wine but just water to experience the tastes of the dishes better. We loved it."Maison Polanka: "An oasis in the city"
We felt well taken care of by the staff - every time we arrived we were greeted with cold towels and a willingness to help with any details to make our trip more enjoyable. The property is utterly an oasis in the city - tons of greenery and the pool the perfect way to cool off on a hot afternoon. Since there are not many rooms, we felt like we had the place practically to ourselves and the peaceful atmosphere was most welcome.Satri House: "Beautiful"
"When planning a visit to Luang Prabang you can get a little blown away by the accommodation on offer, there are many beautiful properties to consider all offering their own style. After much thought we plumped for here and stayed in a Satri House Suite. The original historic house in which we stayed was delightful. A lovely bathroom, huge bedroom with a very comfortable mattress and a separate sitting room area. The rest of the little complex of rooms are well set out in the grounds and not at all crowded, everything has been very tastefully done and to a ver high standard. The location is away from the main centre a little, a normal paced walk probably not more than 30mins to the far end of the town, we enjoyed walking into the centre, traffic is not a problem at all, and to be honest we appreciated the little district where the hotel is located, very pleasant streets around. We also used the complimentary bikes to have a little venture further to edges of town. A little Lao whiskey nightcap with a quick read of the local paper became a pleasant regular evening stop. Walking around town with a keen eye on the other places we considered, Villa Santi, Busari, 3 Nagas etc amongst many more we firmly decided we had made the right choice and not once did I have a regret of our choice. We did not eat a main meal here, but breakfast was more than adequate, the home jams delicious. If I had a tiny gripe it would be that the staff, which in every other way were delightful and really attentive could pay a little more attention to used towels around the pool, thats not much as the only grumble of any kind though. Beautiful place, I understand this is pretty much the main heritage hotel in the city, I am not surprised."
