Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Peaceful with commanding views"

Review by: Norman T | Source: Trip Advisor
While the drive up to the lodge is challenging, the lodge itself is an oasis of tranquility. Excellent service by the staff (Jhalak was always present to answer questions), and nothing is challenging for them. There are killer views from almost everywhere, and you can spend your time just gazing !! You can see the Annapurna and Macchapucchare ranges from the lodge, with the sunrise views being particularly awesome (we didn't mind getting up early to see it, especially since there was a pot of tea waiting :-) ). We undertook a short trek, and had a very knowledgeable guide about the flora and fauna that we encountered, as well as the region as a whole. The rooms are clean, and the food, both continental and Nepali, are great ! Marcus is an exceptional host.

Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Unique Boutique Hotel with fabulous service"

Review by: WendyEW181058 | Source: Trip Advisor
"My sister and I spent 6 nights at this fabulous hotel and I can honestly say I have never stayed at a hotel with better service. It is a training hotel for the hospitality industry and each year there is a new intake of about 48 students from all parts of Myanmar. The attention to detail is unsurpassed in each of the six stilted huts which feature local crafts and fabric with a lot of teak wood. Breakfast was served each morning overlooking the reed banks floating in the lake. Stunning views in all directions. There is a very special shrine room featuring a fabulous shrine copied from a temple nearby. My favourite feature of the hotel is the Burmese cats. The hotel has taken on a project to reintroduce the Burmese cats to Myanmar. The breed had all but died out. Guests are allowed to spend time with these precious animals getting a cuddle. We were fortunate to attend a cooking course at the hotel with the head chef. What an amazing experience that was, not cheap but worth every cent. Perhaps my only negative at this magical place was the passing boat noise which is probably to be expected if you stay on a lake and that is the only form of transport available. I would strongly recommend a few nights stay at this very unique hotel. I can't finish this review without mentioning some of the very special staff members who made our stay even more enjoyable, thanks Pann Myet, Nay Zaw, Chaw Su and Thun and so many others. Stayed December 2016, traveled with family"

Cuisine Wat Damnak: "New Year Eve treat"

We loved our meal on new years eve. Great value for 6 courses of quality food, particularly loved the Amuse Bouche. Staff were very nice and the chef visited each table. Made the evening special.

Sea Dance Resort: "Simply amazing."

Review by: jimtuitai | Source: Trip Advisor
I arrived at koh samui airport to meet family that were staying at the wonderfull sea dance resort. I was greeted by my aunt and a staff member. Ash. What a lovely guy. So freindly and warm. I was taken to the sea dance resort and from there on it was the best beginning to a holiday I could have hoped for. Poy the owner whom I met the first night made me feel like a long lost family member. I have never felt more at home and welcomed in a hotel ever. These guys just made everyone feel at ease. Other guests in my eyes were so at ease due to the way the staff were. Every one smiled at each other and were freindly to each other. Special mention to faith Helen and Danny. Fantastic people. I wish I could have stayed longer and learnt everyone's names.Heck I wish I lived there. I have to go back one day for longer. the I will miss these guys sincerely.

Reverie Siam Pai: "Small Luxury Boutique Hotel"

Review by: J P | Source: Trip Advisor
The hotel is low level and sits beautifully in the lovely landscaped grounds. We had a mountain view view room which was absolutely lovely and very peaceful. The bathrooms are stunning and the shower had amazing water pressure. The beds are huge with lovely crisp linens. The location is perfect, by the river and slightly out of town. There is a free shuttle which is excellent for when you wish to go into town. The staff were truly focused on the customer, always smiling and nothing was too much trouble. The eggs hollandaise for breakfast were stupendous. As veggies the staff were always happy to amend the menu and we had no problems there but a little more veggie choice would have been great. The cocktails, restaurant area, swimming pools and riverside pavilion were all fabulous. We stayed 5 nights and by the end we felt like regulars...totally at home. As a luxury treat on our two week motorbiking holiday this place was a real tonic and we would absolutely come back/stay here if ever in this area again.

Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Amazing safari"

Review by: Stephanie R | Source: Trip Advisor
We stayed at Noel's Safari for two nights in a family tent (2 adults and 2 kids) and had a great time. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and were absolute experts when it came to the animals and their habitat. We saw so many amazing wild animals and learned so many things about them. Back at the camp, the food was absolutely phenomenal - so delicious and an amazing array of dishes. We all had a fantastic time and would recommend this to any animal lover!!!

Dewakan: "Premium quality and services with affordable price"

Review by: azizyaris | Source: Trip Advisor
Came with partner to celebrate my birthday. Very quiet restaurant with limited space - no other diners except for us. Food taste are hit and a little misses. Was not impressed with the appetizers at first, but when the 2nd main came, it was a game changer, albeit a little over seasoned for us. Ends with very delicious desserts. Some may say, good things comes to those who waits. The restaurant manager and his partner has done a very good job explaining the dishes to us. Fully satisfied with their services. Premium quality and services with affordable price.

MesaStila: "Always Want to Come Back"

Review by: gracia c | Source: tripadvisor.com
"This is the second time we visit this property within February 2016. First time was on Feb 7th, and the second time was on Feb 28th. We were travelling to Jogja but I missed this place so much, we decided to drive to Magelang to have an afternoon coffee here. I can't even decide where to begin to share with you how marvelous this place is. The property itself is a magnificent mixture between old time Javanese architecture of Joglo Houses, which are very beautiful, and some wooden buildings from Dutch Colonial era. The Coffee and several other traditional drinks here are just the perfect company to enjoy the weather and magnificent view of mt. Merapi. You can also pamper your eyes with the lush greeneries view everywhere you look. Last but not least, the staff here are just lovely. First class hospitality. "

The River Resort: "Charming Riverside Retreat"

Review by: Gabriella L F | Source: Trip Advisor
We stayed here for two nights after doing some serious trekking and strenuous outdoor activity the previous several days. It was a perfect retreat for rest and relaxation! We took advantage of the spa and massage services, spent time on our balcony enjoying the view of the Mekong river, and ate several very tasty meals in the restaurant. The rooms are spacious and very nice, and the outdoor (hot!) shower was a real treat! I would definitely stay here again.
