Mie Cafe: "A lovely experience"

Review by: Rosemary P | Source: Trip Advisor
"We chose this restaurant for its proximity to the Beatocello concert at the children's hospital. (Saturday nights - an extraordinary event put on by Dr Beat Richner in support of the children's hospital which he founded.) The restaurant is stylishly cool and modern, with a little fish pond running alongside the outside patios (into which my fork unfortunately dived.) The food is delicious, and the chef came out to talk to the guests about his plans to develop the restaurant. a very enjoyable evening."

satrin house: "The Oasis in Luang Prabang"

Review by: Jeffrey B | Source: tripadvison.com
"This resort is very charming and colonial, tucked away from the main town area, with a very serene and quiet surrounding. The main town area is just some easy 5-8 min walk away, which gives this resort the best of both worlds - convenient yet peaceful. The service was excellent. We were personally greeted by Mr Lucky and Ms Navinda, both were very warm and hospitable. Breakfast was superb too, with very interesting choices and generous servings. Room make-up service was very prompt and frequent, and they would replace the used towels with clean ones each time they make up the room. There are 2 pools in the resort, with a lot of secret hidden corners for you to discover, and you can have the whole place to yourselves to relax. Before checkout, the hotel staff even packed the breakfast for us to eat before our flight. What a nice gesture! We would not hesitate to return and recommend this place to everyone visiting Luang Prabang. "

Jing’s Residence: "Deserved No. 1 spot on Tripadvisor"

Review by: Peter L | Source: Trip Advisor
"If you are visiting Pingyao I really can't imagine there is a better place to stay. We stayed for 2 nights. The location is excellent, just 1 minute walk from the main intersection so you're close enough to the hustle and bustle but not right in it. It was really nice being able to easily get back to the residence to freshen up and relax before heading out again (you kind of need to do that in Pingyao). Stepping through the inconspicuous wooden doors you literally step in to a little oasis that you wouldn't know is there. The staff are exceptionally attentive and well trained; There are only 10 or so suites so it's quiet, spacious and very comfortable. Of course the house and rooms were perfectly clean and we had two great nights sleep in large, clean, comfortable beds. I visited with a friend but I would love to return with my family someday. It also helps that Pingyao itself is an amazing place to visit. "

Maison Polanka: "Best hotel I’ve stayed at"

Review by: Nandita R | Source: Trip Advisor
My boyfriend and I stayed here for four days and everything - from the food to the service to the rooms - was perfect. The staff works hard to make your experience perfect. The Green Room is beautiful as are the grounds and the pool. I've stayed in several hotels in several countries and this one is by far the best I've stayed at. Every detail is impeccable. The staff also helped us coordinate our tours to the temples and packed picnic breakfasts. Shoutout to our tuk tuk driver Vong - we loved him!

Maison Polanka: "EXCEPTIONAL HAVEN IN SEAM REAP CAMBODIA"

Review by: BOSSMONDO | Source: Trip Advisor
"My reply to the owner asking me about our stay ""Nathalie, we loved your maison from the instance that we entered the gatehouse until the moment that we looked back on the beautiful gardens as we departed for the airport. There was not an instance that disappointed and please let all of your team at Maison Polanka know that we appreciate the style and competence that they provided us during our stay. Thank you Thank you."" Maison Polanka is boutique with just 5 rooms in a walled garden setting. It is not for the budget conscious traveller and it is not expensive for the value provided. Room Tip: All 5 rooms are great and the gardens are so beautiful that I would be happy to stay in my tent ther..."

MesaStila: "One of the most beautiful hotels I have every stayed at anywhere – and I do get around"

Review by: Ursa387 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Truly magnificent. Not fake luxury - not spa'd out (they do not threaten to ""awaken your sense"" nor to arouse your Kundalini - they are content to offer warm, attentive service, huge and well appointed rooms, with 11 acres of grounds with a beautifully landscaped coffee plantation to wander around) but a true haven of peace up in the hills, away from the heat. The MesaStila Resord is something exceedingly rare in the age of corporate hotels - totally authentic. It has a distinctly colonial feel to it - manicured grounds, a large pool and excellent facilities - a 19th century teak train station which was saved from the wrecker's ball and moved to the hotel grounds. A club-house with pool table and bar. A large infinity pool with a kids area. Hammam and sports center. Tennis. What more could you ask for? The staff could not possibly be more attentive or well-intentioned. They care deeply for the wellbeing of their guests, and do everything possible to make it comfortable. The rooms are huge and tranquil. We shall be back - soon!"

The Hue House: "Wonderful dinner"

Review by: Marlon O | Source: Trip Advisor
Really enjoyed our dinner here. Came here with our friends and we were all happy. The food was typical from Hue - the centre of Vietnam. The flavors were so good with authentic tastes and very tasty. Staff is friendly and attentive

Reverie Siam: "My favorite place to stay in Thailand"

Review by: Kevin G | Source: tripadvisor.com
"I have been living in Thailand and travelling round the country for over 20 years and this is my favourite place to get away. it is simply magical. When you enter the resort, you get a feeling that it is different from anything thing else you may have visited in Thailand and has a lovely homely and relaxing charm about it. The resort is designed around nature and quality where ever you look. The staff are very dedicated and friendly and the food is something I would expect to find in a 5 Star hotel in Bangkok if you are looking to get away from everything and relax or have a romantic getaway, this place ticks all the boxes."

The Cabochon Hotel: "Intimate and tranquil boutique hotel in perfect location"

Review by: Zubbert | Source: Trip Advisor
"We loved the Cabochon hotel and it's warm and friendly staff. The hotel has only eight rooms and suites in a superbly decorated French colonnial style inspired building. Wooden doors, door handles, light switches, quirky collectors items, they all are perfectly curated to add to the colonial feel. Apperently the building itself is a new structure which I only found out by realising there's no way an older wooden building would be able to carry a huge swimmingpool like the luxurious rooftoppool of the Cabocho I read another reviewer mentioning the pool as a small one. I do not know in what hotels some people might stay but the Cabochon pool is in my opinion huge! It covers the entire roof of the hotel (20-25m pool?), and is perfectly fine to do some fine swimming exercises. Another great detail which I loved is that there is no reception desk like in a regular hotel, just a tiny 'office'. From the frontdoor you step into the hallway immediately which leads to the central staircase. This also adds to the homely feel of the Cabochon. Check in is in the lounge area/Joy luck club where also breakfast is being served. You can also have your breakfast on the veranda which is great. The staff we loved. They immediately made us feel at home, spoke english well and were really helpful. Furthermore the location can't be better, at the end of a short quiet soi (alley) that leads directly to Sukhumvit Road with two skytrain stations within a five minute walk. Yes, the regular rooms are not that big but for us it just did add to the intimate feel of our stay here. It felt very special our three nights over at the Cabochon, highly recommended."
