Chakrabongse Villas: "A tranquil haven in the middle of Bangkok"
"We stayed for the last night of our Asia tour and wished we had booked for longer. The Villa is a beautiful place in lush tropical gardens on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. Diner and breakfast were superb and you really cant beat the view from the dining terrace. The staff were super friendly, making it all in all a lovely end to our trip. I hope their literary weekend was a success as they were all very excited to be hosting it and opening their doors to the general public for the 1st time."Maduzi Hotel: "Hidden oasis in a city center"
"If you appreciate quality in details - you will love Maduzi. It looks like everything is made of premium materials - furniture, decor and other elements of interior. We loved wooden floors (in contrast to carpet or tiles in other hotel rooms) - it looks and feels nice. Vanity table in the bathroom and jacuzzi and coffee machine - everything contributes to your comfort. It feels very private and personal. There is no large sign on the street and the hotel is kind of hidden. There are only about 40 rooms, so there is no crowd and it is pretty quiet and cozy. It feels more personal and it feels more like a home with a soul rather than a hotel without if that makes sense :) Breakfasts are amazing and completely different story from any other hotels breakfasts. If you do not care about swimming pool, but jacuzzi will be a nice plus for you - definitely consider this hotel. Room Tip: ask for a higher floor -"MesaStila: "Always Want to Come Back"
"This is the second time we visit this property within February 2016. First time was on Feb 7th, and the second time was on Feb 28th. We were travelling to Jogja but I missed this place so much, we decided to drive to Magelang to have an afternoon coffee here. I can't even decide where to begin to share with you how marvelous this place is. The property itself is a magnificent mixture between old time Javanese architecture of Joglo Houses, which are very beautiful, and some wooden buildings from Dutch Colonial era. The Coffee and several other traditional drinks here are just the perfect company to enjoy the weather and magnificent view of mt. Merapi. You can also pamper your eyes with the lush greeneries view everywhere you look. Last but not least, the staff here are just lovely. First class hospitality. "The Cabochon Hotel: "Romance of the past"
I found Cabochon Hotel on TripAdvisor and was pleasantly surprised. The staff and hotel are reminiscent of what luxury travel was like many, many years ago. The staff was warm and accommodating, the décor was filled with time period furniture and antiques, and our room was generously spacious. Centrally located off Sukhumvit, the hotel is a perfect balance of location contrasted with separation from the busy city of Bangkok.Hotel Tugu Lombok: "An amazing experience"
I have stayed at the Tugu Lombok a few times over the years and each time it gets better and better! This time I was there for the birthday of a dear friend and I have never been to a better party. The food and the organisation of different events, the incredible decor and my room! It was truly the best time. An incredible place to stay with a loved one and an even better place to have a party or get married. So special and authentic and wonderful !!!Mathis Retreat: "Everything An Ubud Hotel Is In Your Dreams"
"This is the hotel you imagine when you think of staying in Ubud. The view across working rice paddies is amazing as our the rooms, quiet amazing. The infinity pool across the rice paddies, the bean bags by the rice paddies and the general setting are all amazing. Staff are friendly and efficient. The hotel is too far out of town to walk (unless you want a long walk) but a van is run by the hotel every hour and they even made a special journey just for us. The breakfast is amazing, as little or as much as you want from the breakfast selection menu and whatever you have is great. Stay here, you wont regret it."Tugu Bali: "A memorable one of kind type of hotel"
From the moment you enter this peaceful beautiful hotel you know that you are somewhere very special. Artworks and sculptures abound and even a Chinese temple has been tastefully installed into one of the restaurants. This place feels more like a very large private residence and I imagine it would be a great secluded retreat for anyone trying to escape the spotlight. My brother and his wife chose to have their wedding here and WOW what an event that was! A private bar was set up out the back on the lawn with the beach and ocean nearby as the backdrop. Furniture was set up for the guests and a thick trail of marigold petals and frangipani flowers littered the lawns and marking the walkway for the bride - it was a colourful and touching tribute evoking tears in me even before the ceremony had commenced. Earlier in the day florists were hard at work making bouquets, floral arrangements and weaving flax decorations to be hung from the pergolas. On nightfall candles were even lit marking the walkways to services for the guests. Every detail had been thought of and the waiting staff were helpful, friendly and eager to serve. The Indonesian wedding feast was bountiful and delicious! We had an upstairs room and other family members had the downstairs. Although they had their own private gatehouse entrance, fish pond and private plunge pool I found our spacious room with ocean views overlooking stunning gardens and waterlily ponds - just as secluded and peaceful, to be just as lovely. I can't recommend this place highly enough, for not just the food, massages and friendly staff but for its absolute ambience. Upon leaving we were waved goodbye, given gifts, fresh fruit platers and drinking water for our journey. I couldn't help but feel sad to leave this place that had provided us with not only amazing food and comfort but the most restful holiday I think I've ever had. We loved the main pool though my only suggestion would be to consider putting proper height steps in and a handrail for easy exit from the pool for the disabled/elderly.Tugu Malang: "Hotel ini memberikan pengalaman berbeda & sangat personal. Fully recommended"
"We stayed at the Hotel Tugu Malang, with the intention unt different experience from 'modern in general. (2dewasa, 1 child. 3 Days 2 Nights) We get a room on the first floor near the swimming pool. This is the first time we stayed here and were very impressed with this hotel: 1. Architecture and Java Colonial-style interior, filled with antiques. This point may be nothing like it, some do not. 2. The service is very personal. Here, the staff greet you with your name, ma'am whom, sir whom so. Very friendly and warm. 3. Got a welcome drink and a snack. 4. In the room, above the bed are welcome Postcard addressed to Us personally, with little interest. 5. Got Fruit Basket, his mouth filled every day (not just one time when he came alone). 6. Got Compliment Massage. 7. There is a Tour Hotel. In other hotels there is no hotel tour probably because no reply is told, at the Hotel Tugu lot of story. 8. Afternoon snack market got a compliment snacks and traditional drinks in the lounge. 9. Restaurannya nice and the food is good. The price such as resto in Jakarta Mall. 10. When you check out, offered a more traditional beverages. No Welcome Drink usual hotel, here fitted with Goodbye Drink. 11. Got souvenirs Kawi Coffee brand essence, from their coffee plantations. Overall, this hotel provides a different experience and very personal. Fully recommended. "Satri House: "Wonderful hotel"
