Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Nice Place, Friendly Guide"
Aside from the unexpectedly historical building and the long tale of Cheong Fatt Tze and his family, the guide who told us the story was also amazing. Talking enthusiastically about history for almost 2 hours straight mustn't easy. On top of that, she's super friendly and willing to answer every visitors' questions.Sanak Retreat Bali: "Family vacation"
"What a wonderful stay / experience - We just love Sanak Retreat Bali. After travelling around asia for 2 months We arrived at this wonderful, beautiful and most quiet place at Bali. We had a lovely and warm greeting by the staff / No I Will not Call it staff but the Sanak Family. Due our stay they where all so kind, helpful and aware of every guest. The surroundings are breathtaking and even in rain season this is the perfect place to be for exploring and relaxing. We are looking forward to come back!"The Island Lodge: "Very recommended place"
I didn’t stay here, I only visit friend whom was staying there. This place a hidden gem, very quiet and peaceful. I really impressed when the owner also greet the their customers and visitors, the staff also very friendly. I tried their croissant, the taste just so lovely. Maybe sometime I would love to come back and stay there with friends for a night.Rachamankha: "Beautiful retreat!"
This hotel is a beautifully designed tranquil retreat situated within the old city walls of Chaing Mai. When I say beautifully designed, I mean exceptional to the extent that you can sit outside in the court yard and feel inspired by the tranquil beauty of the traditional dark wood roof, the columns and the traditional furniture designs. The only aspects which very mildly let the hotel down is the ceiling of the bathroom is white cork tiles similar to an office toilet from the 1990s. Also the shower head is about 10 years out of date, still works, it just hasn't got the the spread of any modern shower head. These are minuscule issues to point out but it's due to the rest of the hotel being so beautiful. If they did iron out these small aspects & revamp the rooms a little, then this hotel would be in line with others that cost 4 times the price. Tranquil, Beautiful & Relaxing. Escapism. A*****MesaStila: "Wonderful Relaxing Family Vacation"
"My family (wife, toddler and an infant) spent 3 days at MesaStila over the 2015 Chinese New Year. The facilities are wonderful and even with 3 nights stay we did not have enough time to enjoy all the amenities. Our 20 month old daughter loved the opportunity to run free in the grass and splash away in the shallow section of the pool. (...)The staff were very friendly and helpful with all requests. A wonderful time in a wonderful place."Reverie Siam: "Beautiful hotel!"
The hotel was stuning and the room with the stand alone bath tab (river view) was amazing! The gardens, the lobby and of course the rooms were just gorgeous and very relaxing! The only minus was the restaurant- although it had a great tasety food it was all tiny so if you are hungry it's problematic to eat there. However breakfast was nice and the staff brought us more bread, and juice when needed. The staff were also very kind, and overall I would recommand this beautiful place to friends! P.s- it is 5 min from the walking streets of Pai but the hotel runs a shuttle that will take you whenever you want until 11pm, which was great for us!4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "It is absolutely nice place to visit and stay!"
"That is really really nice place in term of pure natural views and fresh foods with low costs. The people there are so friendly and helpful. I went there so many times, including my honeymoon trip, whenever i want to kill work stress and stay in pure nature and enjoy local fresh foods. The chef there is also great. He can cook so many delicious foods and sweets especially ice-cream, my favorite sweet, with hygiene and fresh. Not only day time that i can go on many excursion places, but also at night time i can go to see amazing fire flies with romantic kayak for couple. whoooooh.... so many more! more than i can say! Room Tip: At the end of the south and north rooms are best rooms for honeymoon!"4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Beautiful location, serene back to nature"
"Tents on wooden decking sounds bizarre but it works. Beautiful location. Arrival (picked up by boat from a car park) felt a bit scary but once on the river we were swept away by the beauty of this place. Food, service, location all faultless. Tips: ignore what you read about wifi - there is none, be prepared for it and then you can just enjoy the peace. We were quite happy without wifi but the kids back home were a bit scared when we suddenly went radio silent for 4 days! Trip to the falls is further than you think but well worth it. Borrow canoes for free to paddle around the resort, up and down river. Swimming in the river - looks a bit dodgy as water looks brown but trust me it beats a swimming pool any day. No air con (well they are tents after all) so it did get a bit hot at times. 4 days is enough unless you are happy with your own company as there really isn't much to do once you've taken a canoe and visited the falls. My husband fished every day and caught nothing. The evening firefly trip (also free) is lovely. They call it their Christmas lights. Stunningly beautiful."JING’S RESIDENCE: "Great Property!"
The highlight of our trip to Pingyao was experiencing Jing's Residence. The accommodations, staff, food, and service were 5 star all the way. Mr. Hadianas, the General Manager, and his excellent staff made you feel like one of the family. It is the ONLY place to consider when staying in Pingyao. Experience authentic old world charm while luxuriating in modern conveniences and amenities. A truly wonderful property. I highly recommend it.Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Lovely, homey, cozy escape."
This is a blissful, little get-away. The staff are sincerely helpful and very hospitable. I am always pleased when a resort is built around the nature which must have existed on the land before it came to be. Thus, it was lush and naturally becoming. The rooms are very comfortable, quaint with a surprisingly good attention on the little details. I highly recommend Maison Wat Kor.Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
