Tugu Malang: "Tolle Umgebung um Ruhe zu finden"

Review by: Jürgen B | Source: Trip Advisor

SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "A great restaurant by the Inya Lake. Owner Lucia is a great host and fine dining expert."

Watch the Inya Lake sunset over drinks and fine dining later. Romantic setting with World Class Chef cuisine indoor or outdoor by the lawn & garden.

Chakrabongse Villas: "Oasis of calm in busy Bangkok"

Review by: Ruthonhertravels | Source: Trip Advisor
Surreal and beautiful place to stay, tucked away behind some unassuming gates this hidden gem of a boutique hotel lends a completely different perspective to Bangkok. Admittedly it is not for everyone, it is not large and corporate, there isn’t 24 hour room service etc. However, the staff are incredibly helpful, the rooms and grounds are breathtaking and the food is excellent, its is somewhere I would like to return to again and again.

Jing’s Residence: "Beautiful hotel in an ancient Chinese walled city"

Review by: Helen G | Source: Trip Advisor
Loved Pingyao and loved this beautiful hotel. From our gorgeous room with courtyard view to the incredibly attentive staff, our stay here was perfect. It rained a lot during our stay, but we spent a great morning making noodles in a cookery class with Henry (who was very patient), and the beef noodle soup with pickled vegetables for breakfast was one of the best dishes we had in China.

Muang La Lodge: "Luxury lodge"

Review by: Pushkin007 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Beautiful lodge with large rooms, some overlooking the river. Very luxurious - soft bed, choice of soft or hard pillows, complimentary fresh fruit in the room, his and hers sinks in the en-suite, and bathrobes and slippers. All meals are included. Dinner is a set menu using fresh, local ingredients - small portions but beautifully presented, and there are 5 courses! Drinks are relatively expensive, but there is a good choice of wine. Tea and coffee after dinner are extra and should probably be included in the price. Nice breakfast - croissants, pain-au-chocolate, fresh fruit, choice of eggs etc. The lodge will arrange a variety of excursions with a local guide, and we did a day's trek very much off the beaten track - packed lunch was provided and delicious. There is a fab infinity swimming pool on an island in the middle of the river accessed by a bamboo bridge. Also a natural hot springs with an outdoor tub filled daily. A nice touch is that the lodge has also provided a separate hot spring bath for locals to come and use, free of charge. After dark, externally, the lodge is lit by oil lamps, giving a very romantic feel. All staff, who with the exception of the General Manager, are all locals, are extremely helpful and courteous, and we were made to feel very welcome. An excellent experience. "

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Back to Nature"

Review by: Bijugoa | Source: Trip Advisor
I have stayed there with my family for one night. It was wonderful experience. The food taste is excellent. The guest service are the ultimate. All the staff especially the reception counter, Ayurveda Spa are always with a bright smile. I have stayed many type of hotels in all over the world, but Neeleshwar Hermitage is a different experience. I strongly recommend this property to all my friends and readers of this review. Its awesome .

David’s Kitchen: "Excellent food, reasonable prices"

Review by: programmer437 | Source: Trip Advisor
"I went on a date here with my (now) fiancee. I have to applaud David's kitchen for its flexibility in food and service - the clientele is a mix of thai nationals, Americans, Australians, Europeans, etc - yet the wait staff seem to be experts at responding to every inquiry. I had a food allergy (can't eat oats), and the wait staff was fast to swap out the bread for us. My fiancee was not a fan of her first soup order, and the staff exchanged it at no cost for another soup, which she liked much more. The actual food I would place at slightly above average. I ordered the strip steak. I can say I've had better steaks in America or Japan, but they were also more expensive. One dish doesn't make a restaurant, though - everything else was five stars: The truffle sauce was perfect. The appetizers were perfect. The chocolate lava cake was absolutely amazing. The cocktails were flawless. A mix of Thai friendliness and western elegance, this is a must for any traveler in Chiang Mai."

Maduzi Hotel: "Amazing Room"

Review by: Cheryl L | Source: Trip Advisor
Maduzi is accessible, 5 minutes walk from asoke. The room is super spacious and bed was so comfortable. We had such a great rest every night. Panpuri products provided for bath was fantastic too. Gym facilities was good too.

Supanniga Eating Room: "Wonderful, informal and authentic Thai restaurant"

Review by: Eyekaytoo | Source: Trip Advisor
"Our business group descended on this lovely little Thai restaurant and made our way to our table on the second floor. Once again I preferred to leave the ordering of the food to my hosts whilst I got down to the drinking - a small but tasty chilled vodka martini. This place is apparently famous for crab dishes and I can certainly vouch for the Gaeng Crab Meat Bai Cha Plu - Surat Thani's colossal crab meat lumps and crab roe in spicy red curry with cha plu leaves. I also enjoyed dishes such as Mieng Yong - dried shreaded pork, peanuts, and sweet roasted coconut wrapped in cha plu leaves, Pu Jah - blended crab meat and pork, seasoned and steamed inside crab shells and Choo Chi Pla Nue Aon - chunky Nue Aon fish meat, deep-fried and dry-sautéed with Thai sweet & spicy curry. For dessert I couldn't resist the sweet, juicy mango and sticky rice. Delicious! Service was incredibly discreet. I hardly noticed it as the staff brought us new delicacies to try. This was a truly lovely experience. You need to try it out!"
