THE ISLAND LODGE: "Great place to stay"
"I'm currently living in My Tho city and this is my first time my boyfriend visiting me in My Tho. I have worked for Thoi Son island for 3 months but didn't know they have this kind of great resort hotel on this island. We stayed here for two nights and had dinner for the first night. Tastes awesome and the staff who served the dishes was really friendly. We also tried spa and it was awesome too. We really relaxed and felt great. Next time my bf comes over My Tho city, we will stay here again for sure. "Hotel Tugu Bali: "Met all my expectations."
We stayed at the Tugu for one night (two were planned but the volcano didn't allow us to fly into Denpasar) and we wished we could have stayed longer. After our adventures(broken leg, volcano eruptions, etc..) the Tugu was the perfect place to relax and just enjoy. We booked the Tugu so our son could get some surfing in. I have a tendency to read some of the negative reviews before booking a hotel, and I have to say in my opinion they were completely wrong. I really enjoyed the authentic decor of the hotel and the calmness of the fishponds and the outdoor bathrooms. Jenny, the manager was lovely and very helpful. If you like Canggu, I think this is the place to stay.Samanea Beach Resort: "Perfect tranquility"
"We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful, peaceful resort. It is perfect relaxation. The room was huge and perfectly secluded in the lush tropical grounds with plants strategically placed to ensure maximum privacy. The bed was super comfortable, there was TV, mini bar, tea + coffee and lovely open air (but very private) bathroom. Well serviced daily with clean towels etc. The swimming pool was beautiful and not crowded, really quiet and relaxing in a natural setting. Pool towels are provided every day, you just pick them up from a basket by the side of the pool. There is also a large carp pond next to the pool, the carp put a real show at times leaping about. Quite entertaining if you get bored of watching the amazing sunsets. The food was excellent with a good choice of both local and Western, although you may find the menu a bit limited if you are there for a long stay. The Kampot Pepper ice cream is delicious! Breakfast is a la carte, there was no problem or extra charge for ordering more than one dish. All the staff were wonderful, really helpful and friendly. If you want to sit up late drinking and partying, or need to have nightly entertainment laid on, this is not the place for you. It is a beautiful, relaxing resort for a total de-stress. The peaceful town of Kep (which has a beautiful sandy beach perfectfor swimming) is just a short trip away via tuk tuk, which the hotel will book for you."Nimmu House: "Hidden Gem in Ladakh"
"We booked to stay at Nimmu House at the beginning of our holiday in Ladakh. We spent three days acclimatising here before we went off on a 6 day trek through the Markha Valley and then returned for one night before heading off to another destination in the region. Nimmu and the surrounding area is absolutely stunning and it was wonderful to be away from the hustle and bustle of Leh. We were able to relax in the beautiful and very peaceful gardens of Nimmu House and the accommodation itself was just lovely - we were staying in the tents which were situated in the apricot and apple orchard. The tents were very well equipped with lovely comfortable beds and linen, beautiful interiors and fabulous bathrooms. The attention to detail was fantastic. The hospitality of the Nimmu staff was never ending and the food was out of this world! We were very sad to leave this absolute gem and can't wait to return next year! Thank you to everyone on the Nimmu team who made our stay such a warm and welcome one."Maison Polanka: "On point design boutique"
Charming boutique hotel with fantastic design and grounds. Well located and helpful staff. The restaurant itself was a bit mediocre, but the setting was so special that it didn't matter. The spa was also quite enjoyable. Given the price compared to some of the other design hotels in the area, I would definitely choose Maison Polanka again. The Village House: "Perfect hideaway with great food!"
Wanted to stay there for two nights only, but after the first night we immediately booked three more nights. So lovely, so great. Really recommended if you are looking for a quiet and relaxed place. Not the cheapest, but well worth the money! VERY friendly staff and excellent food (dinner must be ordered in the afternoon). Nice pool as well and free bikes to explore the neighborhood. Would and will stay there again, if I have the chance to.Cuca: "Amazing culinary experience"
For me this is like michelin restaurant. The chef is smart to combine the material. The food taste is amazing, the presentation is rising your appetite and also the plate/bowl is nice. Perfect place to have kind a michelin food at affordable priceTugu Malang: "Incontournable"
"L'hôtel, fait office de musée avec une collection de différents objets plus ou moins anciens de différents horizons (principlement d'Asie). Le prix de l'entrée est à 95000 roupies et compte pour une consommation (liquide ou repas). Le personnel parle bien anglais"Muang La Lodge: "2 jours formidables"
2 evenings spent in Muang La resort with my husband and our 3 children. Comfortable bedrooms, the hotel is a haven of peace ... months would have stayed longer. After several days of visiting nois recommend to stay 1 day 1/2 day quietly at the hotel to enjoy their facilities. In February pool a little cold but that's normal! No mosquitoes! Hot baths are absolutely idyllic! And meals are delicious and highly sought ...The Island Lodge: "Wonderful Mekong holiday"
Wonderful Mekong escape just two hours from Saigon. A totally different world watching the boats go by, bicycling on Unicorn island on our own or in nearby Ben Tre province through cacao and coconut farms, a short boat ride away, arranged through the hotel. Michel and Francoise are delightful hosts, as was the manager, Emi. Resort is somewhat pricey for Vietnam standards, but worth it. Rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and either have river views or are garden bungalows, both with terraces. Pool and jacuzzi are nice and food is delicious. At least the duck, beef carpaccio, seafood soup, gazpacho... All the breads and pastries are homemade. Wine prices are reasonable by the glass or bottle, and corkage fee if bring own is 200,000.
