Tugu Lombok: "Too good… Tugu!"
We are travellers who enjoy the splurge when it's worth it but never like to return to locations we have previously visited (the world is just too big). Tugu is one of those places we would love to visit again though, if only for its uniqueness. One of the first things you'll hear on your intro is that Tugu is not for everyone and this is the kind of thing that makes me happy on holidays. Who wants to spend money to get holidays that are "for everyone"? In Tugu you will be taken care of individually. We stayed 4 nights at Dadap Merah on the Retreat package and definitely recommend the package to all. The room is unique and -frankly- perfect. We loved the rustic quirkiness of the resort and the kindness of all staff. Terima kasih and you again!Mie Cafe: "Delicious and Delightful"
We had lunch at this restaurant between temple visits in Angkor Wat . It afforded excellent and friendly service, delicious food and an extensive menu in an air-conditioned, inviting restaurant. Go for the delicious Food!!Tugu Lombok: "Rainy paradise"
Great food and friendly staff with really lovely pools. We went in the rainy season but still had a great time!! Waterfall was great but good to take some dry clothes to wear back as you will get wet! Can also recommend the cooking classMaison Polanka: "A HAVEN OF PEACE AND COMFORT"
"I wish we could claim responsibility for finding this hotel on line and booking it ourselves. But it was all done for us, and from the moment we stepped inside the sanctuary of its garden we were pampered, spoilt and generally looked after in a way which we often dream of but rarely experience. This really is one of a kind, with setting, accommodation, staff, food and service to match. If you can get a room - and there are only five - then this is a must-stay hotel. My only regret is that we are unlikely to return to Cambodia, but have been left with lasting memories. Room Tip: Any room you can book will be fantastic"Tugu Malang: "An absolutely marvellous hotel"
Stayed here 2 nights and wanted to move in! The hotel has a wonderful collection of artefacts and antiques. Could spend hours just looking at them. The staff were absolutely fantastic and couldn't do enough for us. The room was beautiful and spacious with a lovely bathroom. The pool area is exceptional surrounded by greenery. There is even a wonderful boutique with fantastic service. Food and presentation was wonderful. If I have to make any adverse comment (and it's very minor) is that I had a pot of tea first morning (very welcome as being British I drink a lot of tea) but only cups on second morning.Tugu Malang: "レビュー通りの素敵なホテル"
Location of the center of the extent of Malang of about 40 minutes by car from the airport. The Malang city is another world of the hotel. After all, also supports easy staff is friendly ◎. There is also a tour of the hotel, Indonesia culture and founder? You can see such expensive furniture. The atmosphere in the hotel is the first hotel that wanted to once again go to stay at the highest.Tugu Malang: "I didn’t stay here but had 1 lunch, 1 dinner, and the hotel tour with Ibu Poppy"
"If there's one regret I had in my Malang trip is NOT booking this hotel. It is Super amazing. You see, I've travelled in Indonesia extensively for work and play and one of my woes is the lack of seamless service beyond Bali. Well, Hotel Tugu Malang meets superb global standards and more. The minute I stepped in (flabbergasted from the icky Rumah Makn Inggil) I was warmly welcomed by Ibu Poppy. Even if I wasn't staying she warmly invited me in to the lunch area. I took photos around the beautiful hotel and she volunteered to give me a tour of the hotel and tea after! Everyone speaks impeccable English. Food arrives fast. Yes this is a big deal in Indonesia!!!! If you have been here Long enough you'll understand my delight. Thank you so much for everyone's warm hospitality, the reasonably priced yummy meals, the free tour and tea. Malang is not easy to get to from where I live, but if I go back to Malang - it's Tugu Malang or nothing!"Manda De Laos: "special spot in special town"
Favorite of many good ones in Luang Prabang. Built around a UNESCO protected fish pond, with wood decking and a lounge area. Beautifully lit at night. Sensational Laos food with French touch. Lovely French hostess. We recommended to two sets of people we met, all of whom enjoyed it as much as we did.Mie Cafe: "Fantastic fusion"
"My wife and I had dinner and we were there in the early evening so had no trouble getting a table. This restaurant serves Khmer fusion which took us by surprise in that the dishes were visually stunning and amazing to eat - flavoursome with texture things going on, just brilliant. Not to be missed."Sukoon Houseboat: "Perfect choice for Dal Lake"
We planned to spend 4 nights on a houseboat on Lake Dal and spent much time reading TA reviews and reviews from other sites. We selected the Sukoon based on these reviews and the new construction as we feared older boats may have a musty and damp smell. After looking at so many other boats during our 5 days on Lake Dal we are sure we made the correct decision. The service was professional, the rooms as described -- new. clean and well appointed. The food was good and the meal service superb. Customer service was a high point. A real plus for the Sukoon was the location at the far end of the lake away from almost all houseboats. This is important as most boats are located in a chock-a-block fashion with little if any privacy. They arranged our tours and other needs. We would definitely choose the Sukoon when we return and return we will as Srinagar is a fabulous destination that deserves more the 5 days. Our only regret was not having arranged airport pick up ahead of time. The airport arrival area is chaotic to say the least due to security procedures and most taxi drivers had no idea where the Sukoon was located --- there are well over 500 houseboats on the lake so this would be expected.
