Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Great place to stay"
"The staff are first class and look after you very well the bedroom are great and large inside with all you needed Great pool bar and library for us to use Can do early morning walk with a guide to show you around lovely views good food and first class staff well done to all"Maduzi Hotel: "Refreshed, rejuvenated, renewed"
"Was supposed to stay in another hotel w friend but through a last min change of plans, I made an impromptu booking for Maduzi as it fits my criteria of budget, proximity and also safety. The best things abt Maduzi: 1. Flexible check in timing allowed me so much more time to explore the city upon arrival. I'm impressed that at 7am, my room was ready and boy, the next point is the surprise I received. 2. Huge rooms are apparently something which Maduzi rewards her guests with as I had such a huge disappointment w another hotel the night before. Below are some photos to justify my claims. No kidding. Not only does the hotel set up instruction manuals for the various hotel amenities in the most interesting way through the form of comic strips, the management is set to impress and pamper the guest w: a. A huge walk in wardrobe B. A personal jacuzzi tub C. An impressive powder room beside the wash area D. Thoughtful mini bar in room refreshed on a daily basis E. A huge (I mean humongous!) deluxe bed that swallows you up F. Boss sound system. No kidding ok! G. Your personal coffee making machine in the room.... *hey management, you are just so into spoiling your guests are u?? I'm soooo loving it! 3. Location wise, how could the management have understood a girl's heart so well???? Besides being right opposite TERMINAL 21 (and that means you are near BOTH BTS AND MRT), Maduzi is also very well situated near the sukhumvit area. The strategic tie in w Oasis spa which provided 2 way transportation certainly made a girl's day shine brighter than a diamond. 4. Breakfast options are far from the same old same old boring buffet spread. Call me a bore, i was really expecting the normal fare such as toast, cereals, porridge blahx3. Imagine my surprise when a full selection of different cuisines presented as a full meal was offered. Not wanting to disappoint the usual crowd expecting a buffet spread, Maduzi offers a petite line of fresh fruits, yoghurt, mini croissants, cheese and salami platter tucked in a corner elegantly waiting for guests to help themselves in a delicate manner. What is this you call? Superb fine dining to help kickstart your day without the unnecessary extravagance. 5. As a solo travelled, safety is my top priority and while many other accommodation choices were presented which could be more convenient eg, on top of shopping malls et al, a girl just needs a safe haven for a personal quiet retreat yah? Enters Maduzi whose outlook appears to be a normal apartment along the road but is securely gated to ensure guests privacy and security at all times. I like it that the gates are well maintained by the diligent guards and it's not a flashy entrance for the guests but more reflective of a place which embraces personal retreat. The already-superb but can be better areas which I hope Maduzi can improve on is as follows: 1. May I have a swimming pool pls? It's impt that one can chill both body and mind at the same time and it's a pity I can't swim in such a nice place to enjoy the view and clear my head. 2. Blame it on myself for gg back late (~9pm) on a Saturday night. The road outside Maduzi may be a tad quiet and there was a guy behind me who splashed water on me as a prank. Thkfully it was a short walk and I was able to reach the hotel v quickly. May I suggest that a tuk tuk svc or pick up svc be made available for lady guests as a value added svc? The ladies will truly appreciate the kind thoughts of having their interests at heart. Last but not least, I just want to shout out in desperation, 'Why aren't there enough time for me to retreat in my room despite the late check out at 8pm?' My sincere thanks to the hotel management once again for allowing me to have this little enclave to chill, relax and refresh my mind. I truly wish I had more time to spend in the hotel just to enjoy its facilities which I didn't have time to explore eg the TV room, my welcome drink which I didn't cater enough time to claim and oh yes, time for another unwind session in the jacuzzi. Till the next time we meet again, you shall always be the best destination in BKK and I'm sure to come back again for more."Muang La Lodge: "coup de coeur"
"Muang The Lodge was our favorite heart during our trip to Laos in February 2017. Wonderful scenery, spacious bedroom and bathroom, excellent meals and presented with taste and full of small, delicate and touching attentions; original hot baths and very nice .... in short, no complaints. The cost is equal to the benefits offered. "Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Priceless!"
We were at the Golden Buddha Beach in January and we loved every minute of our stay! A big thank you to Valerie and to all the friendly staff who made our stay unforgettable. Now back to winter I wish I was still there. AmosREVERIE SIAM: "Simply the best"
My wife and I drove to pai which was fun and stayed at the reverie for one night and enjoyed it so much we kept extending until we had no choice and had to come home and stayed 4 nights in total. Best hotel I've ever stayed in and can't really find a single negative. Great value and if you waNimmu House: "Absolutely wonderful"
Nimmu House is a boutique hotel 45 minutes from Leh. It's a wonderful place to stay: the charm of the old house, the fruit trees garden, the personalised service... The rooms are clean and beautifully renovated, as well as the rest of the house. The food is excellent and for all tastes. And the aperitif around the bonfire is a must!Talabgaon Castle: "Kind and welcoming! Delicious meals"
"We absolutely loved our stay in The Talabgaon Castle. And we are thankful for the hospitality of all of the caretakers of this beautiful property. Very reasonable prices and a fabulous room! We chose to do a jeep safari and guided tour of this Rajasthani village and found it to be full of beautiful and kind people, who are friendly and generous, invited us for masala chai. Palak Paneer here is incomparable. All of our meals were delicious and made fresh with home grown vegetables and fresh milk. This was our first time visiting India and our stay at the Talabgoan Castle was one of the highlights of our trip! We felt very welcome and were sad to be leaving. This was a great place for us to rest between the crowded streets of Jaipur and bright and noisy Agra. Stayed January 2017, traveled with friends"Sanak Retreat Bali: "Amazing Sanak Retreat!"
"Amazing stay at Sanak Retreat! We loved every minute! The Retreat is beautiful, the villas very comfortable, the decoration is outstanding and it looks like ""time stand still""! The service, the food and the attention to all our needs were fantastic! The Spa was amazing and the 3 hours walking tour was very nice and an educative activity. We leave in Bali and it was a great getaway with the family. Hardly recommend for a few days relaxation. Thank you Sanak Team! We will be back! Stayed March 2017, traveled with family"Chakrabongse Villas: "A small hotel in beautiful gardens on the river"
"I stayed in the river view villa for 3 nights during my Bangkok visit. The villa had everything I needed, it was a generous size with a separate lounge & study area, all beautifully appointed. The view of the busy Chao Phraya river with the passing barges, plentiful boats and ferries was a delight to watch. The famous Temple of the Dawn 1- Wat Arun is just opposite. The Villas lush gardens, water features and pool area were stunning. So calming after the hustle and bustle of the city. It is in a great location to explore the old city comprising the Grand Palace and Wat Po. The flower market is also walking distance as is Chinatown (a bit further). If shopping is more your style then it is only a few minutes walk to Pak Klong Talad Pier to catch a ferry to Central Pier where you can catch the BTS skytrain. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The managers (Atom in particular) were wonderful and arranged my airport transfers, made site seeing suggestions & eating recommendations."Villa Song Saigon: "The very best Hotel in Vietnam if not SE Asia"
"As my review title says this is hands down the best hotel I've ever stayed at, Ive travelled the world and been luckily enough to stay at some amazing places but this place is just something else. Room: I booked this hotel for 2 nights to finish off my mini tour of Vietnam and my only complaint was I didn't book it for longer. We had the sanctuary river room which was stunning this room also had a small balcony however not all rooms do so its worth double checking, I didn't realise this and the hotel allocated the balcony room to us via email which is a fantastic touch. The room itself was large spacious and bright with modern touches but keeping its french colonial style and i don't think I've ever slept in a more comfortable or bigger bed! It must be about 10 foot long. Service: Absolutely out of this world. From the moment you arrive to check out all staff are helpful friendly and literally can't do enough to ensure your stay is a memorable one. On our last day we didn't fly till midnight so had asked if possible could we have a late check out, unfortunately for us the hotel was fully booked but we were assured that we could shower and use all facilities until we were ready to leave. 5 minutes after being told this Yega the GM called our room and offered us another room to use until 6PM as they didn't have anyone arriving to that room until 7.30PM that night. This was an amazing helpful gesture and made our last day much more comfortable the hotel only has 23 rooms all designed differently so i can see sometimes when full how it can be a logistical nightmare to accommodate such requests as ours but they were met without any problems and no extra charge. We only eat here once for dinner and the food was out of this world Kevin the head chef is always around mingling with guests telling you about his food and wines, He's a very talented knowledgeable man who really is at the top of his game in his role, He took time to tell me how they prepared and cooked the pork i had as well as asked us which strength cheeses and flavours we liked for the cheese board after dinner. Al A Carte Breakfast was amazing the both times we had it a wide range of western, healthy and asian cuisine to choose from. The eggs Benedict are a must all served with fresh fruits and juices and coffee. You can have this from 6AM till 10PM these are the little touches that set this hotel apart from anywhere else. Lastly make sure you make use of the hotels free speedboat to district 1. Miss all the madness of the traffic and speed up the saigon river taking in the views. There was only me and my partner on the boat and the captain took some amazing pics of us with the HCM skyline in the background he was great and it was a memorable experience. Villa Song Saigon i will be back!"
