Kenanga Hotel: "Peaceful, relaxing stay"
"The Kenanga is good value for money. Awesome setting overlooking paddy fields, with a resident duck community, beautiful gardens and a great pool area. I ended up staying for an extra night because the place has such a nice, calm, relaxed feel to it. Breakfast is exceptionally good, and the staff are very eager to help/please. Wifi is good (by Bali standards at least). You can borrow bicycles, and there are some pretty cool places nearby to cycle to. There's a shuttle bus to and from town, the centre of which is 3.5km away. It's actually pretty pleasant to walk into town, as it's mostly downhill, but probably a tad too far for most. The last shuttle back to the hotel is rather early at 5.15pm. I planned to eat in the restaurant maybe once and to eat in town the rest of the time, but the food was of such high quality that I ended up eating there each night."Amata Lanna: "an oasis in the rush of Changmai"
If you believe that small is beautiful then you will love this niche hotel. Just twelve large rooms based on the old Northern Lana style - that is teak buildings and platforms around a central pool. The staff are charming and attentive. A place to chill and relax after a busy dayThe Village House: "Love The Village House!"
"We have been to the Village House a few times. We keep going back because it is the perfect place to take in the Sarawak vibe. Beautiful rooms, great food (must try the Taste of Borneo tasting menu), but most of all a great group of people that run the place. We always feel at home and amongst friends while we are there. They can help you plan a day trip or a major excursion up the river to a long house. All in all, The Village House is a 10 out of 10. "Sanak Retreat Bali: "Getting better and better"
I stayed at Sanak a couple years ago and always wanted to go back. I finally did and had an even better time than I did the 1st time. Sebastian and his team really have the term 'hospitality' at heart, attending to your every need. Now the property has a spa too so it adds to the sense of relaxation. But if you want to stay active, many excursions are possible, always with local people that know the area very well. I recommend to stay at least 2 nights to fully take in all that Munduk and Sanak have to offer. I look forward to coming back! The Hue House: "Best traditional restaurant"
This is one of the best restaurant for our whole trip in Vietnam. Decoration is very nice - in a French Villa with traditional design. Food is so good with many dishes from North to South. Very fresh ingredients to make the dish is even more delicious. Staff is very professional with big smile all the time. Very enjoyable dinner.Amata Lanna: "A hidden gem"
"My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Amata Lanna whilst touring through Thailand. This is a lovely, small, boutique hotel consisitng of 12 rooms. The style and build is traditional Thai design combined with modern amenities. Our room was only10 metres from the courtyard swimming pool! The hotel is located in a quiet position away from the hustle and bustle but perfect for exploring Chiang Mai with restaurants, the water boats and the Night Market only a short walk away. However, the outstanding attribute is the personal and excellent service, care and attention provided by the staff, especially Yumi the Manager. They made us feel as if we were staying with family from the start to the end."REVERIE SIAM: "Simply the best"
My wife and I drove to pai which was fun and stayed at the reverie for one night and enjoyed it so much we kept extending until we had no choice and had to come home and stayed 4 nights in total. Best hotel I've ever stayed in and can't really find a single negative. Great value and if you waNimmu House: "Havre de paix"
"Rachamankha Hotel is the best place that I ever had to hold a party of 50 people. The staff were very efficient and friendly. They picked up all my guests from the airport and checked them in to their rooms speedily with no hazels. Rooms are extremely neat, tidy and clean. Everyone said the same thing ""bed was so comfortable and I had an extremely good sleep"". The entire hotel was beautifully decorated with flowers and a collection of beautiful ceramics which are displayed in a well-lit cabinet. The lobby courtyard and the restaurant courtyard provided extra space for pre-dinner drinks and after dinner party. Food was extremely good. The hotel had also arranged the best in town live band and photographer for us. In the morning, the hotel had also installed a big bed of flowers next to the dinning room. Everyone was refreshed and pleased. All of us had a wonderful weekend. I sincerely thank Paul (the manager) for his second to no one organization skills in making my party so successful. Rachamankha, you are unbeatable! "4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Peace"
"The whole thing is very well done and works. I must say that we spent 4 nights and it was very relaxing. In bed by 9.30pm and up at rhe crack of 8.30am, well I do like to relax. The food was simple and very tasty and well prepared, also more of any item if required. The waterfall boat trip was wonderful, the crew kept apologizing for the lack of water, but the falls were running and it was just right for swimming. My only complaint is that the swimming steps from the river are just round bars and these are painful on the feet when getting out. A great place for a few days to recharge you battery and sole. Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"
