Rachamankha: "Beautiful Rachamankha"
"My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Rachamankha during Christmas and New Year 2013, and we were thrilled to be able to return again in November 2016. We have so many wonderful memories of the hotel from our first trip and these were definitely added to on this visit. Something about Rachamankha speaks to me - it is elegant, unpretentious, immaculate, welcoming and just so beautiful. Absolutely gorgeous. The gardens and grounds are immaculately maintained, the pool area is lovely, the restaurant, bar, library and courtyards are elegant and simple, and the rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean and have everything you need. The attention to detail is wonderful. Breakfast options include a buffet with the usual suspects of breads, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, cheese, cold meats, etc., as well as many items from the menu, cooked to order. My favourite is still the banana pancakes and hubby loves the congee. Lunch and dinner options are great too, if you feel like staying in. And there is a great drinks menu with lots of cocktails, wines and other goodies. Rachamankha isn't for everyone. If you are holidaying with small kids, or you're looking for a party, then there are plenty of other wonderful options for you in Chiang Mai. But, if you're like us, and you're looking for simple elegance with comfortable surroundings, and a quiet relaxing holiday, then Rachamankha is definitely what you're looking for. In closing, I must give thanks to the staff. They were lovely, helpful and kind. The service was efficient, prompt and polite, and the staff really do take a huge amount of pride in their work. Every single team member from the security guards at the gate, the gardeners, the restaurant staff, the front office team and housekeeping are just wonderful! Again my thanks to Wanida, who is a true gem. We can't wait to return! :)"Mathis Retreat: "Best place in Ubud"
"My wife and I stayed at the Kenanga for our honeymoon in Ubud. The place has a unique charm, and is very relaxing. The rice fields in front of the infinity pool and the restaurant are breath taking. The staff is so friendly and always smiling. They made sure that we were satisfied From the moment we arrived until we left. We would highly recommend this place to anyone going to Ubud. "Satri House: "Absolute oasis of calm and tranquility"
After the hustle of Hanoi we flew into Luang Prabang and spent 3 nights at the Satri House Hotel, it was superb. In easy walking distance from the town centre, fantastic beautifully furnished room and lovely grounds with charming pool. The staff were also first class --- I can't think of a single criticism. We have travelled in Indochina before and use trip advisor regularly but this is the first time I have ben moved to write a review ---it was excellent.Les Maisons Wat Ko: "Romantic place"
Book at Battambang Resort, Battambang. No Reservation Costs. Great Rates. Great Availability · Special Offers. Comfortable stay, away from the town, but good for exploring the countryside. Very good food at the restaurant.Tugu Bali: "Boutique hotel with fine food"
"We dined at the Hotel Tugu twice within one week while we were staying at a nearby villa with friends. The first meal was lunch on Valentines Day which also coincided with our friend's anniversary. The hotel is stunning, with many historic artifacts scattered throughout the public areas of the hotel. Cocktails in the bar before lunch were delicious, I particularly enjoyed the Tugu Gin Tea! We were seated in a private dining room for four (just off the main seating area) overlooking the pool and gardens. We all enjoyed a delicious lunch of Indonesian and other Asian dishes which were fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. Desserts were also spectacular, in particular Black sticky rice pudding with Mango. A complimentary dessert was presented to our friends to celebrate their anniversary, a lovely touch. We were all so impressed we rebooked for dinner later in the week! Before dinner we had cocktails again but this time on the rooftop of of the hotel while overlooking the beach and a spectacular sunset and then again dined in the small private dining room. We preordered Babi Guling, the Indonesian roast pork specialty which was plated beautifully and was absolutely mouth watering. We indulged in an Italian Pino Griggo which was good value for money and a terrific wine. Special mention must be made of the incredible staff at Hotel Tugu, friendly, knowledgeable - just delightful really! We also requested to inspect the rooms at the hotel and were shown two different types of rooms, both very Balinese and very well appointed. We would love to return to the Hotel Tugu to experience staying at this boutique hotel and also to feast upon the fine food available there. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"Locavore: "A dinner like a performance"
"It's hard to describe the menu and all it's different structures and tastes but see it is an evening out at a theater....the table looked simple and almost empty at start but soon a symphony emerges and takes you off to different and wonderful places, until a final apotheose of different kinds of sweetness ....and then the table is empty again. So far the poetry description... All of the dishes are ""urgent"" and none are ""fillers"" but of course we had our favorites. From the all very different amuses the tomato dish was sublime in its purity and the sweet, sour and salty perfect in balance. The catfish also combined great flavors and structures. The tongue with carrot and harmonious cocktail pairing was a great finish of the savory dishes, were after the sweet dishes gentle and a feast for the eye. Go for the 7 courses with cocktail pairing, most pairings are great, all cocktails are delicious but some a bit overpowering , so be careful, some you drink better AFTER you had the dish. This will be most likely a meal you never forget...a big thx to the whole team"Rachamankha: "The Hidden Treasure of Chiang Mai, Thailand"
Everything about Rachamankha is excellent from the Front desk staff and most especially the General Manager who made sure I have the most comfortable experience during my stay. Its definitely my preferred Hotel to stay in Chiang Mai.Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Un grand merci"
"Séjour incroyable ! Tous était parfait. Chambre magnifique, excellent restaurant et super environnement. J'y serai bien resté encore quelques jours. Encore merci aux personnels fantastiques. Merci, merci !! Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"LES MAISONS D’ITAC: "A small but fantastic resort"
"We spent a long weekend in the bamboo house at this small but beautiful resort. Great experience. You are sleeping 3 meters from the beach! You hear the waves and all kinds of sounds in the night, very relaxing. The atmosphere at the place is great. It is sort of at the end of the road, so there is no restaurants or things to do within walking distance. But the staff and the manager Bryan are very serviceminded and will help you with anything you want to do or go to. We recommend you to eat all meals at the resort and then there's no need to go anywhere else. Just stay at the resort and enjoy it. We would love to come back some day! "Maduzi Hotel: "great hotel"
Nice location and the room is nice big and clean, especially the bed is really huge. The staff are so friendly and we had a good experience in the hotel, and also good location which is nearby the MRT and BTS .
