Le Du Wine Bar & Restaurant: "The mixture of thai and high end western"

Review by: Louis_vu | Source: Trip Advisor
Came here second time. The food was still great. In here you would expect the food with the size and the food decoration of a michelin star restaurant but still taste like thai food. Something fusion but not at all. The menu was very simple but it will never disappoint you. Every dishes is tasty. However the dessert was just normal.

The Island Lodge: "Wonderful Mekong holiday"

Review by: Mariette0121 | Source: Trip Advisor
Wonderful Mekong escape just two hours from Saigon. A totally different world watching the boats go by, bicycling on Unicorn island on our own or in nearby Ben Tre province through cacao and coconut farms, a short boat ride away, arranged through the hotel. Michel and Francoise are delightful hosts, as was the manager, Emi. Resort is somewhat pricey for Vietnam standards, but worth it. Rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and either have river views or are garden bungalows, both with terraces. Pool and jacuzzi are nice and food is delicious. At least the duck, beef carpaccio, seafood soup, gazpacho... All the breads and pastries are homemade. Wine prices are reasonable by the glass or bottle, and corkage fee if bring own is 200,000.

Rachamankha: "A Quiet Oasis in a Bustling Town"

Review by: RayWilts | Source: Trip Advisor
This was a quiet oasis in a bustling town but still well positioned to see everything Chiang Mai has to offer. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and our room and bathroom was spotless and the bed very comfortable. We enjoyed excellent service from a very friendly and polite staff. The breakfast buffet is very good and they make a neat gin and tonic in the bar. The hotel laundry service was very efficient and cheap compared to hotels elsewhere in the world. If we visited Chiang Mai again we would definitely stay here again

Villa Mathis: "Le paradis"

Review by: Lilibelule | Source: Trip Advisor
"Un cadre exceptionnel, un accueil parfait, un calme olympien, un décor merveilleux...tout est parfait. Nous n'aurez plus envie de sortir de l'établissement. Le restaurant est génial. Idéal pour vous faire chouchouter en amoureux."

Inle Princess Resort: "Best place to stay in Inle Lake"

Review by: Travel_Juerg | Source: Trip Advisor
We enjoyed staying at this resort as it was both quiet and remote yet close to busy lake and its wonderful sights. The locally recruited staff is great and makes you feel truly welcome. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel given the location and enjoyed our food every time.

The Island Lodge: "Chill out space extraordinaire"

Review by: Bretlyn | Source: Trip Advisor
You know that feeling of leaving a perfect place and grieving for that experience? Well, that is how we feel right now. The Island Lodge provided us with much needed healing and relaxation from the stresses of our work, health issues and our lives in the 'rat race'. The world is becoming a harder place but The Island Lodge provides a respite from all of that. Thank goodness for such a place. We spent most of our time outside or on our balcony watching the river life - a busy artery of interest and diversity. The breakfast was personalised - no buffet. Beautiful basket full of breads, a variety of juices, eggs to suit and more. Dinner and a nice wine list enhanced the open wall dining area so we could still see the river! Pool was the perfect temperature for me. A comment about the staff - they were gracious, polite and seemed to be able to predict your needs. Thank you to all.

Rachamankha: "Spectacular Boutique Property"

Review by: Likemyspace | Source: Trip Advisor
"We actually changed our travel dates to be able to stay at this beautiful hotel in Chiang Mai. We had the good fortune of staying in a 2 Bedroom Suite(#24). The space was large, the amenities very comfortable and the beds.....the most comfortable I have slept in for a long time The hotel is stunning. Don't go in expecting a big business hotel with lots of glass and steel. The hotel is a reflection of Lanna architecture and everything about it is so. Big glass windows with large wooden doors. Huge high ceilings. Tiled roofs. Greenery everywhere, all manicured to perfection. Every corner of this property seems to tell a story. The entire hotel has been curated and the architecture, art, artefacts, furniture all have an air of detail to them The breakfast is alacarte with more than enough options to offer everyone Its not an ideal hotel to come to with kids(we came with 2). its a bit too eclectic for them Would I come back? In a heartbeat. Would I pay the asking price? Without hesitation"

Cuca: "If Cuca was 10,000 miles closer to home I would eat there all the time"

Review by: SandstoneSprings | Source: Trip Advisor
Cuca is worth every one of its superlative ratings. Wonderful atmosphere, unique tapas style menu with great selections, a fine staff all at a good value. What more could a person ask for?

Dewakan: "The best restaurant n Malaysia and one of the best in the World"

Review by: globetrotor | Source: Trip Advisor
"Not easy to find, but when you get to this beautiful cosy restaurant, only thing you have to do is ENJOY! I think I had one of the best dinner I ever had... Amazing! So creative, original, tasty, flavored... Chef Darren Deohis a genius! With a great young team around, in the kitchen and also to serve the guests. He prepared us a meal to pare with great Burgundy range, and it was just perfect! All local ingredients, including the best duck I ever had (and I al French, from South West...). This is the place to go (dinner only and not open on Sunday). Don't miss it. For me this may have at least 2 stars in Michelin Guide (3rd star will come with the service)... Just a last word: WOOOOWWWW!"

KHWAN BEACH RESORT: "Real gem"

Review by: Luciaxxx2015 | Source: tripadvisor.com
"We have stayed for 4 nights at khwan beach resort and every moment of the stay was remarkable! Extremely helpful staff, accomodating every request, private pool and great interior with attention to every detail. There is nothing that we could have expected better. The staff provides service to and from the AirPort. As French / English speakers from Lausanne we also felt a touch of home and had no communication problems as the owner is From France . Would highly recommend to any one traveling to kosamui: whether a family , couple or friends. Tip: try the Mathis restaurant or delivery . The kitchen is French fusion and the chef makes amazing fondant au chocolat. For those preferring local menu, there is a great choice Thai food equally as great "
