Rachamankha: "A masterfully curated sophisticated hotel"
"I could not wait to write this review as I was quite moved with the beauty and perfection in design of this elegant property. As an interior designer I adore traveling and observing beautiful interior design around the globe. This property is one of my favorites due to the masterfully curated art and antiques that abound within it. These things When paired with lovely, harmonious architecture and landscape design makes for a keen visual and sensual experience. I have great admiration for the creators of the environment called Rachamankha. The interior spaces, including the hotel rooms are beautiful appointed by a designer who employed restraint to produce balanced, perfectly appointed spaces that evoke a feeling of affluence and history. I especially enjoyed the attention to fine details like handmade candies in dishes, and a sensual decanter of cognac in the beautiful wood paneled Library which was teeming with books of art, travel, history and design. The proximity of this hotel is also of importance. It resides on a quiet street in the old town of Chiang Mai. The old town is very quaint and filled with history and charm while most of the other hotels are located in the riotous and poorly planned concrete sprawl of the newer part of the city. The calm and serene vibe that Rachamankha exudes is greatly helped by where it is located. The staff is reserved and sweet and eager to please without making a spectacle. It's as if they personify the quiet and humble sophistication that IS this property. If you enjoy the nuances of fine taste and refinement, this is the place for you."Hotel Tugu Lombok: "Incredible Family Holiday Weekend!"
Hotel Tugu Lombok is a truly special and amazing place. There is something beautiful to see in every direction - from the larger than life statues and antiques that create drama and intrigue to the tiny details like the bathroom toiletries that are in clay pots or the boardgames in the dining area that are all made of wood and natural materials. Not an eye sore to be found. The attention to detail in both service and decor makes for a very luxurious experience. The food is fantastic and the presentation is beautiful. We loved both the Indonesian fare and the western options and the healthy breakfast smoothy bowls were delish. The beach is stunning and steps away from the rooms and from the restaurants. You can paddle board and snorkel right right off the beach or take a trip out a little further and see sea turtles. I can't recommend this place highly enough. You won't be disappointed.Summertime Villa: "Nice Place"
"Ive been to Goa several times but I had the most Luxurious time while visiting Summertime. . . . . Spacious rooms & a pool to die for…"Rachamankha: "Peaceful place"
"This is a truly beautiful property. The space, design and interior flow have been put together with the eye of a master designer/collector. Every artefact has been carefully chosen and perfectly positioned. Everywhere there is harmony, serenity and something to delight the eye, such that it is impossible to take a bad photograph of Rachamankha! After the chaotic, steamy bustle of the streets of Chiang Mai it really is a delight to enter the enchanting courtyards of this lovely tranquil place. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"Cuca: "Exceptional!"
"This was easily ranked one of, if not, the best meals we've had in Bali. The property sits on a beautiful idyllic garden surrounded by coconut trees. It has an open concept kitchen and I diners sat by the kitchen counter. Service was excellent, in fact, more than excellent. So much attention to details without being intrusive. Food was an explosion of Flavours. I'm not going to list what we ate but everything we had was amazing. It's the first time I went to a restaurant and not take pics of the food as pics will not justify the experience. Like it says in the menu, come with an open mind and an empty stomach! Totally worth it!"Rachamankha: "Perfect honeymoon hotel"
"We stayed here during our honeymoon in June 2015 and it was amazing, we loved every minute The hotel is situated in its own grounds so was very quiet and relaxing, when we were at the pool we were the only people so it was like having our own private pool The room was lovely and the bed was comfy, the decor was modern but traditional at the same time, also flip flops, umbrellas are provided The shower was powerful and the Molton brown toiletries were a nice touch Whilst we were here we had a tasting meal and the food was delicious, the coriander salad was amazing, we also had a traditional Thai massage which was great and set the relaxing tone for our stay here The hotel is within walking distance to the town and the temples near by but you can just jump in a Tuk Tuk if you fancy, by the restaurant they have little business cards with a map on them incase your driver isn't sure where to go so I just kept this in my purse whilst out and about I would night recommend going to the elephant nature park of staying in Chiang mai, it was the highlight of our trip"Mudanwan Villa: "Quiet, beautiful, comfortable"
We stayed in Mudanwan 2 nights. Everything is great, besides you may have some same food in these two days... We went fishing, swimming, stayed in our private outdoor hot spring pool, sit in the 2F library you can see the whole landscape of the place. My little boy loves the ducks most, he always looks at the ducks and chases them, ha... This place is kind of far from north Taiwan. If you go there from north Taiwan, remember to reserve 2-3 nights.GOLDEN BUDDHA BEACH RESORT: "Easter holida"
"Our stay at the Golden Buddha Resort was magnificent, truly magical. We knew getting there was going to be a bit of a trek, but it was really worth it. The location by the sea is great, the beach was vast and empty, each tree-house beautifully furnished and our son liked it too (the pool table, the pizzas at the beach-bar and wifi at the clubhouse especially) It's a place to enjoy nature, where you can reflect, breathe and simply live. With a few added bits of luxury the resort had the perfect balance for us. We stayed at Baan Marina which was beautiful, spent most of our days at the resort (close to the beach bar) and the club house in the evening, playing pool, cards or reading after food. The staff were ever so friendly, Massi and Pena were the perfect hosts. If we would recommend anything, it would be good to offer a few alternative dishes in the evening for kids although saying that we thought the chef was really excellent. Breakfast was a treat too! Thanks to everyone at Golden Buddha for the lovely memories, we loved it! "Sukoon Houseboat: "Amazing View"
The rooms are clean and the well maintained. The bathrooms are very clean and don't even realise that you are on a house boat. The staff are very warm and welcoming . The food was good with variety. A must stay for a night !4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Unforgettable Paradise!!!!"
"What a magical place this is, after 5 hour drive from Phnom Penh and 30 minutes boat ride we arrived to 4 rivers and was welcome by Luiz with welcome drinks and fresh cold towels after a long journey who explained that we were the only ones there for the night. Just my luck as I wanted to propose to my girlfriend. Anna at 4 rivers had suggested all ideas for the perfect proposal plan. On the night we arrived we went to see the fireflies, once we headed back to the tents there was candles and red carpet into the tent and there was the perfect setting for my proposal.(...) Everything exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived to the day we left, the staff are always smiling, very friendly and goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed. The entire setting is a paradise floating on a river with well-equipped tent and great views of the river. We only had 2 nights here on this amazing place but it was the best 2 nights ever which we’ll never forget."
