The incredible villa, staff and overall experience were hands down the best part of my trip to Bali! Every detail was thought of. "An amazing hotel set in a very quiet peaceful location next to Pai river. We were upgraded to the family villa which was one of the best rooms we have ever stayed in. The staff are very attentive but not intrusive. The breakfast was amazing with a choice of 2 courses. A wide selection of food served throughout the day with especially good tapas. We can't recommend this hotel enough and look forward the the day we return. Excellent. Would highly recommend this stunning hotel to everyone beautiful surrounding... can't wait to return.. "I came to Siem Reap for a mix between work and leisure and Samar Villa was the perfect fit. First, as I saw in many reviews, Bertrand and his team are always very attentive to our every need. They helped us organize various functions: from meals in unique restaurants, to temples visits and surprising platform rental with full service on Tonle Sap. We and our clients left absolutely delighted by our stay. Apart from this wonderful service, the villa itself is remarkable. The owners have impeccable taste and a beautiful collection of antiques throughout the public areas and rooms. My suite was spacious and homey and spotless, like I've rarely seen. We had a Bungalow Suite in this lovely hotel, a very roomy option. This is a small hotel that definitely lives up to the information on the web site. The hotel is in a residential area many blocks away from the tourist hype, which made it quite relaxing. The staff was extremely attentive to our every need. While it is possible to take a tuk tuk to any area restaurant, the hotel's kitchen is excellent, so a nice alternative after a tiring day of visiting sites. (Note that the better restaurants in Siem Reap require reservations, which the hotel staff were happy to make.) The whole Siem Reap area operates on U.S. dollars, and the hotel had a ready supply of the small bills needed for many purchases.Maison Polanka: "Haven in a garden"
"We had a blissful stay for three nights. Staff was very friendly, helpful and made us feel at home. We stayed in the Yellow room which we thought was the best room in the main house as it was private, located right next to the shared coffee/tea making facilty and had a big, light bathroom. We arranged for two temple tours through the hotel and the guide allocated was informative and a terrific photographer. Choose this place if you want a quiet place off the touristy area but close enough to hop on a tuk tuk to Pub St in approximately 10mins!"KHWAN BEACH RESORT: "Amazing!! The place to be"

We travelled here a family of seven and were treated with warmth and like royalty. Would highly recommend get off the beaten track in luxury! We went to the local town, Lalsot to see the market and purchase bangles, enjoyed the evening cooking school/demo and the camel cart ride in the local village. Bring individuality wrapped sweets (e.g. Starbursts) for local kids. Lots of history here.SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Perfect harmony"

"Beautiful accommodation set on the shores of the Arabian Sea. Amazing staff, two restaurants serving local fish. Also can recommend the Spa offering Ayurevic massage. Bungalows simply appointed but very comfortable. The open air garden in the en suite was a novel idea. Beautiful gardens with the passing mongoose going about their daily business. Infiniti pool was huge with plenty of sunbeds. This was my last stay on my Kerala tour. Trailfinders left the best til last!"
