Villa Song: "Absolutely amazing"

Review by: Theboydeys | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed at this wonderful hotel as a splurge to ourselves at the end of our holiday that was to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, from the moment we arrived every single staff member was amazing and the hotel absolutely beautiful. We had a quick check in and we're told about breakfast and everything else we needed for our stay, they give you a map and even highlight the taxis that tourists should use. After we went to our room we went to explore and the lovely Yega introduced himself to us and asked if we were happy with our room, of course we were it was beautiful he later asked if we would like a free upgrade and would we like to see the other room as they had had a cancellation , oh my goodness I thought our other room was beautiful this one was absolutely amazing, as Yega explained no room in the hotel is the same as any other, I could have cried our room was that special , I don't think it would matter what room you got they would all be amazing . The rooms are super quiet and have great blackout curtains. The walls are nice and thick so you can't hear the people next door. The bathroom have great toiletries including toothbrush and paste, razor, loofah and sewing kit.I was very happy to see scales in the room it made checking the weight of our luggage so much easier. The room is also equipped with a pod coffee maker, kettle and teapot and complimentary mini bar which included juice, water, soft drinks and beer. It was lovely to come back at nighttime to a turndown service and a yummy little bedtime treat, The boat to take you to district 1 is so much fun and the driver was lovely and took our photo for us and pointed out things of interest along the way. Breakfast was delicious, you choose a hot beverage, a fresh juice and your meal, I had the full breakfast and my husband had the eggs benadict and both were lovely. The pool was glorious and the water much cooler than others we have swam in on this trip, the pool chairs and pods were very comfortable and the pool boys were great, The bell boys were so helpful they were happy to get taxis for us or if we were using Uber they checked the number plate on our phone and kept an eye out for our car for us, and they would always open the car door for us when we arrived back to the hotel. The waitstaff were very friendly and has a chat to everyone and made everyone feel comfortable. Whatever room you get at this hotel you would be happy and we cannot wait to come back and we will bring our family with us next time. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so wonderful."

Sanak Retreat Bali: "Gorgeous resort to relax"

Review by: BrakelSyl | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed end of April in a 2 bedroom villa with our two teenagers. Arrived by own rental car, and found it very easy to find the accommodation, we used the off line google maps on our mobile, and there were some good signs along the way too. Got a warm welcome in the restaurant, with good explanation and a tour around our villa, which was great. The two rooms bungalows all have incredible views to the pool, rice fields and valley. We had two balconies and a verandah, it was so peaceful to sit there and enjoy the jungle concert and view the gorgeous sunsets. The pool was clean, fresh (but not too cold) and spacious, with enough sunbeds and umbrellas. We also loved the funny Indonesian food car, from which you could take the pooltowels. Several times a week the local dance group came there to practice, we loved watching the beautiful girls. With our own car we visited the Buddhist monastery, which was only 25 minutes away. Great serene place! Also did the guided trekking with Berly, which was a very sweet and knowledgable young man. The trip included a swim in the natural spring, which was very refreshing. Our villa had so much nice decorations, and blinds to keep the sun out of the room. It has 2 fans inside, and also a fan on every balcony/verandah. There was no A/C/ but it was no problem at all, this was the coolest house of all our accommodations. This is a place for fully relaxation! Love the views so much, despite there can be some fog in Munduk area, the sight here was always clear. We had some rainshowers in the afternoon, but the mornings were very clear, blue sky and warm. Only two remarks: we found the food in the restaurant too expensive for what we got, compared to our other meals on Bali (but we had our own transport, so we went to Munduk many times) and maybe the ""say goodbye"" could have been as warm as the welcome (?), like in all other places we stay on Bali. But we recommend this place to everyone, it was really a pleasure to stay here, a wonderful memory."

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Very Unique and Very Amazing"

Review by: Roberto N | Source: tripadvisor.com
Stop here for two nights as part of a touring holiday around Cambodia. A total amazing place in a very unique location. Worth every single minute of a long six hours journey. Quiet and relaxing place to get away from it all. Also well worth a visit to the Tatai Water Fall further up or down river depending on time of the day as the river flow either directions! The staff were amazing friendly too and just couldn't do enough to look after you.

Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Paradise"

Review by: “Paradise” | Source: Trip Advisor
"This is one of my favorite places in the world. As soon as you wade ashore off the long tail boat that drops you off you know your somewhere special. It's a wonderful escape from work, city living and the world. There's nothing to do here but relax. A 10km long beach with pretty much no one on it and beautiful water. Small islands and mangrove swamps to explore by kayak. Beautiful beach homes to kick back in. The option of yoga in the morning and massage any time of day. Stayed January 2017, traveled with family"

Tugu Malang: "Outstanding customer service and atmospheric surroundings."

Review by: Lucinda P | Source: tripadvisor.com
Malang is a glimpse into the Indonesia of yesteryear. Tugu Malang fully does justice to the atmospheric surroundings of a beautifully preserved city surrounded by a ring of mountains. My room was beautifully furnished and the Tugus antique collection is astounding. The bathroom is fantastic with an oversized tub for long hot soaks. Choose a suite for extra luxury and atmosphere. What makes this hotel outstanding is the sincerity of the customer service - the attention to detail and the friendliness of the staff thankyou to Bagus and Rosa you do Tugu Malang proud. The cooking class is tremendous fun as is the tour to the markets and streets of atmospheric Malang!!

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Not Just A Hotel But An Experience"

Review by: lancelotcym | Source: Trip Advisor
"GOOD: -historical and cultural hotel with a vast Chinese history -price is relatively high in Penang but it is worthy definitely -huge room, clean washroom even it looks old (looks old, not physically old) -consistent and thoughtful interior from the lobby to the stairs, from the atrium to the room, you will feel you are in the old China -nice place for breakfast BAD: -as there is a lot of open area and trees, do expect there will be mosquito in your room, you better check once otherwise you will be bitten like a fresh meat that I experienced Room Tip: Old but Not Physically Old"

Maduzi Hotel: "Favourite Hotel"

Review by: Pna1988 | Source: Trip Advisor
Their service is always impeccable. They revamped their breakfast menu and it's amazing. Apart from healthy options, they added fancy options like truffle quiche. You must try their freshly baked croissant too... you will not regret it. It is literally the best croissant I've ever had. I've stayed in Maduzi for my last three trips to bkk and I plan to come back for my future trips.

Mume: "A modern take on local flavours"

Review by: SiobhanBreslin | Source: Trip Advisor
After soup dumplings galore and night market snacks Mume offered a fine dining version of Taiwanese flavours and it was nice to experience the variety. The setting is sleek and minimalist but the service is warm and welcoming. We sampled a range of dishes from the menu which offers snacks, small and big plates including oysters, warm sourdough, potato with Taiwanese bacon, Ox tongue and crispy Amadi. I normally ignore dessert but they were intriguing and lighter with peach sorbet and crispy almonds and cucumber yoghurt mousse. Totally deserving of all the positive reviews. We would definitely recommend.
