4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Very Unique and Very Amazing"

Review by: Roberto N | Source: tripadvisor.com
Stop here for two nights as part of a touring holiday around Cambodia. A total amazing place in a very unique location. Worth every single minute of a long six hours journey. Quiet and relaxing place to get away from it all. Also well worth a visit to the Tatai Water Fall further up or down river depending on time of the day as the river flow either directions! The staff were amazing friendly too and just couldn't do enough to look after you.

The Island Lodge: "Delightful respite"

Review by: Christine H | Source: Trip Advisor
"We totally enjoyed our overnight in Mekong Delta at The Island Lodge. We arrived mid-afternoon, about the hottest time of day but felt cool and relaxed as soon as we stepped off our boat. The staff was professional and very helpful in dealing with a passport/visa issue. The room was very clean, well layed out and the decor was ever so tasteful. We were able to make last-minute arrangements for spa treatments in spite of the late time of our arrival. The grounds are well-kept and provided a delightful area to meander and relax. Our dinner orders were taken upon arrival which, while unusual, did allow us to make a special request for extra small portions as we have small appetites. We were especially happy to be presented the requested small portions of each dish and were delighted by the wonderful meal. A special mention to the chef! While English is not spoken fluently by everyone on staff, that only added to the charm as we recognize we speak only five words of Vietnamese. Communicating is part of the adventure of traveling. We enjoyed a short conversation with the owners who, it is clear, love what they have created and seem to want to ensure their guests have the best experience. The only thing I found a bit less-than-perfect is the volume of the A/C unit. Normally I do not like to sleep with the A/C on but the temperatures made that impossible. Each room has its own unit which is loud enough that we were not able to enjoy the normal night sounds through the screened openings which, during our visit, consisted of thunder and socializing geckos. I definitely recommend this property if you have the opportunity to stay in the Mekong Delta."

Rachamankha: "Beautiful place to stay"

Review by: Purplebob6954 | Source: Trip Advisor
"On arrival to the Rachamankha it was hard to deny the breath taking architecture and clean calm appearance of the place. After staying at a friendly, family run guest house in Bangkok I did find this hotel to be a little bit sterile and cold at first. However, over the 4 days that I spent here I really warmed to the place. The location way great, being very central to the old town. Breakfast was excellent, with a really good range. Staff were all friendly and helpful and the facilities were very good, especially the pool. The room was also spacious and beautiful. A faultless stay. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Tents with style"

Review by: ronnieredneck | Source: tripadvisor.com
We arrives here after a very long drive fro Phnom Penh and how unusual was it? Reception and booking in twenty minutes by boat from the actual hotel ---bliss. Lovely setting in a river that is just magical with staff mostly from the local village being trained up -- loved it. Rooms are posh tents and are comfortable quiet and well equipped. Our welcome was warm and personal and without exception the staff were efficient professional friendly and eager to please. We took the trip to the waterfalls and spent a very pleasant few hours swimming kayaking and generally enjoying the sights of the area. Our guide was superb and made the trip really enjoyable and memorable. Kayaking the best part of half a mile down the river whilst our guide took piccies was really good fun. Thanks to everyone involved in this worthwhile project in a stunning setting

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "The perfect break!"

Review by: 192Lynne192 | Source: Trip Advisor
Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge provided the perfect break from the rush, noise and dust in city life in Nepal. From the moment you arrive the staff are attentive and provide helpful information in a non intrusive way. The rooms, each a cottage on its own, are spacious, comfortable and every need is catered for. Early morning views of the mountains are spectacular and visible from each of the rooms. The food is so good at each meal, individual needs having been taken into account, it is worth losing a bit of weight before staying there. A place to be returned to.

Dewakan: "Fabulous fine dining gastronomic experience"

Review by: ramnathcrishnan12 | Source: Trip Advisor
If you want a superb fine dining experience with exquisitely adapted Malaysian cuisine, this is as good as it gets in KL. This restaurant is open only for dinner. Options are between a 5 course and a 10 course meal - from appetisers to dessert. All at the table must choose the same option of number of courses. Beautifully served and you will taste herbs, flowers and meats not seen on menus often. Service is unobtrusive, efficient and friendly. Good wines are on offer. Reservation needed and if you have dietary restrictions , need to advise them in advance. Chef Darren (or Darell) is extremely passionate and dishes out an outstanding fare - a la Master Chef style .

Inle Princess Resort: "Magically peaceful"

Review by: Stephen_and_Anna | Source: Trip Advisor
We've been lucky enough to stay in some great hotels over the years, but this is probably the most magical location we've stayed in. We had stayed the previous night in a monastery as we were trekking in the Shan hills. Also magical, but very basic. To then arrive at the Princess Resort by boat - and travel everywhere by boat over the next day or so - was wonderful. We had a villa with an amazing sunset view out over the lake - a a great way to relax at the end of long days exploring the area. Highly recommended!

Flower Island: "Gorgeous, stylish resort with a strong personal touch"

Review by: amberthed0g | Source: tripadvisor.com
"Stayed three nights here last week, and had an unforgettable time. I think what sets this apart from some of the top end resorts is the personal touch and the tasteful, considered aesthetic. The cottages and restaurant are set back behind the palm trees so as not to create an imposing man made frontage. The use of natural objects like sea shells, bamboo and palms feels, along with the 'ethnic' decor somehow feels more inspired than the cliched attempts you usually see in these sorts of places. (....)the island does genuinely create a special sort of intimacy and calm. I really can not speak highly enough of this place."

Tandjung Sari: "This place really is a 5 star hotel…"

Review by: wowbagger2 | Source: tripadvisor.com
We stayed here 1 night before flying back to Europe. Everything about Tandjung Sari is just excellent. The staff are professional and helpfull, they will go the extra mile for you with a smile. The place is perfectly well kept, the bugalows ooze luxe, comfort and classic Balinese style. Food was great, excellent by-the-glass wine choice and do try the banana fritters with icecream. Smooth jazz in the late afternoon to watch the sunset in style. We'll be back for more!
