Glenburn Tea Estate: "Relaxing Peaceful Stay"

"A beautiful place under the shadows of Darjeeling and majestic view of Towering Kanchanjenga. Located on a ridge surrounded by tea plantation. Spacious accommodation with large rooms beautifully decorated with cultural paintings. Food is excellent with menu different every day. That whole staff is courteous and ever smiling. Plenty of activities which can be arranged by the management if you want to keep yourself occupied. Otherwise, relax and read a book under a tree, listening to chirping birds which are quite in number. Except for the approach road the place is ideal for people looking for serenity from the hustle bustle of city life. Hospitality covers all the little difficulties if one feels. I am surely recommending to all my friends and relatives. Experience worth it. Jemima keep up the good work and all the best to your staff for taking care of us. Manda De Laos: "Special"

This restaurant is very special, it has charm, charisma, but most importantly fantastic food. The setting is amazing and the staff are friendly and efficient. This restaurant is a must if you are in Luang Prabang.

Heritage Suites Hotel: "Excellent hotel!"

We were at this hotel as part of our honeymoon trip. Very well located, near the airport, and near the center of Siem Reap, our stay was very pleasant. The rooms are really nice and comfortable, and the staff people are very friendly, like all the people you know in Cambodia. Highly recommended to travel as a couple and to enjoy this wonderful site of the world.

Chakrabongse Villas: "A palace"

It's not often you get to stay in a real palace. And the Traditional Thai teak sala hotel rooms on its palace grounds are unique and remarkable. Our room fronted the Chao Praya river,and candidly, our private lanai/patio was double the size of most hotel rooms these days. Not cheap, but an experience. And perfect for that very very special celebration Best of all, Tatien district, which is behind the royal palace and Wat Po, is experiencing a revival with new eateries, things to do and trendy hotels. We loved the Museum Siam directly across from Chakrabongse Villas, and the River Books bookstore o hotel premises. Don't miss nearby Err restaurant, traditional Thai from the folks that gave us bo.lan.

Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Amazing people, amazing place!"

My wife and I visited in January, and Noel Rodrigo's Leopard Safari was our first stop in a week-long trip. After a 6 hour drive from Colombo, we were greeting at Camp with fresh towels, cocktails in the open air lobby, and then dinner under the stars. The food - wow, the food! - was delicious, the conversation with other guests enjoyable, and the service perfect. We did two game drives the next day and saw countless animals, including a leopard. Our guides were extremely knowledgeable about the animals, their habitat, questions we had, and more. The jeeps were well-stocked with snacks and sodas, and the food back at Camp between game drives - breakfast and lunch - was delicious. The curries, roti, and fruits were delicious. Lastly, we stayed in the standard tent the first night which was comfortable. I decided to upgrade to the luxury tent the second night to surprise my wife, and it is spectacular. Beautiful room, nicely decorated, and an A+. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Noel Rodrigo's Safari Camp to others looking to see Yala National Park and the infamous leopards.

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion Logo Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Fabulous!"

We stayed here for 5 nights and the stay was great. The staff were wonderful and the rooms very comfortable. The history is fascinating and the renovation work excellent. We didn’t eat here other than breakfast - we ate at the Red Garden Food Paradise and Night Market which is right next door - so many choices and so inexpensive!

Locavore: "Amazing lunch"

we really enjoyed the lunch. So amazing. And the service also great too. Wanna go again for dinner. It's so hard to book the time.

Chakrabongse Villas: "A real oasis – beautiful and worth every cent :)"

"Chakrabongse Villas is a really luxurious boutique hotel. We were guests here for 3 nights in April, and we wanted for nothing. We were offered a welcome cocktail when we arrived late in the evening, and our villa was traditional Thai style, and it was well appointed, clean and cool. We had a lovely private balcony overlooking the garden, with fresh flowers, pool towels, daybeds and shade aplenty. Having large villas, lovely gardens and only a handful of villas, we hardly ever saw another guest! We enjoyed the pool and the activity on the river, which we were on the banks of. Grounds are very private, with locked gates. Staff are unobtrusive but efficient, and the clamour, heat and bustle of Bangkok stops at the gates, and you enter a true oasis of calm and luxury. The riverside restaurant is also lovely and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast there each morning, with exquisite service, lovely food, and tourism advice as required. We took their longtail boat tour through the canals one afternoon, and thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was reasonably priced, too. One night we ate at the restaurant for dinner, and really, we were treated like royalty. A treat for the soul, and lovely, simple set menu, deliciously prepared. It was my husband's birthday one day, and they gave him a lovely gift. Add all of this together, and you have an exemplary service provider. Expensive but as i say, well worth it. Tandjung Sari: "12 Days at Tandjung"

Our stay was very close to perfect- we selected a garden villa as our home base for the family holiday. The staff at Tandjung were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Starting each day with a shower (in the private outside villa courtyard) then having breakfast on the beachfront was a daily highlight for me. The villa and the grounds and the facilities around the resort were immaculate and the security staff at both ends of the property added to a sense of exclusivity. And lastly, Tandjung is great value; a similar quality room at a Seminyak resort cost my cousin more than double the rate. We will come back to Tandjung Sari for sure.
