Great staff and great boat. Pretty dishes and nice drinks and food. The only draw back is that it is a bit expensive, especially for extra drinks. "Myself and two friends visited David's kitchen on a Saturday night, we did not have a reservation but David was very happy to accommodate us. He took the time to ask us about our trip and what our plans were, while also giving us advice on other attractions and bars in the area. The food and service was amazing, the best we've eaten on our trip. The staff regulately enquired as to whether we needed anything. The chocolate souffle an tiramisu were the best we've ever had. The staff were all kind and attentive, really setting the experience apart. We had a really enjoyable meal last night as part of our honeymoon trip to Chiangmai. We ate off the set 4 course menu which was excellent value and the food was delicious. I really enjoyed the pumpkin soup in particular and my husband really enjoyed his duck main. The waiting staff were brilliant and all-in-all I would highly recommend. It is a little pricier than some other local eateries but definitely worth it in terms of food quality and the lovely ambience.The Hue House: "Dinner"

"We had a magnificent stay at Villa Song! I would totally return to this property and would recommend it highly. The staff was so accommodating and could not do enough for us! The chef, Kevin, was amazing and the food was superb! Everything was perfect from our check-in (loved the watermelon juice, so refreshing after a hot taxi ride from the airport), wait staff, porters, housekeeping, etc! We spend 3 nights at the Lodge and really loved it! Very nicely decorated , in lush greenery, amazing and friendly service and great food. And so nice to discover on a bike tour with Michel the way local people leave. Everyone was super friendly! "We had a great stay here. The best bed we have ever had in a hotel.A lovely tranquil place on the river. Very friendly staff, nice rooms and public areas. Excellent breakfast and dinner. In district 2 about 30 mins from the centre of town. Regular free boat service in to town. A perfect place to stay just a little way from a very busy, noisy and bustling city. I stayed here with my boyfriend for two weeks, using it as a base for our day trips around the area. The hotel is gorgeous, very quiet and secluded. The staff were wonderful very thoughtful and very happy to help. Food was also fab, I would recommend doing the Taste of Borneo! xx
