Dewakan: "Amazing restaurant – GO!"

Review by: katieluce | Source: Trip Advisor
"When we watched John Torode's Malaysia programme back in the UK , he showed this place and so we booked it for our last night in KL. I have to admit as it got closer I got concerned that we had made a mistake. No malaysian we spoke to in KL had heard of the place and it soon became apparent that it was on the outskirts of town, a good hour away from central KL and forms part of the KDU campus. I need not have worried however. The whole experience from start to finish was brilliant. The service was attentive, the team enthusiastic about the food and the food itself was inventive and interesting. We had the 17 course tasting menu and every dish was different and innovative in its use of traditional Malay ingredients. Notable dishes included a perfectly rendered crispy duck skin over succulent rare duck meat, as well as the almost Heston Blumenthal like childish fun of putting together the slow baked red snapper in broth dish. There was only one dish we didn't particularly enjoy, which was the prawn dish and we found the texture of the raw prawns a bit odd, but it was clever cooking nonetheless with the flavour combination. This place is worthy of a Michelin star. My only concern is that being so far out of town and having only 10 tables, it is not getting enough clientele. So please, please if you enjoy inventive and innovative cuisine, go to this restaurant."

Tugu Lombok: "Tropical paradise"

Review by: soil_management | Source: Trip Advisor
From the moment we were met at the airport to our departure all the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. Add into the equation a beautiful beach, amazing building and fantastic accommodation and you can see how this becomes a really memorable location for resting and relaxing. Plenty of tasty choices for meals whether you are eating in the main restaurant, on the beach, in the magnificent "wedding hall" or, as we did one evening, just the two of us up above the Hindu temple. Two large swimming pools, 1km of beach so opportunities for swimming and scuba diving. Our room has a plunge pool which was great for refreshing us. The outside bath was fun just sitting beneath the stars. We must go back.

Les Maisons d’Itac: "Best place we stayed in the Philippines"

Review by: Andrea L | Source: Trip Advisor
"Me and my gf spent 4 nights at Les Maisons d'Itac. We were supposed to stay for 3, we loved the place so much we decided to stay 1 more night (we couldn't stay longer as the Mayson Ulisse was not available anymore, so we kept our travel plan on). What can we say? Bryan (who spoke italian, we're italians and we have very charming and nice conversations during our stay) has been the perfect host. Always ready to help, charmful and totally welcoming. We booked our trasfers to Bantayan and back to Cebu through him and it was just perfect! The food at the maisons is great, the location awsome. They have an amazing spot for snorkelling just in front of the resort that you can reach in a few mins swimming. What makes this place special (apart from the view, the nature around, the sea) is the SILENCE. In almost a month in the Philippines we never found such a relaxing spot, where you can fall asleep at night hearing at the waves sounds. A true dream come true. If you're looking for a place to stay around Moalboal (it can be reached in 25 minutes scooter ride from the resort, you can rent just asking Bryan) DO NOT HESITATE to book a stay at the Maisons. p.s: say hi to Itac and Stacey for us :) Ciao! Andrea & Marta Room Tip: Maison Ulysse is a must-to-try!"

Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "The best"

Review by: Keri L | Source: Trip Advisor
We stayed here for two nights and it was wonderful. The individual room is beautifully design and has their own little balcony. The food at the restaurant is excellent. The reception has a great library. It is good to know you are supporting the local community as well. One of the drawback is that given it is so ecofriendly, we kept hearing noises from various animal on our roof which disturb our sleep a little bit.

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Exceptional"

Review by: Sandra G | Source: Trip Advisor
It is impossible to describe Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge. The scenery is breath taking, the food deliciously superb, the ambiance and staff first class. As a disabled person I (Allan) greatly appreciated having the bungalow closest to the main building. Marcus and his staff could not have been kinder or more considerate. Wish we could have stayed longer. As we are not exactly in the first flush of youth, it is unlikely that we will visit Nepal again but if we do we will certainly visit Tiger Mountain again. We wish Marcus and his team every success for the future. Sandra and Allan

Inle Princess Resort: "How disappointing"

Review by: rodgs | Source: Trip Advisor
"We travelled by car to the resort because our boat transfer was cancelled due to poor weather. We finally arrived at the resort down a dirt track and parked under a lean to. We were greeted by a young gentleman who said he would take us to our room. I had to ask if we were in the right place as it looked nothing like the photos on the net. He assured me it was. As we progressed, it soon became obvious that we had come in the back entrance. Our feelings went from total disappointment to one of elation. Check in was simple and efficient. Our room was clean and spacious. I could comment that there was not enough light in the room, but the intimacy it provides is all part of the charm of the place. The staff were most helpful in all areas and their genuine happiness could not be faulted. Like most of Myanmar at this stage, the SMALL imperfections in most places when compared with other 5star establishments in the rest of the world are what makes its charm. The breakfast offering is most probably a bit average but adequate. We would happily stay again and have no problem recommending it for any other couple."

Satri House: "The Oasis in Luang Prabang"

Review by: Jeffrey B | Source: Trip Advisor
"This resort is very charming and colonial, tucked away from the main town area, with a very serene and quiet surrounding. The main town area is just some easy 5-8 min walk away, which gives this resort the best of both worlds - convenient yet peaceful. The service was excellent. We were personally greeted by Mr Lucky and Ms Navinda, both were very warm and hospitable. Breakfast was superb too, with very interesting choices and generous servings. Room make-up service was very prompt and frequent, and they would replace the used towels with clean ones each time they make up the room. There are 2 pools in the resort, with a lot of secret hidden corners for you to discover, and you can have the whole place to yourselves to relax. Before checkout, the hotel staff even packed the breakfast for us to eat before our flight. What a nice gesture! We would not hesitate to return and recommend this place to everyone visiting Luang Prabang."

Chakrabongse Villas: "Quiet oasis, great location"

Review by: rtwnomads | Source: tripadvisor.com
The Oriental Villa was perfect for our family of 4 (kids 10 and 8). Great location to explore the highlights of Bangkok. Dinner on the river was outstanding, and Ms. Atom reserved us a table at Sala Rattanakosin (within walking distance, also on the river) when their chef was off and it was equally memorable.

Supanniga Luxury Bangkok River Cruises: "Great Cruise!"

Slow Villas and Spa: "A very private and very chic hideout that is difficult to beat"

Review by: jglynnsmith | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed in Slow Vilas last week of July 2016. Tucked away in a more remote part of Gili Air, Slow was the perfect place that combines desert-island and experience with locals and the highest quality of comfort, local antique furnishing and charm. We felt Slow was right at the other end of the spectrum of an impersonal resort, where everything is designed to work with the local community, local taste and eco-friendliness. The hard-working expat' Julie running the place has a strong enough personality to transmit her energy and passion for her desert-island project / concept into her guests ; while making sure that everything is run to the highest standards to keep everyone happy. This is truely one not to be missed. Island-bliss..."
