MesaStila: "What a retreat!"

Review by: LuxuryTravellerBCN | Source: Trip Advisor
"Had the most amazing stay in this place. From my villa, the attentiveness of the staff, the stunning views and the morning yoga surrounded by a coffee plantation. This place is definitely the best place if you are looking to disconnect and recharge energy. LOVED IT!"

Reverie Siam: "Loving it"

Review by: ahfook | Source: Trip Advisor
"The hotel has a very beautiful ground. Everything were just amazing. Nice restaurant, unique room with jacuzzi, great pools, friendly staffs. Everything was cater to my request. I really feel I was well taken care off. I dare to say that this is probably the best hotel in pai. It's close to town yet far enough to enjoy some quiet moment. The villa 9 I had was located along the pai river. The view is amazing. The rate is high, but surely worth every penny for special occasion. Yes, at night there might be some noises and music from drinking places beyond the bank. But they stop after 10pm. It's not a problem if you close the door. But then you will not enjoy the crisp fresh air during the winter. Some mosquitoes flying in from outside, but strangely, they seem doesn't bite. I am blood type O, and I am doing fine! Haha... not sure if it's because it winter month. For rural area like pai, this is definitely a gem! Stayed February 2017, traveled solo"

Glenburn Tea Estate: "Invitation to a Country House"

Review by: GautamMajumdar | Source: Trip Advisor
"Understated elegance, unobtrusive service and superb comfort food using the best of local produce with a focus on the hill cuisines of north east India sums up the Glenburn experience. Glenburn effortlessly creates the ambience of a country house weekend, with the guests mingling easily over evening drinks followed by a communal dinner around a cosy dining table with the conversation flowing easily. I asked Holly (who along with Jemima manages this gem of a hotel with easy efficiency) whether they choose their guests and she replied that the guests choose themselves! This small eight suite boutique hotel near Darjeeling sits on a beautiful site overlooking Kanchenjunga, the third highest peak in the world. The suites are cosy and luxurious recreating the life style of the tea planters in their glory days. The estate, a working plantation, continues to produce the best of Darjeeling tea, and I would recommend even the hardiest of coffee drinkers ( I am one as well ) to forgo it while they are here and focus on imbibing some of the exquisite tea's produced by the estate. There are probably places where there may be better cuisine (though I would doubt it), more luxurious digs (I have yet to see them) and maybe a location better than this little piece of heaven; but it is really how everything, including the guests, comes together which makes Glenburn truly special. Stayed March 2017, traveled with friends"

Locavore: "A wonderful experience."

Review by: Brad P | Source: Trip Advisor
"Fantastic fine dinning in the heart of Ubud. The seven courses plus matching drinks were excellent and delicious, as was the pre dinner 'snacks'. The highlights for me were 'into the sawah' and 'bubur sumsum'. The service was outstanding with each dish and drink fully explained by the waitress. My partner and I left full and very satisfied. The experience is not cheap by any means but certainly worth treating yourself when in Ubud or Bali."

tugu bali: "Bali at its best"

Review by: J P | Source: tripadvisor.com
"You are surrounded by fabulous art and exquisite architecture and that Balinese attention to every detail... Tugu is pricey but is a worthwhile splurge. The vibe is very colonial era, and the charm is for REAL (but, the wifi works fine too). When we needed proper Balinese formal attire to attend a religious ceremony (Melasti) on the beach, the staff lovingly suited us up in style... Tugu rocks it: Service ✔ Spa✔ Restaurant ✔ Beach ✔ Performances✔ The most beautiful room and bath tub ever✔ This is the real thing folks, this is what you come to Bali for. "

Nimmu House: "Lovely place, full of charm!"

Review by: LauraFR2014 | Source: tripadvisor.com
"We had the chance to stay one night in this wonderful house. It's the perfect place to get used to the altitude on the first days of your stay in the Himalaya or even for resting after a trek. You will definitely appreciate the beauty of the place, the landscapes and the perfect service of the very nice staff. Everything is done to ensure you have the best stay. The food cooked with fresh product from the village is DELICIOUS, especially their homemade apricot jam jar ! The rooms are very charming as well as the tents. The wooden structure makes you feel closer to the nature. The house is full of history and you have to ask the team to tell you. You will learn a lot about the way of living of Ladakhi people. I would recommend to anyone to stop at least for one night in this SURPRISING, RELAXING and AMAZING Nimmu House."
