Manda De Laos: "A delight for the senses!"
This restaurant is stunning. The setting is gorgeous, from the décor to the ponds with flowering lotus, the lighting to the perfect service - warm, attentive and discreet, if the dining was to be half as good as the setting then we were in for a truly special night...and the dining was perfect. Beautifully presented dishes, authentic local flavours... fresh, aromatic and delicious, truly 5star Laos dining in every respect but with homestyle warmth in the service style. The perfect place to explore and enjoy Laos cuisine.4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "A must stay experience"
"This place is amazing. Everything has been thought of to make his experience truly amazing. A boat picks you up and you can go to a nearby waterfall to swim and kayak. Our kids were towed along part of the river back to the hotel and loved it! The hotel is floating in a quiet area of the river. You can swim directly off your room, paddle or stand up paddle. The rooms are are very thoughtful and have everything you would expect. All toiletries are Eco friendly. There are movies and books (rained for a few hours) board games etc. The meals are delicious, the trip to see the fireflies is exciting. You must go and stay here, one night really isn't enough!"Rachamankha: "Breathtaking Buildings and Grounds"
"The Rachamankha Hotel is the most beautifully designed hotel at which we have ever stayed - an architecture and design lover’s dream. People are literally taken aback when they drive through the gates and see the front entranceway with a huge fabric panel flapping in the wind. We stayed in a ground floor room with incredibly high ceilings, a huge bathroom, and big, stylish dark wooden furniture and doors. Rachamanhka has all your modern amenities but each detail is tied beautifully together by its historic Chinese and Thai aesthetic. In the courtyard just outside our room, the welcoming seating area as well as the plants, paths and pieces of art, worked together to make us feel calm and relaxed. This is the only time we’ve ever stayed in and ordered drinks just to hang out in a hotel’s courtyard! The pool was beautiful and perfect for cooling off after a long day in the sun. Or you can just lay in the poolside chairs and have a drink with a book in hand. It’s easy to walk to many things, or just grab a tuk-tuk for a quick ride. Highly recommend staying here if you want a relaxing, luxurious time in Chiang Mai. Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"Glenburn Tea Estate: "Relax and enjoy the views"
"Its a long and winding steep hill that takes you to this idyllic location. The rooms are wonderful and in keeping with the location. The views are stunning and its is a wonderful place to relax, that said don't miss a trip to Darjeeling a fabulous and busy town. I'd take a day to see it. You can also enjoy a massage. I took a walk into the village and it was great to see. Room Tip: Most rooms are great but I'd try and avoid the room off the main lounge."Maison Polanka: "Make the Most of Cambodia"
Fantastic accommodations in the heart of Seam Reap. Quaint, quite boutique hotel that catered to our every need including creating an itinerary to maximize our 3 days exploring the city. In addition to fantastic food, they have a wonderful, helpful staff that coordinated tour guides and set up a special tour of the Diamond Silk weaving farm. A must! The pool was the perfect refresher after hot temple tours!Muang La Lodge: "Tourisme"
"Confidential address Wonderful hotel: Refined tasteful Integrating perfectly into the landscape -Restauration- Rooms Massage Pool -Bains hot spring water: Perfect for a place so far away from towns and villages 👍Bravo👌 For discreet home and friendly and professional ultra efficient "Mathilde" young woman: young and already experienced a 5 star far from the base of tourism. "SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Beautiful lakeside fine dining with perfect service"
"Last night we had the most beautiful dinner at Seeds. With personalised service and attention from the owners and their extremely well trained, attentive and friendly staff, this is a perfect restaurant for a business or a romantic dinner. The delicious canoes, home made truffle ravioli with truffle foam and perfectly cooked sea bass were absolutely in keeping with the chefs’ Michelin accolades. A wonderful balanced wine list with reasonable prices rounds out the perfect meal. The architecture is stunning too. Overlooking perfectly kept gardens that undulate down to the lake there’s even a stunning water feature fountain that appears to shoot out from the lake under lights. To top it off, there’s a private dining g room on a glamorous treehouse. Just amazing!"The Hue House: "Possibly best meal in Vietnam"
Came here on our last night in Vietnam. Hidden gem: the restaurant was a bit hard to find. Didn't quite realise it was a rooftop restaurant, the building it is in looks like an office building and there was no signage at the bottom of the building and cafes next door did not know the place either. Anyways, we found it and were incredibly impressed. All dishes were really good, had a mix of noodle and rice dishes and appetisers, lots of flavour, beautiful tastes. If I'd have to call out one dish: rice pancakes w shrimp were fantastic. Possibly the best meal we have had in our fortnight in Vietnam.David’s Kitchen: "Best dining experience in Chiang Mai"
This restaurant is a must if you are in Chiang Mai. The food, service and overall experience were exceptional. David greeted us upon arrival to the restaurant and continued to check in on us throughout the meal. He and his staff made us feel like royalty. The food was second to none. Highlights included the pumpkin soup and wagyu beef cheek. We walked away with full stomachs and fuller smiles. We can't wait to come back next time.Mathis Retreat: "Small, peaceful and calming paradise in the ricefields"
My boyfriend and I started our Bali journey in the heart of the island. After a good hour drive we arrived at the Kenanga Boutique Hotel in Ubud and were totally amazed by it only after a few minutes of our stay. Away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud downtown, the hotel offers breathtaking views of the rice fields. A sleep in the traditional-inspired suite made all the anxiety and jetlag disappear, the staff was extremely nice and made us feel very welcome, while the whole atmosphere left us feeling relaxed and peaceful. Beside the outstanding views, Kenanga has the most amazing infinity pool. A swim by the rice field panorama, relaxes your mind in a nicest way possible. I had one of the best breakfasts in there, the food overall was extremely delicious (I would highly suggest you visit their Terra Cotta restaurant for a healthy meal with the best view ever) The hotel was the perfect starting point for exploring the Ubud area (...) The reason more why I would recommend a Kenanga stay is the fact that they are highly connected with the local community, therefore they are helping good local people make their living. The manager was very kind and helpful, providing us with many relevant information. The overall experience exceeded our expectations, a calming and relaxing feel made us forget about the worries and opened the Bali trip we would surely never forget.
