4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Relaxing break after siem Reap"

Review by: LesleyG857 | Source: tripadvisor.com
"Lovely break after the heat of the temples. About 4-5 hours trip by car from Phnom Penh but worth the journey From the welcome drink on arrival to the staff coming to the jetty to wave us goodbye when we left it was a great few days. Lovely staff and great food. The tents are very large and very well fitted out. (Nothing like the tents I remember from girl guiding)We had intended to go to the waterfall but it was so relaxing sitting on our deck watching the river we did not bother but everyone else really enjoyed the trip. We had a massage which was very reasonable, ask for the gentle version!!! The staff were lovely my husband has mobility problems and everyone was really helpful If you visit Cambodia and have the time visit Four Rivers you will have a great time"

Supanniga Cruise: "Supanniga Cruise Menu"

Review by: Donna A | Source: Trip Advisor
Wow! What a nice surprise. This was my first river cruise in Bangkok, and I never really expected a Thai gourmet dinner. The food was very good and beautifully presented. There was: Taittinger champagne and an Amuse Bouche of fried Thai mackerel wrapped with Chaplu leaves, an Appetizer of 3 minced pork stir-fried with garlic and peanuts, pomelo salad with grilled prawn and spicy minced chicken salad, a Soup- Thai spicy soup with jumbo prawn, then 5 main dishes- pork, crab, fish and "Son-in-law" eggs, Dessert- mango sticky rice (the mango had been shaped into a flower) and to finish Petit Fours and Tea. All outstanding

It is good quite place for long stays, have beautiful pool, good service, very good food, rooms are clean and nice. A beautiful village, to have walk on village street and evening tea in the town with villagers gossip centre could be the highlight of your trip to this village. Love to go again someday...!!! Satri House: "Best Place to Stay in Luang Prabang."

Review by: Charn P | Source: tripadvisor.com
The Satri House was the place to stay even though it was much more expensive than other comparable hotels. The place was more a house than a hotel. In a way it went well with the town of Luang Prabang since two of them set the mood back by decades in time. Our group of four drove there in our SUV and spent two nights in Luang Prabang before heading back to Bangkok via Vang Vieng and Viengthein. Therefore our highlight of the whole trip was in Luang Prabang. The highlight of our activities was the offering food to Buddhist monks.

Book at Battambang Resort, Battambang. No Reservation Costs. Great Rates. Great Availability · Special Offers. Comfortable stay, away from the town, but good for exploring the countryside. Very good food at the restaurant.

Flower Island: "Absolutely Amazing"

Review by: Romatron | Source: Trip Advisor
"My husband and I came to flower island as part of our honeymoon. This is an absolute MUST! It is honestly a once in a life time experience. I have been fortunate enough to travel a lot, especially through Asia, including Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand and the Phillippines. I have also stayed in places like Bora Bora. flower island still amazed me and took my breath away. You are on your own secluded island with only a hand full of guests. You stay in a tree house like accommodation- my husband and I felt like Tarzan andJane! You are surrounded by beauty and it is the most relaxing experience. The staff on the island are so friendly. It is very relaxed, and some people may like that 5 star 'being doted on hand and foot' style of service, but this place is so easy going and care free. The service is genuine and kind. Please remember, they lead an island life style, and it is relaxed. There is a bar and a beautiful, earthy restaurant where all your meals are catered for. Nice home cooked meals. I would recommend you get to the dining area as soon as the meal time begins to avoid the food cooling, as it's a buffet style. Also, as my husband and I swam and kayaked all day, we were a little hungry between meals, so we would recommend you bring some of your own snacks. Also, as it's a place that respects and is in touch with nature, expect some small visitors (like bugs etc) to your room, so maybe bring bug spray to deter mosquitos, and I would recommend a torch. I would also recommend a room with air conditioning as it can get a little steamy. We had this style room and it was comfortable. I would also highly recommend the pearl farm tour. Whilst the tour was interesting, the place where they take you to snorkel is amazing and essentially untouched as the area is highly protected. Most of the coral we saw on previously in our el Nido island hopping tours was dead, but this snorkel spot is just breath taking. The best I have ever seen! On the island as well there is a light house, which you can stay in for no extra charge- a great experience for those who are a Little more adventurous! You can walk to the top of the light house and are presented with a 360 degree view! Amazing. Such a wonderful place that offers priceless views and the most relaxing time away. It is worth the slightly expensive transfers in (van and boat ride) but the speed boat ride itself is exciting- we felt like James Bond on our way in! Very classy and a great entrance! One of my favorites spots I have been to so far in all my travels. Such a beauty and one of a kind. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"

Bassac Cruises: "Relaxing way to see the countryside and river"

Review by: Peter-Anagio | Source: Trip Advisor
"We booked a one night cruise and struck lucky as we were the only passengers on board. Even the 4 hour transfer on the first day was soon forgotten when we had lunch on board and cruised along the river and canals. In the afternoon we had a walk around the countryside and sampled some fruit. Everything was explained perfectly by An who gave us a lesson in everything Vietnamese, history, economy, education, social services, you name it, she explained it all to us. Back on board we had a drink followed by dinner. After a nightcap we retired to the small but comfortable a air conditioned cabin with ensuite. Early to rise, we had breakfast on board before transferring to a smaller boat for the final tours of local sugar factory, floating market and rice cake making. Again, expertly explained by An, we sadly said our goodbyes to face the 2 1/2 hour transfer back to Saigon. This was a great way to get to know a piece of the real Vietnam."

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Fantastic experience would highly recommend"

Review by: Cantium | Source: Trip Advisor
"We have just stayed for 2 nights at Tiger Mountain and we wished we had stayed longer. Our stay was so welcoming and attentive a truly wonderful experience. We enjoyed great food and attentive and faultless staff who really looked after us. Our accommodation provided everything we needed and we like its eco friendliness, the hot water bottles in bed at night were a lovely touch. Pre dinner drinks in front of a roaring log fire with fellow guests was enjoyable. We particularly loved our helicopter trip to Annapurna Base Camp - what an experience (very reasonably priced if you can share the experience with fellow guests like we did) and our birding and village walk was enjoyable and informative. Tiger Mountain has wonderful staff, and great guides. We would highly recommend the experience and let the hotel organise all your activities as they know what they are doing! Outstanding views and a morning wake up call with tea and homemade biscuits to watch the sunrise over the mountains was perfect. D Don’t hesitate just book it! Thank you Marcus and all the team."
