Locavore: "Bouche amused"
Truly delicious, innovative, and in the number of surprise courses they keep bringing you, surprisingly good value.Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "This is an adventure not a hotel"
Arriving after mid day we were presented with a fantastic lunch, and then, after a short break taken out on the first of our four safaris. Noel has the inside running on the gig. He knows how to avoid the crowds and where the animals are likely to be (picking up on the signs most of us look past or do not hear). He goes straight to the front of the line at opening time for a first run on the empty roads (which animals also find it convenient to run along). Noel uses Land Cruisers with proper rounded off road tyres and adjusted suspensions, and provides high quality binoculars which adds to the experience. The food and service, no doubt reflecting Noel's experience in the airline industry, was of the highest standard. The tents are true safari camping tents - not glorified hotel rooms dressed up as a night under canvas ("glamping") - but still comfortable and very much fit for purpose. Note there are no promises about what you will or will not see. If you want a 100 per cent guarantee as to spotting a Leopard I recommend a zoo - otherwise embrace the adventure.Slow Villas and Spa: "Amazing villa, couldn’t have asked for more"
"From start to finish we were made to feel very welcome, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The villa was beautiful, very nicely decorated, the private pool was great. Breakfasts were amazing, brought to our villa at a requested time and laid out on the garden table to enjoy the morning. We were treated to a complimentary massage in the adjoining spa which was very relaxing and free pilates in the mornings was a very enjoyable bonus. The only minor comment would be that a couple of things like bike hire and laundry service seemed needlessly overpriced. If I returned to Gili Air I would stay here again."Satri House: "Beautiful quiet hotel"
Our plane arrival was two hours late and Satri House was there to pick us up on arrival. The service was kind, friendly, and gracious throughout our stay. Navi, the guest services manager was present to offer dining suggestions and answer any questions we might have. All of the staff were excellent. The hotel is arranged in beautiful gardens and pools around a Lao prince's residence. The furnishings and interiors are antiques and one of a kind art pieces. It is almost like staying in an art museum. The impressions are fantastic. The food in the dining room was excellent. We had dinner twice and breakfast every morning. It is good value for money. We used the hotel bicycles to go sight seeing which was fun. It was overall a wonderful experience. We stayed in room 622 which was large, artfully arranged, and quiet, with both air conditioning and a ceiling fan which we loved.Rachamankha: "Perfect honeymoon hotel"
"We stayed here during our honeymoon in June 2015 and it was amazing, we loved every minute The hotel is situated in its own grounds so was very quiet and relaxing, when we were at the pool we were the only people so it was like having our own private pool The room was lovely and the bed was comfy, the decor was modern but traditional at the same time, also flip flops, umbrellas are provided The shower was powerful and the Molton brown toiletries were a nice touch Whilst we were here we had a tasting meal and the food was delicious, the coriander salad was amazing, we also had a traditional Thai massage which was great and set the relaxing tone for our stay here The hotel is within walking distance to the town and the temples near by but you can just jump in a Tuk Tuk if you fancy, by the restaurant they have little business cards with a map on them incase your driver isn't sure where to go so I just kept this in my purse whilst out and about I would night recommend going to the elephant nature park of staying in Chiang mai, it was the highlight of our trip"Reverie Siam: "Wonderful hotel"
"I'm still dreaming of going back here. We had an absolutely fabulous time; the space was beautiful, service impeccable and couldn't have asked for anything more. We stayed in one of the separate houses and it was lovely; everything decorated nicely, well maintained and spacious. The breakfast was the best in Thailand. All of the staff were so kind and helpful. We ate several times in the restaurant and had great food every time. Honestly, this was the best hotel we stayed at during our trip and we would go back to Pai just to visit again."The Hue House: "Amazing and Excellent Value"
"We look for a restaurant Close to our hotel and this was one of 6. It had excellent reviews and we wholly endorse that view. We were warmly greeted and looked after by friendly smiling staff. Who were keen to serve but not over attentive in doing so, just as we preferred. The choice of food was traditional/regional Vietnamese and was superb. Excellent appetisers and main courses This is a little gem and not that busy probably because it is accessed via a main office building reception. Located on the 10th floor it enjoys commanding views over the city. Highly recommended."Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Awesome experience"
"I have to say they have an exceptional stuff that makes this safari a great experience. They are very professional and they will do the best for your comfort. The tents are GREAT, its a very nice enviroment and eventhought you are in the middle of the jungle (right next to Yala National Park) the accommodation its very clean, safe and comfy. The shower is A MA ZInG... You can shower looking at the starts. The food is very varied and includes many options of Sri Lankan food. Spending the night itself is a great experience. In my case, i did two safaris, one at 3pm and otherone at 5am the next morning, i saw among others animals: Elephants, a Leopard, Buffalos, Deers, Eagles (Grey-headed fish eagle and White-bellied sea-eagle that i can remember of), Ceylon jinglefowl, Indian peafowl Cocodrile, tons of birds (Common kingfisher, Rose-ringed parakeet, among others), oh and of course diverse monkeys. Awesome experience, highly recommended."Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Gorgeous place"
We came up to the Lodge for supper - what a very special place, amazing views!! Supper was delicious most of the veggies served came from their very own garden, salad and beetroot, yum!! To be led back down the path to our car in the rain by the staff holding umbrellas and torches just added magic to a special evening!!Mudanwan Villa: "“ㄧ個令人非常放鬆,可以每天仰望藍天白雲、天馬行空、發呆的好地方”"
Stayed June 2016, traveled with family"
