Villa Song Saigon: "Great stay"
Villa Song Saigon is an amazing hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, and the staff, rooms, food all make it a great stop for tourists or businesspeople that need to be in the city. Great value for the money and a wonderful experience.Satri House: "A Beautiful Place"
"Quiet location. Lovely hotel with wonderful gardens, and secluded small areas with Buddha statues and ponds. The pool was beautiful to swim in. Very comfortable room. Helpful, charming staff with local knowledge."David’s Kitchen: "Wonderful birthday meal – amazing atmosphere and phenomenal food"
We had such a great evening at David's Kitchen last night. From the moment we walked in, the staff were so welcoming and friendly. They had decorated the table and left a card for me as we were celebrating my birthday. David, himself came and had a lovely chat with us, sharing a few of his stories. We noticed he made the effort to go around to most of the tables, making sure everyone was having a good evening! He gave us dinner and wine recommendations for our meal which we followed, and were not disappointed. My boyfriend had the pumpkin soup and the beef cheek. I had the spicy fish salad and the chicken breast with mushroom sauce. Both were delicious. I asked for extra sauce with my chicken, and the lovely waitress brought me out some and then brought me an extra helping without me asking for it, as she didn't want me to run out. They sang happy birthday whilst one of the gents played guitar and they gave me a little bunch of roses, which although slightly embarrassing was a really nice gesture. They went above and beyond to make us feel really special and we enjoyed every minute. It is a definitely one of the best, if not the best restaurant in Thailand and as such is more expensive than usual Thailand prices, but we are used to London prices and had we had this same meal back home we would have likely paid 4x the price and wouldn't have minded doing so. Thank you to the whole team it was a fantastic night that we won't forget in a hurry. The Hue House: "The best Hue food in HCMC"
The location is a bit hidden on top of office building on roof top. You will need to take the office lift to 10th floor. It is a bit hot in the afternooon, although they have fan there. Perfect for dinner. The food is super good. I love the bun bo hue.. the best I ever tasted. I came here twice this week. The place is still quiet, but I suspect won't be for long when the secret is out. The only area of improvement is to have better desert menu, especially sweet desert from central region.Labyrinth: "Love it"
Wanted to come here for the longest time, even before they earned their Michelin star, but for some reason I kept putting it off. It was a very pleasurable experience to have lunch at Labyrinth. Service was great and the food presentation on point. I was bummed that they discontinued the “Xiao long bao” dessert. This restaurant is like a savory version of Non Entree Dessert. Already planning another visit next month!Tugu Malang: "Relax in luxury"
For a long weekend we traveled to Malang and Mt. Bromo. Hotel Tugu was very well maintained, but the superb service from absolutely the best Indonesian staff. All the meals were presented artfully with an excellent balance of spices. We attended the once monthly cultural dinner with a Central Javanese tale told with music and dance. It was a great experience. The couples 4 hour spa and romantic dinner was a great way to relax on our final full day in paradise. Couple you must stay here if you visit Malang!Jing’s Residence: "An Asian Oasis of Calm"
Quietly unassuming plain wooden doors lead into this beautifully crafted small hotel and restaurant. We were offered tea and honey roasted dates as we sat down to register and then shown to an exquisite bedroom with with a warm wooden floor, huge bed on a wooden platform and a perfect bathroom. What a relief to find a room with no television but with lovely pictures, curtains and furniture. Tea comes in three loose leaf varieties and a bowl of tangerines was a nice touch. We dined in the beautiful restaurant on honey and ginger roasted chicken, stir fried beef and vegetables with rice and two glasses of really excellent Chinese wine. An unusual and wonderful small hotel set within the busking car free streets of this fascinating walled city.Manukan Island Resort: "Dive & Stay Package"
We stayed at this resort as part of our Scuba Diving + Stay package. We really love the island and also our Villa! Our villa is on the second floor with a nice beach view. Room is spacious with complete amenities. We don't mind the weak internet connection as we connected with nature more! We also love the local foods offered in their restaurants. As for their staff, they are accommodating and prompt on addressing our requests.Talabgaon Castle: "Kind and welcoming! Delicious meals"
"We absolutely loved our stay in The Talabgaon Castle. And we are thankful for the hospitality of all of the caretakers of this beautiful property. Very reasonable prices and a fabulous room! We chose to do a jeep safari and guided tour of this Rajasthani village and found it to be full of beautiful and kind people, who are friendly and generous, invited us for masala chai. Palak Paneer here is incomparable. All of our meals were delicious and made fresh with home grown vegetables and fresh milk. This was our first time visiting India and our stay at the Talabgoan Castle was one of the highlights of our trip! We felt very welcome and were sad to be leaving. This was a great place for us to rest between the crowded streets of Jaipur and bright and noisy Agra. Stayed January 2017, traveled with friends"
