Villa Song Saigon: "Heaven on earth"
We spent 3 nights here and loved every second of it. A short (complimentary) speed boat takes you into the city, good for a look around, but this hotel is perfectly out of the hustle bustle. Like a little oasis away from the noise. Not that theres anything wrong with noisy city hotels but having spent the rest of our trip admist the madding crowd we decided to try some peacefulness before heading home. Though Saigon was not our favourite destination on the Vietnam visit, Villa Song is most definitely our number one hotel! You won't be disappointed staying here. I wish I could stay forever! Thank you Villa Song.Samanea Beach Resort: "Hidden Paradise in Kep"
We have enjoyed our 4-night stay in this place for starting our trip in Cambodia. It's very calm and the place is superb. The staff and the manager very great and very helpful. You can ask them to organize anything for you (attractions, activities, transfer, tuktuk), they know reliable people and the prices are fair. The food at the hotel was also very good. You'll need a tuktuk to go to crab market or beach, it's a bit too far away to walk there, it's only 3USD however sometime you would prefer being able just to walk to head to a restaurant. Anyway we have enjoyed it and would have stayed a bit longerNam Bo Boutique Hotel: "Wonderful hotel in Can Tho"
Great hotel with lots of character. We stayed in the Nam Bo Suite which was enormous, comfortable and well equipped. Staff very helpful. We only stayed for one night - but wish it could have been longer.Tugu Bali: "Best location in Canggu"
"Tugu Bali offers the best location in whole Canggu. It is right opposite Old Mans Restaurant which is a huge meeting point for all the surfers and hip people in that area. The hotel is so close to the beach and has its own private garden area which overlooks the beach. The Tugu Totel has some impressive historical pieces of the Indonesian history. It is so interesting and the staff can even tell you something about it. When we arrived we got welcomed by the lovely staff which sat down with us to do the check in. While that happened we got served welcome drinks and ice cold towels. You can choose your own welcome drinks. We chose a refreshing watermelon and a fruit shake. I’ve got the biggest watermelon I’ve ever seen and I was surprised how good it tasted. The staff brought our luggage to our Rejang Suite which was upstairs. It is nestled within private gardens, small “rivers” and ponds of fish. The Suite is impressive and very spacious. It comes with a huge king sized bed. It is air conditioned and has asian décon and wooden furniture. Our room view was towards the gardens AND the ocean. The bathroom has a well pressured rain shower and another room also offers a spacious bathtub. The room gets minus points for its poor Wi-Fi and for the mosquitoes. Luckily the bed comes with a huge mosquito net. Make sure there aren’t any in there before you go to sleep. I really liked the traditional architecture and the wonderful gardens on the property. It is a perfect place to relax as it is really quiet everywhere. I only used the pool once to cool down at night and I loved it. During the day the pool is not crowded at all and invites you for a refreshing dip. The private garden area at the beach is also a highlight. It comes with huge sun lounges and beds. You can even have breakfast here. You can have breakfast everywhere and anytime you want. I fell in love with that service right away. From that garden area it is only a couple steps to the beach. The staff or security will watch your stuff, no worries. Be careful on the beach and keep in mind that the beach is mainly for surfing. Sometimes there are huge waves and strong currents. I really enjoyed that but if you aren’t a good swimming you should really think twice. During sunset the garden/beach area is also highly recommended. You can watch a beautiful sunset with a lot of privacy and in peace, while next to you a hundred people sit together on the grass of “The Lawn”. You are going to feel special on your spot. The Hotel comes with in-house restaurants which serve authentic Indonesian food to Chinese and Japanese cuisine. Another highlight is their own Japanese Restaurant called “Ji”. We were blown away by any dish. Every single dish was so delicious, from the Sushi to the tenderloin steak to the desserts. Oh and don’t forget to try the afternoon tea. We always enjoyed that on a big sun lounge on the private garden area next to the beach. You’ll served tasty Indonesian sweets. It’s a nice experience. I had a really relaxing stay there and can highly recommend it."MesaStila Resort and Spa: "Wonderful get away in central Java"
This is a wonderful resort set in the middle of a coffee plantation. A cool respite from the heat of Yogyakarta, the service in this resort is first rate, from the front desk to the restaurant etc. My wife indicated that the massage she received in the spa was one of the best she has ever had. The breakfasts were fabulous, the views awe-inspiring, and the arrange tour to the Borobudur temple was excellent. My only negative is that the fitness equipment was really second rate and not operational when I was there. But everything else was great!David’s Kitchen: "Fantastic experience"
The food, ambience and service are exceptional. The restaurant seems to be single handedly elevating the fine dining scene in Chiang Mai (one would expect a restaurant of this caliber in Bangkok or Hong Kong rather than Chiang Mai). Impressive to see David overseeing the entire operation and one can truly tell this is his passion project.Villa Song Saigon: "Incredible Stay"
"We greatly enjoyed everything about our stay at Villa Song. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the grounds and pool are immaculate. The private boat ride to the hotel was great fun, and the staff were fantastic. They knew us by name and accommodated our every request. The outdoor dining was some of the best dining of our entire trip. The food was superb - Vietnamese with modern flair, and very creative. We were impressed by every meal and drink. We came here to celebrate our honeymoon, and we felt like royalty the entire time. Cannot recommend enough! Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"Tugu Malang: "Awesome boutique hotel experience!"
It's almost like enough cannot be said about this place! It's one of those perfectly restored properties that exudes the charm of a distant past while maintaining luxurious travel experiences that match up to the best in the industry. Awesomely comfortable rooms beautifully decorated with colonial era antiques, amazing old-fashioned service, great food, stunning ambiance, and a great location to boot. Worth the price.Dewakan: "Amazing culinary experience"
We have such lovely dining experience there and feel really proud to have such good quality fine dining in Malaysia. We love how they tweaked the local ingredients in every single dish they served even for the cake we separately ordered for our friend (we were there for birthday celebration). The cake was so beautifully presented and the birthday girl was very happy and satisfied with the cake (jackfruit with creamcheese) and of course the entire dinner.Maduzi Hotel: "Perfect place"
A great summary of what you can expect in Bangkok - great place, wonderful people! Further the location also couldn't be better if looking for getting easily around in Bangkok. Overall perfect stay and for sure I will come back in due course.Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
