Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Wedding Here – Great Venue"

Review by: Desmondtan2015 | Source: Trip Advisor
My good friends had their wedding here and it was full of charm. The place reeks of romance and heritage, Food was so so but the place is wecloming overall.. They have a open patio and some of the guests danced in the rain, when it started pouring!

The River Resort: "Great place to stay."

Review by: Prop1947 | Source: Trip Advisor
"The River Resort lived up to our high expectations. At very short notice we requested our stay to be brought forward by one day and the emails were handled speedily and professionally. All our subsequent requests for services were similarly well handled and in a very friendly manner. The property is of a high standard and although we booked one of the cheapest rooms, its size and fittings were perfect for us. The bed was comfy, the a/c was efficient and Wi-Fi worked well over the whole resort. The restaurant comes in for special mention as it is exceptionally well run. It has a varied well priced menu, the food is beautifully prepared and we would particularly like to highlight Kraemer whose service level is impeccable and would not be out of place in a Four Seasons. A good place to spend a few days."

Maison Polanka: "An Oasis in Siem Reap"

Review by: Pamsie55 | Source: Trip Advisor
Maison Polanka is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. It is in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap but provides the most idyllic surroundings to escape to, after a full day in nearby Angkor Wat which is no more than 20 mins away. The staff are polite and efficient and have the ability to be on hand when needed, but always in the background. The food is first class and the beautiful outdoor dining area is surrounded by lush gardens and a pool and sun area. The rooms are well equipped, quiet , with good showers, and have good WiFi. As there are only 5 in total Maison Polanka has an intimate and warm feeling at all levels. The rooms each have their own large, private balcony with lounging furniture and ceiling fans that overlook the grounds. Don't be put off by the approach but be excited about what lies behind the gates. Look out for the friendly pet bunny that lives in the gardens.

Satri House: "Chic, vraiment très chic"

Review by: Jean Francois G | Source: Trip Advisor
"Tout ne respire que tranquillité, classe ! Tout est à sa place ! Tout est de bon goût ! Seul petit problème : le bruit. Même si l'hôtel est un havre de paix, autour il y a la ville qui vie, les coqs qui chantent, les chiens qui aboient. Mais il semble que cela soit un problème à la plupart des hôtels de la ville (charmante d'ailleurs)"

The Hue House: "Hue imperial palace in Sai Gon"

The Cabochon Hotel: "Romantic Colonial Hide-Away in the heart of Bangkok"

Review by: LolaPopo | Source: Trip Advisor
"Extremely jet-lagged my husband and I stepped out of our 20 hour flight from Los Angeles, and were met at the airport by the hotel's private driver. A 25 minute drive later, we were quickly checked into the lovely Cabochon. Immediately I felt better, surrounded by the cool marble, fragrant lush trees, and fascinating lobby decor of this renovated colonial mansion tucked down a small alley. We arrived rather early for check in, but they set us up with towels, exotic passion fruit cocktails and lounge chairs beside the roof-top pool and after a dip-- was immediately refreshed. Our room was simple, quiet, clean and romantic with high ceilings, and a columned balcony. Other than a few modern amenities (like powerful air conditioner, fast wifi, in room safe, and a TV we didn't use) it was like stepping into the past. The breakfast was delicious and we even had lunch there in between excursions. The proximity to the SkyTrain subway was very convenient and the fastest way to get around town, but the hotel is happy to call a taxi for you-- and give directions. As with everywhere in Thailand, the staff are extremely helpful, friendly and polite. You will be happy to tip for service. There are many extrodinary restaurants near by including ""Bo.Lam"" and ""Soul Food."" We throughly enjoyed our visit to Bangkok and it started with the Cabochon. Tip for all of South East Asia: Most people in the service industry speak english fairly well, but get a ""Directions Card"" from the hotel front desk and put it in your pocket for later-- it will have the hotel name/address written in Thai (not useless english) and is very valuable to get a taxi ride home at the end of your night out. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"

Satri House: "WONDERFUL STAY AT SATRI HOUSE"

Review by: Di L | Source: Trip Advisor
We (9 ladies) stayed at SATRI HOUSE 22 October for 3 nights. What an amazing tranquil place to stay. I cannot fault the service, the rooms, the breakfast or the staff. It was decorated with so many antiquities that everyday you discovered something new. It has 2 pools and lounge rooms that are devine. The Spa there was fantastic - had to use everyday. If you ever need some beauty and peace this is the place to stay - a very short walk or tuk tuk into town - a few minutes. I need to take my husband there to unwind. It really was a special place...would highly recommend!

Inle Princess Resort: "Amazing place"

Review by: MikeH98 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Just left after a couple of nights in a Lake View villa. What an amazing place, difficult to know where to start... Firstly, the location is incredible. Arriving by long tail boat is a unique experience and the whole resort is gorgeous. Secondly, the rooms are large and luxurious - lovely facilities including the outdoor shower. Thirdly, the staff are very friendly and the food is excellent. Finally, so much to do... we had two great half day trips on the lake and cycled to the vineyard on the last afternoon. Would definitely recommend a trip to Inle Lake"

Nimmu House: "Un pur moment de bonheur"

Review by: Duchalard | Source: Trip Advisor

Maison Polanka: "Amazing! A paradise!"

Review by: Lindsy C | Source: Trip Advisor
"This was my second visit to Madison Polanka and it did not disappoint. From the minute you walk through the gate, you are greeted with peace, tranquility and beauty. The staff greet you by name, go out of their way to be helpful in every way but are not intrusive. They are thoughtful to your every need. Whether it be a cold towel when you arrive back from town, a cup of tea after your massage or buying you goggles from town when you have forgotten yours. No request is too little. This is by far the best boutique hotel I have stayed at- ever! The food is above expectation. Breakfasts are served next to the pool and lunch and dinner are a'la carte. The fish amok is amazing. Free, well maintained bikes are available for a 15 minute cycle into town, which include water, locks and ponchos during the rainy season. There is also the Friends restaurant, Marum a 5 minute walk that has beautiful food and is a NGO project. The Khmer house is out of this world, and would definitely recommend for a special romantic getaway. The rooms inside the house are also all beautiful and would thoroughly recommend. I really can't say enough about this place. You must go! Special thanks to Cathy the manager and Lawrence."
