Villa Song Saigon: "Mattie Nason"
"Wonderful hotel with excellent service. We stayed in the Art room. I could sit on my bed with open windows and listen to the river, music from the restaurant and the feel the cool breeze after the evening rain. The extra cost for the larger room was worth it. Overall a good value. The food was excellent, breakfast was included and could be had any time during the day. The pool was a high light for me. On enough for serious laps and the perfect temperature. Open 27/7! All their recommendations were great too."Inle Princess Resort: "Waww tan difícil llegar y tan difícil querer irse!"
Stayed July 2016, traveled as a couple"Le Du Wine Bar & Restaurant: "impressive, upcoming"
Food is earnest with subtle fancies. Tight limited menu but impressive offerings with fusion cuisine at best. This establishment wins over many established restaurants.Rakkojae Seoul: "Really quite perfect"
There is really nothing to fault with Rakkojae. The rooms and their surrounds are quite beautiful - a pocket of timeless serenity in this busy city. The service is perfectly judged - always helpful, never intrusive. Both the Korean and Western breakfasts were good and substantial. We found it wonderfully quiet but, given thin walls/doors, this does require guests to be deeply respectful of others. This is not a place for loud voices or, fortunately, young children. Some reviewers and travel sites recommend one night in an hanok - this does not do the experience justice or allow you to even come near appreciating the essence of the place. We stayed 4 nights which felt about right, Even so, moving on to our next accommodation - a top-end Western-style conference hotel - was remarkably jarring. The Tiger’s Eye: "Love goes through your stomach"
"I was meeting an old friend to catch up on life, business, future and past. We had dinner at Tigers Eye and decided for the tasting menu with the carefully selected wine to accompany. Your experience is like tossed from the different sensations of Southeast Asia, to NY and Paris, still keeping that fine taste of Khmer cuisine and it's representation. Dinner conversations is truly accelerated by being at the right place, with right food and wine. Tim and his team makes Phnom Penh shine. See you soon again."Manda De Laos: "WOW! A must visit in Luang Prabang"
Dining in absolutely stunning surroundings and delicious food! A night to remember. This is a hidden gem and must visit in LaosJing’s Residence: "An Asian Oasis of Calm"
Quietly unassuming plain wooden doors lead into this beautifully crafted small hotel and restaurant. We were offered tea and honey roasted dates as we sat down to register and then shown to an exquisite bedroom with with a warm wooden floor, huge bed on a wooden platform and a perfect bathroom. What a relief to find a room with no television but with lovely pictures, curtains and furniture. Tea comes in three loose leaf varieties and a bowl of tangerines was a nice touch. We dined in the beautiful restaurant on honey and ginger roasted chicken, stir fried beef and vegetables with rice and two glasses of really excellent Chinese wine. An unusual and wonderful small hotel set within the busking car free streets of this fascinating walled city.Maison Polanka: "Refined, authentic, peaceful boutique hotel"
"Amazing stay at Maison Polanka. You step into a luxurious garden and a heaven of tranquility here. Everything is done to make you feel welcome; from the unpretentious French owners and their insights on the local life to the kind and attentive staff. The room (actually a fully detached house with a private outdoor living room) is decorated with incredible style. The food is worthy of any great restaurant in town. They helped us book experienced guides to visit the temples and had a Tuk tuk on stand-by for all our trips. A must stay place to visit the area! Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"Amata Lanna: "Great boutique hotel"
My husband and I stayed here for 7 nights. We loved the personal experience of staying in a smaller, boutique-style hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and we were always greeted with a smile. The room was large, traditional Lanna style with a very spacious bathroom. The daily breakfast was a fairly small selection but delicious and still something for everyone (cereal, toast, eggs, bacon, Asian-style porridge etc). We would definitely recommend staying here.Jings Residence: "Boutique hotel with real Chinese character"
This is a great boutique hotel in the heart of historic Pingyao. The staff are very enthusiastic and keen to please, though the standard of English is not the same as in the bigger tourist centres in China. The rooms are around a courtyard and have been well designed: they retain a lot of original features but have modern plumbing, wifi access and other conveniences. Very nice dinner served with some style. Thoroughly recommended.
