Sandat Glamping Tents: "Perfect"
Secluded oasis with beautifully designed tents. Excellent food and service as well. Location is gorgeous, just some minutes away from Ubud's center, near beautiful rice fields and jungle. The owner and all service staff were extremely polite. Hopefully I'll be back soon!Flower Island: "Amazing"
"This island is staggering. We arrived on the boat to a millionaires welcome, we were blown away and the only guests on the island, ill never have this again in my life. Make sure you do the pearl lunch trip it was fab. Also sleep in the lighthouse, we stopped on the 5th floor to witness the sunrise, ill never forget our stay here."Supanniga Home: "Nice stay in Khon Kaen"
We had the Velu Villa. It is a nice modern villa of 2 rooms. The garden of the Supanniga is very nice with a lot of squirrels (so nice) but too many mosquitoes (less nice)...the staff were friendly and breakfast good. We will go back there certainly.Rachamankha: "Perfect honeymoon hotel"
"We stayed here during our honeymoon in June 2015 and it was amazing, we loved every minute The hotel is situated in its own grounds so was very quiet and relaxing, when we were at the pool we were the only people so it was like having our own private pool The room was lovely and the bed was comfy, the decor was modern but traditional at the same time, also flip flops, umbrellas are provided The shower was powerful and the Molton brown toiletries were a nice touch Whilst we were here we had a tasting meal and the food was delicious, the coriander salad was amazing, we also had a traditional Thai massage which was great and set the relaxing tone for our stay here The hotel is within walking distance to the town and the temples near by but you can just jump in a Tuk Tuk if you fancy, by the restaurant they have little business cards with a map on them incase your driver isn't sure where to go so I just kept this in my purse whilst out and about I would night recommend going to the elephant nature park of staying in Chiang mai, it was the highlight of our trip"Misool Eco Resort: "Healthy Reefs = Happy Heart"
"WOW. On so many levels. 1) Diving is outstanding. This is how coral reefs are supposed to be. Vibrant, diverse, and CLOUDS of fish! An enforced and patrolled Marine Protected Area is actually possible beyond just a paper designation. And being located in the heart of the Coral Triangle at the epicenter of coral reef biodiversity doesn't hurt either! Dive guides and boat drivers are excellent. 2) The lodge itself is the result of the founders' clear vision -- to preserve the area by allowing people to experience it. While this should be the goal of any ecotourism operator, Misool does it exceptionally well. The lodge was built with reclaimed timber, and a lot of blood, sweat, tears, and love. Wastewater is broken down by beautiful plants. A solar array adorns the dive center roof. Food waste is composted. No plastic water bottles. No shrimp served (one of the most wasteful and destructive fisheries in the world). Accommodations are stunningly beautiful, built on stilts over the turquoise lagoon. Outdoor shower is the BEST -- showering by moonlight and stars is a real treat. 3) The staff is beyond outstanding. Friendly, helpful, genuine, and quick to smile and laugh. 4) The food is heavenly -- Indonesian style, fresh, and plentiful. 5) Dive center is extremely well thought out. Clearly, a diver and underwater photographer designed it. Plenty of space to suit up, rinse and hang wet dive gear. Dedicated camera rinse tanks. And terrific camera work space to service cameras, charge batteries, and keep cameras dry and protected. 6) Interesting manta ray and shark research was going on during our stay. Guests can contribute to the manta research by photographing manta identification shots during their dives. The manta research has been instrumental in getting the government of Indonesia to ban manta fishing. Again, Misool puts the ""eco"" in eco resort! 6) If there's a downside, it was that we had to leave! This is a place worth returning to over and over again."Slow Villas and Spa: "Julie & Co"
It's the best Villa Complex in Gili Air, though it's very expensive you get the most comfort on Gilies you can get there. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the meals and supplies are delicious.Villa Song Saigon: "Great place with a great view"
"We love this place, especially for breakfast or lunch or just a cup of coffee. Look out over the river and relax. We went here with my son of 6 months, they are very baby friendly. They provide a high chair and baby bowl. The staff is very helpful. The food is very good, we had breakfast there and that is great. Choice of different types of breakfast. For lunch we had fish and chips and a duck salad! Very good. Try it out!"Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Priceless!"
We were at the Golden Buddha Beach in January and we loved every minute of our stay! A big thank you to Valerie and to all the friendly staff who made our stay unforgettable. Now back to winter I wish I was still there. Amos4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "A Little Piece of Heaven"
My husband and I just spent 3 nights at 4 Rivers Floating Lodge. I wish we could have stayed another several days. The lodge is on a warm river which is delightful for swimming. The tent rooms are spacious, each with it's own private bath, complete with double sinks. The beds are comfortable. It is very quiet and the sunsets and night skies are awesome to see. Anna, the manager/owner is a wonderfully warm person, she learned our names immediately and checked in on us often to see if we needed anything. There are a number of day trips that one can do, we did the "Lost in the Mangroves" and the "Fireflies" excursions. We thoroughly enjoyed both. The staff are very friendly and do a great job. This is "glamping" at it's best! We especially appreciated the fact that the Lodge is doing a ton to support the local community (employment, sustainable tourism, educating the youth about the importance of nature, helping to build a new school building, recycling plastics and numerous other projects). We'd go back in a heartbeat! Thank you 4 Rivers Floating Lodge for a wonderful time...Flower Island: "Perfect away from it all"
From the journey to the Island and everything during our stay to the time we had to leave was simply amazing. The fantastic approach by boat, the welcome, the staff, the food, the serenity, the views, snorkelling, canoeing, the beach, the bar, the rooms and the dog. We absolutely loved the whole experience. No TV, WiFi, unless at the reception, traffic, hustle and bustle. A most perfect few days of sheer basic bliss in simple true rustic charm. Total chill out. We will be back, for longer next time!
