Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Fantastic! A must to be here"
This camp is one of my best experience during my journey in Sri Lanka. I can really recommend this place. Everything is very good organized, everyone from staff is very friendly and the food is fantastic! Best food ever in whole Sri Lanka. Price is absolute justified. Safari trip was very nice too, staff is very competent, even on safari are drinks and snacks organised!Tugu Bali: "Amazing holiday at beautiful hotel"
"Had a great week at Tugu over Christmas with family. The hotel is decorated with Balinese furniture and art, including in the rooms. Food was very good; nice choice at both the restaurant and for in-room dining. Rooms were first-class; we had a villa with private pool and it felt incredibly private. Service from the hotel staff was also excellent with great attention to make our stay very relaxing; all our needs were met including those from our impatient 5 yr old. Would definitely stay there again if we head down to Bali."Villa Song Saigon: "Saigons Gem"
This hotel sited amongst the old colonial French homes of District 2 is worth the short drive from the centre .... surrounded by lush gardens, riverside dining, pool and spa all make this a gem to stay in away from the hustle and bustle of Saigon4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Gorgeous setting with friendly staff"
After staying at an eco-lodge with few amenities, 4 Rivers was exactly what we needed. The tents are large and comfortable, and the staff are very attentive. We love having our own little private part of the dock to sunbathe or jump in the river and the scenery was absolutely stunning. We had a lot of fun on the excursion to a nearby waterfall and on a sunset cruise down the river. Our only complaint was that the food was a little hit or miss. We had an excellent meal the first night we were there, but we weren't as impressed with some of our other meals. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would absolutely recommend it to those looking for a luxurious haven in the middle of the jungle.Reverie Siam Pai: "Faultless"
"My partner and I stayed at this establishment for 4 nights in October and I am so happy that we chose to come here. This was the end of trip through Vietnam and Cambodia and we both agree that this hotel was one of our highlights. We initially chose the hotel as it is slightly out of Pai which suited as it meant we could dip in and out of the town when we wanted. We had a mountain view room which was gorgeous. The room is decorated in such a way that you feel comfortable straight away and we loved the eccentric little pieces dotted around and attention to detail. The shower was amazing! The actual ground were also amazing and so lovely to walk round. The hidden pavilion is lovely in the daytime to sit by the river, and lit up by fairy lights in the evening it is a beautiful and romantic retreat. But the real thanks must go to the staff. The girls that served our meals were so polite as friendly, they really would go out of their way to help you. The boys that drove the shuttle into town always had a smile on their faces. And without a doubt a huge thank you to the cocktail mixologist boys who made out stay. Their signature cocktails are absolutely amazing and the effort they put into them is second to none. They deserve an award for their skills! Thank you Reverie for a truly memorable stay. And if you are considering whether to stay here all I can say is just book it, you won't regret it."Tugu Bali: "Very lovely"
"A true TUGU experience. Peaceful, good service. They have a lawn area with direct access to the beach.Turn left and the beach goes on forever and it's a clean beach too (a rarity in Indonesia). Anyway the room are beautiful, it has a lovely garden and as usual the hotel is full of antiques and artifacts. To note: The rooms upstairs have access via a spiral staircase, it quite steep. (this might be a consideration for some if you have mobility restrictions or don't like heights) The restaurant was good but pricey for the quality (I'm used to Jakarta price/quality ratio)"Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Amazing place"
Tiger mountain lodge is amazingly relaxing, an oasis of beauty and organisation and fantastic food in the midst of a fabulously beautiful environment. The chef is splendid, the walks wonderful and the people and enthusiasm for the locale and the villages something to behold. There is a surprising amount to do and you are also on the verge of the Annapurna range and its extraordinary trail.Mrauk U Princess Resort: "Fabulous Food in a Fabulous Setting"
We were not staying here but came to look at the resort and eat a late lunch after four hours of visiting ruins on bicycles. We were hot and sweaty so definitely appreciated the cool, open restaurant. Delicious drinks. Delicious homemade bread, along with chilled cucumber soup, chicken sate, banana leaf shrimp salad, potato curry, and ice cream for dessert. Excellent service provided by Kyaw Soe Paing and the staff he was training. An expensive treat to ourselves but well worth it!Nimmu House: "A memorable visit, I won’t forget"
"I came to Nimmu House in July 2015. I landed in Ladakh and went straight to the hotel. HOTEL MANAGEMENT: The caretakers/managers were two of the most wonderful people: a young Caucasian woman and her Indian husband. I came on the day of the festival so no one else was around. They welcomed me, got me food, drink and told me their story and about the hotel. They also took wonderful care of me, letting me how much I should eat, drink and sleep before my journey to Nubra Valley the next day. They also came by to check in on me, filling up my water so I could get the full 4ltrs. HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS: I stayed in a tent, and I wholly recommend it. While some people in previous reviews complaint of hot water issues, I would say to them: calm down. This is in Northern Northern India, in a small village. Yes they will try and accommodate you with warm water, but you knew what you signed up for when you decided to gallivant to this side of the world. I got warm water for the most part, but took quick showers so not to use up too much water. I also showered at odd hours which is why I benefited. The actual tent is spacious. It has a huge bed that is utterly comfortable, a nice space for shower and little study area at the front. Couldn't have asked for anything more. In addition the courtyard is wonderful. I was journal-ling at the time and wrote a lot about sitting in the courtyard and hearing the thumping of apricots on the ground, the little brook that lined the courtyard, the hammocks, it really was magical during the day and evening. LOCATION: If you are looking to assimilate at a reasonable height, this is the place. It has clean air, fresh water, open spaces etc. Its a bit out from Leh but its probably best to leave the dusty loud city/town at arrival and head somewhere quieter. FOOD: I love their use of apricots in everything. While quite a bit of food -- felt like American portions -- it was very welcoming to get such a lovely meal when I arrived (even though they did not have me down for lunch) and prepared so fast. Dinner was wonderful, they sat me next to two people they thought I'd get along with and we did! We talked all night about our lives while sipping on local Chang beer and eating delicious food. I would say it was a bit standard in terms of type of food -- didn't really get local Ladakhi food -- but I was only there one day. OVERALL: Don't miss it. If you start your trip or end on it, this is the place to be. Room Tip: Get a tent, and spend some time in the courtyard on the hammocks See more room tips Stayed July 2016, traveled solo"Maduzi Hotel: "Small, elegant, beautiful"
"This was the first time that I chose to stay in BKK at a smaller hotel. The choice is so varied and cheap in BKK that one is literally spoilt for choice. This one costs a little bit more but for that you essentially get a beautiful apartment like hotel room with every modern amenity and design feature. The breakfast is a pure joy in that it has the standard breakfast fair that most hotels do. The difference is in the quality and presentation. I felt loved and looked after by the staff who in quintessential Thai ways went out of their way to make me feel at home. Stayed December 2016, traveled solo"
