Samanea Beach Resort: "Wonderful setting"
We stayed for 4 nights, and could not fault it, the staff were friendly and helpful, Jonathan one of the hotel managers was very helpful in his knowledge of Kep and the surrounding area. We only ate one evening meal in the restaurant but it was exceptional and the choice of breakfast menus good. The restaurant and bar staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was fantastic and we loved the bathroom. We came in each day to a clean room with fresh towels everyday. Even down to the security at the hotel entrance all the staff were very friendly. The setting was lovely and peaceful, and the grounds kept in tip top condition. Lovely to walk along the pier at sunset. We could not fault this hotel and I would highly recommend it.Rachamankha: "Breakfast, service, and spacious rooms"
"I had horrible allergies here, but I still think that this hotel deserves a 5 star rating. I loved the 3 course breakfast (probably too much food but prepared us for some long days!) Pool is huge and relaxing although we never saw any other guests in the water, and it closes early. A perk (for me) is that this hotel is designed for adults, and there's beautiful art everywhere. Housekeeping was always available, and the location is extremely close/walkable to shops, markets and Wats while maintaining a secluded feeling."Supanniga Luxury Bangkok River Cruises: "Nice and Cozy"
"I went on the cruise in late winter (beginning of Jan), still not that hot and humid. Went on the cruise at Their small eating room which is nice location and nice traditional Thai food. Cruise Staff is really nice and smiley, drinks are good. Fantastic decoration. Love it!!"Villa Mathis: "Le paradis"
"Un cadre exceptionnel, un accueil parfait, un calme olympien, un décor merveilleux...tout est parfait. Nous n'aurez plus envie de sortir de l'établissement. Le restaurant est génial. Idéal pour vous faire chouchouter en amoureux."Tugu Malang: "Excellent service!!!"
"The Tugu hotel is a hotel, but at the same time it's also a museum. We stayed here for 2 nights and we had an amazing experience. Because of the low season we could choose our room. The staff was incredible. No question was ever too much to answer and everything was arranged with a smile. Every staff member knew our name and the small talks during breakfast and dinner gave our stay a personal touch. When you stay at the hotel you get a free tour of the hotel/museum and a good explanation of all the artifacts. For us this was a nice bonus, because it helps you understanding some of the history of Java. There are spa facilities and we've booked the 4 hour couples retreat. It was very relaxing: massage, bath with fresh rose petals, scrubbing, manicure, pedicure, washing en drying our hair, tea,... and after all that (really took 4 hours) there was a 4 course dinner, again with some personal touches (all included in the price). What can I say about the food? One word: super! There are so many things to choose from for breakfast and dinner. Local food, street food, western food, chinese food,... Last but not least is the Tea Time Experience in the afternoon. Every day between 16pm and 17pm (or 18pm) you can enjoy a nice cup of tea with fresh made Indonesian snacks. If you stay at the hotel you should certainly try it once. Kept all things in mind this hotel is one of our top 3 of all the hotels we've been in the world! I certainly hope to visit this hotel in the future during one of our next journeys. Thanks to the staff for making this a very pleasant stay. Joni & Jens (J&J)"Reverie Siam Pai: "A distinguished retreat amongst the charm of Pai"
"An excellently laid out design and interior, which evokes an aristocratic air of elegance. A few friends and I came here mid afternoon after a little sightseeing and were treated with great care and attention by the staff. After feasting over a few shared Chef and Mediterranean Vegetable boards, we all left in the highest of spirits."Kenanga Hotel: "Beautiful, serene – loved every minute of our stay here!"
"The first thing that strikes you when you enter the resort is the beauty of the place. Its a narrow entrance which first leads to the pool on one side and the restaurant on the other, with a huge rice field in front... its a beautiful feeling. Our room was on one side of the pool, and once again was on a rice field. Very very pretty!! We had a nice patio, the room was a good size, comfortable and the bathroom was clean and spacious. The food was good, but the cozy setting made the meal very special. The staff was very polite, and efficient. The manager was very helpful, and really helped us get the most of our time in Ubud. She had a lot of helpful tips for us. The resort is located about 40 mins walk from Ubud centre, which means that its quiet and not hectic at all. There is a shuttle every hour to take you to the city centre, so its quite convenient. I only wish the shuttle operated past 5 pm, but there are plenty of taxis to take you to the centre. I would recommend Kenanga to anyone who wants to visit Ubud."Satri House: "Chic, vraiment très chic"
"Tout ne respire que tranquillité, classe ! Tout est à sa place ! Tout est de bon goût ! Seul petit problème : le bruit. Même si l'hôtel est un havre de paix, autour il y a la ville qui vie, les coqs qui chantent, les chiens qui aboient. Mais il semble que cela soit un problème à la plupart des hôtels de la ville (charmante d'ailleurs)"VILLA SONG SAIGON: "Best Experience in My 6 Week Asian Travels"
"Amazing Boutique Hotel that sits along the peaceful Saigon River, beautiful colonial style rooms, amazing views, personal staff, great pool, and excellent restaurant. I never wanted to leave (no kidding). The staff were so good to me it felt like they were my family. I had another month of travel upon leaving and I knew no hotel would match this. I would say it was one of the top 2 best experiences in my 30 years of travel. I want to give credit to the amazing staff (top to bottom). The Director of Operations Ta Thanh Thuy was so helpful: from future travel/hotel tips to aid with some personal business of mine (all this while being wonderfully pleasant and thoughtful). Ms. Nhu, at the front desk was the anchor. She helped me with all needs: tours, food recommendations, travel tips, and taking care of a Fed Ex package that wouldn't have gotten to me if not for her hard work. Equaling as pleasant and helpful was my friend Ms. Tuyet. Kevin, the chef, gave me wonderful advice for touring the city, and dazzled me with his Michelin level food. And finally the charming and lovely Ms. Quy. I enjoyed her big smile every day and our nice conversations. The rest of the staff were equally great, but I don't have the time or space to write on it. An unforgettable experience. I hope I'm back soon. "Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Beautiful place to stay"
"We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night holiday stay at the Blue Mansion. The place is just beautiful and steeped in history. Our 'Scholar' room was spacious and secluded although the food court noise from next door is very loud at night. Earplugs provided by the hotel fixed it to some extent, but book a room on the other side if wanting an early night! The mansion is ideally located close to food outlets, markets and it's walking distance to the Fort and other historic attractions. Pool area was small but ideal at the end of hot days. Indigo restaurant on site was a pure delight. Breakfast was interesting - try the duck and noodles for a treat! Room service drinks were reasonably priced and staff were very helpful and friendly. The biscuits and rice cake surprises in the room each day, with a hand-written greeting on a leaf, were an additional delightful touch. We loved our stay here. Stayed April 2017, traveled as a couple"
