Tugu Bali: "Thursday cultural event"
Thursday I went with some friends to see the Balinese dances and the truth is that very well worth it. We had a drink and we could be there the whole show. We did not stay or eat dinner but everything had to be very careful painting and thought. Highly recommended dances!Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Spa/restaurant/beach"
This place is one of a kind. The location is beautiful. The seafood is excellent with authentic Kerala food. Our room is awesome and very rustic. The beach was beautiful. We were surrounded by wild life and everything was wonderful.Locavore: "Our second time, our second amazement"
"We went to Locavore for lunch, and again, were amazed by the whole experience. As soon as we walked in, we spotted all these amazing chefs working around the tiny kitchen, like ballet dancers except for it was their hands who were at the core of the coregraphy. Except for the ""bienvenue"", there was not a single dish that was in the menu when we visited the first time. And we therefore embarked on a 100% new cullinary adventure. We went for the 7-dishes menu, and all of you reading this and planning to try, please do the same. Yes that's a lot, but you may eat less in the evening if you are there for lunch, or just go for a walk afterwards if you dine there. Portions are perfectly sized, and there was not a single bite when we thought ""hum, pretty good"". It was a ""that's unbelievably good""!!!! We went for a very reasonably priced Tempranillo and it did perfectly match everything. We are lucky enough to often have the opportunity to eat at very good restaurants. Locavore offers one of the very very best value-for-money experience. If not the best. In our opinion that is. Make sure you book several weeks ahead if for dinner. Slightly less for lunch. Just find a way to go!"Manda De Laos: "Tasty of Lao Royal Authentic cuisine with nature view of Heritage Lotus Pond"
The food at Manda de Laos was super great and amazing, nice ambiance with friendly service by lovely staffs at the restaurant. I think the price is suitable on what you get. If I have chance to visit Luang Prabang, I definitely go back to this place. Lastly, I love banana ice cream :)Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Priceless views and amazing service"
"You will feel like you have entered a different world altogether when you arrive at Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge. Firstly, you are treated to the most amazing views, which you never tire of even after spending days in Nepal. The Annapurna range in all its glory can be truly appreciate from the lodge, and you are not to miss the stunning picture opportunity of the mountain reflection on the infinity pool. The lodge itself is very comfortable and relaxing, you can do as much or as little as you like. The staff are incredibly attentive - each and every one of them. Marcus, the resort MD is so warm and friendly and so knowledgeable when it comes to Nepal, and most other things that it makes for a very wonderful stay all around. I would love to return soon, next time perhaps with the entire family when it is winter and there is good excuse to sit in the common area around the fire :) Best, Pramila"Maisons Wat Kor: "Gorgeous place to relax and have great food"
Gorgeous place, with tastefully decorated traditional Khmer houses around a pond filled with waterlillies. Excellent food, cosy chillout corners and a saltwater pool. The place is run by a wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable Cambodian couple. It is a 10 minute tuktuk ride from the town center, or a pleasant walk.Cuca: "Gastronomic delight"
A womderful find in Bali nestled in a beautiful setting. The food is brilliant and service is excellent. Its mostly sharing/tapas styled food with a twist. Sophisticated dining in a relaxed environment!Discover Muang La | Visit Laos | Luxury & Boutique Hotel: "Excellent"
Muang La Lodge is one of a kind--I stayed only two nights, but wish I could have stayed two weeks. The staff are charming and attentive, and have a way of foreseeing your every need. The food is fantastic--particularly the five-course dinners--and the service is top-notch. Highly recommend taking a nice soak (or fifty) in the hot spring, and making the trek to see the local villages in the hills. The rooms are comfortable and wifi is available, but let's be honest: those emails from your horrible boss can wait, and you can binge watch Netflix when you're not in paradise. In short, one of the most positive and relaxing stays I've had in a long time. So treat yourself--we all know you deserve it.Maduzi Hotel: "Suprising Find"
"Another Small Luxury Hotel booking . Arriving at the hotel I was a little worried . The entrance is unassuming and you walk past a small bar area to a very small reception area but the suite was great when we went upstairs. Large bedroom , separate lounge/ work area Good bathroom with jacuzzi and wet room shower , separate toilet and separate dressing area / walk in wardrobe, free mini bar with soft drinks and water and a great coffee machine. Only dislikes in the room were the quite fierce aircon which was difficult to manage, the glass screen door on the toilet ( not as private as one would wish) and also the bed ,as in many Thai hotels ,was on on the firm side . Breakfast was delicious and went on until 2.30 . Free tea and coffee available all day in the bar such a welcome after a day trekking around . The staff were able to organise an evening out suggesting a great alternative after a first choice was unavailable . They were unobtrusive but available whenever needed Situation just off the junction with Sukhumvit is perfect for BRT and MRT . Would definitely use the place again . Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"Supanniga Luxury Bangkok River Cruises: "Excellent!"
Atmosphere and food was absolutely worth the price tag of the cruise. Staff and everyone working was friendly and did a excellent job.
