Sandat Glamping Tents: "Resourcing Heaven"
We visit Ubud once in a while and it's getting difficult to find "The Place". Surprisingly we found the little gems. The reception is welcoming. We stead in one of the tents with private pool. Very nicely decorated. We can feel the Latin European touch. Warm and cosy. Employees are well trained and discret. Breakfast is freshly made at the premises. The linen is of very good quality. The bamboo structure of the restaurant and Yoga hall is splendid. I preferred to do my yoga at my private pool side. We used the shuttle car to go in/out.. Drivers are very Helpful. They love people and their work. Well done to the European owners and success.Talabgaon Castle: "WOW!"
When we all arrived, everybody said "Oh my God"! This place is really stunning & a great watering hole if you want to get away from it all. There is a camel cart ride to the village & an adjacent school which you can visit - I was invited in but, sad to say, on one spoke English!!! Be aware of lots of mini power cuts, though. English level of staff is poor.Misool Eco Resort: "Amazing stay in paradise"
"I have spent 9 days in the Misool Eco Resort in November 2106 and it was truly paradise. I have been to Raja Ampat before to resorts in the northern part, but this resort and diving are on a next level. The resort is great and very spacious compared to other resorts. The rooms and facilities are amazing, but what stands out is the staff and their commitment to make your holiday amazing. Yes, this resort is more expensive, but in my view worth it. The rooms, food and other facilities are super. The diving is next level, although norther Raja Ampat has also similar and amazing dive sites, the dive sites near this resort have much less people and most often you have dive sites just for your selves. Another big difference are the mantas, I have seen them in northern Raja Ampat and the Maldives, but here I saw almost always the larger oceanic mantas and they not only cam much closer, they were not only in the known cleaning station site, but we same the almost every day on other dives as well. Also, the muck ( diving is great, the amount of e.g. pygmy seahorses is amazing, etc. The dive guides and boat crew are super friendly and professional and actively search for what you want to see. My tip would be to try the new dive scooters and this was a lot of fun. Furthermore, their commitment to protect the reefs, fish, mantas and sharks is impressive. I would highly recommend to go to this resort if you like to fully relax and dive in paradise, thanks again to Sue, Marc and your entire staff for an amazing stay at your resort."Maduzi Hotel: "Our Bangkok oasis"
"We have stayed here numerous times and we'll keep coming back for more. The location is second to none, perfectly located right near the ever so efficient BTS, ASOK station, yet you feel as though you're In your own little oasis once you walk through the gates. (Do yourself a favour and buy a 'Rabbit Card' so you can jump on and off the transport system with ease and enjoy all that this vibrant city has to offer). The staff are always happy to assist with anything you require (btw, they won't accept any tips, it's their policy - no matter how hard you try.) The rooms are spacious, clean and beautifully appointed. The mini bar is included in the price of the room too, another quirky yet welcome Maduzi offering. Breakfasts are delicious! We almost always get the Japanese set breakfast. You can enjoy this in their fabulous restaurant where you'll also have a buffet to pick from, all inclusive. Or, you can order it to your room and they'll put together a buffet selection for you. Yes, this is a small boutique hotel with only 40 rooms and 7 levels, no pool or laundry (you can get the hotel to organise your washing for you) but the beautiful ambiance all around, central location and friendly staff make up for the lack of amenities. We'd choose this place over any of the big guys any day!"Tandjung Sari: "Friendly and helpful to our group of eight!"
"We - an extended family group - ended up eating here two nights running. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and provided us a table at short notice. The food was excellent on both occasions and the service charming. The structure of the restaurant is atmospheric and traditional with pipes and piano being played at various stages. We were grateful to the staff who allowed us to have a shower on the second visit before we ate- particularly appreciated as we had been on the beach all day and our next stop was Denpasar Airport for a prolonged flight programme to London Heathrow."Inle Princess Resort: "Classic Architecture. Best Service."
"It was my first time at Inle Lake and I selected to stay here because my Myanmar friend used to talk about it as the resort also runs a non-profit organisation called 'Inle Heritage', so I think there is a good sign of people's minds here. The location is in the beginning of Inle Lake, so very peaceful. You have to take a long-tail boat farther to explore the lake. The architecture is in local style and each unit is large, so you definitely have plenty of space to enjoy, esp. when you come in a group. They have souvenir shop which sells local products and books. I was eager how those products are made and they toured me around a little area where they showed how local people live and products they make for a living. Quite interesting. The room is beautiful and you can see the sunset from your room. Morning time is SUPER calm. You will get recharged here for sure. The best thing must be FOOD. The chefs cook not only local Inle or Myanmar food, but also international menus / European menus and they did a great job. I personally like the baguette served hot for every meal. Also, tomatoes here are very fresh. I saw them planting on a floating garden around the lake. Other facilities like swimming pool, lobby, communal spaces are big. There are recreational areas around the resort. Staff members are caring. They accompany you for whatever you want. With the smile on their faces, they are genuinely generous. I've heard many of them working here for 15-20 years. Last, they have their own jetty in which you board the long-tail boat to anywhere in the lake. The jetty is well-designed. I am considering revisiting this resort again with family in the wintertime."Les Maisons Wat Ko: "Romantic place"
Book at Battambang Resort, Battambang. No Reservation Costs. Great Rates. Great Availability · Special Offers. Comfortable stay, away from the town, but good for exploring the countryside. Very good food at the restaurant.Sea Dance Resort: "Friendly and welcoming"
"This is our second trip to Koh Samui and I would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were friendly and were always available to help and give advice. Breakfast was good and the restaurant served a broad selection of Thai and international dishes throughout the day. One night each week the hotel hosts a cocktail and buffet evening. This was a good opportunity to meet the owner and staff in a casual environment. The individual rooms were clean with large bathrooms and a small private pool out front. The hotel provided robes and indoor slippers as well as flip flops for use around the resort. The main pool was quiet and had a lovely view of the beach and out to sea. The hotel was on a quiet road and some may find it too far from amenities other than a 7-11 close by however, we loved that this hotel was relaxed and felt exclusive. It took us around 20 minutes to walk to the busier main beach area. Overall we had a lovely stay and felt at home immediately.
"We are staying at Tugu Bali at present, and it is beautiful. We visit Bali often for family reasons, have stayed in lots of hotels and villas, but now I think we will look no further than Tugu for future visits. What took us so long?"
