Bali Jiwa Villa: "A dream becomes reality"
"The Bali Jiwa Villas are one of the most beautiful places I ever been. Apart of the beauty of the location - situated in the middle of rice field ( without destroying them ) the Villas are very carefully furnished. The wonderful furnishing taste signs of deep understanding the story of Bali. The charm of this place is simply stunning. Big bathroom ( indoor ad outdoor ), wonderful bed and sheets, enlightened by big windows and the wonderful pool just in front of every villa, very clean and just the way it should be. The staff is amazing and the food is typically balinese - very tasty and home made with a lots of attention. A real place to calm down, to enter in the deep soul of Bali - and a place where service is written in very big big letters.."Tugu Bali: "The most beautiful hotel in the world"
"I've been so lucky in my life to have stayed in many beautiful hotels, but this is by far my favourite and the most beautiful hotel in the world! The hotel feels so authentic - it's beautifully rustic but still luxurious. The staff are so so friendly, but still very polite and professional - I never once felt as though they were invading my personal space. The food at this hotel is pretty much my benchmark for amazing food - loved every single dish I tried at Tugu. Also loved their relaxed attitude to dining - they would do private dining for us which we could have in the room, on the beach, on the lawn, in the private rooms... pretty much where ever we wanted, it was so lovely. Tugu has so much charm - my husband and I felt totally at home hear and can't wait to go back... someday!"Labyrinth: "Tasting Menu not to be missed"
We thoroughly enjoyed the tasting menu with the wine pairing. Definitely worth the visit. Service was great and each course was well explained. Restaurant was a little difficult to find in the shopping centre with limited signage but a delightful evening - would recommend.Satri House: "The ONLY place to stay in Luang Prabang"
Well best kept secrets are probably best kept as otherwise next time you go the place is full! BUT I cannot let my recent stay go un-reviewed, the team at Satri deserve praise. Thank-you to Gianni, Keo and the team for a perfect stay and a wonderfully managed event. We had 40people with us, most staying at Satri but all attending dinner on the last night of our stay and despite the potential hassles from indecisive weather Gianni put together a magical evening, with impeccable service from his team. The hotel is truly a beautiful house, a once royal residence it oozes class, elegance and a sense of history. Travel for me must provide a sense of place and Satri provides it in spades, from the delightful Madame Mem (a lovely local lady who shares her stories of Luang Prabang) to the décor, location and kind attention from the staff sharing their local secrets on what to see, do and where to dine...I felt like I was sharing a home rather than staying in a hotel. The epitome of boutique hotel experience, book now before it becomes unbookable!!!Hotel Tugu Malang: "Fantastic museum that functions as a splendid hotel"
"The Hotel Tugu in Malang is truly a gem that is worth visiting when in the area. The high tea is amazing in a colonial setting with a huge array of teas and coffees and also the accompanying delicacies. I highly recommend going on the art tour with Manda, the Guest Recognition Officer. She eloquently explained the most important pieces of art and gave us a nice tour through the whole hotel. In the evening we went to the (cigar) bar, where there's an impressive selection of cocktails, wines and spirits. The bartender was a bit disconnected, but made good cocktails. The breakfast was the only part we were able to enjoy at the restaurant, since we went somewhere else for dinner. Again, a huge selection from which you can choose your preference (healthy options included). Certainly worth visiting, especially for the price they offer. I can even highly recommend the Presidential Suite for 15,000,000 that Manda was so kind to show us. What an impressively sized bed it has, wow! John from the reception was extremely kind too! I almost forgot the most amazing part: even though it's located right in the heart of the city and next to a busy road, the rooms are completely quiet and you enjoy a relaxing sleep."The Island Lodge: "Really nice hotel"
I stayed two nights the beds are hard there is exlant shower and bath but hot water is very scares morning no hot water evening is ok but the bath is to big and you carnt fill it the room around is great coffe mashine exlant the pool is refreshing and the Surna dose not work the restraint was exlant food is very goodThe Tiger’s Eye: "Creativity"
Great to see Chef Timothy's creativity back. After trying The Common Tiger, good to see him in his new address at The Tiger's Eye. Different venue, but same vibe, same team around him, same effort to source locally and to shake the established dining scene in Phnom Penh. A must try for connoisseurs!Nam Bo Boutique Hotel: "Simple hotel with excellent service"
This is a small hotel of 7 rooms overlooking the Mekong river. Our suite had 3 rooms all comfortable and well kept. There is no pool. The hotel restaurant is on the top floor and has spectacular views across the Mekong Delta. What sets this hotel apart though is the excellent staff who clearly enjoy having you as a guest.MesaStila Resort and Spa: "Amazing"
"very good place with amazing views and facilities. The resort crews were also very helpful and kind to support and assist us during our stay there. I stayed there as domestic guest and it was still worth to stay. Don't miss the coffee tour and local batik making!"Tugu Malang: "The most incredible place"
"We stayed here for 1 night and had the best experience! The food was delicious, service was impeccable, the room was spacious, clean, beautiful! I had to attend a business dinner and the hotel had kindly assisted me with ironing and pressing my clothes at such short notice and on time. If you are after a 5 star authentic cultural experience in Malang, this hotel delivers it on point and more. Stayed March 2017, traveled on business"
