Reverie Siam: "One of my favourite hotels of all time"
"Stayed three nights in a villa and absolutely loved it. The grounds are beautifully manicured and the entire resort is just so peaceful. The riverside bar is stunning and serene, and the cocktails and wine list are excellent and well priced. The villa was lovely, done in a colonial style with a private outdoor patio, bathroom with glass ceiling and walls and a large jacuzzi, comfortable beds with high quality linen, to and DVD player, and basically anything else you could need. Staff were friendly and efficient. The included breakfast was of a very high standard and you could choose two meals cooked to order each morning. There is a free tuk tuk into town on demand which was useful for going in for the night markets etc. Despite being the most expensive place in town, it is not expensive by western standards and represents very good value. My only suggestions for improvement would be to allow food by the pool, and perhaps to even develop a poolside snack menu, so that people can enjoy some fries or another snack by the pool with their beers and cocktails! Also the food at the restaurant, whilst delicious, often came at different times to my dining partner whilst it should have been served together. These are minor points however and I would recommend this place to anyone, and will undoubtedly return next time I am in Thailand, as I have never found a resort as relaxing and peaceful as this before. Stayed February 2017"RACHAMANKHA: "Beautiful, elegant hotel with amazing, friendly staff"
"One of my best hotel experiences ever, and I travel a lot for work and pleasure. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff made sure that everything was perfect for us. This small hotel has a very unique, authentic feel to it. I believe it only has about 26 rooms, so it has a small, elegant character. After spending several weeks site-seeing around Thailand, this was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Some highlights were the pool, which was never crowded and the hallways and sitting area at night which had amazing incense burning. The professional pictures of the hotel don't do it justice "GLENBURN TEA ESTATE: "Outstanding"
"We stayed 3 nights for a family birthday celebration. We were 5 adults. It was a wonderful respite after travelling the rough roads of Sikkim. I agree with the earlier reviews and experiences and won't repeat the wonderful activities available. We did the walk to the river which we really enjoyed. On arrival (after being met with cool refreshing flannels and homemade lemonade) I lay down on a wooden bench by river and within seconds a lovely man appeared with pillow and large cushion for bench. I enjoyed a snooze while lunch on the barbecue. Wonderful care and our needs were met before we realised we had a need. Lovely lovely people. We chose not to dine communally but enjoyed wonderful candlelit family dinners on the terrace of our bungalow, served by a lovely gentle caring man. The drive into Darjeeling is long, bumpy and slow. I would recommend you don't waste a day of your precious time in Glenburn. Rather spend two nights in Darjeeling before or after Glenburn. We would have liked at least another night in Glenburn. It really is worth the journey in. "Satri House: "Charme et raffinement"
"Nous avons été séduits par cet hôtel situé à qqs minutes du centre ville. Calme absolu dans un cadre enchanteur. Bel espace piscine, très bon restaurant. Des bicyclettes sont mises à disposition. Personnel très aimable. Nous recommandons vivement."4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "<3"
A few days before the trip, I happened to feel insecure about the trip. Because it was my first time to go such an adventurous place without my family members. As the day came, i still joined with my friends. My first impression about the hotel was the "Security" that they gave to me. I was actually over thinking about how dangerous it was to visit a place located in the middle of the river surrounded by the forest. But I felt relieved as they did everything they could to have my trust. My second impression was the interaction between the people and the environment. It was so refreshing and beautiful. That's how the nature is supposed to be like. My third impression would be the hotel, 4 Rivers Floating Lodge itself. It was incredibly amazing how the products that were placed in the hotel were actually could be decomposed and not going to effect the environment. The facilities that we needed in our daily life were placed in the hotel too even though it's on the river. I felt so safe and secure because they provided materials that could save us in some cases. The people were so nice and polite. The foods was great in every meals and the transportation was good too. I've learned something new there. I hope to visit that place again <3tugu malang: "Warm friendly and so much Character"
"From the moment we arrived ,we were greeted with the most warmest of smiles. It didn't take long before the staff greeted us by our Christian names. Our room was beautiful and on the bed a welcome post card, a nice touch. Everything about this hotel is amazing, the service the cleanliness, the amenities , and the spa was divine. We took an organised tour through the hotel as it is very much like a museum. So much art and wood carvings, the walk down ""The Love Avenue"" towards the Sahara room was simply beautiful. The food in the Resturant, you just cannot fault, 5 star all the way. Afternoon tea is provided each afternoon with some traditional Javanese sweets. We had booked for 2 nights only but extended another night , just really couldn't leave. If I could give this place 6 star, I would. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for making our stay in Malang very enjoyable. "Poring Hot Spring Nature Reserve: "A lot of adventure activity"
"Poring basically has a lot of activities can be done. U can hike in Poring Hot Spring to reach the 2 waterfalls there. Kipungit waterfall can be reach out around 20 minutes from the entrance of the Poring Hot Spring and Lagganan Waterfall can be reach by 2-3 hours. The view and the nature absolutely beautiful. The track consider moderate to difficult to some area but it's really worth it. We can also climbed for a canopy walk in Poring Hot Spring with a very minimal payment and also payment for the camera or gadgets. The canopy walk is a great experience for those who is acrophobic or alto-phobic that want to challenge themselves on the high place. The trail going to the canopy walk quite easy with elevated small steps provided but it's quite challenging for those with knee problems and unfit for it. You need to climb around 500m towards the canopy walk and it took around 20. Consist of 5 canopy walk and each one around 175-200 Meters long and 41-43 Meters in height, which is higher than a 8-floor building. The entrance to Poring Canopy Walkway is about 835 Meters away from park entrance. It is open from 9am to 4pm daily. The walkway is an elastic structure, so it will bounce and swing when we walk on it. Some find this thrilling, while some think it’s scary!!!"Summertime Villa: "A slice of heaven"
"Summertime is an oasis of calm in Goa. The staff is lovely and caring, and the home and grounds are impeccable. All rooms and en suite bathrooms are tastefully decorated and spacious. The infinity pool is amazing and well maintained as are the grounds (our children enjoyed feeding the Koi fish in the pond each morning). For us, the owners made our daughter's birthday so special with their unexpected generosity, including a beautiful birthday cake, decorations and even an age-appropriate present! You'd definitely need a car to get around, as the home isn't really walking distance from any major markets or restaurants, and the approach road is rough. We will book again!"Sanak Retreat Bali: "In the rice fields, whit the head in the stars!"
"all around there is the smell of clove, the right place where break with the compulsory life of the overactive Seminyak..... you don't need to move, just look around and breath the peaceful sense of time passing. The lovely wooden bungalow are conformable and far away each other to grantee privacy and good rest. the food is excellent and the price definitely correct for the quality deserve. after 15 years coming in Bali for vacations is nice to be surprise..again ! Room Tip: better far from the restaurant aerea...."The Cabochon Hotel: "my favourite place to stay in Bangkok"
