Satri House: "Perfect in every way"
"Spent 4 days here exploring the lovely city of Luang Prabang. After a hectic 2 weeks in Vietnam this was a welcome oasis. From the moment you enter the property you feel a world away from the noise outside. Close by there is a temple so you can hear the soft chanting off and on throughout the day. The staff are attentive and helpful, the pool is lovely and the breakfast was excellent and the rooms gorgeous and comfortable. A 10 minute walk to the night market and chaos of downtown. We were lucky to be there for the beautiful full moon and end of lent celebration. What a sensory treat. We highly recommend!!"Slow Villas and Spa: "Hidden little secret"
"Slow is located on the eastern part of Gili Air - it s a small island, but this area is still quiet, with many coconuts and few construction. Each villa is a little private sanctuary, with a large garden, a nice pool, a terrace. charming decoration, quality linen... and the possibility if you like to have a chef to come and cook a BBQ just for you. Very friendly team, happy to share their favorite spots around the island. it's not right on the beach... but this is why also it's so quiet... and beach is 2mn walk! recommended: take a bike and go around the island by bike!"4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Great trip – high school principal and a few students"
"I am the principal of an international school in Phnom Penh. Our school collaborated with 4Rivers to raise funds for a school they are sponsoring near 4Rivers, so we were invited out to see it. First of all, the area is great, and lovely fresh air. All of the staff at 4Rivers were very attentive with no communication difficulties. The rooms were positively luxurious, especially considering we were just floating on a river. Beds were very comfortable, everything was prompt, food was delicious. I had a great time relaxing and would recommend it to anyone. Only downside is the sketchy internet, but they make that abundantly clear on the website, so bring a book! It's not really within the hotel's control, anyway, as it has to do with coverage in the area."Villa Song Saigon: "My Stay at Villa Song"
"We took 2 rooms at Villa Song - one for ourselves and another for our weekend guests. All 4 of us were very happy with the hotel. It's location on the river is excellent and peaceful. It was great to have a free boat service into and back from District 1. The pool is fabulous. The beds are exceptionally comfortable. We had 2 good dinners at the hotel. Room Tip: The bathroom lighting could be improved"Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "A fantastic experience"
What a wonderful place. The rooms are fantastic, cooking excellent and the staff are just brilliant. We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed, attentive service, the fantastic views from the room. The concept of the hotel is perfectly executed, a joy.David’s Kitchen: "Unforgettable first anniversary meal."
I don’t really know where to start with this review as so much has been said before but you really must treat yourself to David’s Kitchen. Not one detail has been overlooked, staff are impeccable, quality ingredients abound, presentation is exquisite. This is truly a unique dining experience. David is such a humble host, sharing the success of his restaurant with his charming wife Prom and the wonderful Thai chef, along with his attentive staff. It’s clear to see he has a passion to create a wonderful dining room with superb food and excellent service, this he manages with ease and charm, his reward is to see people from all over the world enjoying themselves. Thanks for a fantastic evening it was truly a great pleasure for us both.Sandat Glamping Tents: "Camping “Glamping” – WOW!"
"We stayed at Glamping Sandat for three nights which was a birthday surprise from my wife! It was one of the highlights of our Bali trip. It was so peaceful. We hired a moped to get into Ubud centre because the location is difficult to reach by car - you literally go through paddy fields to get there, which adds to it's charm. We had the most blessed stays. The 'tents' are beautifully designed. It's so relaxing to fall asleep to the sounds of local nature. The communal dining table area is lovely. Food is good. I think it will be hard to beat this place. You have to try it! Especially as you have your own private infinite pool!"Nimmu House: "Charming, peaceful, warm and stunning"
"Difficult to say what is best: the house? the tents? the whole staff? the location? the views? We had an amazingly fulfilling 7-day stay at Nimmu House. Met some great people. Had some great long chats. Had beautiful walks. Even had a very nice bicycle ride. The beauty of the valley and the surrounding mountains, the feeling of equanimity. It is pretty hard to beat such an experience."Tugu Bali: "Awesome place with shakey wifi"
"Had a great time here in may. The location is great for people lookibg for either surf, staying in hipster canggu or golf (close to the nirwana golf course). The hotel has an awesome location right on the beach. Before the beach there is a beautiful lawn where you can relax and watch the sea or have something to eat. The beach is good for beginner surfing as well as more intermediate. Not ideal for swimming because of the waves. But great for diving into the waves. The hotel itself has great balinese character. All the common areas but also the rooms. You are really in Bali. The food is awesome and the great thing is you can eat it on the lawn watching the sunset. The rooms are big with some sort of outside area where there is also big bath. Only drawbacks are the quality of the internet, it didn't really affect my stay as I was there only for a couple or nights, and the airconditiong. The airconditiong are basically two remotes for two aircos, where you have to mix and match to get the right temperature in the room. So kt's not climate control where you set to a temperature and it's done. But those things are outweighed easily by all the other things mentioned. Would come back anytime! "The Village House: "Lovely place"
"A wonderful experience which I can't get elsewhere in Kuching. Five stars services, clean and comfortable room, romantic ambience. This is a place where you can truly relax and have a peace of mind. We spent about half an hour looking for the place because there is no sign saying 'the village house' and the gate is closed. Once entered there is a small sign written 'secret inn' at which the place actually live up to its name. We were greeted by Flora and welcome drinks. A few rules have to be kept in mind for example no shoes in certain areas, have to order our dinner earlier and main gate is closed by 10pm. By the way, the dinner is very nice though its bit expensive (costs us rm76 for fish&chip, grilled chicken sandwiches and a dessert) There is free wifi but the signal is weak in our room. With no tv and wifi in the room, you can truly be close to the nature and your loved ones. Dont worry, there is an entertainment room full of books, board games and also an astro tv. "
