Les Maisons d’Itac: "Great place to stay"
We really enjoyed staying at this resort. We slept at Maison Ulysse and I really enjoyed the interior and . The resort has a lot of details and it very well looked after. It is hard to communicate with the staff as they hardly speak any English. But Bryan (the manager) is most of the time present to help and give you tipps. Due to the fact that this resort is very small, it has a familiar atmosphere which we enjoyed. We also felt very safe, never looked our hutSamanea Beach Resort: "Cambodia 6.17"
Had a great time, staff and hotel facilities excellent. The breakfast was very good and the dining facility was lovely and breezy. The room was spacious and comfortable and loved the outdoor shower. Pool also good.Mathis Retreat: "Little gem in Ubud"
We spent 4 nights in Mathis Retreat in April 2017. It was perfect. Excellent service, great restaurant with endless view over the rice fields, owner who is taking care of each guest and make him feel special. Organization of any tour or transport you need. Shuttle to the town every hour. Stylish rooms, great pool..... Highly recommendedVilla Mathis: "Fantastic stay in a little piece of paradise"
"Stayed in La Villa Mathis for three days and enjoyed every bit of it. Me and my travel companion tremendously enjoyed the quiet ambience of the villa and the villa manager Christian was extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. The villas have several swimming pools secluded from one to another and we felt like it is reserved specially for us! What a treat! The villa is located quite near with Seminyak strip and the villa staffs will assist you in arranging the transportation. The room was designed in a very thoughtful details and we felt like we can really switch off and rejuvenate in this place. Overall it is an absolutely amazing stay and we definitely will come back to Villa Mathis!"Mathis Retreat: "A lush oasis"
"Loved my stay at Mathis Retreat. A little bit removed from the hustle and bustle of Ubud town centre, it was the perfect place to relax after days spent travelling and exploring. From the leisurely breakfasts over looking the verdant rice fields, to the spacious room (Garden Bungalow) and of course the friendly staff, it ticked all the boxes. The room itself was airy and spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom reasonably large. Only complaint was the positioning of the power points, which meant devices could be charged or used, but not both at the same time. It would be helpful to have accessible power points near the bedside tables. The breakfast food options were plentiful, and I appreciated the fresh fruit juices and homemade jams. Recommend the pineapple pancakes, if you choose the Western breakfast option, but even better was the vegetarian nasi goreng. The vegetarian dinner options were a bit limited which was a bit disappointing. The staff were really lovely and it was nice to be welcomed by the owner, made the experience a little more personal than the usual hotel stay. The wifi connection was good and the free shuttle service was easy to use, making short work of the trip to and from the town centre. It may be a bit pricier than some of the hotels closer to the town centre, but it was definitely worth! Would definitely stay here again if ever in Ubud."Misool: "Probably my best Dive Holiday!!!"
"Misool Eco Resort combines the best parts of conservation, sustainability, diving and watersports in a laidback luxury style. The food was always delicious and care is taken to not waste food by preordering meals. Fresh and local ingredients are used. No plastic bottles or packaged products are used on the island and ocean-friendly toiletries are available in the villas. At the same time the attention and friendliness of all staff and the beautiful setup create a 5star experience. The diving sites are some of the best in the world and care is taken that the dive groups stay small and there is never many divers at the same time on one divesite. Sue, Mark and Sabine (the managers and head of watersports) are friendly, fun and very knowledgeable and take time to get to know each guest to ensure everyone can make the most out of their stay! Thanks guys, I had an awesome time!!"The Cabochon Hotel and Residence: "Excellent Boutique Hotel and Amazing Staff"
"This was the first stop on our honeymoon and the Cabochon was an excellent hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and helped answer any questions we had, including recommendations for restaurants and nearby spas. They even helped arrange shipping a package of souvenirs we had purchased back home to the USA. The food at the hotel is great, especially the free breakfast. The location of the hotel is very central but also tucked away on a side street, a nice quiet escape from the busy streets of Bangkok."Misool Eco Resort: "Mind Blowing"
"This would have to be the best overall holiday experience of my life incredible diving and snorkelling a resort that doesn't just talk ECO but walks it in a big way lovely accommodation in a beautiful setting, you don't want to leave. Fabulous staff who really look after you ( get a massage) the food is excellent and they will do something special if you don't fancy anything on the menu. Room Tip: the rooms on the side of the island where the restaurant is save walking."Flower Island: "Little island of paradise"
We stayed three nights in Flower Island in March 2015. We really enjoyed, the staff was very friendly and committed to make your stay like a being in paradise. The snorkeling experience was amazing, best we had in Palawan! Just few meters from our room, with all equipments available for free at the hotel! Nice breakfast with fresh mango every day! Dinner food could have been better, but ok!Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Fine dining at very good value for money"
So pleased I reserved this restaurant 90 days before we got there! It is so much in demand and I am not surprised. We chose the 6-course dinner accompanied by their recommended wine and with each course you look forward to the next one. Art on a plate and simply delicious. Just $31 for the 6-courses! Unheard of!!! Chef came round each table for our comments which we really did appreciate especially when the restaurant is so busy. The hostess was also very helpful and pleasant.Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
